Haha, I noticed that as well. The timing was nearly perfect.

 

Sort of in the same boat here, though. I've been working on an expanded version of the default data with something like 2,050 fighters, and just when I'm 10-15 people away from being finished, Scottie comes out with another render and I can't help but include it. This has happened a few times now. It's a very good problem to have, of course.

You know how it is. There will never, ever be enough WMMA renders. Personally, I don't even use Flyweights or Bantamweights, and I still can't get enough. Thanks to the subjectivity of height and weight with renders, you're helping me fill several divisions.

 

Nice work on that one, by the way.

He kind of looks like a black, lighter weight version of Wanderli Silva to me.

For some reason this immediately stuck out to me, and it's the abs of the fighters. All their abs have perfect symmetry, which isn't all that common. Then again, I've always found that physical flaws tend to add more character to renders than perfect lighting or poses.

Hehe, criticising renders this good over stuff like that is like spending the night with Ronda Rousey and then complaining that she hogs the bedsheets. :D

 

Seriously though, I know it wasn't intended in a derogatory way. :)

 

Thanks for this stuff Scottie - I've been toying with the idea of creating a new database for a while, and these might well give me the extra inspiration I needed.

I love these, Scottie. I create a character for every one and inject them into my FLB game to debut in upcoming months. Got anymore laying around? I was able to have so many between these and others I've found that I could have both a healthy bantamweight division and a flyweight division. I even had two other promotions open to have bantamweight divisions to eat up those I cut and get them wins again, but I've reached a point where both divisions are about ten fighters shallower than all my others.
