The Lottery (4 Player Game Log) DerekB,Apu,Rathen,DMF

Recommended Posts

This thread is more of a log of our recently started 4 player game in which SWF and TCW were removed from the data, each player drafted 40 workers, and then all the workers were randomly lottery drawn off to each promotion. More about that in the start up thread. http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=509581

Backstory? Godzilla attacked the SWF and TCW headquarters. No, that didn't really happen, but it is a lot easier than explaining all the backwater deals and collusion between North America's two largest companies that forced them both out of business.

After this fallout, a group of four wrestling minded guys decided to get together and pool their money to create one super wrestling federation from the ashes. They didn't have much, but figured they could still start a small company. After a diner at a cheap diner went terribly between the partners, they all decided to go home. MegaFish had a confession however, he couldn't make it home without borrowing a little gas money. The partners each chipped in $5 to him. When MegaFish went to prepay for his gas, he used only $14 of the total amount. The last dollar was used to buy a solo lottery ticket.

Later that night, a very predictable(to you readers), and unlikely thing happened...MegaFish had the winning ticket, and that ticket paid out 10,000,000. Knowing that the ticket was bought using money from the four partners, DMF was able to get them together again the next day. Thinking it was a typical meeting about their small future promotion, the owners were again all at odds, until DMF had announced that he had won the lottery with their number, and they could finally forge their super promotion. The only problem with this however, was that everyone was still largely in disagreement on how to run the company. It was then decided to split the money four ways, and start 4 promotions all around the United States. The owners then decided to each draft 40 workers, and shuffle them in a lottery in the largest interest of fairness as to who could go after what workers.

The end results of the draft lottery and four companies are as follows-

DaMegaFish presents: Hybrid Wrestling Federation

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/DaMegaFish/ComicZ/HWF.jpg

Hybrid Wrestling Federation is an attempt to bring back simpler stories in wrestling, along with solid in ring action to accompany it. The company isn't a pure wrestling product, nor is it an entertainment product. It's a hybrid of the two.

HWF is based out of the MidWest and features top draws: Tommy Cornell, Christian Faith, Rocky Golden and Lobster Warrior. HWF' Whiplash can be seen every Monday night!

DerekB presents: Border-Line Wrestling

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/DaMegaFish/ComicZ/BLW.jpg

Border-Line Wrestling is a new concept for a major North America wrestling promotion...one that doesn't try to force fans to pick sides and that gives liberal creative freedom to the roster in order to create a unique melting pot of styles and personalities. Dividing the focus between an athletic product while try to showcase a range of realistic personas, the promotion's success will almost certainly hinge on getting fans in early and trying to catch then with the new concepts such as their range of titles and sports-like presentation.

BLW is based out of the Great Lakes, and features top draws: Marat Khoklov, Eric Eisen, Steve Frehley and Remo Richardson. BLW's This Is Border-Line Wrestling can be seen every Wednesday night!

Rathen4 presents: American Wrestling Evolved

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/DaMegaFish/ComicZ/AWE.jpg

Bringing a mixture of flashy storylines and solid bone-shaking wrestling, American Wrestling Evolved was aggressive in the draft, making it well known that they considered Wolf Hawkins to be the future of their company.

AWE is based out of the Tri State area, and features top draws: Skull DeBones, Big Cat Brandon, Wolf Hawkins and Bryan Vessey. AWE's AWE TV can be seen every Thursday night!

Apupunchao presents: City Light Outlaw Wrestling

Not much is even known about CLOW, other than they are going to be a down and dirty gritty promotion with tough as nails presentation. They don't even have a fancy logo!

CLOW is based out of the Tri State area, and features top draws: Rich Money, Angry Gilmore, Troy Tornado, and Bling King. CLOW's Outlaw TV can be seen every Sunday night!

***Note: As of now, this is not a full blown diary, more of a log with quick show write ups (if the owners of the respective promotions wish to do so) and an area for discussion.***

Really interested in this game, are we good to predict on any shows :) I assume so...

<hr>

A 4 man tournament for the HWF World Heavyweight championship will begin. Final match will take place at HWF's first Pay Per View. Contestants are, Tommy Cornell, Squeeky McClean, Ben Crane, and Christian Faith.

The tournament is between Christian Faith and Tommy Cornell, though this match could be an epic if built to, it's still an awesome main event to kick start your promotion.

-Four way elimination match for the United States championship between Guide, Leper Messiah, Joey Poison, and Zonk Jr.!

Guide to be a singles star with time

-Lobster Warrior & Rocky Golden vs. Robbie Retro and Scott Sinclair

Rocky tips this one

-Whistler vs. EKUMA

I don't like Whistler

-Jack Giedroyc vs. John Greed

Two guys who seem the occult guy to me, Jack is more over

<hr>

Acid vs Rick Law

Love Acid normally in cult promotions but here, he's not the big star. Law is or can be!

Bling King (Groucho Bling) vs Brent Hill

More of a character

Troy Tornado vs Angry Gilmore

I can't choose :)

Rich Money vs Koshiro Ino

SWF ME > TCW Upper Midcard(?)

<hr>

Title "winner's club" elimination ,this week no one gets eliminated

Buddy Garner vs. Randall Hopkirk

Buddy is awesome, Randall is not, and I'm sure you said you were willing to trade him. That's all the reason I need

Oleg Dorosklov vs. Dermot O'Logical

YOU CAN@T LET DERMY WIN :p

HWF Presents: Whiplash!

PreShow:

Duberry Express vs. Primal Rage

Rage wins in a 4 minute squash.

Milton Hittlesplitz vs. Raphel vs. Joel Bryant

Joel Bryant picks up an easy win, never appearing to be in any real danger after 8 minutes.

3...2....1...LIVE

HWF Whiplash

The show opens up with an video highlighting the four men who start the tournament for the World Heavyweight championship. As the video closes, we have a close up of the championship belt, sitting at ringside. B

Shortly after seeing the championship belt, Tommy Cornell's music hits and he makes his way to the ring, followed by Ben Crane.

Tommy Cornell vs. Ben Crane

In a match that saw both wrestlers take turns dishing it out on each other, Cornell secured the win after 16 minutes. B

Whistler vs. Ekuma

A very short bout that was one sided ended when EKUMA threw Whistler off his shoulder in to the ring post. Whistler was unable to beat the 10 count. E+

Guide vs. Joey Poison vs. Leper Messiah vs. Zonk Jr.

United States Championship Match. Elimination Rules

It didn't take long for Zonk Jr. to find out he was out of his league when he attacked Leper, and that lead to him quickly being pinned and eliminated. Joey Poison followed suit. Leper gained the upper hand on Guide a couple times, but Guide had a never say die attitude that allowed him to pick up the win, becoming the first United States Champion.D+

Backstage we see Whistler in the locker room with ice on his shoulder unwrapping his wrist tape. Captain USA walks in to the scene and offers a hand to Whistler. Whistler says he is fine. Captain USA claims that while both men aren't as big, strong, or fast as some of these young whippersnappers, they are smarter. Captain USA offers an alliance to Whistler to work together, and prove they still have it before leaving. Whistler looks interested. D

Jack Giedroyc vs. John Greed

A back and forth match that ended too soon after Greed lost his cool and wouldn't release a choke hold using the ropes on Jack. The ref had no choice but to call for the bell. C

Backstage, Christian Faith is talking about his upcoming match with Squeeky McClean. He tells McClean things will be just like in the old days, and that McClean doesn't stand a chance. B

Marc DuBois vs. Ant-Man

Not even his amazing strength could save him here. Ant-Man was beaten early and often in this short match. Winner, DuBois. C-

Robbie Retro and Scott Sinclair vs. Rocky Golden and Lobster Warrior

This was a back and forth match until miscommunication between Retro and Sinclair allowed Golden to get a pin on Sinclair. During the match we also saw Joel Bryant at the entry way shaking his head in disgust. C+

Christian Faith vs. Squeeky McClean

Another solid bout that saw the fans completely behind Faith the whole time. Faith managed to keep true to his words and pick up the win. B

After the match, Cornell returned to the ring, grabbing the WHC that was sitting at ringside on his way. Faith, who was posing for fans turned around and got whacked. Cornell continued the assault, leaving Faith out cold. Cornell than kicked the remaining bits of Faith out of the ring and called for a mic. A

Cornell on THE STICK~! put himself over, claiming that he can out wrestle Faith any day of the week, twice on Sunday . Cornell then mocked Faith as staff from the back came out to check on him. The staff had to hold Faith back, as he wanted to go back in the ring, but it was obvious that it didn't take much to hold him back as he was in rough shape. Cornell then posed with the championship as the show went off the air with Faith looking back at the ring. B

Overall the show was rated a B- Not too bad for an opening show. The show did manage a 2.94 TV rating. I would say in the future, to expect maybe a little less matches and a couple more angles throughout the show. Right now however, the focus is almost completely on the WHC, and the feud that is obviously going to be worked between Faith and Cornell.

20LEgend guessed all the results of advertised matches correctly.

City Lights Outlaw Wrestling

King Of Queens

Across 110th Street

CLOW’s inaugural show doesn’t quite open with a bang, more like a wease but the opening does set the tone. Color commentator Streetz comes to the ring and announces that tonight CLOW will see its Premiere stable. Tonight Street Life will be taking the King of Queens tournament title and in the days to come all titles in City Lights Outlaw Wrestling. He announces first Rajah and Slim, the rap duo known as the Harlem Hitmen. Secondly he brings out the muscle of Street Life, The 125th Street Assassin. Lastly he announces the face of Street Life, the true OG of NYC, Bling King. Bling King takes the mic and says that he’s walking into tonight’s tournament a winner and he’s leaving a winner.

Rating: D

Rick Law over Acid

King of Queens Tournament Round One Match

Although a juxtaposition in size Acid manages to hold his own against CLOW’s resident law man, Rick Law. The international masked super star has it all just not enough to take a win as he gets caught with the Long Arm Of The Law and is pinned cleanly by Rick.

Rating: B-

Bling King over Brent Hill

King of Queens Tournament Round One Match

“The King of Bling” versus “The Master of The Mat” is one for the record books as these two men show the crowd that even in the land of gritty characters ring skill still rules the match. Bling King has the match on two occasions before actually getting the pin as he lets his ego get the better of him and plays to the crowd giving Hill a chance to come back. Streetz comes away from the announce booth and both the ref and Hill start yelling at him to go back giving Bling King the chance to sneak up and hit The Bling Thing for the pin.

Rating: B

Angry Gilmore over Troy Tornado

King of Queens Tournament Round One Match

Gilmore hits hard and he hits fast putting Tornado off his game early on but eventually his rage gets the better of him and he slips of giving Troy the chance to take control of the match. The back and forth of the match shows the intensity of both workers and the fans are loving it. Troy goes for the Star Maker but misses and gets caught in the fury of Anger Management from Gilmore, going down for the one, two, three.

Rating: B

Money Can’t Buy Me Love

Tornado leaves the ring first as Gilmore takes a minute to play up to the crowd. As he goes to the back “Blind Rage” Angry Gilmore passes “Big Business” Rich Money and the two get in a heated argument. Money tells Gilmore that he couldn’t buy his way into the finals even if he did have the money, while Gilmore promises Money that’ll rage will overcome cash in their eventual meeting.

Rating: B+

Rich Money over Koshiro Ino

King of Queens Tournament Round One Match

“Final Judgment” Koshiro Ino makes it out to the ring next and the match starts in earnest. Ino seems to out match Money in strength but the wiles of wrestling’s’ richest man keep him one step ahead of the dark justice Kohiro wants to serve up. Money takes his cheating to a blatant level that even the ref can’t ignore but as with all things this is just a ploy. The ref backs Money up to a corner where he is kept distracted as someone slides into the ring and finishes Ino off with an Back Breaker before sliding out of the ring. Money adds insult to injury by getting Ino up ad using the Bank Roll before pinning him.

Rating: B-

Pennies From Heaven

After the three count, three more workers hit the ring and they start attacking Ino while he’s. As the beating continues Rich Money introduces the true premiere stable in CLOW, Big Business. Unlike the Street Life his members are productive members of society. First there’s his personal body guard, master of the Bank Breaker and Ino’s first attacker “The Human Bank Roll” Alexander Thomas Michaels, A.T.M. Next up are “Silver Spoon Brothers”, Ezekiel and Randal Cash also known as the team Cold Hard Cash. Finally “The Mexican Aristocrat” Antonio Del Rey, the next big thing in wrestling today. Money finishes his introduction and joins the attack until the backstage staff comes out and finally stops the beat down.

Rating: C+

Angry Gilmore over Bling King

King of Queens Tournament Semi Final Match

Gilmore and Bling King put on one hell of a match up taking each other to their limit. Bling uses a number of underhanded tactics but doesn’t quite get disqualified under the looser rules of the standard City Light match. Gilmore’s ire builds slowly as he used a lot of it in his first round match. Gilmore finally reaches his breaking point and the loose cannon explodes overwhelming Bling King and knocking the street tough into next week with the Anger Management.

Rating: B

Above The Law

Rich Money is the first one out for his second round match and before Rick Law can be introduced he grabs a mic. Law lets it be known that no one can touch him, that his money and status but him above the street thugs that live in this city, above average man on the street and most certainly above any prosecution. He says that in the next match there is no law, no badge for Rick Law to hide behind and Big Business will control all the titles just like they control all the money.

Rating: B+

Rich Money over Rick Law

King of Queens Tournament Semi Final Match

Rick Law may have made it through the first round but round two is another story all together. Rich Money is on the attack early but the momentum switches back and forth often. The action suddenly gets ramped up a notch as the two men give it their all. Money almost ends it it with the Money In The Bank but what really seals the deal is a little bit over leverage on the ropes and a handful of tights.

Rating: B-

Rich Money over Angry Gilmore

King of Queens Tournament Final Match

Rich money doesn’t even get a break as Angry Gilmore rushes the ring to start the final match. Both men are tired, Money even more so, and the match starts out with a one minute burst of energy before things seem to slow down. The match goes on as the two competitors gain a second win. The intense build up to the Anger Management seems to have Money but away until he gets his foot on the ropes. Money uses Gilmore’s frustration against him and sneaks in a Bank Roll which Gilmore kicks out of at the last minute. Gilmore gets the match back on his side and goes up for the Sky High Elbow but… misses. Both men are worn out and beaten up. Rich Money “accidentally” pushes into the ref which turns him around just long enough for Money to produce some brass knuckles. Gilmore takes a hit in the head and even though they wouldn’t necessarily be a disqualifier under the city lights, Rich Money hides the foreign object. The ref counts the three and Rich Money is the new CLOW King of Queens

Rating: B

Money Rules

Rich Money holds up the tournament trophy and then shoves it in the fallen face of Angry Gilmore. Rich grabs a mic and tells the crowd that he does what all good business men do, he closed the deal. Money says that not only is he a contender for the City Lights Championship title but he will be the eventual winner. He wants everyone to know that they should be on their knees thanking him for allowing them to be around a man of his stature and having him as a representative for the company.

Rating: B+

The angles didn’t live up to the in ring action.

...presents...

This is Border-Line Wrestling!

+ DARK MATCH: Showtime! (Bradford Peverell/Nuclear Templeton) defeat Doug Peak/Frankie Future, with Peverell getting the pinfall on Future after a big Dream Left Hook.

+ DARK MATCH: John Anderson/Jack Marlowe/Joseph Lewis Knight defeat Frederique Antonio Garcia/Marc Speed/Val Robertson, with Anderson getting the fall on Speed following an Ammo Dump and some miscommunications in his own team.

SHOW OPENING: Dharma Gregg introduces herself as the host of BLW, delivering any news from BLW officials as she is informed of it and introducing the matches every week. She hypes up the crowd a bit (and looks good while doing so) and hypes up the Elimination Chase, saying that one of tonight’s competitors in the main event will go home tonight. Each man knows what it likes to be a World champion, but who will fall at the first hurdle on the path to the BLW World Championship?

RATING: C

Duane Fry and Honey Golightly welcome us to the first “official” match in BLW history which sees tag team action as the former TCW team of the L.A. Connection (Aaron Andrews and Chance Fortune) take on the former SWF team of Death Row (Shady K and Knuckles). Both teams work hard and push themselves to a great performance, bt in the end the popular energetic LA Connection take the winner’s share of the purse home with them with a big double team on Knuckles for the win!

RATING: C+

A disturbance in the crowd is shown to be “Valiant” Val Robertson and Hannah Potter amongst the fans. From afar they appear to be taking a pictures of fans and it takes a minute to get a cameraman and a microphone up to them, with the cameraman asking what they’re up to.

Val: “This is the first night of BLW, a truly historic night and much like the scrapbook that my baby and I here keep, we’re looking to take some pictures so that we can all remember this night forever more”

Hannah: “That’s right, sweetie! 5,000 wrestling fans took the chance to come out and see what all the fuss was about and even though Val isn’t wrestling until next week, we couldn’t miss out on the chance to be here.”

Val: “Next week I’ll be going up against a man I’ve never faced before in “The Human Arsenal” John Anderson… it’s gonna be an amazing match, that much I do know and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m sure Hannah will be able to get some great pictures from ringside to add to our book of memories.”

Hannah: “Sweetie, we should get a picture now. Anyone want to take a picture for us?”

And from there Hannah passes the camera to a random fan in the crowd who takes a picture of Hannah and Val air-kissing on the steps of the arena. The cameraman starts to pull back a bit as we head back to ringside and the announce team for the following match…

RATING: C+

Making his official pro wrestling debut is the much hyped former Olympic Gold Medallist in judo, Oleg Dorosklov. Standing across from him, still wearing a face mask apparantly of his own creation is the slightly insane Dermot O’Logical, with his “Bag O’ Tricks” at ringside. Oleg doesn’t seem quite sure what to make of Dermot who welcomes Oleg to wrestling with a big slap… and from there Oleg’s highly trained instincts kick in. Using takedowns to set up submissions, Dermot tries to claw his way to the ropes but is then slapped into an elbow lock that forces him to tap out. Oleg Dorosklov wins in his pro wrestling debut! But the rowdy BLW fans give him a lot of heat in the process… and someone said there was no chemistry between Oleg and Dermot too… as if they know anything.

RATING: E+

We cut to the backstage area where the teams of Death Row (Shady K and Knuckles) and Showtime (Bradford Peverell and Nuclear Templeton) give some words to the BLW cameras. Shady K and Peverell take up most of the camera time as they hype up their encounter in the King of the Cage tournament next week, each saying that they’re gonna prove themselves to be the toughest man inside a cage anywhere in the world.

RATING: D+

Carl Batch heads to the announce team to take the third chair alongside Duane and Honey and proceeds to hype up his new recruits as being the best group of wrestlers he’s ever worked with. He says that the new team of Robert Oxford and Barry Kingman represent his group, the Batch Operation, and is veryexcited as he watches them demolish Nomad and Mimic in about 5 minutes. Batch briefly hypes the main event where he’ll be managing Bryan Holmes, but for now he has to escort his victorious team back to the locker-room and collect his cut of the winner’s pay, something he intends to be doing a lot in BLW.

RATING: D-

A familiar face makes his way down to the ring, picking up a microphone on the way from Dharma Gregg at ringside. He steps between the ropes and signals for his music to be cut off, leaving him in front of a hostile crowd with nothing between him and them but the expensive clothes he wears.

“Ladies and gentlemen, if I can just have a few minutes of your time. For many years you have known me as Joe Sexy. I’m here tonight to tell you that that moniker is no more. That the Joe Sexy you have come to know over the years is gone forever. If you could bear with me for a few minutes, I’d ask you to indulge me by listening to my story.”

“You see, there’s a main event tonight with a whole bunch of former world champions competing to become the first ever BLW World Champion. And I didn’t get an invite to that match because I’ve never been a world champion. And I don’t know if it was the fact that I was excluded from that match or the sudden downfall of the SWF and TCW or just the fact that I’m not getting any younger… but for the first time in my career I was bothered by not being involved. I was bothered that I wasn’t in the main event. And then realisation of that fact, this was really the first time I had ever cared about being overlooked, that bothered me even more.”

“You see, the legendary Sam Keith would tell people that if you aren’t in this business to be World Champion then you might as well give up and go home. And I used to laugh at that because I knew why I was in the pro wrestling business and being World Champion had never really concerned me. Too much work, too little reward. Or so I thought. Ever since I was young I knew I was capable of great things. A big, muscular, good looking athlete with the potential to pretty much do whatever I felt like doing… and rather than put in the effort to be the best at whatever I wanted to do, I chose to just sit back and enjoy life. So while guys like Sam Keith and Christian Faith and Jack Bruce and Rich Money would be busting their asses to be the best, I’d do just enough to get a paycheque and grab a little of their spotlight. I chose to rub shoulders with the best and bask in their reflected glory, so that I could coast along just as I’ve done for my entire life… Joe Sexy… hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, the city of sin itself, has never achieved anything of note in his entire life!”

“… and that’s why I’m out here tonight. I’m not as young as I used to be and I might not have many chances to be the man I know I could be. I’ll never be SWF World champion and now that the big, easy paydays are gone I’m going to have to work hard for every penny I earn. Next week I’ll have my BLW wrestling debut against “Jungle” Jack Marlowe, an awesome athlete who has travelled around the world to hone his craft… but he’s going against someone he’s never seen before. Gone are the days of partying all night. I will no longer work for the vices that have controlled my life. The parties, the drink, the gambling, the women… the beautiful women… from this moment on my name is Joseph Lewis Knight and the next time you hear about a One Knight Stand from me is when it’s delivered to someone right in the middle of that ring and followed by the one, two, three! Because I promise to all you wrestling fans out there, and most importantly I promise to myself, that from this moment on I will be a better wrestler and I will be a better man. Thank you for your time.”

With a note of defiance in his voice and a new determination about him, JLK gets out of the ring and allows the ring technicians to do what they need to do in order to secure the steel cage for the next match. At ringside Dharma Gregg seems impressed at what she’s just seen from JLK as she gets the microphone returned to her.

RATING: B-

KING OF THE CAGE QUARTER FINAL

The cage is finished being constructed during the commercial break with the entire thing taking just a few minutes to set up. The announce team hype up Buddy Garner’s MMA success in environments very like this, though the rules are a little different here as you can win by pinfall, submission or a 10 count knock out. Matches inside the cage are scheduled for 20 minutes for non-title bouts or 30 for title matches so tonight’s tournament match has a time limit of 20 minutes.

Out first is the tough, hard hitting Randall Hopkirk to some boos from the rowdy BLW crowd. And then his opponent makes his way out and it’s clear who the fan favourite for tonight is as “Cage Rage” Buddy Garner returns to compete on American soil for the first time in almost a decade. The match itself is fairly simple… Randall tries to brawl his way to victory by getting Garner backed up against the cage and pounding him from there. But Garner doesn’t go down without a fight, showing some of the fire that made him a PGHW champion as the announcers put over that he could’ve been fighting for the BLW World Championship but he opted out to compete in this tournament instead. Garner eventually shows why he was so dangerous in the MMA world and in PGHW, finding his opening to lock in the Garner Tendon Hold that has earned him so many victories and forcing Randall to tap out to the crowd’s delight.

A promotional hype video plays of Sam Keith and his son Matthew Keith. The two are shown training in the Keith family home, with Sam putting his son through the paces in terms of cardio, weights, basic drills, submissions wrestling, suplex technique and even testing Matthew’s heart by locking him in the legendary Proton Lock. Matthew talks about being ready to make a name for himself on the national level after paying his dues just like his dad did, while Sam himself hypes Matthew’s chances tonight against Remo, and even gets in a dig about how he hopes that one day Matthew will be standing across the ring from Sam witih the BLW World Championship on the line.

RATING: C+

Matthew Keith makes his way to the ring without his father in his corner, making a statement about how he intends to succeed in the business without him. “The Wrecker” Remo Richardson has added his surname since the fall of the SWF and looks in amazing physical condition as he always does. The two men lock up and while it’s clear throughout the match that Matthew has never faced a man as physical as Remo, Matthew does show some of the brilliance his father has shown over his career. The two men have a very physical match as Remo seems to slightly underestimate the rookie , but in the end Remo connects with a brutal Lumbar Puncture and then follows that up with the Destroyer to take the victory and earn himself a nice paycheque in the process.

RATING: B

THE MAIN EVENT

The Elimination Chase towards the BLW World Championship

“Unlimited” Bryan Holmes vs “The Great White Shark” Eddie Peak vs “The Bastard” Eric Eisen vs “The One Man War” Marat Khoklov vs “The Legend” Sam Keith vs “The Dark Destroyer” Steve Frehley

Six former World champions from around the world gather in one ring to begin the chase to the BLW World Championship. Whoever can outlast everyone else by refusing to accept defeat will be crowned the first ever BLW World Champion at BLW’s first PPV at the end of this month, BLW Crowning Glory!

As each man makes their way to the ring the announcers, joined by Carl Batch as he manages Bryan Holmes, put over their strengths and weakness. The versatility and craftiness of Bryan Holmes, not to mention the training from Carl Batch. The insanity and toughness of Eddie Peak. The sheer depths Eric Eisen will sink to in order to impose his will. The unbelievable power and raw menace of Marat Khoklov. The world travelled experience of arguably the greatest legend in the business, Sam Keith. And the explosiveness and unpredictablility of Steve Frehley.

Four men take a corner to stand in, waiting to be tagged in and leaving just Frehley standing across the ring from Sam Keith, the man he defeated in his SWF debut that set the tone for Frehley’s rise to prominance and his championship run thereafter. After Frehley demonstrates his power Keith tags to Peak, with Eric Eisen dropping off the apron to avoid the tag himself. The psychopath and Frehley lock up and it’s on as the two bulls try to overwhelm each other, going power for power before going blow for blow.

The crowd love it until Marat Khoklov tags himself in with a blow so powerful that even Eddie Peak is sent across the ring by it. It’s at this point that everyone realises what they’re up against as Marat physically overwhelms Frehley, then Holmes when he’s tagged in, then Sam Keith… as Sam is bowled into Eric Eisen’s corner Eric drops to the floor again and makes it clear that he knows he doesn’t need to be in the ring with someone like Marat, he just needs to avoid losing, he doesn’t need to win. Peak gets the tag from Keith and begins laying into Marat with headbutts, showing no regard for his own well being against the monster as Eric even tries to trip the big man but only makes him angry enough for Peak to jump on his back and begin headbutting Marat from there. Holmes makes a blind tag on Peak and then sizes up the big man’s knee… but even with Peak on his back Marat manages to dish out a Moscow Lariat to Holmes before throwing Peak over his shoulder to crush Holmes. Seeing things going wrong for his man Carl Batch runs from the announce desk to pull Holmes out of the ring, making his nearly unconscious client tag out to an unsuspecting Eric Eisen. Eric and Batch start to argue which gives Marat time to recover some of his wits as the “One Man War” pulls Eric into the ring for the first time and goes to work on his former boss in the SWF, brutalising him with powerful blows as the rest of the competitors watch on to see what happens next. To Eric’s credit he starts to fight his way out of the corner vacated by Bryan Holmes being on the floor, managing to get his boots up in Marat’s face and stun the big man momentarily. But Khoklov levels Eisen with a Moscow Lariat before signalling a death sentence for Eric, hoisting him up for a Russian Legend Powerbomb… Eric is up in the lights but out of nowhere Steve Frehley hits a Dark Destroyer Spear on the giant Russian, almost snapping the monster in half as Eric Eisen falls from up high to drive the rest of the breath from Marat’s body. The referee counts to three, barely, before Marat can recover from being stunned, the force of which is enough to roll Eric out of the ring too… but this match is over! Marat Khoklov has been eliminated!!

RATING: B

In the aftermath of the match that sees Marat looking shocked and furious at the events that just transpired despite his physical dominance (though some sections of match were removed for the sake of getting the point across… that hardly reads like the 22 minute slow build main event I actually had :p ). Duane Fry recaps some of the highlights of the night and hypes the card for next week which will see the five men still in the elimination chase face off again, the next match in the King Of The Cage tournament (to conclude at our July PPV) and much much more!

RATING: C

OVERALL SHOW RATING: B-

With notes that the angles weren't as good as the matches, which I fully expected given that I didn't use the main eventers for angles much in this show. I had hoped for a maybe a little more from the main event but was also shocked by how well Remo vs Matthew Keith did so that balances out quite nicely. And two bad chemistry notes on the show... Oleg and Dermot are rubbish against each other, which is no big deal. And sadly Nomad and Mimic have bad chemistry as a team. I'd hoped they'd be a good duo but now they'll probably always underperform. But I'm keeping them together anyways, always handy to have a jobber team on the roster which is probably what they'll become.

So yeah... much bigger first post than I'd normally do in a diary but hoping to get some character across for people who might normally be presented somewhat differently. Didn't do a good job on Val/Hannah though... they should come across as almsot sickeningly innocent and naive but they were only meant to be a small spot on this first show. Hopefully the JLK promo did good though. :)

And the rest... well, it's part diary and part sarcastic comments. I don't think I have the energy to do a full diary but I like doing shorthand notes and the odd promo to get a point across. Hopefully this is a good start... I've got some pending decisions on bringing in the Biggz Boyz and Flex & Pecs to bolster the tag division so haven't decided what tag match(es) are gonna be on the card yet. Otherwise, I'm hoping to go with a slightly more sportslike presentation and that means some forward planning on booking to remove some of the chaos that always seems to happen in wrestling to the level of making me wonder if any part of the show is actually planned by whoever is supposed to run the show.

And people fight for money here. Actual figures might never be revealed (except for a tournament I have planned) but I want to make money important in this company since that's what being a pro is all about. Should allow me to weave in some realism and help keep a lot of people credible in terms of booking them as athletes who just want to be rich. :)

EDIT: Congrats to 20Legend for getting 2 out of 3 picks right in the prediction guesses. Someone is gonna be eliminated every week and it ain't gonna be easy working out who it is. But that's hopefully what makes the series awesome... so many big stars, but only one winner! :D

A disappointing show because somehow all the times for my matches got shortened, which mean I was running 12 minute main events. Welp. Fixed now, hopefully AWE TV 2 will be better.

I don't know why you wouldn't just run longer main events than that? For example, I usually set my main events in my product to be about 15 minutes for TV (20 for PPV), but I generally run anywhere between 15 and 22 on TV (and 20 to 35 on PPV). You won't get penalised for it, which is why so many people use the 5 minutes for everything setting when they play TEW (which is a shortcut obviously).

The 90% ratio you had would be the big problem though... hopefully you've remembered to head into the editor to fix everything. :)

Money holds up the King of Queens tournament title and announces tonight’s match to find his opponent for the City Light’s championship at Harlem heat will include the man who lost to him at the finals Angry Gilmore and the Enforcer for his Big Business stable Alexander Thomas Michaels. Money goes on to run down Gilmore and build up A.T.M. (Clark Alexander) (Rating: B)

• Michaels, Garcia and Smith announce the eight man tournament for the City Lights Street Fight title. All matches will be falls count anywhere rules. This week Axxis Jr versus Frankie Perez, Antonio Del Rey versus American Elemental and next week Tana versus Greg Gauge and Acid versus Jeremy Stone (Rating: D-)

• Axxis Jr. takes a clean win over Frankie Perez who seemed to not be giving it his all (Rating: C-)

• With one tournament match over the announcers hype announce one last tournament for the City Lights tag team titles. The night’s upcoming matches will include The Islanders versus The Second Sons of Wrestling and Cold Hard Cash versus The Canadian Oddballs (Rating: E)

• Koshiro Ino comes walking down the hall when he is confronted by Rich Money and his personal secretary Kristen Pearce. Money taunts him for losing to him in round one of the King of Queens tournament getting Ino’s ire. When Kohsiro is good and riled up the man who cost him the match A.T.M. attacks him from behind. After a moment of this the rest of Big Business joins in at the direction of Money who then walks off leaving Ino to his fate. (Rating: C)

• The Islanders (Bali [samoan Machine] and Tama [Kid Toma]) unleash their aggression on The Second Sons of Wrestling (Casey Valentine and Greg Guage). Even with Tama off his game a bit they still take the decisive victory (Rating: D+)

• Rich Money isn’t the only one who can run down his opponent as Street Life comes out to give him a little of his own medicine. Streetz leads the charge but things are quickly taken over by the defacto leader Bling King (Groucho Bling). New valet Osiris meshed well with one half of The Harlem Hit Men, Slim, but not the other, Rajah. The 125th Street Assassin did his job by staring menacingly out at the crowd. All in all the point that Rich Money is not the baddest man in the city got across although Streetz looked week in comparison to the others. (Rating: D+)

• Cold Hard Cash (Ezekiel and Randal Cash [The Bumfholes]) completely dominated The Canadian Oddballs (Stretch the Chicken Boy and Weird Waldo Odlaw) who got a lot of static from the crowd for sucking so bad. The Canadian’s manger Persephone did well with Stretch but not enough to cover the already abysmal Oldaw from being off his game. All in all Cold Hard Cash looked all the better for beating such weak opponents so quickly. (Rating: D)

• Antonio Del Rey used the ropes for leverage to hijack a win from American Elemental (Rating: C-)

• After the return from commercial break Savage Frontier is in the back celebrating The Islander’s win when Antonio Del Rey comes walking past. He can’t exactly look eye to eye with him but he stops and has a small staring contest with fellow City Lights Street Fight title contender Tana (Giant Tana) (Rating: C-)

• Rick Law and Jeremy Stone take a clean win over The Traditionalists (Black Hat Bailey and Rick Sanders), Bailey was visibly tiring by the end of the match and Law seemed to have a few missteps during the bout (Rating: C)

• The camera in the back comes running around a corner to show us a brawl in progress between Brent Hill and Troy Tornado. The battle continues for a few minutes with neither man really gaining the upper hand, until Rick Law and Jeremy Stone come around the corner fresh from their match. Stone and Law pull the men apart but can’t get a reason why the fight started before both men walk off in opposite directions (Rating: C+)

• Before the beginning of this week’s main event the announce team lets us know that next week’s main event will be a matchup for a chance at the City Lights Championship will be Bling King versus Kohiro Ino. (Rating: C+)

• Angry Gilmore goes over ATM cleanly in one hell of a match ending in the Anger Management the crowd were on their feet for most of the match.(Rating: B-)

• ATM may have been down but he did his job taking Gilmore to his limit. As Gilmore gets up to have his hand raised Rich Money runs out from the back and attacks the battered athlete. The beating goes on for minutes even with ATM still just lying there out cold on the floor. The backstage staff can’t get Money off but after a bit he stops his attack and walks away on his own. (Rating: B)

Overall Rating: B-

This show can be considered a success, it should have increased our overall popularity

3...2...1...LIVE

Whiplash starts off with a highlight video from last week, showing the opening of the tournament, and Cornell's assault on Faith.

B

After the video, Emma Chase leaves the commentary table and heads to the ring. Once in the ring, she informs the audience that the board of directors have chosen her to be their mouthpiece, and have informed the wrestlers backstage of this as well. She then calls out Christian Faith and Tommy Cornell. Faith makes his way to the ring first, Cornell shortly after. Cornell smirks the whole time and motions to Faith that he'll have the title belt around his waist shortly. Once in the ring, Emma Chase announces the first HWF PayPerView, Unleashed on Sunday, Week 3 of June will feature a championship match between Tommy Cornell and Christian Faith. Emma then informs them that while the board of directors were not to keen on his use of the championship belt last week, they were actually really fond of another idea he had. Emma then ask Cornell if he remembers what he said exactly. Cornell cannot. Emma then reminds Cornell that he said he could beat Christian Faith twice on Sunday, and informs him that is just what he will have to do if he wants to become the HWF World Heavyweight Champion, as the board has decided the match will be two out of three falls. Cornell looks less than pleased as Faith now begins to smirk.

The party is short lived though as Marc Dubois comes down to the ring with a microphone of his own. DuBois informs Emma that there are three things that are bothering him. 1.He wasn't in the title tournament last week, 2.He wasn't even booked last week, 3.He isn't even booked this week. Emma admits that it is probably a bit of an oversight to not have him wrestle, so she informs him that he does indeed have a match tonight, and it right after the upcoming commercial break against, Christian Faith. Cornell begins to laugh and leave the ring. Halfway to the back, Emma stops him and informs him that his night isn't over, but he will be facing the new United States Champion, Guide, in the main event tonight. The show then cuts to commercial.

B

Christian Faith vs. Marc DuBois

In a match where DuBois used his speed to his advantage, he was ultimately unsuccessful. After missing a few too many high risk moves, Faith found DuBois to be ripe for the picking as he pinned him with a Leap Of Faith.

B

EKUMA vs. Whistler

In another squash, EKUMA destroyed Whistler. After the match, Whistler looked visibly rattled as he headed back to the back.

E

Robbie Retro is making his way to the ring, our announce crew informs us that he is coming out because Scott Sinclair asked him to come to the ring at some point tonight. As Retro is making his way to the ring, Sinclair attacks him. Sinclair throws him into the ring post and then into the stairs at ringside. Sinclair goes over to the announce crew and can be heard yelling at them, "Do I make myself clear?!" He then leaves ringside area as EMT's come to ringside to aid Retro, who is still laid out in pain.

C

Jorge and Michael Wilkes vs. Nathaniel Ca$ino and Raphael

In a fairly short match that saw Joey Poison come to ringside with the Wilkes brothers, Raphael was able to pick up a pin over Michael.

E-

Lobster Warrior vs. Joel Bryant

Joel Bryant makes his way out first, and then watches Lobster Warrior as he comes out. Joel looks absolutely disgusted. When Lobster gets in the ring, Joel instantly attacks him. The match ended when Lobster Warrior hit a big back body drop on Joel, as Lobster got up and began playing to the audience like normal, Joel rolled out of the ring and started heading up the ramp. Joel allowed himself to get counted out while pointing and yelling at Lobster Warrior, "This is WRESTLING! I AM WRESTLING." Lobster Warrior looked a bit confused as the referee raised his hand.

C+

Christian Faith is backstage, he tells us that while Cornell sent him a message last week, he hopes Cornell paid attention to the opening match tonight and got his message. He will not back down, nor be intimidated by anyone.

A

John "Squeeky" McClean vs. Rocky Golden

Another back and forth match that saw McClean use every dirty trick in the book, including using the ropes for leverage when he pinned Golden and picked up the win.

C+

Cornell is backstage and lets us know that while he does have a match with Faith that he is taking very seriously, he considers his opponent tonight to be a much better challenge for him by saying that his opponent tonight is a proven champion, and that Faith, in all of his previous title runs was nothing more than an paper champion and never beat a single worthy opponent.

A

Guide(United States Champion) vs. Tommy Cornell

Non-Title Match

A solid bout that saw Cornell beat Guide cleanly. There were few moments where Cornell actually seemed to lose control of the match, but as stated, they were few and far between.

B-

Overall- B-

Post Show Main-Event

Jack Giedroyc vs Ben Crane vs Jay Darkness vs Freddy Huggins

Jack wound up pinning the debuting Freddy Huggins in a decent match. Crane and Jack then both cleared house after Jay tried attacking them from behind. The heels foiled, the faces celebrated in the ring and sent the crowd home happy.

This is Border-Line Wrestling!

+ DARK MATCH: Nuclear Templeton/Randall Hopkirk/Dermot O’Logical manage to sneak a win over Doug Peak/Frankie Future/Knuckles when Nuclear blasts Future with a Radiation Blast (roaring elbow) to get the win. Dermot manages to get a knee injury in the process that will keep him out of action for the rest of the month of June.

+ DARK MATCH: Marat Khoklov/Remo Richardson/Buddy Garner destroy Robert Oxford/Barry Kingman/Matthew Keith… seriously, they didn’t stand a chance.

SHOW OPENING: Dharma Gregg looks good as she stands in the middle of the BLW ring armed with a microphone. She welcomes fans to a new era of pro wrestling and puts over the Elimination Chase for the BLW World Championship by hyping the 5 remaining men still in the running. “Unlimited” Bryan Holmes, “The Bastard” Eric Eisen, “The Great White Shark” Eddie Peak, “The Legend” Sam Keith and “The Dark Destroyer” Steve Frehley are still in the hunt! Meanwhile “The One Man War” Marat Khoklov has seemingly been irate all week after being eliminated first and is looking to get his hands on someone! The King of the Cage tournament continues tonight with “Hands of Stone” Bradford Peverell taking on Shady K, followed by interviews with the two men who’ll face off in next week’s quarter final! There’s also going to be tag team action, the return of “Olympic Gold Medallist” Oleg Dorosklov to action and much, much more! Up next, Joseph Lewis Knight takes on “Jungle” Jack Marlowe in what could be a show stealing match up!

RATING: B-

After last week’s promo from JLK (formerly Joe Sexy) he gets a mostly positive response from the vocal BLW crowd, though how much of that is carried over from his final run in the SWF and how much is actually sympathy for his high rolling lifestyle crushing his own dreams is hard to tell. “Jungle” Jack Marlowe gets a mixed reaction on his way to the ring, with most of the American crowd only knowing him for his Tarzan inspired run in the SWF and not of his incredible body of work in Japan where he is known as a big man who can brawl, wrestle and even pull out a springboard cross body when required. By the end of the match Jack had shown off a little of everything, using his amazing physical gifts to overwhelm JLK for most of the match but to JLK’s credit he showed a spark of fire he’s generally lacked his entire career and fought back hard and direct. For almost 15 minutes the two men went back and forth before JLK managed to roll up Jack after coming out on the losing end of a striking battle. Joseph Lewis Knight picks up the win, but only just!

RATING: C+

The young livewire known as Too Hot makes his way to the ring, throwing all kinds of dance moves out to entertain the crowd before “Judo’s Olympic Gold Medallist” Oleg Dorosklov makes his way to the ring without any flashy antics, even still dressed in his judo gi. Too Hot tries to get Oleg to lighten up but after a couple of lock ups are broken by dancing Oleg steps in and throws Too Hot right out of his ridiculous hat… moments later Oleg has a cross armlock sunk in deep and Too Hot taps out. The crowd don’t like Oleg much, but it’s almost impossible to not respect his background and sheer athleticism.

RATING: D-

The LA Connection are first to make their way out to the ring, fresh off a success last week in the tag team ranks against the team of Death Row. And their opponents… making their BLW debut to a pounding beat are the newly debuting and unhyped Biggz Brothers. The Biggz are debuting something of a new look, with Bart having dyed his hair dark red and Brett sporting some bandanas, giving the team a more edgy look than they’ve been sporting in the SWF for years. Also noticable by her absence is Jessie, who seems to have not joined BLW with the team she’s managed for years.

So the LA Connection and the Biggz Brothers lock up in tag team action, teams formerly of TCW and the SWF respectively so this marks the first time the two teams have ever met and both are known for their high flying antics and an ability to adapt to whatever the ocassion is in the ring. Both teams give it their all, exchanging fast paced technical wrestling with quick double teams and some high flying moves. For 12 minutes it looks like things could go either way before some signature Biggz Brothers team work kicks in, allowing Bart to hit his version of the Biggz Up on Chance Fortune while Brett slingshots himself to the floor at Aaron Andrews, allowing Bart to get the fall!

RATING: C+

But it doesn’t end there… a muscular man slides into the ring and levels Bart Biggz with a chair before holding the ropes open for the extremely recognisable “Fabulous” Frederique Antonio Garcia. Garcia steps in under the second rope and and instructs the Handsome Stranger to pick and hold Chance Fortune up while Garcia puts on a heavy metal glove on his right hand. Garcia then throws a brutal shot that sends Andrews to the mat, shaking his hand out cos he hurt it so much. The Handsome Stranger demands a microphone. Stranger kneels in front of Garcia and looks at the camera as Garcia talks and strokes Stranger suggestively…

“What you are looking at is the greatest tag team in professional wrestling. Free from the oppression of the SWF and their sanitised view of the world, we will show the world what they’ve been missing out on for so long. A team united in the ring and out, so fabulous that we’re going to take the world by storm and take everything away from these boytoys who wish they could be as good as us. We’re The Beautiful Strangers and we do everything together… that’s why we’re the best team in the world.”

With Brett Biggz and Aaron Andrews recovering on the floor and ready to make the save, the Beautiful Strangers slip out of the ring again and leave as fabulously as they came… walking up the rampway and suggesting that there’s a lot more to their team then we might see in the ring. Time for a commercial!

RATING: C- (I think, too lazy to open the game again :p)

KING OF THE CAGE QUARTER FINAL

And as we come back from commercial we see the steel cage being set up for the second quarter final match of the King Of The Cage tournament. The announce team of Duane Fry and Honey Golightly put over that the winner of this match will face off against last week’s winner “Caged Rage” Buddy Garner in the semi finals to take place next month… but before that it’s time for “Hands of Stone” Bradford Peverell and Shady K to duke it out in a match that is unlikely to feature much in the way of submission attempts.

Peverell makes his way to the ring much like a pro boxer would with Nuclear Templeton seconding him and dealing with his robe once they get to the cage. Shady K is accompanied by his tag team partner Knuckles, the famed SWF duo who are most known for their violent brawls and it’s noted that the cage environment probably isn’t a first for Shady K.

The match itself goes back and forth and is mostly a brawl. Peverell shows a little boxing skill but Shady K completely eschews technique in favour of rugged brawling and using the cage as a weapon whenever possible. Shady K tries to put an end to the match repeatedly with the K Killer but Peverell blocks it, eventually managing to escape out the back and

BAM!

Dream Left Hook from Peverell! Shady K goes down hard and Peverell is happy to stand back and let the referee count to ten for an official knockout finish around the 11 minute mark. Peverell throws a couple of shadow combos as his tag partner comes to his side while Knuckles scowls at them both for the result. Shady K recovers quickly but leaves quietly as the cage is dismantled almost as quickly as it was put up.

RATING: C-

A video package plays as the cage is being taken down in order to hype next week’s quarter final match up in the King Of The Cage tournament. Dharma Gregg interviews both competitors ahead of the match, getting words from both “The Submission Machine” Marc Speed and “The Tap Out Artist” Mario da Silva. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist says he’s not only looking forward to this match but he’s also looking forward to making Buddy Garner tap like a bitch for the title about a month from now… while Marc Speed gives da Silva three choices… tap, nap or SNAP!

It’s so on, inside a steel cage!

The penultimate match of the night is up next as two big names take centerstage, with the in-ring debuts of both men. The former SWF star “Valiant” Val Robertson along with his gorgeous girlfriend Hannah Potter make their way to the ring and take some pictures as he gets ready for the big contest… and then “The Human Arsenal” John Anderson makes his way out. He looks ready for action, with an ice cold demeanour and an air about him that suggests he’s about to do very painful things to Val and there isn’t a lot he’s going to be able to go about it.

Oblivious to that, Val tries for a handshake to start the match and moments later finds himself being suplexed across the ring and out under the bottom rope at Hannah’s feet. Val just seems too naïve to realise what kind of a fight he’s gotten himself into but he keeps going and shows that he does have a lot of talent, taking it to Anderson but sticking directly to the letter of the law which allows Anderson to counter with some painful strikes and launch some devastating suplexes at times. Val never complains to the referee about such unsportsman-like behaviour but every time it happens you can see the fighting spirit build in him and when he eventually pops up from an overhead belly to belly he charges with a big three point stance that sends Anderson to the floor.

But then Val makes a big mistake… he tries to hold the ropes open for Anderson and instead ends up being dragged to the floor with a painful looking slam. From there it’s all Anderson as he unleashes a series of big moves, rounding off with an Ammo Dump that is all he needs to pick up the three count. Hannah gets in the ring to console her man as “The Human Arsenal” heads to the back, his job completed.

The entrances for the main event are beginning with Eric Eisen making his way out first. He has a microphone in hand and the crowd are booing him out of the building until he’s attacked from behind by an irate Marat Khoklov! Marat slams a tree-like arm across Eric’s back sending him tumbling towards the ring before Steve Frehley sprints from the back and launches himself at the monstrous Russian. Frehley brawls with Marat as Eric tries to put some distance between himself and the fight before Remo Richardson joins the fray, attacking Marat and brawling all the way to the back with him, leaving Frehley and Eisen to compete in the main event as Remo shows how awesomely badass he is. Somewhere in the midst of the brawl is a Frehley/Remo staredown as the two old enemies seemingly once again renew their rivalry.

THE MAIN EVENT

The Elimination Chase towards the BLW World Championship

“Unlimited” Bryan Holmes vs “The Great White Shark” Eddie Peak vs “The Bastard” Eric Eisen vs “The Legend” Sam Keith vs “The Dark Destroyer” Steve Frehley

Carl Batch joins the commentary team once again as the team puts over that with one man eliminated from the chase we are down to five people in tonight’s main event match that will once again see a former World champion eliminated from the race to become the first ever BLW World Champion. With one corner noticably empty the match starts with Sam Keith and Eddie Peak in the ring, with Sam doing so to give the two men who were fighting with Marat the chance to recover a little while Peak just seems to want to find someone to inflict pain upon.

With the exception of Eric Eisen who again keeps dropping to the floor when it looks like he’s going to get a tag, everyone seems to spend a roughly equal amount of time in the match. The fans go nuts for Peak and Frehley exchanging bone crunching blows in the middle of the ring and are equally appreciative of Sam Keith and Bryan Holmes exchanging lightning quick hold and counter hold as they showcase their years of international experience in doing so.

A Sam Keith Neutron-Plex is the catalyst for Eric Eisen finally blind tagging himself in, looking to pick up the scraps of Steve Frehley but Eisen is met with a Dark Destroyer Spear as Frehley shows his incredible toughness to recover so quickly from one of Sam Keith’s signature moves. But unfortunately for Frehley, Eddie Peak decieds that he’s feeling violent and returns to start fighting with Frehley once again, stopping any chance of getting a fall on Eric Eisen. The Frehley/Peak fight continues once again as Sam Keith elects to watch from a corner… Eric slowly rolls to a corner where Bryan Holmes makes a tag and gets ready to launch himself into the ring… Eddie Peak and Steve Frehley are exchanging close range headbutts, with Peak trapping Frehley’s arms as the two men aim to brutally concuss each other in a move that almost always results in blood. But somehow Frehley gets the better of the move as he finally breaks the trap and then staggers the big man back to suplex him over the top rope. Holmes looks to creep in the back door and snipe Frehley with a springboard clothesline but Frehley shows off his awesome power as he catches Holmes and a moment later hits the Frehley’s Comet (F-5) on Holmes as Carl Batch goes ballistic on commentary. “Unlimited” Bryan Holmes has been eliminated!

RATING: B

Eric Eisen locks eyes with Frehley and looks shocked at how much Frehley is dominating things, while Sam Keith respectfully applauds. Peak looks furious at ringside, not helped by Carl Batch storming past him to try to recover Bryan Holmes. As the show is closing out Duane Fry quickly runs down what we can expect to see next week as the quest for the gold continues with Frehley, Peak, Eisen and Keith still in with a chance to win… the King Of The Cage continues and the fall out from the Marat/Remo brawl and the tag team match earlier tonight. Check out the website for an updated card, it’s going to be another action packed show!

I kinda liked that show... I keep finding myself wishing I had more time in which to showcase my roster but I don't want to sacrifice my match lengths just to fit more things on. I'm booking this more than ever as EXACTLY what I've got on TV, even down to tinkering with angle times to be longer or shorter than necessary.

I've got a few hundred words written on the concept of BLW as a promotion and I think it's gonna work pretty well. It helps that I ended up with an incredible roster but there are some things I'm cursing... mostly NOTBPW. Hopefully they can get Omar Brown's overness in the USA up because I've got ideas for him and he's really going to struggle to perform if I can only try to get him over once per month... that is, unless I feed him a bunch of jobbers in rapid succession, which I'm not afraid to do cos his badassedness that I have planned. :)

Anywho... no predictions for this show so no rewards to give out to people. If anyone makes predictions then I might try to incorporate answers as "Internet Content" after the show. Got all that post-show time and I ain't using it, so fire some predictions my way and hope to catch a glimpse of some extra content. Do it... do it! DO IT!! :D

Left Hook! Shady K is out cold!

Shades of Self's FCK's Raul Hughes in that sequence. xD.

Enjoying reading you guys' shows.

Exactly what I was going for. Only with more charisma and less years on him. :)

Good to know someoneis reading, I'm quietly enjoying your NOTBPW so far too. I've started developing some good ideas for Edd/Freddy/Laura/Charlie in my TCW game so it's going to be fun to see what you do with them. NOTBPW with some soul injected into it has the potential to be interesting. :)

BLW- EVERYONE MUST HAVE A NICKNAME!

I feel like the way I've written my past couple shows is how it is going to be pretty much for good. It's short, but effective, at least for me. I'll highlight anything important that happens in the match, but you can make up the rest in your head. Maybe I'll spice in a little color or a little more use of bold, but other than that, I think it is how things will be.

Edit-I really need to get something going for my tag team division that is non existant!

Edit-I really need to get something going for my tag team division that is non existant!

This is never my problem. Usually its that I only run tag matches, I have a hard time running singles stuff. I'm thinking of starting a personal game where the whole fed is just tag teams top to bottom.

ELIMINATION CHASE TO THE BLW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

“The Great White Shark” Eddie Peak vs “The Bastard” Eric Eisen vs “The Legend” Sam Keith vs “The Dark Destroyer” Steve Frehley

All are former World champions, but one man must be eliminated!

Eisen's got go sooner rather than later so he doesn't drag down later matches with his lack of psychology

KING OF THE CAGE QUARTER FINAL

“The Submission Machine” Marc Speed vs “The Tap Out Artist” Mario da Silva

I love Marc Speed and when I get a chance I'm stealing him from you.

“The Wrecker” Remo Richardson vs “The One Man War” Marat Khoklov

draw brawl on the outside double count out. These guys both have momentum that I don't think you want to kill

The Beautiful Strangers (“Fabulous” Frederique Antonio Garcia and The Handsome Stranger) vs The Biggz Brothers

You're looking to push these guys. I've played enough games with you and read enough of your work to tell when you're looking to really push some one.

“Olympic Gold Medallist” Oleg Dorosklov vs Mimic

Um yeah sorry mimic you're just fodder.
