Maldonado dominated a poor first couple of rounds that saw the fans booing after the 2nd. Kingsbury needed to push in the third and his corner said has much but with the fight more open it was Maldonado who managed to knock Kingsbury with a huge right but Kingsbury managed to cover up and the fight went the distance ..</p><p> </p><p>

A quick exchange of Strikes kicks things off, a few takedonw attempts from Bailey look like they may of given him the round. Galvao turned things around it it looks pretty open at this point after he seemingly took round 2. A right from Galvao followed by Bailey hitting a quick left starts of the quick pace in the final round Galvao shoots on Bailey but can not take his opponant down, even trying twice more but coming up short, but he finally does it he takes Bailey down who quickly pulls guard Galvao throws a few punches to the body of Bailey but he is breathing hard he doesn't have much left ..</p><p> </p><p>

After round 1 boos echo around the arena after the round produced little in the way of entertainment. Pettis should of took the round as well has round 2 which also saw little in the way of action. Clay Guida came out fighting for the 3rd but didn't do anywhere near enough to winb the fight.</p><p> </p><p>

I hope you didn't just curse the real Guida/Pettis fight with that stinker. Geez, I can't even imagine those two having a bad fight. Unless Clay goes into his cardio kickboxing routine again and Pettis is just as flummoxed by it as Gomi was.

Early in the first Carwin shoots for a double leg takedown but Russow saw the takedown coming, he tries to grab a guillotine but Carwin is successful and Russow is down and pulls guard. It looked like Carwin took the round 10-9. Shane Carwin manages to lift Russow on his shoulder and slam him down - very impressive! Russow struggles to get out of Carwins grips before The Monster unleashes with a barrage of punches and Russow is not seen to be able to defend himself and the ref steps in.

 

Shane Carwin defeats Michael Russow Via TKO after 3:30 of round 2 (Good).

Weidman takes Bongfeldt down with a single leg, on the ground he manages to go round Bongfeldts guard and take his back before unleashing with a series of rights and Bongfeldt cant seem to find a way out and eventually the referee stops the fight.

Stout is dodging out of the way of Edwards' jabs keeping moving but he is fooled and the fighters end up real close and throwing wild looking jabs and a right cross from Stout connect and Edwards is out before he hits the ground.

Not alot happened in the first with the crowd slowly getting on the backs of the fighters. The second didn't see too much more action but was easily better than the first and saw Florian try to slow Nunes down with some viscious leg kicks. Nunes looked like he took the first and Florian the second so this round is sure to see some action ... A brutal flying Knee from Florian scores right in the face of Nunes and he is down .. Nunes shakes the cobwebs and scrambles away from Florians fists, Nunes gets Florians back and goes for a Rear Naked Choke but Florian does excellently rolling over sharply and ending up on top in guard. Securing an arm, Nunes brings his legs up and tries to lock Florian in a triangle choke but Florian doesn't let Nunes get it ..

 

Judge #1 scores the Fight 29-28 to Nunes, Judge #2 29-28 to Florian and Judge #3 scores the fight 29-28 to the winner Via Split Decision Diego 'The Gun' Nunes (Average).

Cerrone outwrestled Danzig in the first to take the round. Cerrone wrestles Danzig towards the cage and finally pushes him into it before knocking him down with a sharp right hook. Stunned Cerrone mounts Danzig and sets up for an Armbar and it is locked in good and Danzig taps.

Maian clearly wants to take Munoz to the ground and finally achieves it at the halfway point of round 1 and attempts a Kneebar that Munoz defends very well. A quality round that the fans really got in to saw Maia take it probably 10-9. Maia has Munoz backed against the Cage and takes him down Munoz attempt half guard but Maia slipping out and straight into a mount he goes for a kneebar but Munoz saw what he was doing and pulled free, starting a scramble for position. It definately looked like Maia took the second 10-9.
