WWE Championship: The Miz © versus David Hart Smith

Haha, would love for DH Smith to win it, but I fear that you have the same plans for him that WWE does now.

Mark Henry versus Ted DiBiase

Again, I feel Dibiase is an underused worker in WWE. He needs to get some momentum.

R-Truth versus Heath Slater

Santino Marella versus Justin Gabriel

Goldust versus Jimmy Uso

Lol. Never happening.

Gail Kim versus Nikki Bella

Eve versus Alicia Fox

As a fan of womens wrestling, I hope they both botch a clothesline and die in the ring. They make me physically sick.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from the MD Knott Arena, 3,121 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Vladimir Kozlov versus Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Zack Ryder defeated Vladimir Kozlov in 17:42 by pinfall with a Zack Attack.

Match Rating: C+

The show begins with The Miz making his way to the ring, and the WWE Champion looks fairly pleased with himself. The Miz says that tonight, for the fourth week in a row, he must defend his WWE Championship on Monday Night RAW. Miz says that in the last four weeks he has beat John Morrison, Mark Henry and Goldust to retain his title, and tonight he will defend it again in the main event against David Hart Smith. Miz says that he is confident tonight as David Hart Smith lost to Ted DiBiase last week on RAW, and Miz feels he is far superior to DiBiase. The leader of the New Nexus CM Punk then makes his way to the entrance-way and proclaims that it doesn’t matter if Miz defends the title against David Hart Smith tonight or not, as at Wrestlemania he will defeat them to become the new WWE Champion.

Rating: B+

The WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan comes to the ring and says that since he beat Sheamus at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View to capture the title for a second time he has promised himself that he won’t lose it again. Bryan says that at Wrestlemania he will successfully retain the title against Primo. Once again, John Cena then marches to the ring to interrupt Daniel Bryan. Cena apologises to Bryan but says that he has something more important to talk about, and that’s his match at Wrestlemania against SmackDown!’s Undertaker, a match that has been seven years in the making since Undertaker took Cena under his wing when he first debuted in the WWE. Cena says that he will end The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

Rating: B

David Otunga, a member of the New Nexus and one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions comes to the ring and declares that at Wrestlemania he and Michael McGuillicutty will defeat Kane and the Big Show and retain their titles successfully.

Rating: B+

Michael McGuillicutty then joins his WWE Tag Team Championship partner David Otunga in the ring and reinstates the view that he and Otunga will defeat Kane and the Big Show at Wrestlemania in their contractual rematch to retain their WWE Tag Team titles.

Rating: B

The WWE Divas Champion Natalya comes to the ring and says that at Wrestlemania she will retain her title in the Triple Threat match against both Maryse and Kelly Kelly. Once again Brie Bella then comes to the ring and distracts the Champion allowing Maryse to sneak into the ring and plant Natalya with a DDT. The Champion looks hurt as she lies in the centre of the ring whilst Brie and Maryse shake hands.

Rating: C

David Hart Smith comes to the ring and says that later tonight in the main event he will face The Miz for the WWE Championship. He then calls John Morrison to the ring. Smith asks Morrison if he will help him stop Alex Riley from interfering in tonight’s main event, which Morrison says he will do. Morrison then says he will beat Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania, and will be successful in the inter-promotional match. Morrison says Regal will not be successful and will lose to Rey Mysterio.

Rating: C

Mark Henry versus Ted DiBiase

R-Truth versus Heath Slater

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, R-Truth defeated Heath Slater in 5:39 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Flying Forearm Smash. This match lifted the crowd, who seemed to be particularly impressed with the high-flying antics of R-Truth. CM Punk will likely be disappointed with New Nexus member Slater for losing here.

Match Rating: B

Santino Marella versus Justin Gabriel

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Justin Gabriel defeated Santino Marella in 6:11 by pinfall with a 450° Splash. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Michael Cole noted on commentary that Justin Gabriel has been performing better than his New Nexus colleague Heath Slater as of late.

Match Rating: C

Eve versus Alicia Fox

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Eve defeated Alicia Fox in 5:42 by pinfall with a Moonsault. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Michael Cole noted on commentary that this is the second week in a row that Eve has been victorious over Alicia Fox in singles action, and Eve has certainly been looking impressive as of late. Fox, on the other hand, needs to up her game.

Match Rating: D+

Evan Bourne gingerly comes to the ring following his attack by Tyson Kidd last week on RAW. Bourne says that when he gets fit again he will go after Kidd hoping to get his revenge. Tyson Kidd then rushes to the ring and once again kicks Bourne in the injured shoulder, leaving Kidd lying in the ring in clear agony.

Rating: B-

Goldust versus Jimmy Uso

In an extremely short match, Jimmy Uso defeated Goldust in 1:24 by pinfall with a Samoan Wrecking Ball.

Match Rating: C

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Yoshi Tatsu versus Husky Harris

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Yoshi Tatsu defeated Husky Harris in 18:19 by pinfall with a Roundhouse Kick. The match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. This match brought the crowd's mood down.

Match Rating: D-

Final Show Rating: C
