WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from the BC Queen’s Park Arena, 3,418 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Ezekiel Jackson versus Eddie Kingston

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ezekiel Jackson defeated Eddie Kingston in 18:24 by pinfall with an Uranage.

Match Rating: E

SmackDown! begins with Kofi Kingston making his way to the ring. Kingston says that he will defeat Wade Barrett at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View to become the new Intercontinental Champion, and that he will get revenge on Barrett for attacking him last week. Then, for the second week in a row, Barrett rushes to the ring and hits Kingston over the skull with the Intercontinental Championship title belt, leaving him lying in the ring in agony just like the week before.

Rating: B+

The World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger comes to the ring. Swagger says that he will win the SmackDown! Elimination Chamber match against Alberto Del Rio, Edge, The Undertaker, God and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to retain his title. Del Rio then join Swagger in the ring and says that even though they will be opponents in the Elimination Chamber, him and Swagger will work together to defeat The Undertaker and Edge in tonight’s tag team main event.

Rating: B+

Drew McIntyre comes to the ring and says that he will defeat the winner of the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton, at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Orton then rushes to the ring and hits McIntyre with an RKO, getting some revenge on McIntyre for the attack last week and building momentum heading into his match with McIntyre at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, leaving McIntyre lying alone on the mat.

Rating: B+

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and declares that after he defeated God last night on Superstars he is the favourite to win the Elimination Chamber match for Jack Swagger’s World Championship also featuring God, The Undertaker, Edge and Alberto Del Rio. God then joins Rhodes in the ring and says that even though Rhodes got the win last night on Superstars, God will be the one getting the win and the World Heavyweight Championship at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View.

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kane, comes to the ring. Kane says that he and his partner the Big Show will defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View and retain their titles. Dolph Ziggler then comes to the ring and says that he is disappointed in himself for losing to the Big Show last week and now has his sights set on regaining the Intercontinental Championship that he never received his rematch for after losing it at the Royal Rumble. Ziggler says that he will be picking on the biggest dogs on SmackDown! until he gets his deserved rematch. Ziggler announces that he will be facing Ezekiel Jackson at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View and is going to send a message to Jackson tonight. Ziggler then hits Kane in the skull with the microphone and proceeds to continue to bash Kane in the head, before finally getting off him and leaving Kane in pain in the centre of the ring.

Rating: C+

As Dolph Ziggler looks to continue to proceed with the attack on Kane, trying to send a message to Ezekiel Jackson before their match at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, he is soon stopped in his tracks by Kane’s tag team partner the Big Show. Big Show chases Ziggler out of the ring, before helping his fellow WWE Tag Team Champion to his feet. Big Show picks up the microphone and says that this will not stop he and Kane from retaining their titles successfully against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View.

Just as what happened last week, Layla and Michelle McCool then begin to attack the trio, and they throw Kelly and Kaitlyn out of the ring and stomp on Beth Phoenix. Vickie Guerrero then joins her LayCool associates in the ring and hits a Frog Splash on Beth Phoenix. Vickie then takes a microphone from ringside and announces that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View she will team with Michelle McCool and Layla to take on the team of Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly and Kaitlyn in a six-diva Tag Team match.

I don't know Desters, you are playing this diary pretty straight forward this time and you still manage to get a three star rating. I think it is time for Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Lopez to join the diary and have them wrestle a goat.:p
