Wow, lotta love already! Hope I can live up to the hype!

(OOC: Think my data is a bit dated as I had Lince Dorado as a Tecnico even though he is a member of BDK at this point. Also, Tim Donst is still the Young Lions Cup holder though in real life it's now held by Frightmare. I kinda started this diary before I knew too much about Chikara and have picked up a lot as I have gone on, so excuse me for these errors!)

That's the best thing about mods and diaries man, you can re-write history your way I guess :)

Motive Means Opportunity

The land of CHIKARA is in turmoil. For several months, the deadly faction known as The BDK has run roughshod over the entire roster. A small alliance of rebel Tecnicos lead by Mike Quackenbush stand in their way of total domination of CHIKARA.

The evening started with a bang. The young lion prospect Frightmare fought and beat FIST member Johnny Gargano handily. FIST, whilst not officially affiliated with The BDK, have made it known through their actions that they support them. A victory over team FIST was just what the technicos needed, and Frightmare was clearly delighted. Surely this victory brings him one step closer to a shot at The Young Lions Cup.

Things got better for The Technicos as Lince Dorado and The Super Smash Brothers beat Jagged and Colin Delaney and Vin Gerard of UnStable. In a high flying encounter, Lince Dorado picked up the win with his patented Lynx-sault, pinning the young Canadian Jagged in the process. Again, whilst not a direct victory over The BDK, confidence was high in the Technico camp.

Next to taste the sweet amber nectar of victory was Delirious. In a strange yet compelling encounter, Delirious eventually got the better of The Warlord of Weird, Sinn Bodhi in what many CHIKARA residents called the match of the evening. We can always count on Delirious to fight the good fight and take the battle to the evil BDK.

So far, The BDK had been conspicuous by their absence. Perhaps plotting, maybe scheming, but certainly doing something very evil, no doubt. When they finally did make their presence felt, it was with their usual panache for devastation and destruction. The charismatic linchpin of The BDK, Claudio Castagnoli, joined by Ares, Tursas and Sara Del Rey at ringside, took on The Last of a Dying Breed, Eddie Kingston in a wild and chaotic brawl. It no doubt goes without saying that the BDK members at ringside made their presence felt during the encounter, but the one man army more than held his own in the face of such adversity.

Eventually, the numbers game proved too much for our modern day warrior, and Kingston fell foul of an almighty Riccola bomb. The BDK stood tall in the ring with their patented salute.

After such an epic beatdown, CHIKARAtown needed a pick-me-up, and it came in the shape of Amasis and Ophidian, The Osirian Portal. They faced off against the other two members of FIST, Icarus and Chuck Taylor and shifted the momentum back towards the Technicos by picking up a huge victory and looking good in the process. Many believe that The Portal will have a huge say in the future of CHIKARA when all is said and done. FIST will go home and lick their wounds, no doubt to return stronger than ever soon.

And now for something completely different...The much hyped debut of Al Snow in CHIKARA! Snow came to the ring to a great reception, but this was a slightly different Snow from the last time we saw him. Al was bedecked in Ice Hockey gear and debuted a new Ice Hockey persona. He was joined, of course, by his trusty head, who was also wearing a hockey mask. He was also joined by both members of The Throwbacks; Sugar Dunkerton and Dasher Hatfield. Despite all the hype surrounding Al, he was unfortunately no match for the might of his opponent Brodie Lee Brodie picked up the win with a huge big boot, before decimating The Throwbacks for good measure. Again, Brodie is unaffiliated with The BDK, but they no doubt cast admiring glances at the big man, in fact, they sent Daizee haze to ringside during the match to scout The Big Rig. Will Brodie join forces with The BDK? Only time will tell.

And then came time for the main event of the evening. Tim Donst and Pinkie Sanchez versus Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw with the Campeon de Parejas (Tag Titles) on the line. Quackenbush and Jigsaw are the current champions of course, besting Ares and Castagnoli back in december in a rare defeat for The BDK members. Tonight was the opportunity for Donst and Pinkie to bring the titles back to the evil faction.

Tag teams may only compete for the Campeon de Parejas once they have won three matches in a row, and Donst and Pinkie come into this match with impressive victories over The Throwbacks, The Osirian Portal and The Colony under their belts. But Quackenbush and Jigsaw are no pushovers, which they proved by beating Ares and Castagnoli

What a match this was. Drama, intrigue, inappropriate dancing, just some of the words used to describe the action on show. Championship matches are contested under three fall rules, and Pinkie and Donst took the first fall after some liberal application of the rules. Quackenbush quickly picked up the second fall, taking out Sanchez with his Quackendriver 3.

This could have, perhaps should have, been a night for great celebration for the Technicos, as both Jigsaw and Quackenbush locked in The CHIKARA special submission manoeuvre on their opponents. Then, disaster struck. The arena lights dimmed, and when they came back on, Quackenbush and Jigsaw were left lying in the ring, with Donst and Sanchez draped over their unmoving bodies. The referee had no option but to make the three count and award the titles to Donst and Sanchez. The BDK regained the biggest prize in CHIKARA.

Full results:

Frightmare beat Johnny Gargano

Lince Dorado and Super Smash Brothers beat Colin Delaney, Vin Gerard and Jagged

Delirious bested Sinn Bodhi

Claudio Castagnoli defeated Eddie Kingston

The Osirian Portal beat Chuck Taylor and Icarus

Brodie Lee destroyed Al Snow

Time Donst and Pinkie Sanchez beat Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw by two falls to one

Thankyou to everybody who predicted. Going forward, shows probably wont follow this format, just something I was trying out. Future shows will probably have a bit more traditional layout.

Hello and welcome to CHIKARA Podcast-a-go-go! We are only twenty four hours removed from Motive Means Opportunity, and we want to thank all 1,816 of you who made it a wonderful night in Stony Brook. It was another rough night for CHIKARA, as The BDK once again dominated proceedings, taking back the Campeon de Parejas they lost in December last year. As The CHIKARMY filtered out of the arena, Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw were down and out in the ring as The BDK dominated the ring. When Quackenbush and Jigsaw made their way to the back, our cameraman followed them. Here is what happened after the show.

Quackenbush and Jigsaw enter the changing room. It has already emptied, except for the lone figure of Eddie Kingston.

KINGSTON- Quack! What the hell is going on around here! CHIKARA aint CHIKARA no more. You really gonna let those sons of bitches run things? You know, I've fought my own fight ever since I came here, man, but BDK are making it real hard. As much as I want to pretend otherwise this stuff affects us all. It makes us all look like chumps! You don't want Eddie Kingston to look like a chump...So I ask you Quack. What the hell are you going to do about it?

QUACKENBUSH- What am I going to do? What am I going to do? I want rid of The BDK as much as you, Kingston! I can't believe it's come to this...but there's only one thing left to do. There's only one person left to turn to...

End of Video

We don't know who, or what, Mike Quackenbush was talking about but be sure to keep checking the podcast for more news as it breaks.

The King of Trios tournament 2011 gets under way in only 26 days time. The sixteen team six man tag weekend long extravaganza is one of the hottest shows on the wrestling calender, and this year promises to be one of the best. Starting today, we will be officially announcing this years teams.

Team Throwbacks

Al Snow, Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton are the first team in this years brackets. Al made his CHIKARA debut last night in a losing effort to Brodie Lee. The new look Al Snow should fit right in with Dasher and Sugar with his Ice Hockey attire.

Team Estrogenos

Don't let their lack of testicles fool you! The all female team of Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze and Fabi Apache are truly a force to be reckoned with. Del Rey and Haze have a mean streak a mile wide, as displayed by their allignment with The BDK. Newcomer to CHIKARA Apache is more known for her work in Mexico with AAA, and should prove more than a capable partner. Will 2011 see the first female Trio's winner?

Neo Solar Temple

Ultramantis black will team up with his former ally Crossbones and The Warlord of Weird Sinn Bodhi to form the new version of The Neo Solar Temple. The Temple have never made it past the second round of The King of Trios and are hungry for success.

http://i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae100/y2jchikara/GreenAntsq.jpghttp://i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae100/y2jchikara/SoldierAntsq.jpghttp://i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae100/y2jchikara/fireantsq.jpg

The Colony

The Colony were King of Trios finalists last year and are looking to go one step further this year. Soldier and, Fire ant and Green ant certainly have the pedigree, but will The Ant's go marching all the way to the title?

That's it for now CHIKARA fans. Be sure to keep checking CHIKARAPRO.COM for more CHIKARA news!
