OK, just wanted to get some thoughts on the way I was going to do the prediction contests.

 

 

Probably not the most original idea, but the plan is to let the winner of the prediction contest choose anyone they want for me to bring in and they will be in a “Fan’s Choice” match at the following pay per view. So basically the contest would run the span of 5 shows and when the winner is decided after the current pay per view, this one being Star, Stripes, and Slams, they would then pick who they would want me to bring in for the next pay per view (which for this contest would be Red, White, and Blue) to wrestle the fans choice match against an opponent that you can also choose if you wish, just as long they are not already wrestling. It can be any active wrestler so long as they are able to wrestle in the US, and are available for me to sign. If you want a tag team I can do that, and if you want me to bring in two or three people to wrestle a match all to themselves that’s fine also. I’m trying to give you guys as much freedom as possible to truly make it a “Fans Choice” match. Although please don’t ask me to sign a whole bunch of guys(or girls) to compete in a match, just for the sheer amount of contracts I would have to deal out. The main plain here is to only sign them to a one appearance short term contracts so if the next winner want to bring the same person or persons back I can, and so I don’t have to keep a bunch of people on the roster for the same reason. Also when the predictions for a ppvs with a fans match on it start, the fans match wont count for points just to keep things, for lack of a better word, fair.

 

If you win and you want to keep who you want to bring in a secret just pm me, and if you don’t care if everyone knows who it is just post it when the results of the current contest are tallied and said winner is chosen.

 

Anyway that is the plan. If I didn’t explain that as clearly as I thought I did and anyone has questions let me know, or if anyone doesn’t like this idea or has ways to improve upon it again just let me know.

However, in this instance, he picked a fight with the wrong person.</em></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong><em>I was talking to Sam in the hallway before the show was to start when suddenly all you could hear was Valentine and Redwood yelling profanities at one another. The argument ended about the time fists started getting thrown, and it took half the roster to separate the two. They argued again over who started it, but naturally Sam sided with </em></strong><strong><em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">his</span></em></strong><strong><em> buddy instead of his buddy's buddy. I swiftly took this as my chance to use Redwoods own political tactics against him, and persuaded Sam into releasing him, to which he agreed. A decision Sam's other buddy, Danny, and quite possibly Redwood's only real friend, did not take kindly to. Danny has yet to speak to me or Sam, and I would say it's only a matter of time before he asks for his release. An unfortunate turn of events that possibly ended a close friendship, but I had the opportunity to remove one of the most posinous men from the locker room and I was not about to let it slip away, and be forced to wait for him to screw up again, or two years for his contract to expire.</em></strong></p></div></blockquote>...</div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>OOC: If anyone else would like to make predictions I will probably go ahead and post the show tonight. The only real reason they were even in it was to get pinned, so the other losing team would stay strong. Jumbo and Nicky put on a solid match to open USPW’s first ever pay per view. Nicky looked well on his way to victory until a mystery man,

“Well Davis, I don’t know who that man was but I assure you that he wasn’t out there on behalf of the Sneer Corporation.”

 

“Well, nevertheless, because of the interference, Jumbo Jackson gets to keep his spot in the Sneer Corporation. My question is this Shane; are you going to follow through on your statement from the last American Wrestling and kick out anyone who loses their match tonight?”

 

“Now Davis, don’t get ahead of yourself.”

 

Before Shane can continue, however, Sam Strong walks up and puts his arm around Shane.

“Oh, Shane, Shane, Shane. Now I can’t let you make a promise to all of these great USPW fans and then have you back out now can I?”

“Shane, old pal, it makes no difference, because you still said it, and if you don’t keep your promise to all these fans, who paid good money to be here, as well as the fans watching at home, tonight will be your last show. Understand?”

 

“What are you saying, you’ll fire me?”

 

“That is exactly what I’m saying. Now why don’t you come with me and we will watch the rest of the show together.”

 

The smile Shane had to start the segment had completely disappeared as Sam practically had to drag him off the set.

A back and forth match that saw a lot of friction between the champions. It was all Freddie could do to finally get Des to tag into the match, but when he did he cleaned house, and added two more to the list of former Sneer Corp employees.

Johnny continues marching back and forth yelling until Jim cold clocks him to shut him up. Shaking his head, Jim turns and walks off the set with Johnny on his shoulder. It remains silent for a moment, and then.

Would anyone believe that T-Rex and James Justice put on one of the best matches in USPW history? Well it happened. These to put on one heck of a show that will be hard to top, Amazingly. Unfortunately, Shane loses another one.

Again we cut back to Sam’s office. Shane is sitting on the couch with a look of utter disbelief on his face at the fact that T-Rex just lost, is now out of the Sneer Corporation, and currently leaves only Jumbo Jackson and Tyson Baine in the group. The camera pans over to Sam who, apparently just to mock Shane, now has headphones on. Shane looks at Sam, and Sam looks back and starts humming

which immediately turns Shane’s look of disbelief into a look of anger.

Bruce The Giant vs. Chris Caulfield

I’m wishing now that I had made the last match the co-main and put this one in its place. It wasn’t bad by any means but the Rex vs. Justice match was definitely better. Chris does everything he can, even knocking Bruce off his feet a couple of times, but it wasn’t quite enough and Bruce gets the win.

As it turns out, the Rex vs. Justice match could, and was topped by this match. Although not by much. Enygma and Baine put on a heck of a show, and made USPW’s first every pay per view that much better. Tyson gave Enygma a run for his money but Enygma hits a beautiful Moonsault to put away the Demon from the Deep.

One last time the camera cuts to Sam’s office. Shane is practically in tears after the main event. Sam, laughing, stands up and turns to Shane.

A good showing for USPW’s first ever pay per view. We had a sellout show, and did .30 buys. I know it’s not to the level of TCW or SWF, but for our first outing it’s a solid number and one that we expected.

 

I spent the next couple days working on some contracts. Danny Rushmore and Anger’s started the final month of their contracts last week and I have no plans to extend them. Instead of downright jobbing them and letting them leave, I decided to let them run out the last days of their contracts on paid vacation, to give us two open roster spots. I also covinced Sam into letting The Hillbillys g. If they were ten years younger they might have been worth keeping. Fortunately, I already have a team in mind to replace them that fits the bill. They where the last contracts Sam said I was allowed to terminate however. He said from this point on, nobody leaves unless I let their contract expire, which is ok since at least a couple of the people I want gone don't have much time left on their deals anyway. In other news, Danny Jillefski did exactly what I expected him to do today. He went to Sam and asked for his release. Sam tried to convince him to stay, but apparently they couldn’t come to any sort of agreement and Danny was gone shortly thereafter. Our newly signed announcer, Davis Ditterich, will take over fulltime now. A role I was hoping to avoid putting him in so soon, but the situation couldn't be avoided.

 

In other non-contract related news, I had yet another run in with Seduction. She, yet again decided not to show up for her Road Agent meeting. I was a little more peeved at her than I was last time but I still took a fatherly approach. If she ends up in my office again it could seriously hinder her boyfriends chances of accomplishing anything in here since I know if I get rid of her, he will probably ask to join her.

 

This could probably fall under contract news but I figured it deserved its own story of sorts. I have been keeping in contact with a former SWF World Heavyweight Champion. His contract came up recently and from the looks of it, he seems on his way out of the company. I have tried for weeks to get him to sign with us, but he refuses to even look at a deal saying USPW is not big enough for him to consider. I hope that if TCW don’t sign the guy he will tone down his ego a bit and at least consider an offer. I certainly hope that will be the case, as he would be a great asset to us.
