In 2002, World Wide Fund sued the World Wrestling Federation. A lot of money is lost, and a lot of talents must be fired. WCW take advantage of it against the new "World Wrestling Entertainment". The monday and thursday night wars are back between Raw and Nitro, SmackDown and Thunder. All are broadcasted live. Both companies have a monthly 3 hours PPV on Sunday Night. Beside those companies, different small independant promotions, but all seems far far away from them. A real alternative is coming ... Jeff Jarrett left WCW in the middle of the 2000s, and almost left the wrestling world. He came back in the beginning of 2010, with the idea of a new wrestling federation, lower than the 2 globals, but higher than the indies. This federation will be focused on in-ring action, with young and international wrestlers. Is also revealed the "X Division", with the headline "it's not about weight limit, it's about no limit". In late November 2010, "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling" is created. Are announced weekly PPV, beginning in January 2011. Only rumors for the names, most of them come from the independant federations. But others rumors are speaking about many dismissal for WWE and WCW for the beginning of 2011. Finally, during the first days of 2011, the names and the card are revealed, with some indy wrestlers and some fired wrestlers...
