Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs Rip Oliver (Ladder Match) [NWA Pacific Northwest Championship Bout]

Well I do think it is a risk putting the title on Superfly because you never know when he will be poached. That being said I do believe the change needs to be made because Rip is just not doing it for you as the champion.

Co-Main Event: Buddy Rose vs Sgt. Slaughter (2 out of 3 Falls, Loser Leaves Town match)

Sarge's tour of duty did not last long. I think this is the way to go even if it was not a Loser Leaves Town match because it sets Buddy up as the number one contender of the belt. Plus Sarge could always come back with a mask on...

Match #1: Colonel DeBeers vs The Grappler

Match #2: Brett Sawyer vs Buzz Sawyer (Alley Fight match)

Match #3: Sheepherders vs Earthquake Ferris & Bam Bam Bigelow [NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship Bout]

Match #6: Cocoa Somoa vs Super Ninja [NWA Pacific Northwest Television Championship bout]

Match #7: Southern Rockers vs Indian War Party

Brady Boone = King of WCW jobbers. Maybe you should bring in Ranger Ross as well...

Match #2: Brett Sawyer vs Buzz Sawyer (Alley Fight match)

Draw with finish were both guys disable each others by going trough a table or something similar.

How can a street fight end in a draw?

Match #4: Matt Borne vs Archangel

Why not? Archangels winning streak has to end at one point and Borne seems to be able to do just that.

These two will be having a fun feud. The storyline will be great and nothing PNW has never seen before. If Beetlejuice could get over with the PNW crowd, this will work too.

Match #7: Southern Rockers vs Indian War Party

Has either of the War Party guys got a single win yet?

No they have not won anything. Billy Two Eagles just sign for another year too.

At this point it damned if I do, damned if I don't with the heavyweight title.

Why does everyone think it's Sarge that's leaving? Rose was very big during his run in the WWF during the early 80's.

That's funny. Scary thing is I still remember Ranger Ross as well.

Yes but Rose's tenure was well...terrible. The whole fat cream thing was just bad.:D

If Ranger Ross is free bring him in so he can stink up the Pacific Nortwest just as much as he did the old NWA.:D I heard a story where he went psycho out in the woods in North Carolina. It was like a real life Rambo type situation, now I do not believe it but it is still funny.

Good question, I actually didn´t look at the match type:o. Though maybe it´s still possible if both guys are simply unable to continue because they have both been passed out (You know, like two guys fighting on the ramp and slipping over the ramp´s edge and falling right through some tables or other equipment that just 'happens' to be there)?

Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs Rip Oliver (Ladder Match) [NWA Pacific Northwest Championship Bout]

A Snuka title reign might raise the excitement level a bit. Rip Oliver has looked "ripped" as in hitting the bottle too much in his recent matches. Plus you can have Rose (if he stays) or Debeers waiting in the wings to take the strap away if Snuka bolts to WWF

Co-Main Event: Buddy Rose vs Sgt. Slaughter (2 out of 3 Falls, Loser Leaves Town match)

Changing the face of PNW forever almost implies Rose to be the one who leaves; however, for your sake I hope he stays since he's been gold for you.

Match #1: Colonel DeBeers vs The Grappler

at first I wanted Grappler to win, but since I'm going with a main event title change I think the other Army members will win their matches. Grappler can be a big star for you, so don't let him get lost in the shuffle. (in another version, he teams with American Ninja to form a team called Wrecking Crew)

Match #2: Brett Sawyer vs Buzz Sawyer (Alley Fight match)

if there is a way to end in a no contest, I would expect that.

in fact based on my next wild prediction - I would have Sheepherders come out and destroy both men - furious at their title loss and putting the world on notice of things to come until they get their belts back.

Match #3: Sheepherders vs Earthquake Ferris & Bam Bam Bigelow [NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship Bout]

Dutch Savage proves to the difference maker here. Sheeps caught him off-guard last time as a mystery team, but now he's had time to study them and get his team ready. Quake and Bigelow ("shake and bake" is my name for them) are able to do the same here. After some defenses against Latins, and some Sheepherder destruction, I can see the titles going back - but who knows the future yet

Match #4: Matt Borne vs Archangel

based on your pre-match comments, could Doink the Clown be too far away? Be Afraid....be very afraid.

Match #5: Latin Connection vs S & S Express

I like Simpsons, but Latins are the stronger team

Match #6: Cocoa Somoa vs Super Ninja [NWA Pacific Northwest Television Championship bout]

no real build for ninja and Samoa is turning in some decent matches so far. Think he has a way to go

Match #7: Southern Rockers vs Indian War Party

rise of the Rockers continues

Dark Match #1: Mike Miller vs Brady Boone

Burning Fury has slumped of late - but see Boone snapping out of that - getting a couple wins then going after the tv title.

Dark Match #2: Bruise Brothers vs Curtis Thompson & Rex King

time for the Bruisers to score a big win.

Match Notes The bout had an average heat and good action. Archangel and Matt Borne just forgot about the wrestling and went to a straight brawl against each other. Stiff shots by both wrestlers got some ohhhh's from the crowd. Borne had Archangel tied up in the ropes and just started pounding on him. Ferris got caught with the Double Gutbuster, allowing the Sheepherders to pick up the victory. Still NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions Sheepherders with their 3rd defense.

Slaughter up 1-0. After one minute of rest, the two went at it once more. Slaughter took control early, as Rose did not have enough time to recover from the Cobra Clutch. Slaughter went for the Cobra Clutch once again but this time Rose was prepared and got a small package on Slaughter. Rose used the extra leverage of the ropes to keep Slaughter down and to get the second fall. Match tied at 1 fall apiece. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RipOliver.jpg Rip Oliver v. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_JimmySnuka2-1.jpg Jimmy Snuka

Oliver was in defense mode at the beginning of the match. Snuka went for the ladder early which turn out to be a big mistake as Oliver was able to hit Snuka with a suplex on the ladder. The carnage was just about the begin. The ladder was used as a battering ram, slamming each other on it and even throwing it at each other. Snuka was bleeding from is forehead, cover most of his face. Oliver also had a crimson mask and was cut on his arm. The ladder eventually finds it's way into the ring when Oliver tried to climb it but Snuka pushed him off. At the end Oliver and Snuka was climbing the ladder at the same time, on the same side. Snuka climb the top of the ladder, the ladder was wobbling but Snuka still hit the Superfly Splash from the top of the ladder. Snuka slowly climbed the top of the ladder and retrieved the belt. Jimmy Snuka has become the new NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion.

Winner by pinfall…. Jimmy Snuka at the 21:40 mark.

(57)

Overall (55)

Show Notes:

A good show I thought. The fans went home happy with Snuka winning the championship belt. Best show overall in my short history of running the promotion.

Kayfabe Information:

I thought it was time for Snuka to take the gold. Oliver was not doing a good job as the top man in the promotion.

Sgt. Slaughter has signed with the WWF. He will still be around for another two weeks but that was the last anyone will hear from him. It really sucks because Rose and Slaughter really had a great thing going too.

The Sawyer brothers are gone as well. Brett Sawyer has improved his backstage problems but will leave for Japan. I may or not may bring him back. Buzz Sawyer is leaving because started a fight with Don Coss. How stupid is that. What is Don Coss, 120 pounds. I believe drugs are the problem with Buzz right now.

Earthquake Ferris and Bam Bam Bigelow will the team. They work well together and have a feud going as well. Now I just need a name. (Shake and Bake does not work for me, sorry Olympia)

Percy Pringle was not there for Matt Borne tonight as that was my fault in scheduling the show. I did not see he was working with another promotion at the time. The two wrestlers and the woman are Thunder (Brian Adams – I changed my mind about doing him as Atom Bomb) and Lightning (Art Barr – Needed a nice quick guy to balance out Thunder) and the woman is Dark Journey. Pringle will be bringing in his own guys to team with Matt Borne. All of these guys I believe could be the future of the PNW promotion or close to hit.

Don Owen Classic will a tournament event for the new NWA Pacific Heavyweight Championship and the first ever Don Owen Trophy. 8 wrestlers will be chosen, so it will take three matches to win the Belt and the Trophy. Also the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship Belt will be on the line. There will also be another special announcement as well.

Please let me know what you think about the shows.

Thank you for reading.

Great show!

Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs John Nord [NWA Pacific Northwest Championship Bout]

Match #1: Al Madril vs Bam Bam Bigelow

I think it is a spilt between the two partners. One man from both teams will win one match. I think that Bam Bam is the more over of the two therefore he will win this match and Ricky will beat Earthquake.

Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs John Nord [NWA Pacific Northwest Championship Bout]

Snuka isn´t dropping he´s belt on first defense.

Match #1: Al Madril vs Bam Bam Bigelow

Match #2: Ricky Santana vs Earthquake Ferris

I agree with BHK1978 about the 1-1 split but I give Ferris the win since he has been here longer.

Match #3: Matt Borne vs Archangel

Borne has lost twice now so he needs to win this one or this will be rather one sided feud.

Match #4: Southern Rockers vs Carl Styles & Curtis Thompson

Named team over random pairing

Dark Match #1: Mike Miller vs Super Ninja

Miller beated Boone so I give him a nob over Ninja as well

Dark Match #2: Nick Kiniski vs Brady Boone

Haven´t see much from Kiniski yet, so I have no idea what to expect from him.

Precy Pringle: The battle is not over Archangel. I have no clue who would want to join you side but tonight you will be crushed. You were suppose to face Matt here one on one once again but instead it will be a 3 on 3 match with you and your two love birds versus Matt here and two wrestlers that I recruited last week. You will be crushed Archangel. Be afraid Archangel. Be afraid.

Match Notes: The match had an average crowd and decent in-ring action. Borne walks out with Percy Pringle who introduces Crusher (Jerry Blackwell) and Golga (John Tenta). The bigger wrestlers started out using there weight to get a great advantage but the speed of Archangel, Thunder and Lightning got them to make a comeback. Pringle took something out of his hat and gave it to Borne. Borne was tag in and hit Lightning will a shot to the forehead. Lightning lay on the mat, will Borne got the pin.

Winner by Pinfall….. Matt Borne, Crusher & Golga at the 6:46 mark.

Match Notes: The match had an average crowd and decent in-ring action. Ricky Santana and Earthquake Ferris just did not click very well. Somoa interfered in the match allowing Santana to hit the Santana Slam for the victory.

Jimmy Snuka Interview

Jimmy Snuka: For I have won this title before but this means more to me then anything that I have accomplished in my life. The great gods pulled my beaten body off the ground and helped my climb that ladder into pits of the great Maugu Mu. I reached my hand into that inferno and became the au manumalo.

Buddy Rose: You have a chance of winning the Heavyweight title tonight Nord. Let's bring the title back to the family and not some outsider who thinks he's better then everyone. He can talk about his gods but when we are done with him, he will be beg for his gods to bring him mercy.

Match Notes: The match had a good crowd and decent in-ring action. John Nord tried to use his size to defeat Jimmy Snuka but Snuka was just to quick for him. Nord did slow Snuka with a big splash in the corner but it was short lived as Snuka was still able to hit the Superfly Splash for the victory.

Winner by Pinfall….. Jimmy Snuka at the mark.

Overall (45)

Show Notes:

A very flat show overall. Trying to figure out the next move with Sgt. Slaughter leaving. Jimmy Snuka gets his first championship defense and will be moving on into his next feud after the Don Owen Classic.

Kayfabe Information:

Earthquake Ferris and Bam Bam Bigelow are in the middle of nice feud with the Latin Connection. It will be a good chance to see which wrestlers can move up into the next level and challenge for the Championship belt.

Thunder & Lightning are a team and will be working Archangel. Dark Journey will be the mouth piece as I will not have anyone speaking on the team.

Crusher who is Jerry Blackwell is a big wrestlers who can do some special things in the ring. Think almost at the level of Vader in the early 90's but with a slightly bigger wrestler. Avalanche is John Tenta (Earthquake). I loved the Earthquake gimmick he used when I was a child but I thought with Earthquake Ferris on the roster it would be a dumb thing to use Earthquake as well, so I went with the Avalanche instead. Avalanche and Crusher will be another team added to the mix of tag teams on the roster. Percy Pringle is the perfect manager to led these massive men.

I have one more tag team coming into the promotion that will challenge the champions has I need a strong face team.

Several more wrestlers are coming in and will debut soon.

Please let me know what you think about the shows.

Thank you for reading.

Jerry Blackwell = awesome!

Main Event: Buddy Rose vs Mystery Wrestler

I know everyone will tell you on this site that the Mystery Wrestler always wins. However, I just do not see that as being the case right here.

Match #1: Rip Oliver vs The Grappler

Match #2: Cocoa Somoa vs Bam Bam Bigelow (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title)

Match #3: Thunder & Lightning vs Crusher & Avalanche

Dark Match #1: Scott Peterson vs Don Running Bear

Dark Match #2: Burning Fury vs Bruise Brothers

I am thinking the Bruise Brothers are a little further down the food chain.

Main Event: Buddy Rose vs Mystery Wrestler

Mystery wrestler is always a good bet but with Snuka as a champ you need a heel challenger and Buddy is one of the best options you have.

Match #1: Rip Oliver vs The Grappler

Grappler is little bit lost in a shuffle right now so Oliver takes the win.

Match #2: Cocoa Somoa vs Bam Bam Bigelow (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title)

Could go either way but it´s little bit early for Somoa to drop the title.

Match #3: Thunder & Lightning vs Crusher & Avalanche

I would usually go with Crusher & Avalanche but they won the last match so I assume this will go another way in order to keep things even between the two groups.

Dark Match #1: Scott Peterson vs Don Running Bear

War Party = Jobbers

Dark Match #2: Burning Fury vs Bruise Brothers

Fury is more established team.

Main Event: Buddy Rose vs Mystery Wrestler

I CONCUR - Rose gives someone a rude welcome to the PNW

Match #1: Rip Oliver vs The Grappler

Grappler could use a big win to become relevant again -- could always bring in Grappler #2 (Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony) if you are looking for an extra tag team. Oliver can be in a mini-slump after dropping the title then bounce back when the Army finds a new feud to get involved in.

Match #2: Cocoa Somoa vs Bam Bam Bigelow (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title)

title change - and here's my logic. The Army needs to regroup after losing the title to Snuka. They need fresh new opponents to sink into a new hot feud with. Ferris and Bigelow could fit that mold nicely. Some tag team matches and even Nord could challenge for the tv title. One of the main members could win it to add some shine to the belt, hoping to use it as a springboard. Ferris and Bigelow could gain some repuation too by going against the top stars and looking good (even if in ultimate defeat)

Match #3: Thunder & Lightning vs Crusher & Avalanche

Snuka needs new challengers - Juggernaunts could fit that bill nicely!! Snuka would be underdogs agains the giants, but his speed and stamina could prove to be the difference.

Dark Match #1: Scott Peterson vs Don Running Bear

Dark Match #2: Burning Fury vs Bruise Brothers

Harris boys have a ways to go and this match should help in their prep

Don Owen Segment

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_DonOwen.jpg

Don Owen: I have a very special announcement tonight, as the Don Owen Classic tomorrow night will be my last show. I have decided to retire from the world of professional wrestling. I have been apart of the wrestling business my whole life and I have always said that I would stop if my heart was not in it anymore. I have made many different memories and I love everyone you great fans that support this great wrestling promotion. It is a great honor that to announce the participants in the first ever Don Owen Classic tournament. I will picking names out of this bingo ball cage and that wrestlers name on the ball will put them into the tournament. Well the first to be part of the tournament will be one of the newest wrestlers but old favorite is Ricky Vaughn. He will be facing Colonel DeBeers. The next name is Matt Borne and he will be facing Super Ninja. One of the newest wrestlers as well but once again another ex-champion Bobby Jaggers will be facing the newest member to the PNW Tommy Rogers. The final two are The Grappler versus Steve Doll. Also Rip Oliver and Jimmy Snuka will have there last great battle but this time in a cage for the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship. I hope I see each and everyone of you tomorrow night that looks to be memorable moment in the history of the PNW. Thank you and good night.

Match Notes The match had an average crowd and decent in-ring action. The Juggernauts used the massive weight to their advantage during the match.. Lightning got caught in wrong corner and just got smashed. Thunder came in off the hot tag and had Crusher and Avalanche on the ropes until Percy Pringle jumped the apron to distract Thunder. It worked as Thunder walked into the Crush and Bury (Powerslam from Crusher to a Standing Senton Splash from Avalanche).

Cocoa Somoa was able to use some dirty tricks to keep Bam Bam Bigelow off balance. Bam Bam was able to start the comeback, which got Al Madril to come down to ringside. Madril went to hit Bam Bam but hit Somoa instead allowing Bam Bam to hit the Powerbomb and pick up the victory. The new NWA Pacific Northwest Television has been crowd in Bam Bam Bigelow.

Buddy Rose Interview

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_BuddyRose2.jpg

Buddy Rose: I have no clue why your back Ricky Vaughn but you picked the wrong night to face me. After seeing Rip Oliver lose the the heavyweight title, it has put us in The Army in a very bad mood. I will send you right back to Texas after I'm done with you tonight.

Match #3

Match Notes The match had average heat and solid in-ring action. Rip Oliver was really off his game tonight, as he just has not been the same since losing the title. It looked as if Oliver's funk would cost him the match but John Nord came down and hit The Grappler with the piledriver, allowing Oliver to pick up the victory.

Winner by Pinfall….. Rip Oliver at the 8:26 mark.

Ricky Vaughn Interview

Show Notes:

Once again another flat show. Rose right now is on fire and getting Ricky Vaughn to almost a 50 match is a miracle in my mind.

Kayfabe Information:

Don Owen has retired and his last day is really the next show. He will no longer be the owner as well, so it should be interesting to see who will be taken over the promotion. I thought doing the Don Owen Classic would be the best way to see the legend leave the business.

Please let me know what you think about the shows.

Thank you for reading.

Yes I am picking the two new guys to be in the finals. I figured they have both already made a name for themselves in PNW before so this seems to be right.

Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs Rip Oliver (Cage Match) [NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship Match]

Oliver just lost the title so he isn´t getting it back.

Co-Main Event: Ricky Vaughn vs. Bobby Jaggers

Coin flip for me since I don´t know much about either guy. I simply go with the heel based on the fact that current champ is face and winning a tournament could well lead into a title shot.

Match #1:Bobby Jaggers vs. The Grappler

Again I just need heel do advance here and Grappler haven´t done anything important lately anyway.

Match #2:Ricky Vaughn vs. Matt Borne

Borne is midcard guy and that just isn´t enough against Vaughn.

Match #3: The Grappler vs Steve Doll

Grappler has been little lost lately but he´s still main event guy so he should be able to get into next round.

Match #4: Bobby Jaggers vs Tommy Rogers

Needed heel to advance here in order to make heel vs. face match-up

Match #5: Matt Borne vs Super Ninja

Borne has more going on.

Match #6: Ricky Vaughn vs Colonel DeBeers

Vaughn is main eventer and I picked Borne on the other match so face needs to go forward here

Dark Match #1: Thunder & Lightning vs Bruise Brothers

Thunder & Lightning need to get a win here after two losses.

Dark Match #2: Southern Rockers vs S & S Express

S & S Express seems to be jobbers at this point.

Main Event: Jimmy Snuka vs Rip Oliver (Cage Match) [NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship Match]

Super highrisk Death Leap off the top of the cage for the win

Co-Main Event: Tournament Finals

I pick Grappler to defeat Col Debeers in a hotly contested finals. he is a main event star and being the inaugral Don Owen Classic winner would be a nice feather in his cap - plus beating Army member Debeers in the match sets him for a nice program over the next few weeks as Rose, Oliver, and Nord come after him and his new trophy. Maybe he can join forces with Vaughn or ??? in the battles against them

Match #1: Tournament Semi-Finals Match #1

Grappler to defeat Jaggers

Match #2: Tournament Semi-Finals Match #2

Debeers over Ninja

Match #3: The Grappler vs Steve Doll

Match #4: Bobby Jaggers vs Tommy Rogers

Can Dirty Dutch be far behind? Jaggers is a better singles wrestler that Rogers

Match #5: Matt Borne vs Super Ninja

Ninja could use the win here - and to keep the heel-face ration

Match #6: Ricky Vaughn vs Colonel DeBeers

going against the grain with this pick - but Debeers is part of the Army which is the elite group in PNW right now. Would not expect them to be eliminated in the first round. Pseudo Von Erich takes another L.

Dark Match #1: Thunder & Lightning vs Bruise Brothers

almost a coin toss here as both teams are looking to buy a win.

Dark Match #2: Southern Rockers vs S & S Express

Other than the Superstar Extravaganza (or 60th anniversary show), the PNW did not really have any named shows, so adding an annual Don Owen classic is a nice touch. Are you planning to add a trophy for it in your titles section?

Don Owen: It is a great honor to come out here and talk with you great fans for the last time. This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but your warm welcome and support for this great promotion makes me believe this will be the right choice. The PNW will be great hands when one of my trusted friends in Sandy Barr will be taken over the everyday duties. Big changes are coming to the PNW and I'm very exciting to see the new direction that the PNW will be headed into too. Enjoy this wonderful show.

Sandy Barr Interview

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_SandyBarr.jpg

Dark Journey: Not a problem. He will be here, you better have your guy ready.

Show Notes:

A good show for a tournament style type show.

Kayfabe Information:

Sandy Barr has become the new owner of PNW and no I will not be using him in angles and interviews like I did with Don Owen. He is horrible on the mic. With the new owner, a new look as come to the PNW. I love how Sandy Barr takes over and the number goal is to get Art Barr (Lightning) higher up the card.

I keep going back and forth on who would win the tournament. I had everyone from Steve Doll to Ricky Vaughn winning but I settled on The Grappler, has he just made more since with the things I have planned. With such a heavy HEEL promotion, I have three out of the four belts with a FACE holding them.

Jimmy Snuka will move onto his next feud and it should be good as both wrestlers are hot right now.

It is sad with Don Owen gone but he will be remember every year with the Don Owen Classic being part of the promotion. The Don Owen Trophy will be given out every year in the show.

The Sheepherders have been a little lost in the shuffle but that will change as has I have a good amount of Tag Teams now.

I would also like to give a very big thank you to ThatChizzle for providing the new PNW logo and the Don Owen Classic Event Logo. Thank you once again.

Please let me know what you think about the shows.

Thank you for reading.

Main Event: The Grappler vs Colonel DeBeers (NWA Pacific Title)

Grappler jsut won the title so he isn´t losing it yet.

Match #1: The Sheepherders vs The Fantastics (Tag Team Title)

The Fantastics are probably the team who I would expect to get the title next but I don´t think it happens yet.

Match #2: Bam Bam Bigelow vs Al Madril (Television Title)

Too early for Bigelow to lose the title

Match #3: Archangel vs Crusher

Archangel has to lose eventually but it probably happens against Borne instead of Crusher as Borne seems to be the main guy on his stable or that´s at least the impression I got so far.

Dark Match #1: Thunder & Lightning vs Mike Miller and Abbuba Dein

Owner goal says push Art Barr so might as well give him a win here as it´s not like Miller or Dein are doing anything important right now.

Dark Match #2: Southern Rockers vs Burning Fury

I could see this one going either way but Doll seems to be the highest ranked guy here.

Enjoyed the card. Made sense that a fan favorite like Grappler would win the trophy - also someone with his legacy and respect should make the trophy more valuable for future events - then it can be used to put over an up and comer (like Doll)., solid job!!
