Pre-Show: Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendes versus Layla and Michelle McCool

In an extremely short match, Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendes defeated Team LayCool in 3:18 when Beth Phoenix defeated Layla by pinfall with a Glam Slam.

Match Rating: C-

The show begins with the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger making his way to the ring. Swagger says that he will defeat the winner of the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton, at Wrestlemania in the main event to retain his World title. Swagger then makes some other predictions for Wrestlemania. He predicts that his friend Wade Barrett will defeat both Dolph Ziggler and Ezekiel Jackson in the Triple Threat match to retain his Intercontinental title and that Big Show and Kane will lose in their rematch against Michael McGuillicutty and David Otunga for the New Nexus’ WWE Tag Team Championships. Swagger then says that tonight, in the main event, he and Wade Barrett will team up for the second week in a row to take on and defeat Kane and the Big Show. Orton then rushes to the ring and strikes Swagger with an RKO, leaving the World Champion unconscious prior to tonight’s tag team main event.

Rating: A*

The Undertaker comes to the ring and says that at Wrestlemania he will defeat John Cena in the inter-promotional match and continue to be undefeated at Wrestlemania. For the second week in a row Rey Mysterio then interrupts The Undertaker and says that in his inter-promotional match against RAW’s William Regal he too will be victorious and prove that the high-flying wrestling style is just as effective as Regal’s traditional style.

Rating: A

The WWE Intercontinental Champion, Wade Barrett, comes to the ring. Barrett says that everything Swagger said earlier is right, as he will defeat both Dolph Ziggler and Ezekiel Jackson in the Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania to retain his Intercontinental title. Barrett says that Jack Swagger will also retain his World title in the main event of Wrestlemania against the winner of the Royal Rumble Randy Orton and that Big Show and Kane will fail to regain the WWE Tag Team Championships from David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. Barrett then says that he and Jack Swagger will defeat Kane and the Big Show in tonight’s tag team main event. Dolph Ziggler then comes to the ring and tells Barrett that he will be the one leaving Wrestlemania with the WWE Intercontinental Championship around his waist.

Rating: B

Christian comes to the ring and says that he is disappointed to not yet have a match at Wrestlemania this year with it only being two weeks away. Christian says that he beat Rob Conway last week and deserves a match at Wrestlemania. Alberto Del Rio then drives to the ring in a custom Mercedes-Benz and tells Christian that he beat his best friend Edge two weeks ago, and made Kofi Kingston tap out last week. Del Rio officially challenges Christian to a match at Wrestlemania and Christian accepts.

Rating: B

Ezekiel Jackson comes to the ring and says that he would like to get a few things off of his chest. Jackson says that he doesn’t really care who wins the World title match between the Champion Jack Swagger and the Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton in the main event of Wrestlemania. Jackson says that he also doesn’t care who wins the WWE Tag Team Championship match at Wrestlemania with Kane and the Big Show challenging the reigning Champions David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. Jackson also says he doesn’t care who wins tonight’s main event as Swagger and Barrett team up to take on Big Show and Kane. All Jackson does care about is defeating the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler in the Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Before Jackson can say anything else Ziggler rushes to the ring and hits Jackson with a kick to the groin before turning Jackson around and striking with the Zig-Zag, leaving Jackson in pain in the centre of the ring, wounded.

Rating: B

Kelly Kelly then comes to the ring following a commercial break and says that at Wrestlemania she will challenge for Natalya’s WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match also involving Maryse, whom Kelly does not get along with. Before Kelly can say anything she is attacked from behind by Michelle McCool for the second week in a row. McCool hits the Faith-Breaker on Kelly out of jealousy and leaves her lying in the centre of the ring in pain.

Rating: C-

Kane comes to the ring and says that a lot of people seem to be talking about the Championship matches at Wrestlemania. Kane says that he, just as Ezekiel Jackson said earlier, does not care about matches that don’t involve him. Kane does not care who wins the World Championship match between the Champion Swagger and the Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton in the main event of Wrestlemania, and doesn’t care who wins the Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat match featuring Champion Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson and Dolph Ziggler either. Kane says that he and the Big Show are focused on winning back the WWE Tag Team Championships from the New Nexus of Michael McGuillicutty and David Otunga at Wrestlemania, and will prove they are ready by defeating Swagger and Barrett in tonight’s tag team main event. However before Kane can say anything else Jack Swagger rushes to the ring and strikes Kane in the skull with the World Championship title belt, leaving him knocked out before tonight’s tag team main event.

Rating: B+

Kofi Kingston comes to the ring and says that he is disappointed not to be having a match at this year’s Wrestlemania. However before Kingston can say anything else Drew McIntyre slowly walks down the entrance-ramp with a microphone in hand. McIntyre says that at Wrestlemania he will prove that he is the chosen one by defeating RAW’s John Morrison in an inter-promotional match. McIntyre then says that he is going to send a message to Morrison tonight, and proceeds to enter the ring and strike Kingston in the skull with the microphone, leaving him in pain and a clear message having been sent to RAW’s John Morrison prior to their inter-promotional contest at Wrestlemania.

Rating: C+

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and says that last week on SmackDown! he was left off of the show, whereas Edge was given an easy match against Rob Conway. Rhodes says that it’s a travesty that not only is he left off of the Wrestlemania card but that he isn’t being given matches on SmackDown! Rhodes says that Edge is irrelevant since losing the World title to Jack Swagger at the Royal Rumble, and will never be Champion again. Edge then comes to the ring and tells Rhodes that he promises that he will one day become World Champion again.

Rating: C+

Kaitlyn comes to the ring and says that it was unfair of Michelle McCool to attack her good friend Kelly Kelly earlier tonight, and that she hopes Kelly will be able to recover in time to win the Divas title in the Triple Threat match with Champion Natalya and Maryse at Wrestlemania. Layla then comes to the ring and says that Kelly deserved everything she got, and she and McCool are fed up of being overlooked on SmackDown! Layla then kicks Kaitlyn in the skull and smiles before leaving Kaitlyn alone seemingly unconscious in the centre of the ring.

Rating: D

Trent Barreta versus Rob Conway

In an extremely short match, Trent Barreta defeated Rob Conway in 1:37 by pinfall with a Tornado DDT.

Match Rating: D

Finlay versus Claudio Castagnoli

In an extremely short match, Finlay defeated Claudio Castagnoli in 1:01 by pinfall with a Celtic Cross.

Match Rating: C

JTG versus Curt Hawkins

In an extremely short match, JTG defeated Curt Hawkins in 1:05 by pinfall with a Spinning Headlock Drop.

Match Rating: C-

World Champion Swagger & Intercontinental Champion Barrett vs. Show & Kane

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett defeated Big Show and Kane in 17:40 when Jack Swagger defeated Big Show by submission with an Ankle Lock after blatantly cheating.

Match Rating: B

Post-Show: OJ Delirious versus Ianshoku Dieno

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, O.J. Delirious defeated Ianshoku Dieno in 18:04 by submission with a Cobra Stretch.

Match Rating: F

Final Show Rating: B-

I'm sorry but I'm back with some more constructive criticism.

I can't help but notice that every show is exactly the same. You have 6/7 in ring segments all pretty much exactly the same. Person 1 comes to the ring and says they will win at the Rumble before being attacked by their opponent in that match. Person 2 comes to ring and says they will win at the rumble before being attacked by their opponent for that match. Person 3... repeat to fade.

Then you have all the matches at the top end of the show with no segments between them. There is just absolutely no flow to any episode and it just isn't in the slightest bit realistic.

There are 10 segments at the start of Smackdown, all saying pretty much the same thing, 6 of which end with the superstar making the promo being knocked down by their rival.

There is just absolutely no creativity, realism or anything.

I'm not saying any of this to be a jerk, I'm just giving my opinion, and hopefully you will use it to improve your dynasties and your writing.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from the TX Austin Convention Center, 3,150 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Eve versus Nikki Bella

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Eve defeated Nikki Bella in 18:25 by pinfall with a Moonsault.

Match Rating: D-

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan versus Alex Riley

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Daniel Bryan defeated Alex Riley in 8:17 by submission with an Omoplata Crossface.

Match Rating: B

Following the conclusion of the match Daniel Bryan celebrates before heading to the back to no doubt prepare for his United States Championship defence against Primo this Sunday at Wrestlemania. Alex Riley remains in the ring disappointed with himself following the loss, before his mentor, the WWE Champion The Miz comes to console him in the ring. However, Riley seems to be uninterested in what The Miz has to say to him and leaves the ring and heads to the back. The Miz then takes a microphone and says that for the last four weeks he has defended the WWE Championship on RAW, defeating John Morrison, Mark Henry, David Hart Smith and Goldust in the process. The Miz says that tonight on RAW he makes his final title defence before Wrestlemania as he will defend the title tonight against Santino Marella. Miz says that he will defeat Santino tonight and go on to defend the title against the leader of the New Nexus, CM Punk, this Sunday at Wrestlemania. Miz then says that as CM Punk is going to be in action next against Goldust he is going to remain at ringside to scout his opponent this Sunday at Wrestlemania.

Rating: A

Goldust versus CM Punk

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, CM Punk defeated Goldust in 8:11 by pinfall with a Go to Sleep.

Match Rating: B+

John Morrison comes to the ring and proclaims that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he will defeat SmackDown!’s Drew McIntyre in their inter-promotional match. Before Morrison can say anything else however John Cena comes to the ring. Cena says that he is also going to be victorious for RAW in his inter-promotional match this Sunday at Wrestlemania when he faces The Undertaker, and promises to end The Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak at Wrestlemania in the process. Cena says that he and Morrison will represent RAW well this Sunday, but he does not feel confident about the New Nexus of David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty’s chances in their WWE Tag Team Championship defence against the SmackDown! pairing of Kane and the Big Show.

Rating: B

The WWE Divas Champion Natalya comes to the ring and says that this Sunday at Wrestlemania she will successfully defend her title against both Maryse and Kelly Kelly in a Triple Threat match. For the third week in a row Brie Bella then comes to the ring and distracts Natalya allowing Maryse to rush into the ring and hit Natalya with a DDT, severely weakening her prior to the Triple Threat match for her WWE Divas Championship this Sunday at Wrestlemania.

Rating: C

R-Truth versus Primo

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Primo defeated R-Truth in 7:46 by pinfall with a Flying Headbutt.

Match Rating: B-

David Hart Smith versus William Regal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, William Regal defeated David Hart Smith in 7:31 by submission with a Regal Stretch.

Match Rating: C

Gail Kim comes to the ring and says that he will be watching the Divas Championship Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania this Sunday very closely as Natalya defends her title against both Maryse and Kelly Kelly. However before Gail can say anything else Mark Henry comes to the ring. Henry says that he knows that Gail and Daniel Bryan have recently split up with Daniel Bryan wanting to focus on retaining his United States Championship this Sunday at Wrestlemania, but Henry does not have a match at Wrestlemania to focus on. Mark Henry asks Gail out on a date this Sunday, and Gail Kim accepts and the pair hug in the ring.

Rating: C+

Vladimir Kozlov versus Sheamus

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Sheamus defeated Vladimir Kozlov in 7:33 by pinfall with a Crucifix Powerbomb.

Match Rating: C+

The New Nexus pairing of Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel come to the ring and Slater retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Slater says that this Sunday at Wrestlemania David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty will retain their WWE Tag Team Championships against Kane and the Big Show and CM Punk will win the WWE Championship from either The Miz or Santino Marella, depending on who wins tonight’s main event for the WWE Championship currently held by The Miz. Slater therefore says that Sunday will be a good night for the New Nexus, and even though he and Gabriel don’t have a match at Wrestlemania, them being in the New Nexus and associated with CM Punk proves that they aren’t merely losers like Evan Bourne and Yoshi Tatsu, who will both never amount to anything.

Rating: C

WWE Championship: The Miz © versus Santino Marella

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, The Miz defeated Santino Marella in 7:59 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz makes defence number 5 of his WWE Championship title.

Match Rating: B

Following the conclusion of the Championship match The Miz leaves the ring with his WWE Championship and heads to the back, knowing that he will now go on to defend the title against the leader of the New Nexus CM Punk at Wrestlemania after surviving the Anonymous General Manager’s gauntlet of four Championship matches in four weeks on RAW. As Santino Marella gets to his feet in the ring the New Nexus of CM Punk, the WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty, and Husky Harris rush to the ring. Harris hits Santino with a clothesline and all four New Nexus members then begin to stomp on Santino Marella. Santino’s tag team partner, Vladimir Kozlov, rushes to the ring in aid of his friend but he too is hit with a clothesline from Husky Harris. John Cena then rushes to the ring in aid of Santino but he is attacked by Otunga and McGuillicutty. As Kozlov and Cena are restrained, CM Punk lifts Santino on his shoulders as if to hit him with the Go To Sleep, before The Miz shockingly runs to the ring to help Santino. The Miz, John Cena and Vladimir Kozlov then all chase The New Nexus out of the ring and Kozlov and Cena help Santino to his feet. The Miz then stares down CM Punk on the outside of the ring before the pair clash for The Miz’s WWE Championship this Sunday at Wrestlemania, just six days away.

Rating: B+

Post-Show: Evan Bourne versus Ted DiBiase

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ted DiBiase defeated Evan Bourne in 18:04 by pinfall with a Dream Street.

Match Rating: D+
