Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “Silva uses a feint to get Herman off balance, but the nice sequence of punches that follow don't find their mark. There's a takedown attempt from Silva. Herman gets taken down by a single leg, and has to pull guard. Silva pounds away with right hands from the guard, hitting several big shots. Silva attempts to pass guard. He passes the guard well, gaining side control. Silva tries to slip behind and take the back. Herman is in big trouble as he is forced to give up his back! Silva increases his control by getting both hooks in. We are now at the halfway point of the round. With both hooks in and therefore great control of the body, Silva tries to finish Herman off with a rear naked choke. The rear naked choke is in deep, Herman has to tap out! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it’s all over!!!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Dan Miragliotta has called a stop to this bout at 3:19 of the first round, declaring the winner via tapout, Antonio Silva.”

Mike Goldberg: “Here’s Joe Rogan.”

Joe Rogan: “I’m here with the winner Antonio Silva. This is your first fight in the UFC, against a former highly touted prospect. Did that affect you come into this fight?”

Antonio Silva: “No, but making my UFC debut did.”

Joe Rogan: “Anyone you want to fight next?”

Antonio Silva: “Matt Mitrione.”

Joe Rogan: “Antonio Silva, ladies and gentlemen.”

Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “Davis feints stepping in. Davis feints stepping in. Davis shoots in, looking for a takedown. Marshall tries to step away from the takedown. Marshall avoids the takedown attempt. Marshall shoots in, looking for a takedown. The takedown is unsuccessful, Davis blocked Marshall. Davis throws a left jab but Marshall avoids it. They both meet with strikes, but neither does any damage. They wind up in a tight clinch. Davis is trying to muscle Marshall up against the cage. He does so, and now has Marshall pinned to the cage. We move into the second half of this round. Davis uses underhooks to gain solid control, and is looking for a takedown. The takedown doesn't work, Marshall blocked it and then turns it so that Davis is the one against the cage. With Davis stuck against the cage, Marshall tries to complete a takedown. He has the takedown! Davis pulls half guard. Marshall tries to ensnare Davis in a kimura. Davis defends it well. Davis reaches over and tries to lock up an arm. Davis gets an armbar fully applied and forces the tap out! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it’s all over!!!!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Dan Miragliotta has called a stop to this bout at 4:17 of the first round, declaring the winner via tapout, Phil Davis.”

Mike Goldberg: “Here’s Joe Rogan.”

Joe Rogan: “I’m here with the winner Phil Davis. You two first meet at UFC: Rio and you lost by unanimous decision, why did you want a rematch?”

Phil Davis: “I knew I could beat him and he was my first ever professional lost so of course I wanted a rematch.”

Joe Rogan: “How close do you think you are to a title shot?”

Phil Davis: “One fight away, but we will see what John Doe thinks.”

Etsuya Okamura vs. Ben Greer

Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “Both fighters throw strikes, no significant damage is inflicted by either. There's a stalemate as both fighters throw strikes, but neither scores. Okamura is looking to turn this into a wrestling match, and is getting in closer to Greer. Okamura grabs Greer and pulls him into a grapple. Using his wrestling skills, Okamura is trying to push Greer up against the cage. Okamura achieves it, pinning Greer to the cage. Unable to get free, Greer is smothered up against the cage for about thirty seconds. Smothered against the cage, Greer is stuck there, unable to do anything, for roughly thirty seconds. We are now at the halfway point of the round. Okamura tries to smother Greer against the cage with wrestling, but he reverses it and pushes Okamura against the cage instead. With the fight having been stuck against the cage for a lengthy period of time, the referee restarts them back in the center. Greer steps in, feints a kick, then darts back out. An exchange of strikes doesn't really lead to anything. We move into the final sixty seconds of this round. Moving in closer, Okamura looks like he wants to strike from the pocket. He gets into range. From the pocket, Okamura shoots in for a double leg. Greer cannot stop the takedown, and has to pull guard. Okamura begins trying to pass guard and get a better position. Greer keeps Okamura in guard. The time is up, and that's the end of round one.”

Round 2:

Mike Goldberg: “Okamura doesn't get drawn in as Greer feints a kick. Both fighters fire off strikes, neither produces any significant damage. Okamura comes in, looking for a quick takedown. Okamura gets a single leg takedown! Greer pulls guard off it. Time slips away as Okamura successfully keeps Greer stuck against the ground. In guard, Okamura begins working to pass to side control. He can't get free of the guard. Greer bursts into life and tries to scramble into a better position. There wasn't enough separation though, Okamura is able to catch him and secure side control. We go past the halfway point of this round. Okamura starts trying to work to go from side control to mount. Okamura shifts to mount. Okamura has solid control over Greer, and starts pounding away with strikes. Greer had better start defending himself, or this will be over! The referee gives Greer time to do something, but eventually has to come in and stop the fight! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it’s all over!!!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Bob Hillbilly has called a stop to this bout at 4:08 of the second round, declaring the winner via tapout, Etsuya Okamura.”

(John Doe and Joe Rogan try and get their last hype in before the PPV starts.)

Main Card:

(The opening for UFC 162: Lytle vs. St-Pierre II starts.)

Daniel Puder: “The UFC is giving me a big opportunity against a big name fight like Big Nog, in my third UFC fight, but I will show everyone they didn’t make a mistake.”

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: “Puder is only getting this fight with me as he is a former ‘pro’ wrestler, well tonight I will show Puder that MMA is not like ‘pro’ wrestling.”

Georges St-Pierre: “Lytle is good, however he won’t be able to beat me twice.”

Chris Lytle: “I have knocked out GSP before and will do it again.”

Mike Goldberg: “In our co-main event former WWE wrestler Daniel Puder takes on a next level of fighter, in Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.”

Joe Rogan: “This fight is a good one as Puder will be showing everyone if he can take on a high level in Big Nog, who can submit or knockout this wrestler easily.”

Mike Goldberg: “Come up next we have our first fight of the night.”

Strikes from Yahya keep Griffin from stepping in too close, and he is forced to step back. Yahya avoids a huge right hand and hits a stinging left jab. Yahya shoots in, looking for a takedown. The time is up, and that's the end of round one.”

He pulls Yahya into a Muay Thai clinch. Yahya blocks a knee strike, but cannot hit an elbow over the top of the clinch. Yahya throws out a couple of jabs as a set up, then shoots in for a takedown. The takedown is unsuccessful, Griffin blocked Yahya. Yahya comes in closer, looking to attack from the pocket. Griffin now has Yahya standing in the pocket. Moving in closer, Yahya looks like he may want to wrestle Griffin. He pulls Griffin into a grapple. Clinched with Griffin, Yahya looks to try and take him down. Griffin blocks the takedown attempt. Griffin turns Yahya slightly, creating enough space so that he can break free of the grapple. Tyson Griffin is looking really tired. We pass the halfway mark of this round. Griffin throws a looping punch, but Yahya avoids it. Yahya presses in closer to attack. Griffin counters a flurry of punches by hitting a jab. Breathing very hard, Rani Yahya is looking ragged. We reach the time limit and this fight is over.”

Joe Rogan: “I’m here with the winner Daniel Puder. Coming into this fight you took a huge step up in contest, why?”

Daniel Puder: “I know I could beat him so I asked Doe for the fight and he gave it to me.”

Joe Rogan: “Do you have anyone in your mind as to who you want to fight next?”

Daniel Puder: “Yeah, I would like to face former WWE champ Brock Lesnar. WWE vs. WWE.”

Joe Rogan: “Daniel Puder, ladies and gentlemen.”

Chris Lytle vs. Georges St-Pierre

Bruce Buffer: “It’sssssssssssss time for out main event. This fight is 5 rounds in the Welterweight division. Introducing first, the challenger, fighting in the blue corner. Weighing in at 170lbs. This man is a Wrestler. With a record of 23 wins & 3 loses. Fighting out of Montreal, Quebec. Georges "Rush" St. Pierre.

Introducing his opponent, fighting in the red corner. Weighing in at 170lbs.This man is a boxer & submission wrestler. With a record of 33 wins, 17 loses & 5 draws. Fighting out of Indianapolis, Indiana. The defending reigning UFC Welterweight champion, Chris “Lights Out” Lytle.

Herb Dean: (Calls both fighters forward) “Alright gentlemen, we've been over the instructions in the dressing room: protect yourself at all times; follow my instructions at all times. Let's have a good, clean fight. Now touch gloves to make it official.” (They both touch gloves.)

Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “An exchange of strikes doesn't lead to any real damage. St. Pierre goes to the body and then to the head with a tidy combination to get Lytle to cover up, then shoots in. The takedown is completed, it was a single leg and Lytle is left on his back pulling guard. St. Pierre begins trying to pass the guard. Lytle finds his opponent too skilled, and St. Pierre passes guard into side control. St. Pierre fires away with rights, Lytle is getting pounded. Lytle had better start defending himself, or this will be over! The referee gives Lytle time to do something, but eventually has to come in and stop the fight! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it’s all over!!!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Herb Dean has called a stop to this bout at 1:34 of the first round, declaring the winner via TKO, the new UFC Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.”

(In Walks Anthony Johnson, he gets into GSP’s face and pushes him. GSP turns around a walks right out of the octagon.)

Jonathan Turner vs. Edson Claas Vieira

Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “Both fighters exchange strikes, but neither hits anything significant. Draggo steps back to avoid a leg kick. A flurry of punches miss Turner and allow him to counter-strike with a kick to the inside of the left leg. Both throw strikes at each other, both easily defend the other's attempt. Turner feints to one side and then throws a spinning back fist but Draggo avoids it by mere inches. Turner counters a flurry of punches by hitting a picture-perfect right roundhouse kick to the side of the ribs. Both fighters come in and throw strikes, there is no real damage done by either. We've now passed the halfway mark in this round. Turner uses head movement to slip past a punch, then hits a stinging jab. Both fighters advance and strike, but neither hits anything. Turner tries for a body kick but Draggo sees it coming and avoids it. Draggo checks a low kick and then steps forward to hit a jab. The end of the round is coming quick, there's under a minute left. Turner uses head movement to cause a left jab to sail harmlessly by. Both fighters come in and exchange strikes, but neither does any damage. They wind up in a tight clinch. Looking to take this fight to the ground, Draggo tries to pull Turner down into his guard. It's no use though, Turner doesn't budge and instead takes control of the clinch. The time is up, and that's the end of round one.”

Round 2:

Mike Goldberg: “Turner waits for a flurry of punches to stop, then hits a stinging left jab. Draggo avoids a jab. Moving in closer, Turner looks like he may want to try and clinch with Draggo. Draggo tries to catch him by surprise with a takedown attempt, but it is blocked. A feint puts him off balance, but Draggo is still able to slip out of the way of a body kick. A speculative right hand from Draggo doesn't find a home. Time slips away as Turner doesn't press Draggo, allowing him to circle. Draggo chooses to shoot in on Turner. The takedown is completed, it was a single leg but Turner is on his back less than a few seconds; spinning out and away, he quickly gets back up. We go past the halfway point of this round. Turner looks like he might be trying to get in close and wrestle with Draggo. Draggo drops down to try and catch him by surprise with a single leg attempt, but it is blocked. Turner looks to move in and stand in the pocket. Seeing an opportunity, Draggo goes straight for a takedown, but Turner is equal to it. We move into the final sixty seconds of this round. Both fighters come in and exchange strikes, but neither does any damage. An exchange of blows doesn't really produce any damage or a clear advantage. Both fighters fire off strikes, neither produces any significant damage. Round two ends as time expires.”

Round 3:

Mike Goldberg: “Turner avoids a jab and scores with a left jab to the cheek. A couple of wild haymakers are used to set up a takedown attempt from Draggo. Draggo drives forward with the takedown, but Turner is able to stay on his feet and turn them around. Draggo ends up pressed up against the cage. Turner smothers Draggo against the cage, then hits him with an elbow strike to the side of the head. Draggo has a gash under his eye from that strike. Turner steps back to achieve some separation from Draggo and gets ready to strike. Draggo checks a low kick. Turner hits an enormous right cross from the pocket, Draggo is out before he hits the ground! ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it’s all over!!!!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Burt Watson has called a stop to this bout at 2:01 of the third round, declaring the winner via KO, Jonathan Turner.”

Patricky Freire vs. David Douglas

Round 1:

Mike Goldberg: “They exchange strikes, but neither fighter inflicts any real damage.

Douglas feints stepping in. Advancing, Douglas counters a left jab by using a left jab to the cheek. Advancing, Douglas counters a left jab by using a jab. Freire steps back to avoid a left jab. Douglas feints rushing in, but Freire doesn't fall for it. Douglas uses a feint to get Freire off balance, but the nice sequence of punches that follow don't find their mark. We pass the halfway mark of this round. Douglas steps in, feints a kick, then darts back out. Douglas is looking to get in close and strike from the pocket. Standing his ground, Freire looks happy to engage Douglas in the pocket. Douglas sees a low kick being set up and strikes first with a solid punch. Douglas tries for a left jab but Freire uses head movement to avoid it. Freire lets a jab sail wide and counter-strikes with a sharp kick to the shin. There's under a minute left in this round. Douglas slips past a big right and hits a massive uppercut, knocking Freire down to the ground...he is out cold!”

Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and gentlemen, referee Henry Hotererior has called a stop to this bout at 4:31 of the first round, declaring the winner via KO, David Douglas.”

I already simmed the event and gotta say it had some awesome fights but you are right about Maynard vs. Fitch.

tbh I started this diary before I even know I was getting the game, you see I don't have a credit card and had to get my parents to buy it for me.

edit: it's not about dedication it's about are you having fun, I was going to quit this because people havn't been predicting much, however one person said they loved it so I am keeping it.

I try not to let it bother me if people aren't interested, I think its best to do it for yourself and like you said, to have fun. Keep up the good work.
