Name: John Dreamkiller Age: 30 Gender: Male Size: Heavyweight Ethnicity: White/Canadian Alignment: Face/Heel Gimmick: Grunge Rocker/Nihilist Appearance: Similar to ECW-era Raven, but uglier. Ring Style: Hardcore brawler Skills: High charisma and mic skills, high psychology and consistency, solid hardcore/brawling skills. Finisher: Last Caress (Snap DDT) Bio: Born in Ottawa, Ontario, John Dreamkiller (born Dean Herschel) caught the wrestling bug as a teenager and started training as a high school senior. After graduating from Carleton University, Dean began his wrestling career in the local indy scene, wrestling as a face under his real name. When that didn't work, Dean adopted a grunge rocker heel gimmick after seeing Point Break and changed his name to John Dreamkiller. His persona is an uncommon one in Canada, and his career has gotten a boost from it. Maybe red mask with a white 'C' on it? Ring Style: Entertainer Skills: High charisma and mic skills, decent psychology (think journeyman veteran), really good respect Finisher: You're better at that than me Bio: Born in Vancoover, Tom Yates grew up watching [insert promotion here] shows on TV and by the age of 16 Tom had quit school, run away from home and convinced a wrestler by the name of Gerald Hedon to take him on as a protege and train him in the art of wrestling. Gerald (who worked as Lord Gerald, a fake English aristocrat) used Tom as a valet, with Tom portraying his bulter/bodyguard. Yate's day finally came when he turned on his master on a show for [insert regional 90s promotion] and master and student put on what was concidered by many to be a Match of the Year candidate. Tom got a load of bookings independant of Lord Gerald but, although he had charisma enough, he just couldn't find a gimmick to suit his over-the-top babyface style. Until Gerald suggested he just go with it. If he acted like a superhero, BE a superhero. That night the idea for Captain Canada was born and the rest is wrestling history. Not for his wrestling talent, but his charisma and natural heel aura people see in his smile. "CLP," as he calls himself, is a very athletic for a person his size but is still very slow and gets winded easily. If he overcome those issues he could be a big star in the wrestling business. He has been main eventing for GSW recently. He moved to Canada when he was 23.
