In the end it was one of the unusual but recently common picking up of a chair by American Patriot that was the end. After getting it knocked away from him by Americana, it was then used on his partner Britiannica. Cell Batch 3 (or that is what Duke called them which I found amusing) fought hard and at times dominated. NAME was not to be denied however as all aggression was defended by craftiness and team work. It was back and forth throughout but in the end, The Majesty triumphed. It started with the intensity here as Majesty was as he always is, The Theory continued to impress all with a quickness unmatched, and the teamwork and dirty tactics of NAME were perfect and well placed. Steven Parker used to say “The Future is Now” back in his early days North of the Border as well as ruling the Mid-Atlantic region. It may soon be “Now”. Mr. Parker pushed the great Acid to the limit and more getting near 3 counts numerous times. He definitely should demand a rematch soon. The rest of the show was average, but I will live with average. it’s the below average that I have a problem with. If you haven’t figured it out yet with three shows down all tournaments, GEN NXT is big on tournaments. You have witnessed a Collective Elite Tournament which will be a monthly event (non-touring months prohibited obviously), we also will have the second Elite 8 Series (the first being the inaugural tournament held on the super card known as A Nu Era). This is a singles tournament which is also a monthly event that showcases the pre-selected eight greatest GEN NXT superstars. This will be done very shortly as well as this Thursday we begin the our weekly touring show. This is untitled and not DVD distributed simply being promoted as “Next Generation Wrestling”. It will be recorded however and it will be from these shows where we will gather our best matches to be aired on the yet to be scheduled or produced tv program which will be volumed as “The Best of GEN NXT”. We have one “Next Generation Wrestling” touring show scheduled before the Elite 8 Series. We are told after our first trip to the South West, the GEN NXT Elite 8 will be announced.
