WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from the OH Steve Cady Arena, 2,900 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Santino Marella versus Ted DiBiase

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ted DiBiase defeated Santino Marella in 18:06 by pinfall with a Dream Street.

Match Rating: B-

The show begins with New Nexus member and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, David Otunga, making his way to the ring. Otunga says that at Wrestlemania he and Michael McGuillicutty will defeat Kane and the Big Show and retain their WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: B+

The WWE United States Champion, Daniel Bryan comes to the ring and proclaims that after he defeated Sheamus at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View to win the title for a second time he plans on holding it for a long time, and says that he will retain the title against Primo at Wrestlemania. For a second week in a row, John Cena then interrupts Daniel Bryan. Cena says that he knows that this is Bryan’s time but he just wanted to say how pleased he was that The Undertaker chose to accept Cena’s challenge to a match at Wrestlemania last week on SmackDown!, and John Cena promises that he will end The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

Rating: B-

The WWE Champion, The Miz, comes to the ring and says that for the second week in a row he has to defend the WWE Championship on RAW tonight, and that thanks to the anonymous General Manager he will have to defend his title every week on RAW if he wants to head into Wrestlemania to defend the title against the Number One Contender, CM Punk, and he feels this is highly unfair. Miz says that he will retain the title against Mark Henry tonight just as he did against John Morrison last week. CM Punk then comes to the entrance-way and says that he doesn’t care who the Champion is at Wrestlemania, he is going to become the new WWE Champion regardless.

Rating: B+

Mark Henry then strides past CM Punk on the entrance-way, clearing intimidating the leader of the New Nexus as he does so, and joins the WWE Champion The Miz in the ring. Mark Henry takes the microphone from The Miz and tells him that he will defeat him tonight and become WWE Champion for the very first time, and will then go on to defend the title against CM Punk at Wrestlemania.

Rating: B+

Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, then joins CM Punk, his leader, on the entrance-way. McGuillicutty says that, as Punk said earlier, it doesn’t matter who wins between The Miz and Mark Henry in tonight’s main event, CM Punk will beat either of them to become the new WWE Champion at Wrestlemania. McGuillicutty then repeats what Otunga said earlier, and says that he and Otunga will also defeat Big Show and Kane to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania.

Rating: B

The WWE Divas Champion Natalya comes to the ring and says that at Wrestlemania she will successfully retain her Divas title in the Triple Threat match against Maryse and Kelly Kelly. Brie Bella then comes to the ring and for the second week in a row distracts Natalya for long enough for Maryse to enter the ring and hit Natalya with another DDT. Brie and Maryse shakes hands as Maryse picks up the microphone to proclaim that at Wrestlemania she will defeat both Kelly Kelly and the Champion Natalya to become the new WWE Divas Champion.

Rating: C

John Morrison comes to the ring and says that first of all he would like to officially accept SmackDown!’s Drew McIntyre’s challenge to a match at Wrestlemania. Morrison then says that last week he would have won the WWE Championship had he not been attacked before the match by Zack Ryder, The Uso Brothers, Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews. Morrison says that if they plan to attack him again in future they should know that he will have back up this time. Evan Bourne then returns from injury, comes to the ring and shakes hands with John Morrison. Bourne wishes Morrison the best of luck in his inter-promotional match with Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania.

Rating: C+

David Hart Smith versus Heath Slater

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Heath Slater defeated David Hart Smith in 12:27 by pinfall with a Leaping Chinlock Slam.

Darren Young versus Justin Gabriel

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Justin Gabriel defeated Darren Young in 5:33 by pinfall with a 450° Splash.

Match Rating: C

William Regal makes his way to the ring and says that as John Cena was allowed to challenge The Undertaker to an inter-promotional match at Wrestlemania and Drew McIntyre was allowed to challenge John Morrison to an inter-promotional match at Wrestlemania he’d like to make a little challenge of his own to a SmackDown! Superstar. Regal says that throughout his recent career he’s seen what he knows as the art-form of wrestling degenerate into a bunch of scrawny little gymnasts flipping and flopping around the ring. He blames this on Rey Mysterio, and officially challenges Mysterio to a match at Wrestlemania, and says that he expects an answer from Mysterio this Friday night on SmackDown!

Rating: D

Goldust versus Jimmy Uso

In an extremely short match, Jimmy Uso defeated Goldust in 1:12 by pinfall with a Samoan Spike.
