Ino & ??? vs Peak & ACID

Tough one. I go with Peak & ACID mainly because I think that Ino would win the PPV match between him and Peak.

Mason vs Dragon #1 vs Nate Chandler

To be honest I have no idea here as none of the three haven´t looked that strong to me so far. I go with Mason but I could see anyone winning this one.

Scout vs Oxford

Scout gets a win in order to tie the rivalry between the two teams to 1-1.

Mystery Men vs The Canadian Animals

Animals are stronger and likely more over so I would go with them normally. However for storyline reasons I think that Mystery Men will get the win as Animals just can´t co-exist right now.

The Freedom Fighters vs The Machines

Tough one. Freedom Fighters are bigger names but I wonder if Minnesota is heading to heel turn and though the trigger won´t be pulled here a loss could set him to turn in either this or next PPV.

Sam & Matt Keith vs Cornell & Leone

Leone haven´t lost yet and Cornell over Keith before the PPV looks like good idea as I expect Keith to retain the title.

Tuesday Week 4, May 2010

In front of 10,000 fans in The V. Thompson Arena (South West)

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JasonAzaria_alt1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/KyleRhodes_alt1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/SaraSilver.jpg

Jason Azaria—Kyle Rhodes—Sara Silver

Azaria:
Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Total Wrestling!

Rhodes:
We’re less than a week away from Total Mayhem, and matters have reached a boiling point already. We found out last week that The Machines have added themselves to Troy Tornado’s Total Mayhem team—

Silver:
—And Sam Keith has confirmed Tommy Cornell as his opponent in the World Championship match. Tonight, they’ll meet in tag team action, with Keith teaming with his son Matt and Cornell teaming with his young…protégé, I guess?...Kid Leone.

Azaria:
And not to interrupt you, Sara, like you did to Kyle, but I just got word that Tommy and Keith are in Nemesis’ office now, and we’ve got a camera standing by.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Nemesis_alt1.jpg

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/SamKeith.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TommyCornell2.jpg

They were in Nemesis’ office, indeed, as Nemesis laid down the ground for rules until Total Mayhem.

Nemesis:
…Remember, you’re the main event, so the show counts on you. I don’t want any damn backstage beatings, no nut shots, no nothing. You can talk all the crap you want, but that’s it. The only contact you have until Sunday is in that tag match tonight.

Tommy sneered.

Cornell:
Of course, “boss.”

Keith:
You’ll get no complaints from me. I do my talking in that ring.

Nemesis:
Good. Now I wanted to talk about the purse split.

Cornell:
You can give it all to him for all I care. I’m making enough off the buyrates that I’ll be swimming in pounds by Monday morning. People pay up when they see Tommy Cornell’s going to be World Champion again.

Keith:
Well aren’t you confident.

Cornell:
Confident? No. I’m bloody cocky, and I’m not ashamed of it a bit, old man. An ego’s a good thing to have. It makes me impervious.

Keith:
We’ll see about that when I make you tap out not once, but twice. Tonight, and then again on Sunday.

Cornell:
You can try and put that theory to the test, but it won’t work. I’m going to be too busy winning to tap.

Azaria:
Cornell seems extremely confident heading into tonight’s main event.

Silver:
I’d say with good reason. A lot of people forget that Cornell won his first World Championship from Rip Chord when he was only 21 years old.

Rhodes:
And the World Championship is the only belt he’s ever held. No other one ahs ever seemed important enough to him.

Koshiro Ino & Davis Wayne vs Eddie Peak & ACID

Finding a partner to face Eddie Peak is a tough task, but the young Davis Wayne stepped up to the plate.

Unfortunately, he just wasn’t prepared for what he faced, and Koshiro Ino did the bulk of the work in the short but entertaining opener. Peak and Ino actually had minimal contact, and that played into the finish.

With Ino and ACID trading in the middle of the ring, Peak stalked over to his opponents corner and ripped Davis Wayne to the floor, where he unleashed a brutal beating on the young Canadian. Meanwhile, oblivious to the violence at ringside, Ino ducked under a wheel kick from ACID and countered it into a Kobra’s Bite (Rolling reverse DDT) to score the win.

Ino and Wayne win, 89.

When Ino was getting his hand raised in victory, Peak was busy throwing a now-bloodied Davis Wayne over his shoulder and marched up the ramp. When he reached the stage, he called for a microphone from the back, and a stage hand quickly ran out and handed him one. He tossed Wayne down to his feet and began to speak.

Peak:
The sacrificial lamb. He stood at your side when you needed him, but you didn’t tell him his true purpose. You may not have known it yourself, but deep within your subconscious, it’s what you wanted, what you needed him for. You thought that you would gift him to me, and his blood would satisfy my thirst, but you have only made me crave my real goal that much more. You cannot avoid my touch, and you cannot prevent my bloodlust from taking over and draining you dry. I will hang you upside down from the rafters if I need to, because I WILL HAVE WHAT I WANT!

The sudden change from Peak’s unsettling, smooth voice to an outburst sounding more animal than human shocked the crowd. Peak let a low laugh escape his lips.

Peak:
The clock is ticking down, second after second after second, and when it finally runs out, I will have my fill.

Silver:
I’ve said it before, but I am seriously, seriously scared of Eddie Peak.

Azaria:
You’d have to be as crazy as he is not to be.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/StevenParker.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/FrankiePerez.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/EddieChandler_Self2.jpg

Machine Gun Mason vs Dragon #1 vs Nate Chandler

Chandler started the match off with a bit of fan interaction, getting a young man booted from the arena after he tried to take a shot at The King of Sleaze for flirting with his girlfriend at ringside. Before getting thrown from the arena, the fan did get to enjoy seeing Dragon hit him with a sick hook kick that would have got the upset win had Mason not been there to break the pin.

Most multi-man matches in TCW in recent times have been primarily All Action division affairs, featuring a lot of high flying, but this one was markedly different in that it was primarily a mat-based match. There was a lot of jockeying for position as the three attempted to wrest control of the momentum for their teams heading into Total Mayhem.

Dragon nearly took the fall when Mason hit him with a 21 Gun Salute (Tiger Driver), but as he was attempting to follow through with the pin attempt, Chandler snuck in from behind, flipping over Mason and locking him into a Fabulous Stretch (Cattle Mutilation) with Mason bent over from a seated position. With Dragon unable to break the hold, Mason was unable to hold out and verbally signaled his submission to the ref.

“Nasty” Nate wins, 74

Rhodes:
We just witnessed a truly talented group of up and comers in that ring.

Azaria:
And just think, at Total Mayhem, there’s going to be three more young talents in there with them.

The camera cuts backstage, where Kid Leone is speaking in a hushed voice to his two friends, Brandon Smith and Gino Montero, when the trio are confronted by Party Down and Josh Taylor. Taylor clears his voice, and Leone looks up with annoyance.

Leone:
You again? I thought you had enough of me kicking you around.

Taylor:
You’d think that, wouldn’t you? But no, I guess you can say I haven’t. So much so that me and my two new friends here—

He gestured to Party Down.

Taylor:
--Went to Nemesis last week, and, well, I suppose we did you a favor.

Leone:
A favor, huh?

Taylor:
Yeah. See, we got you a guaranteed PPV payday Sunday night. All three of you, actually, because it’s going to be you three against us at Total Mayhem, six man tag rules.

Smith shot to his feet, going chest-to-nose with the smaller Taylor. Taylor, for his part, wasn’t backing down.

Smith:
You think you got what it takes to beat me, boy?

Taylor:
Yeah, big man, I do. You got a problem with that.

Before Smith could reply, he was cut off by Leone’s laughter. The masked youngster put his hand on Smith’s shoulder, pulling him back a bit.

Leone:
Easy, big man. We’ll embarrass them, but not until Sunday. Think you can wait that long?

Smith scowled.

Smith:
Can’t wait.

???:
You ladies done here?

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TommyCornell2.jpg

Tommy Cornell stepped in from off camera. He exchanged a look with Leone, and then turned on Taylor and Party Down.

Cornell:
You mind getting the bloody hell out of here? I’ve got big boy business to discuss with my associate here.

Taylor:
Yeah, Tommy, we’re done. We’ll leave you to your little project. Enjoy him while he lasts, though. After Sunday, I don’t suppose there will be much left of him.

Azaria:
There’s another big match added to Total Mayhem.

Silver:
Big for Leone and company, maybe. For Taylor and Party Down, I foresee a loser’s paycheck.

Rhodes:
I think you’re seriously underestimating Taylor and Party Down here, Sara.

Silver:
And I think you’re overestimating them, Kyle.

Rhodes:
Fair enough.

Scout vs Robert Oxford

With his partner, Guide, out until Sunday night, Guide was severely outnumbered, even if Oxford’s team wasn’t at ringside. They proved last week that they had no problems coming from the back and interfering in matches.

All in all, this was a very cerebral mat based match. It was a bit slow paced, but every move was deliberate, with a lot of pain intended with each one.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JDMorgan.jpg

Eventually, though, JD Morgan made an appearance just as Scout slapped on a Boston crab. He immediately released the hold and decked Morgan just as he hopped up on the apron, sending him right down to the arena floor. Oxford was just stirring, and as soon as he stood, Scout dropped him with a Danger Ahead (Seated Neckplant), hooking the leg in the process and scoring the win!

Scout wins, 80
.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/MarcSpeed.jpg

After the match, Marc Speed came sprinting down to the ring with mean intention, but as he wound up to nail Scout with a big shot, found himself blasted with a Danger Ahead. As this was happening, Morgan was just gaining his feet, and Scout nailed him with a Danger Ahead as well. With the three men around him down and Joel Bryant wisely not making an appearance, Scout stomped up the ramp to the backstage area.

As he stepped through the curtain, Jasmine Saunders was there to intercept him.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JasmineSaunders.jpg

Saunders:
Scout. Scout!

The talented technician stopped just long enough for her to ask a question.

Saunders:
Scout, you just decimated most of The Traditionalists out there. Are you at all worried about your tag title match Sunday night anymore?

Scout:
No, Jasmine, I’m not. Because Sunday night I’m going to have Guide at my side, and both of us are pissed off right now. Real pissed off. And trust me when I say The Specialists are going to know exactly what it feels like to face a pair of pissed off special forces badasses.

Azaria:
After last week, I really thought The Specialists had the advantage, but now? I’m not so sure.

Silver:
Really? I still think The Specialists will take it.

Next up, the camera cuts to Carl Batch and Aaron Andrews alone in the interview area. Andrews’s partner, Chance Fortune, is notably absent.

Batch:
Ladies and gentleman, let me introduce you to the hottest commodity in all of wrestling, TCW’s number one up and comer, your All Action champ, Aaron Andrews! Sunday night, he’s going to put that beautiful gold belt of his on the line. Now I know a lot of you are gonna tune in to see the brutal, painful, outright scary Total Mayhem match, or maybe even the big World Championship match. But I’ll tell you this, you wanna see the future of TCW, you tune in for the All Action matches.

Batch:
Six cats are gonna try for a shot at this belt, but only the last two standing will get it, and they get it THAT NIGHT! That’s right people, you get two of matches with the potential to steal the show for the price of one. I say it again, you wanna see the future of TCW, you tune in for Aaron Andrews.

Silver:
Batch sure has confidence in Andrews.

Azaria:
Well, he’s had five successful title defences in the past two months. I’d say it’s well placed.

Mystery Men vs The Canadian Animals w/ Laura Huggins & Charlie Thatcher

Fast paced would be the number one description of this one. Teamwork would be the other, in terms of both good and bad.

Mystery Men have developed a nice rhythm together despite collecting zero wins in their thirty three outings together, and The Canadian Animals have never been more dysfunctional. To Edd Stone’s credit, he actually seemed oblivious to the communication breakdown with Huggins. Even as Stone lined up a super kick and Huggins tagged himself in, Edd didn’t seem to mind. After doing so, Huggins blasted El Leon with a Huggins Kiss (Super Kick) to take the iwn himself.

The Canadian Animals win, 79.

Rhodes:
I can’t say The Animals looked great despite taking the win.

Azaria:
Maybe if Huggins made an attempt to actually work with his partner.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/EddStone_alt1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/DuaneStone.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/FreddyHuggins-1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/LauraCatherineHuggins.jpg

Stone:
Freddy! Bro!

The Canadian Animals were shown backstage, Freddy and Laura leaving Edd in the dust. After a minute, Edd gave up chasing after him, and that’s when Duane stepped into the shot.

D. Stone:
What’s up little bro?

E. Stone:
You know, D-Man, I just don’t know. It’s Freddy. Dude’s been acting crazy to me lately. I don’t get it.

D. Stone:
Yeah, I can’t say I didn’t notice that.

E. Stone:
Why didn't you say anything?

D. Stone:
I thought you knew! Guy’s been hitting you for the past month it seems like. There’s definitely some dude-hate there.

E. Stone:
Yeah, I guess I’ve noticed it a little…

D. Stone:
You want to hit the club tonight?

E Stone:
Not really. I guess I just want to go back to my hotel room. Get in my zen zone, ya know amigo?

D. Stone:
I guess I understand that. Look, you hange your mind, let me know.

Rhodes:
Edd Stone not going out? Stop the presses!

Azaria:
It’s certainly out of character for him.

Silver:
Well I for one am happy. I’m just about tired of him hitting on me every time I go out. Hey Edd, get this, it’s never going to happen!

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/WolfHawkins_alt22.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/BryanVessey.jpg

Backstage, Wolf Hawkins was watching a live feed of the show on a monitor when it cut to an image of him.

Hawkins:
Great…

That’s when Bryan Vessey stepped into shot.

Hawkins:
Something to say, old man? Or do you want to call off our match?

Vessey:
Only if that’s what you want.

Hawkins:
I wouldn’t dream of it.

Vessey:
Good. That’s what I wanted to hear before I told you this stipulation. There aren’t going to be any count outs Sunday night, so there’s no running away for. You can’t hide from me this time.

Hawkins:
Are you still hung up on that? Really? All I wanted to do was give you a little confidence before I shut you down again. It makes it that much more satisfying for me.

Vessey:
That may be so. It may be. That being said, your little fight or flight bull **** is just that: bull ****. It ain’t going to work for you this time.

Hawkins:
That’s just fine with me.

Vessey:
Good.

Hawkins:
Good.

Vessey:
Good!

Hawkins:
Go—

Hawkins was interrupted as Vessey slapped him square across the jaw.\

Vessey:
Good.

And with that, Vessey left the area with Hawkins rubbing his jaw, looking exceptionally offended.

Silver:
What a sign of disrespect!

Azaria:
In Vessey’s defense, Hawkins has been extremely disrespectful to him as well.

Silver:
Does Vessey really deserve Hawkins’s respect?

Rhodes:
I’d say so, Sara.

Silver:
Whatever, Kyle.

The Freedom Fighters vs The Machines

Tag team wrestling at its finest.

Both teams had their fair share of control, exhibiting brilliant teamwork through double teams, quick tags, and ring awareness. The match rarely broke down into chaos, and that was because the need never arose for either team. Both The Machines and The Freedom Fighters were so confident in their abilities that they knew the momentum would eventually swing back their way, so worry never entered their minds.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TroyTornado_alt22.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/SammyBach_alt3jt.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/RockyGolden.jpg

Eventually, Sammy Bach and Troy Tornado made their way to the ring. They didn’t interfere, though. Instead they meandered to The Machines corner to cheer them on. Soon after, Rocky Golden emerged from the back, intent on rallying The Fighters to victory.

Alas, neither cheer squad did any good, and the match was declared a draw at twenty minutes, with neither team close to achieving victory.

Time limit draw, 93.

Furious that The Machines lost, Bach and Tornado immediately hit the ring, blindsiding The Freedom Fighters. Rocky Golden soon joined them, trying to even the sides for The Fighters, but it was to no avail. Troy Tornado and his goons were getting the best of The Freedom Fighters and Golden when a hooded figure suddenly leapt the barrier and entered the ring wielding a steel chair.

The man let the chair fly liberally, basting both Machines and Sammy Bach before Troy Tornado could escape. Troy quickly scurried up the ramp, stopping once he hit the stage, and looked back at the four men standing tall. Now that The Hooded Man finally had everyone’s attention, he dropped the chair, reached up, and ripped his hood back, revealing…

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/BennyBenson.jpg

Ben Benson! Seeing his attacker, Tornado stomped all over the ramp, shouting to the back to give him a mic.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Benson turned toward Joey Minnesota and extended a hand. Slowly, Joey accepted the gesture, and Benson shook excitedly, his intentions clear: he was now Minnesota’s fourth man.

Tornado:
Benson? BEN BENSON? That’s who you get? Are you crazy?

Benson turned back toward Tornado, the corners of his mouth quickly turning downward.

Tornado:
If you think he’s gonna help you beat me, you got another thing coming. I’m the MAIN EVENT, baby! All you’re there for is to get your asses kicked and make me look good doing—

Minn:
Shut the hell up!

The outburst from Minnesota startled even his partners, not to mention Troy Tornado.

Minn:
For the past two months you’ve done nothing but disrespect me, and that’s bull ****! I am the best wrestler TCW has to offer, and I come to work every week and hear you degrade me. You talk down to me, and it just tells me you’re scared. It tells me you’re trying to talk yourself up, trying to gain a little confidence. You know deep inside that you can’t beat. You found that out last month when I kicked your ass. But here’s the thing: You’re not alone. No one that has ever stepped foot in this ring can beat me. Sam Strong and Rip Chord in their primes couldn’t beat me, and a fake rock star puffing his chest out sure as hell can’t. Sunday night, I’m going to make you realize the error of your ways. You should have never provoked me. Now you’re going to receive the full wrath of a wrestling god.

Joey spiked the mic into the mat when he was done, and left the ring, pushing past Troy Tornado, still stunned that someone had out-talked him. Minnesota’s partners, standing tall around the fall Machines and Sammy Bach, just exchanged confused looks, not sure of what to make from Minnesota’s tirade.

Azaria:
Minnesota seems to finally be reaching a breaking.

Rhodes:
And I’ll tell you what, it’s been a long time coming. A lot of guys have looked past him, just seeing him as RDJ’s protégé, but he really is one of the best guys on the roster.

Silver:
Say what you want, but I think it’s just a weakness that Tornado’s going capitalize on. Minnesota’s going to get reckless, and you can’t do that against Troy Tornado.

Sam & Matt Keith vs Tommy Cornell & Kid Leone

Sam and Tommy have both been in their fair share of main events throughout their storied careers, but this would be the first time either Matt Keith or Kid Leone stepped up to plate. With stats like those, one wouldn’t be overreaching to say that how they handled the pressure of their first main event would decide the match, and it did.

Matt seemed nervous from the second he emerged from the back with his dad, trailing just a little behind. Sam tried his best to encourage him throughout, but he made rookie mistake after rookie mistake. He would get worked up over nothing, over eager after a big move, and fall into a trap by his opponents.

Kid Leone, on the other hand, seemed to be brimming with confidence. The youngster plunged into the match with gusto, going hold for hold with Matt and even getting the better of Sam on one or two occasions. At the urging of Tommy, though, he was getting extra stiff with Sam. When Matt was in the ring, the match resembled a friendly exhibition more than anything with Leone simply showing off. When Sam was in the ring, however, Leone attacked.

Sam fended him off for the most part, but with a reckless youngster and Tommy Cornell in the ring, he wasn’t successful one hundred percent of the time. With Tommy and Sam as the legal men, Leone wisely grabbed at the ankle of Sam as he ran the ropes, tripping the champ. Tommy quickly capitalized, hoisting him up and blasting him with a rough ride! Just as Tommy covered him, Matt stepped into the ring, intent on breaking the pin, but Leone was there in a split second, flying in from the side and dragging Matt down with a beautiful Blue Light Special (cutter) as the ref counted to three, awarding Tommy the win heading into Total Mayhem.

Tommy and Leone win, 86.

As the show cut to black, the image of Total Mayhem slowly faded in. Within in, graphics of big moments in past Total Mayhem matches flashed in and out.

Wolf Hawkins climbing to the top to execute a splash on RDJ.

Tommy Cornell spiking Liberty onto the steel grated floor with a piledriver.

Rip Chord’s bloody visage being smashed into the cage wall by Sam Strong.

The cage wall denting under pressure as Tyson Baine uses his full weight to smash Troy Tornado into it.

Images of brutality that are only the tip of the iceberg. Sunday night, in thirty minutes, two teams of four men will attempt to impose their will on one another, aiming to smash the other team into submission so that at the end of the night, they will raise their hands in victory, having the highest score.

One by one, the faces of the men competing in Total Mayhem come into view.

Joey Minnesota. Troy Tornado. RDJ. Sammy Bach. Rocky Golden. John Anderson. Ben Benson. Brent Hill.

Eight men will step into the ring Sunday night, and only four will be victorious.

Saturday Week 4, May 2010

In front of 2,000 fans in The Grissom Auditorium (South West)

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/DavisDitterich.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/ShawnDoakes.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/SaraSilver.jpg

Davis Ditterich—Shawn Doakes—Sara Silver

  • The open of the show featured Koshiro Ino in action against ACID in a warm-up match for his match tomorrow night with Eddie Peak. ACID put up a good fight, but Ino was able to spike him with a Kobra’s Bite (Spinning inverted DDT) to take this one fairly early on.
    80.

  • In another preview for Total Mayhem, Party Down took on Brandon Smith and Gino Montero in an exciting tag team match. Montero and Smith were able to isolate Alexander for the most part, but when he got the hot tag to Fonz the match took a turn for the worse, and Fonz plastered Montero with a big boot to take the win.
    72.

  • All four members of Team Freedom Fighters were seen next. Joey Minnesota was hyping up Rocky Golden and Ben Benson, telling them that if they lost tonight, then maybe his faith in them was misplaced. After they leave, RDJ tells him to settle down a little, but Joey’s way too pissed to do that.

  • Triple threat tag action came next, as Mystery Men, American Elemental and Jimmy Foxx, an Buffalo and Genghis Rahn collided. Both Mystery Men and Elemental and Foxx tried to gang up on Rahn and Buffalo, but they were unable to stifle the big men, and Buffalo was able to crush Jimmy Foxx with a Stampede (Avalanche) for the win.
    64.

  • Much the same as Team Freedom Fighters meeting, Team Rockstar is shown next with Troy Tornado insisting that The Machines destroy Ben Benson and Rocky Golden tonight. The Machines roll their eyes at him, and say that as long as they get their payment, they’ll do anything.

  • Bryan Vessey was in warmup action next, taking on a no name going by the name of Walter Morgan. Morgan isn’t able to anything against Vessey, who quickly decimates him with a series of destructive moves, finishing him off with a Vessey Driver. The fans were extremely into this squash match for whatever reason.
    83.

  • Tommy Cornell is shown next in the interview area alongside Jasmine Saunders. Saunders asks him about his title match with Sam Keith next night, and Tommy says to not even think about. Instead, he says, think about the celebration ceremony after the match for when he wins his record sixth World Championship.

  • In the co-main event of the evening, Matt Keith, Sean Deeley, and Dragon #2 competed in a triple threat match up, much like their partners did Tuesday night on Total Wrestling. Deeley and Keith combined for a nice technical base for the match, with #2 providing a fun aerial element to the match. In the end, it all came down to Keith redeeming his loss in Tuesday’s main event by hitting Deeley with a Neutron Plex for the win.
    81.

  • In the main event, Rocky Golden and Ben Benson teamed up to battle The Machines in match that would surely have a big influence on their clash at Total Mayhem. Benson and Golden came out strong, but the near-perfect teamwork of The Machines proved to be their undoing as Anderson and Hill isolated Benson until Anderson was able to drop him with an Ammo Dump. As he made the cover, Hill sprinted across the ring to intercept Golden, hitting a low dropkick before he could break the pin.
    74.

I only have Morgan right now. I tried getting Merle in a TCW game a long time ago after seeing Phantom Stranger get him massively over, but since he's RoF's head booker he'll only sign PPA contracts. It's the same reason I don't have Jean Cattley right now, too.

Nigel, on the other hand, I didn't even think about going after. And he's unemployed right now, another victim of RoF's budget cuts. I might just send him and offer since I won't have to pay relocation costs.

The bad thing is that ROF doesn't die unlike MOSC. What about Louis Figo over in Europe. He's in hiatus but he'll probably come out if you contact him. He's a little old but his skill are great and he seems like an extremely fun character to play as a heel.

I think if I brought Manico in, it would probably be as a fun loving European immigrant character. I would have to watch some videos featuring Spanish immigrants in particular to get his voice down, but imagine something like the stereotypical "I love USA" Eastern European character. It sounds like more of an SWF move, but I've already got one of the best wrestlers in the game essentially working as Batman, so I figure how much could it hurt?

He would make a good international Champion once Sammy becomes too good for the title. He also has great performance skills so you can use him to train Kid Leone and the other young heels who lack the necessary psychology. He also seems like the type of guy who would slap the taste out of your mouth if you disrespected him.

Another guy who could be great after some fine-tuning is Hitomaro Suzuki. He has the size and the brawling and technical skills.

Total Mayhem is here. If you haven't ordered the PPV yet, do so. Now. It's well worth the 49.99 price tag. Total Mayhem may not be the biggest show of the TCW year, but the fifteenth iteration of the iconic show will feature a showcase of everything that TCW has come to be known for.

Heavyweight brawls. All Action showcases. Fantastic tag team wrestling. Young, hungry talent. And finally, the spectacle known as Total Mayhem itself. All those elements combine to form the most complete wrestling show on the market today.

When Aaron Andrews won the All Action Championship two months ago, he declared that his reign would be remembered for taking on all comers, and he has done an excellent job, defending against an astounding eight competitors since winning the belt from Edd Stone in a ladder match also featuring Freddy Huggins and Chance Fortune. At Total Mayhem, he adds another two names to that list.

ACID, Chance Fortune, Davis Wayne, Black Cobra, Edd Stone, and Freddy Huggins all have a shot at Andrews's belt. But first, they must go through the gauntlet in an elimination that will end only when two wrestlers are left standing. If they can make it through that, then they have a chance to dethrone Andrews and win the All Action Championship themselves.

Young talent and emerging tag teams have been a defining part of TCW since Nemesis took over as general manager early this year. Three teams embody both of those traits: Matt Keith and Machine Gun Mason, The Dragons (#1 & #2), and Real Appeal (Nate Chandler & Sean Deeley). Over the past week, individual members of each team have engaged in triple threat matches, with Keith and Nate Chandler each picking up a win in extremely competitive matches. The team that takes the win should surely have an extremely bright future here in TCW.

Since making their support of Tommy Cornell vocal, Kid Leone, Gino Montero, and Brandon Smith have drawn the ire of certain members of the TCW roster, unwilling to see the emergence of a new Syndicate-like faction. Josh Taylor and the team Party Down have been clear that they wish for the three youngsters to end their relationship with Cornell, but since Tommy Cornell strengthened that bond with the group after taking a main event win in a tag match with Leone, that seems unlikely. Instead, the two teams of three hope to settle matters in a triple threat that's sure to bring the fireworks.

At Where Angels Fear to Tread, Wolf Hawkins took a hard earned win over Bryan Vessey. Since then, the two have continued their rivalry, resulting in a match with two stipulations. The first was Vessey's idea to lure Hawkins into a rematch, stating that the winner will be take both the winner's and loser's purse after the match. The second was born of Wolf leaving a match early in an act of self preservation, one which Vessey declared cowardice. The result was that the match will be contested under no count out rules, which should make for a few very exciting situations at ringside.

The violent Eddie Peak turned his attentions to Koshiro Ino this month, bringing a particular attention to his need for a "blood sacrifice," whatever that means. Peak's semi-intelligent but always psychotic ravings finally came to a head at Tuesday's Total Wrestling event, where he bloodied and beat Davis Wayne to a pulp, declaring it to be just a preview for what will happen to Ino come Total Mayhem.

The Tag Team Championship will be on the line as dominant champs The New Wave defend against veterans The Specialists. The Specialists have drawn the ire of the champs, using the full force of their Traditionalists faction to injure Guide. Scout has assured us that Guide will be back at full health tonight, but that remains to be seen.

The co-main event of the evening is the match it takes its namesake from, Total Mayhem. The team Joey Minnesota, RDJ, Rocky Golden, and Ben Benson will step into the steel domain to take on Troy Tornado, Sammy Bach, and The Machines. This match stems back two months, when Troy Tornado began to publicly disrespect Minnesota. The disrespect continued even after Minnesota bested Tornado in singles competition. As a result, the two agreed to Total Mayhem and set out to assemble their teams. Both men chose their friends Sammy Bach and RDJ to team with, but Troy went the down the route of paying The Machines to team with him. Minnesota's team, however, is made up completely of volunteers. Rocky Golden is still aiming to topple Sammy Bach, and Ben Benson is simply out to make a name for himself. Whatever their reasons for competing in the match, they will surely leave the match with a few more scars than they entered with.

The main event has roots reaching back two months as well, when both Tommy Cornell and Koshiro Ino declared their intent to challenge for the World Championship. After the two fought to a time limit draw, it was determined that they would both challenge for the World Championship. In the title match at Where Angels Fear to Tread, Sam Keith emerged triumphant, beating Koshiro Ino to retain his title. Cornell came out the following Tuesday, stating his intent to challenge once more, having not been the man to actually lose the triple threat match. Sam Keith, amused, set out to force Cornel to "prove his worth," setting him into tough matches against Ben Benson and Koshiro Ino. Finally, he accepted the challenge. It may have proved to be a mistake, however, since at Tuesday night's Total Wrestling taping Cornell was able to emerge victorious over Keith in tag team action. With the momentum firmly on his side, will Cornell be able to dethrone Sam Keith?

Quick Picks:

ACID vs Black Cobra vs Chance Fortune vs Davis Wayne vs Edd Stone vs Freddy Huggins in the elimination match, final two standing

Aaron Andrews © vs The two winners of the previous match for the All Action Championship

Matt & Mason vs The Dragons vs Real Appeal

Josh Taylor & Party Down vs Leone, Montero, & Smith

Bryan Vessey vs Wolf Hawkins, no count out

Koshiro Ino vs Eddie Peak

Team Freedom Fighters vs Team Rockstars in Total Mayhem

Sam Keith © vs Tommy Cornell for the World Championship

If I haven't done a good enough job describing Total Mayhem, imagine an Elimination Chamber without the chambers at the corners. All the men start in the ring at once, and it's essentially a thirty minute iron man match from that point. If I haven't described it well, please, tell me. Criticism is good!

EDIT:

Just an update, as well. This is likely to be the last show for a minute. I'm in the process of relocating to Korea, and should only have the internet and time to work on and post shows for a few more days. Don't fear, though, because I only have the Total Mayhem match and the main event event left to write. They'll both have some length, but I feel like they kind of need it, so expect some longer matches than I usually write for those two.

<p><strong>ACID </strong>vs <strong>Black Cobra</strong> vs Chance Fortune vs Davis Wayne vs Edd Stone vs Freddy Huggins in the elimination match, final two standing</p><p>

<em>I think that Edd and Freddy are going to cancel each other´s out and Wayne isn´t ready yet plus he might be selling injury thanks to that attack from Peak. Black Cobra will likely be the one that goes forward and that leaves Fortune or ACID for a second spot. I guess it depends whatever you want to keep Fortune and Andrews together or not, I go with first option and thus choose ACID.</em></p><p> </p><p>

This is the longest show I've written yet, mostly due to the Total Mayhem match. Honestly, I don't know how Phantom Stranger did it was all of those A* matches he had. Enjoy!

Sunday Week 4, May 2010

In front of 28,269 fans in The Manhattan National Center (Tri-state)

Jason Azaria—Nemesis—Sara Silver

Azaria:
Ladies and gentleman, I’m Jason Azaria, and I want to welcome you to Total Mayhem!

Silver:
And I’m Sara Silver—thanks for the introduction, Jason—alongside the legendary Nemesis.

Nemesis:
You know, I’ve been here for three months now and I can’t over how God ****ed big the crowds are. Back in DaVE I only ever dreamed of running shows in this building!

Azaria:
And a historic building it is, and we plan on adding to its legacy, starting with a huge opening match, Bryan Vessey versus Wolf Hawkins!

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/BryanVessey.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/WolfHawkins_alt22.jpg

vs

With the no count out stipulation added just last week, there was a lot of time spent on the floor. It made for a fun brawl, but it took away a lot of the mat sequences that made their encounter last month so intense. Try as he might, Wolf just isn’t the brawler that Vessey is, and he ended up on the receiving end of Vessey’s stiff strikes more often than not.

Once back in the ring, though, Wolf pulled back into the lead, using a unique speed-based mat style to switch quickly from hold to hold, keeping Vessey guessing the entire time. It was a strategy that relied on quantity over quality, though, and Vessey was able to trip Hawkins up every now and then and deliver punishing blows of his own.

For instance, after a series rest holds on the ground, Wolf transitioned into a full nelson, forcing Vessey up to his feet. He attempted to nail him with his Wolf’s Call full nelson suplex, but Vessey broke free of the hold, spun on his feet, and looked to blast Hawkins with a Vessey Plex (Exploder). Hawkins was also able to avoid damage, using a forearm blast to stun Vessey. He charged forward looking for Full Moon Rising, but Vessey had the presence of mind to duck the kick, and when Hawkins popped up to his feet, lifted him up onto his shoudlers for a Vessey Driver!

Before Vessey could even get a single spin in, though, Hawkins grabbed the top rope, forcing Vessey to hold still. Using all his weapons, Hawkins began to knee Vessey violently in the head, forcing him to put him down. Once there, Hawkins charged forth once more, this time connecting with Full Moon Rising, crumpling Vessey. Hawkins simply lay with his back down on Vessey, not even hooking his leg as the ref counted one, two, three.

Hawkins wins, 81
.

Silver:
Hah! I told you Hawkins would win!

Nemesis:
Was there a bet on the match or something?

Silver:
No.

Nemesis:
Then shut the hell up about “I told you so.” It don’t matter if you don’t win anything.

The camera cuts now to the locker of Troy Tornado, Sammy Bach, and The Machines, otherwise known as Team Rockstar. The Machines are seen sparring with one another, Bach is lounging about in that easy way he has, Karen Killer leaning on him sensually, and Troy Tornado is pacing back and forth. Finally, Tornado clears his throat, and everyone’s ears perk up.

Tornado:
Listen up, ladies. And you too, Karen.

Tornado chuckles under his breath at his own joke.

Tornado:
Tonight is our night. We may not be going on last, but trust me when I say that we’re the MAIN EVENT, baby! And it’s thanks to me. I brought you to this dance, so it goes without saying that you’ll all just follow my lead.

The Machines exchanged a glance.

Tornado:
Oh, I’m sorry, I need to dumb it down a little for you two. I’m gonna go out there and tear the house down with a wicked cool guitar solo, and you’re gonna play air guitar to whatever it is I’m doing at the time. Comprende?

Hill and Anderson both rolled their eyes.

Anderson:
Yeah, Troy, we got it.

Tornado:
Good. With the amount of money I’m paying you for this gig I expect nothing less. You’re my own private mercenaries—

Anderson:
Let me stop you there. Mercenaries mean we work for anyone. We aren’t exclusively yours.

Tornado:
Yeah, yeah, semantics. Just do what I say and do it well, alright? I can expect that much from you, can’t I? Can’t I?

Anderson was about to speak up again when Hill put a hand on his shoulder, shaking his head.

Hill:
Drop it. Let’s just go warm up somewhere else.

Anderson:
Yeah. Good idea.

Tornado:
Hey, where are you going?

Anderson waved him off as they left the room.

Tornado:
Whatever. They’ll do what it takes to get paid. Right, Sammy? Sammy?

Sammy’s eyes were closed again as Karen rubbed down his chest.

Tornado:
Sammy! Pay attention!

Sammy’s eyelids opened up at a lazy pace, and he smiled up Troy.

Bach:
You’re worrying too much about it. Just let it go and…enjoy yourself. That’s the key to it all, friend.

Tornado:
…You're weird, man.

Azaria:
Well, now we know what got The Machines on Tornado’s side in the first.

Silver:
You mean besides the big Total Mayhem paycheck?

Nemesis:
Hell, I could name worse guns for hire than Anderson and Hill.

Azaria:
I’m not sure if that money’s worth it if they can’t even get along, though.

Silver:
The money is always worth it, Kyle.

Elimination rules. The final two men standing will face Aaron Andrews for the All Action Championship

This was typical All Action fare. Fast paced exciting, it was a great way to hype the fans for the upcoming title match.

The only thing not exactly typical was Edd Stone, who just did not seem like himself. His recent problems with Freddy Huggins finally seemed to catch up with him, and he appeared a bit depressed the entire match. Still, he was able to garner the first elimination. Freddy Huggins cracked the steal ailing-Davis Wayne with a Huggins Kiss (Super Kick), and Edd came flying off to hit a shooting star press to eliminate the young Canadian.

Elimination #1: Davis Wayne

Huggins seemed exceptionally pissed that Edd “stole” his pinfall, and as soon as Edd gained his feet, cracked him with a Huggins Kiss as well, leading to him eliminating Edd from the match. With that elimination, it looks like their friendship might just finally be over, for realsies.

Elimination #2: Edd Stone

The final four squared off now, with the two masked men taking the initiative and charging one another. ACID got the better of the exchange, hitting a spinning back kick to drop Cobra, but Chance Fortune was there to hit him with a Pump Kick in turn. That was followed immediately by a Huggins Kiss on Fortune, and Freddy was able to eliminate Chance from the match!

Elimination #3: Chance Fortune

Freddy tried a quick pin on ACID but the mysterious Hellfire Club member kicked out at two. He then decided to turn his attention on the just-rising Cobra, running at him and leaping into the air for a rana. Cobra countered, though, and ended up powerbombing Huggins into the turnbuckle!

Huggins wisely rolled under the ropes to the floor before Cobra could cover him, effectively securing his spot in the title match, as Cobra quickly turned his attention to ACID, dropping him with a Black Cobra Bomb in short order, eliminating him from the match.

Elimination #4: ACID

Huggins and Cobra win, 74
.

Azaria:
Black Cobra and Freddy Huggins make it to the championship bout, but Huggins did it by finally pulling the trigger and blasting Edd Stone.

Silver:
Edd was an idiot to trust him that long anyway.

Nemesis:
I gotta agree with Sara. There ain’t no such thing as friends in this business. Just means to an end, and that’s all Edd Stone was to Freddy Huggins.

Azaria:
We can continue this discussion later, though, because here comes the All Action Champ, Aaron Andrews, and he’s ready for his defense!

Ace Andrews made his way to the ring immediately after the last match, and he nearly ended it as soon as he got there. Sliding into the ring, he was able to surprise Black Cobra and blast him with a spinebuster, but the masked man was able to kick out!

Annoyed, Andrews bailed to the outside and retrieved Freddy Huggins, sending his worn out body right back into the ring. He followed up with a slingshot splash on Huggins, but Cobra was there to break it up, and it was at this point that the match became truly exciting. The three of them were able to feed off one another, and there were a lot of multi man moves that had the crowd on the feet, including a German suplex/sunset flip combo that nearly resulted in a double win for Cobra/Huggins.

The finish came when Andrews ducked a Huggins Kiss, countered that with a spinebuster, and turned right into a boot to the gut from Cobra. Cobra immediately followed up with a Black Cobra Bomb, pinning Andrews for the 1, 2, 3, and winning the All Action Championship!

Black Cobra wins the belt, 82
.

Nemesis:
Hell of a match. This is what TCW’s about.

Silver:
Kind of cheap of Andrews, though, don’t you think? Starting the match immediately after they just wrestled four other guys?

Azaria:
Maybe, but it didn’t pay off for him in the end.

Backstage, the camera cuts to Wolf Hawkins, already changed out of his ring gear and wearing his leather jacket with a TV on the Radio t-shirt underneath. He’s strutting around backstage with a beer in hand when Jasmine Saunders catches up to him.

Saunders:
Hey, Wolf. Congratulations on the win tonight.

Hawkins:
Save it, Jasmine. Congratulations are only for accomplishments. I’ve beaten Vessey twice now, it’s not anything to brag about.

Saunders:
Well…that may be so, but the purse you just collected says otherwise. How are you planning to celebrate?

Hawkins grinned.

Hawkins:
The only way I know how: big. And since I got Vessey’s loser's purse in addition to my winner's purse, I’m going all out tonight. I’ll see you on Tuesday, but tonight, I’m gonna be howling at the moon.

Nemesis:
Wolf walks away a very rich man tonight, and Vessey eaves with nothing. Ain’t that a *****?

Azaria:
I don’t think you can say that, Nemesis.

Nemesis:
This is pay-per-view, boy, I can say whatever the hell I feel like.

Triple threat tags are always fun due to the constantly shifting alliances. One tag member may agree to work with someone that his partner turns on immediately, and it creates an interesting dynamic as everyone becomes just that much more paranoid.

“Nasty” Nate in particular was very vocal about this aspect of the match, constantly crying foul anytime someone changed their mind about a double team.

The match went right down the middle for the most part, with someone always there to break up a pin in the early going. But as it wore on, the match quickly devolved into chaos, and when Dragon #1 tossed Sean Deeley to the outside, Nasty Nate and Machine Gun Mason quickly converged at his point of impact. Seeing them all clustered together, Dragon #2 took a running start and did a flip over the top rope, taking out Mason and Real Appeal in move move.

This left just Matt Keith and Dragon #1 in the ring as the legal men. With just everyone else lying in a heap at ringside, Matt saw the perfect opportunity to utilize the most dangerous maneuver in his arsenal, and he quickly locked #1 down in a Proton Lock, and the submission victory came just a few seconds later with no one around to break the hold.

Matt & Mason win, 83.

Azaria:
What a preview of things to come for our tag team division!

Nemesis:
I ain’t gonna lie, I’m damn proud I’m building this division up. When I got here there was a lot of talent on top, but not much to see at the bottom. That ain’t the case anymore.

Silver:
More importantly, it looks like Matt Keith didn’t cave under pressure for once. I’d like to see him use something other the Proton Lock for once, though.

This time as the camera cuts to the back, the locker room of Joey Minnesota, RDJ, Rocky Golden, and Ben Benson, hereby known as Team Freedom Fighters, is shown, revealing them to be preparing themselves for Total Mayhem.

RDJ:
Really wish I still had that cast on my arm. I could deal some damage with that thing.

Minn:
You don’t need it. I’m the only weapon we need in there. Nothing else compares.

Benson:
Hey now, don’t get carried away. I’d take a steel chair down to the ring if I could.

Minnesota snapped.

Minn:
Was I talking to you? No? Then shut up.

Golden:
Hey, Joey, settle down man, we’re on your side.

Minn:
Settle down? That’s the one thing I can’t do. I WON’T do. DO you think Troy Tornado’s calm right now? No, he isn’t. And if I’m going to break him like I want, like I need to, then I can’t be calm, either. This emotion is real. I’m not faking this. This is who I am. Last month, I gave Troy a taste of it and beat him to bits. Tonight, I don’t care who he pays to stand in my way, I will feed him every bit of my rage. I’m tired of being disrespected, and it all stops here.

RDJ:
Joey, no one disrespects you. That’s just how Troy is. It’s not the norm.

Joey spun on RDJ.

Minn:
And what would you know? Everyone respects you. You’re the “Total Legend.” You don’t know what it’s like, scraping and clawing for every bit of recognition. I’ve done it long enough. Tonight, I’m done. Tonight, I make Tornado realize his mistake. Tonight, I make people take notice of the talent that is Joey Minnesota.

Silver:
Well, he sure doesn’t seem happy.

Azaria:
All that emotion, is that good for him, Nemesis?

Nemesis:
Eh, it really depends. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Minnesota fight full throttle yet, so we just gotta find out. Some guys make it work for themselves, and others end up shooting themselves in the feet. If he can channel all that energy, though, he’ll knock the **** out of anyone in that ring with him.

vs
for the Tag Team Championship

With Guide’s return came a renewed focus on what this feud is really about: tag team wrestling. The New Wave and The Specialists have both developed a special bond with their partners after years of competition, and this was the perfect stage to display that.

Guide and Scout’s perfect blend of calculated rage was in full effect as the match kicked off, and their much older opponents were on the ropes more than a few times in the early going. But when Scout attempted a sleeper hold on a still relatively fresh Joel Bryant, Bryant immediately turned the tables on him and tagged out before hitting an assisted German suplex on him with Oxford.

From here, it was nearly all The Specialist’s match, with just a little bit of offense coming from The New Wave. Guide was kept almost entirely out of the match, being baited in a few times to distract the ref so that Oxford and Bryant could hand out a bit of prison justice to Scout. At one such point, Scout was finally able to fight back, ducking under a clothesline from Oxford and hitting a charging boot on Bryant. He spun around, kicked Oxford’s knee out from under him, and hit him with a running boot.

Slowly crawling out to his corner, Scout finally made the tag, and Guide immediately hit the ring, destroying both of his opponents with brutal precision. When it seemed like he could do no more damage, he proved everyone wrong and nailed Oxford with a Guided Missile (Spear), tearing the veteran virtually in half. The pin afterward was academic, as Bryant was in no position to break it up.

The New Wave retain, 86

Nemesis:
Damn, I love watching them!

Azaria:
Not to take anything away from The Specialists, right? They turned in a good performance, too.

Silver:
I thought they were going to take the win for a minute there.

They wasted no time in tearing into one another for this match. Fists flew, teeth were bared, hair was pulled, and blood was spilled. Ino and Peak just didn’t seem to care, fighting it out on the floor and eventually into the crowd. The ref, annoyed with it but resigned to the fact that he just couldn’t do anything about ti, decided to stop counting them out when it became clear they didn’t care.

This wasn’t about a match for Ino and Peak, it was about beating the other man. That’s where both men excel, and their particular talents were in full effect tonight.

The match was split fairly down the middle until Peak, blood dripping down over his eye, set Ino up against the ring post on the outside and rushed in, lifting his boot up and crushing Ino’s painted face against the steel. From here on, the match was a complete domination for Peak, as he opened up a wound across Ino’s forehead and continually targeted it until finally, mercilessly dropping him with a Peak of Perfection (Crucifix powerbomb) to score the win.

Peak wins, 83.

After the match, Peak bailed to the outside, causing the ring crew to scatter until he could find a microphone. Satisfied with what he got, he rolled back into the ring and crawled over to Ino’s prone form, laying down on his back across Ino’s chest. Staring up into the lights, his hair stained pink and blood pooling around his head, Peak began to speak.

Peak:
The bloodletting is just beginning. I have tasted life, and I admit, I’ve developed something of an addiction for it. Watching a man slowly drip, drip, drip…drip……drip…until nothing is left…

Peak laughed, closing his eyes.

Peak:
Isn’t it fascinating? Seeing it once isn’t enough. I want to—need to—see it again. It drives me. It fuels me.

Peak once again fell into a fit of laughter, dropping the mic to the mat as he threw his arms out over to his side, still lying on top of the unconscious Ino.

Nemesis:
Well I’ll be damned…

Silver:
You’re the one who told him to keep this stuff up.

Nemesis:
Now that ain’t true.

Azaria:
Umm, sir, you told him that on your first night here.

Nemesis:
It was my first night, boy! I didn’t know better than to do that. This ain’t the same Peak I knew in DaVE.

Montero and Alexander started off, going just about even before tagging out to their respective big men. Fonz and Smith went into monster mode, both trying to knock the other to the ground, with both proving unsuccessful until Fonz finally knocked Smith on his ass following a big shoulder block. Smith scrambled back, tagging out to Leone, with Fonz doing the same to Taylor.

The two barely had time to clash before the match erupted into chaos, with both teams filling the ring. The ref did all he could to restore order, finally getting Montero and Smith and Party Down out of the ring. Taylor capitalized on the chaos, taking control of Leone. When attempting a butterfly suplex, Leone countered, using leverage to remain on the ground. He broke the arm locks, booted Taylor in the gut, flipped him off, and dropped him with a Blue Light Special. While he covered him to score the pinfall, Montero and Smith hit the ring, dropping Alexander and Fonz with a rana and lariat, respectively.

Leone, Montero, and Smith win, 78.

Azaria:
TCW’s young talent take another victory with that match.

Silver:
Now we’ve had a lot of new blood come in in recent months, and I’d say these three are among the top. You sgned Leone personally, didn’t you, Nemesis?

Nemesis:
You’re damn right I did. Leone’s a kid that gets the job done. He doesn’t care what it takes, and I’m glad to have him around here.

Before the co-main event of the evening, the camera segues to Jasmine Saunders’s interview area, where she’s standing by with World Champion Sam Keith. Sam’s ready for battle, intensity plastered on his face and his title belt wrapped securely around his waist.

Saunders:
First of all, Sam, congratulations on holding the title for four months. That’s an impressive accomplishment.

Sam doesn’t respond.

Saunders:
Moving on, how do you plan to beat Tommy Cornell tonight? A lot of people are saying he’s your toughest test yet.

Keith:
How I plan on beating Tommy is simple. I’m going to put him on his back and make him tap out to the Proton Lock. Some people may say that it’s a mistake for me to be upfront with my gameplan like this, but I say they don’t know anything. It doesn’t matter if Tommy knows my gameplan. He can’t stop it, and he can’t stop me. He’s my toughest test yet, yeah, but I’m the World Champion. That means one thing: I’m the best wrestler in the world. I fear nothing and I lose to no one. I heard Tommy’s interview on Showcase last night. He’s already looking forward to the after party, but he’s looking at it all wrong. In his vision, he’s on top of the world with this belt on his shoulder. In real life, when he takes off those rose tinted glasses, it’s me with the title held high, and him sitting in the corner, alone, nursing his wounds.

Nemesis:
That’s the type of intensity I like.

Azaria:
I can’t wait for that match!

Silver:
Well, you’re going to have to, because Total Mayhem is next!

Before anyone made their way to the ring, the lights in the arena dimmed, spotlighting the ring as the Total Mayhem was lowered down around it. It fit snugly around the ring, extending the apron several feet with its insidious steel grating.

A camera angle focused in on the bottom of the cell, slowly panning up and around, revealing the full dome, the imposing steel bars painted a dark black. The crowd was nearly silent as they took in the spectacle of Total Mayhem, and then erupted when Joey Minnesota’s War Pigs entrance music blasted through the speakers.

vs
in Total Mayhem

The two sides stood in lines facing each other as the ring bell rang. Clearly, there as a bit of apprehension as the match started. Just when it seemed they would never engage, though, RDJ, Golden, and Benson charged forward, meeting The Machines and Bach in the center of the ring. Tornado looked a bit surprised, but Joey Minnesota seemed unfazed, walking forward through the war in the ring to meet Tornado on his side, delivering a series of hard forearm shots to the unprepared rock star.

Tornado eventually retaliated with strikes of his own, but the momentum was already on Minnesota’s side. Minnesota whipped Tornado around, sending him colliding in John Anderson. Ben Benson, who was already engaged with Anderson, reacted by joining Minnesota in laying boots to both of them.

Meanwhile, Hill was busy with RDJ and Golden with Bach. RDJ charged Hill, but The Machine was able to pull the top rope, sending RDJ flipping over and onto the unforgiving steel surface surrounding the ring. He followed RDJ out and delivered a big suplex to the Total Legend tht left both men clutching at their backs. At the same time, Bach hit Golden with a rana that left him draped over the middle rope, resting. Bach took a running skirt, skirting around Minnesota, Benson, Tornado, and Anderson, leapt over the top rope, and brought his foot down on the back of Golden’s head in a brutal stomp. He dragged Golden out by his head, still draped over the middle rope, and dropped him with a huge DDT on the steel surface, opening up a cut over his head! With everyone else occupied, Bach saw this as a golden opportunity, and covered Golden to score the first point for his team!

Freedom Fighters 0 – Rock Stars 1

Minnesota was shocked when he heard the scoring announcement, and immediately went to the outside to take care of Bach. After a series of hard forearm shots, Joey slammed Bach face first into the cage wall and followed up with a back suplex. He never went down with Bach, however, instead choosing to simply drop him from his peak position.

What Joey didn’t realize as that he had left Benson alone in the ring Tornado and Anderson, and as he turned his attention from Bach back to the action in the ring, he witnessed Troy Tornado look at him, smile and wave, and then drill Benson with a Rock of Ages piledriver (Inverted piledriver). Minnesota roared as he leapt back into the ring, but Anderson blindsided him, preventing him from breaking the cover.

Freedom Fighters 0 – Rock Stars 2

Anderson and Tornado proceeded to double team Minnesota as Benson rolled out of harm’s way. Just having slammed Brent Hill onto the steel grating outside, RDJ turned his attention back to the action of the ring and joined the fray, evening the odds in the ring.

With RDJ at his side, Minnesota was able to gain back his bearing, trading blows with both Tornado and Anderson. After RDJ hit Tornado with a particularly stiff right hand, Minnesota rolled Troy up from behind, scoring just a two count. When Tornado got to his feet, though, he fell victim to a Minnesota Salute (charging forearm blow) that sent Tornado tumbling over the ropes and out of the ring. With just Anderson in the ring now, it was easy for RDJ to wrap Anderson up and plaster him with Southern Justice (Uranage) to score a pinfall!

Freedom Fighters 1 – Rock Stars 2

Meanwhile, outside the ring, Sammy Bach began to climb up the cage wall as Rocky Golden stirred. Golden’s face was dripping blood after being planted into the steel grating, and he was too woozy to prevent Bach’s ascent. Across the ring, Ben Benson spied Bach making his way up, and rushed to climb up his own side.

Brent Hill, unseen by both Minn and RDJ, was able to climb to the top turnbuckle and leap off, hitting both men with a missile dropkick. He attempted to cover RDJ immediately, but only scored a two count, and got the same result when he covered Minn a second later. Dragging RDJ to his feet, he lifted him up into a vertical suplex and dropped him right on top of Minn before going right back to the top rope. Standing tall, he called for the King of the Hill splash, but just before he took flight, Rocky Golden appeared to push him off the top and down on to the steel grating outside the ring!

At the same time, Benson and Bach had reached the peak of the cell and had begun to monkey bar across, staring one another down with nasty intent. When they reached in the center of the ring, they began to kick on another viscously, swing their bodies to gain momentum.

At the same time, Troy Tornado dropkicked Rocky Golden on the outside and followed up with leaping knee drop.

Just when it looked like Bach would knock Benson to the mat some 20-odd feet below, Benson shifted his body to the side, causing Bach’s kick to miss wide. The momentum created put him off balance, and Benson was able to deliver one more kick to send him crashing to his doom. A split second later, and Benson was falling after him, driving his elbow right through Bach’s heart! With Benson’s body racked and unable to make the cover, it came to Minnesota to make it, and Joey crawled slowly over to Bach, draping a single arm over his chest. That was all it would take, as Bach appeared to be completely out, and Minnesota evened up the score as the time limit ticked past the twenty five minute mark, indicating the final five minutes.

Freedom Fighters 2 – Rock Stars 2

The score was now even, and bodies were piling up. Golden’s face was dripping blood, Brent Hill clutched at his ribs outside the ring, and Bach and Benson both lay unmoving in the ring as a result of their crash.

Troy Tornado crouched outside the ring, creeping around as he watched RDJ, Minn, and Anderson stirring in the ring. Minnesota and RDJ weren’t about to let Anderson create any momentum for himself, and quickly pounced on him, sending him back and forth between one another with right hands and forearms. Tornado, not liking what he was seeing, wisely remained outside the ring. Positioned behind RDJ, he gripped the top rope, bringing it down, and when Joey Minnesota forearmed Anderson, sending him back to RDJ, Anderson smartly tackled RDJ over the rope, opening up the chance for Tornado to springboard off the ropes, aiming his forearm right at Minn’s head for a Starmaker…and missing!

Minnesota took a page out of Sam Keith’s playbook and dropped to his back, using Tornado’s momentum to roll backward, tying Troy’s legs up as he did so. Completing the roll through, Minnesota ended up seated on Tornado’s back, the Minnesota Cloverleaf locked in! On the outside, RDJ slammed down Anderson with Southern Justice on the steel, and quickly got back in the ring, guarding Minn as the time ticked down.

It would prove unnecessary, as the only opponent looking to break the hold was time itself, and it seemed to slow itself as Joey ripped Tornado’s legs and back apart, causing the latter to scream out in pure agony. Tornado’s face contorted as he gripped at his hair, pulling on it and trying to move past the pain of the hold, but it eventually proved to be just too much, and Tornado tapped out as the time limit hit 29:24.

Freedom Fighters 3 – Rock Stars 2

Even with Troy tapping, Joey refused to break the hold as the time ticked down, eventually hitting the thirty minute mark, indicating the end of the match.

The Freedom Fighters win, 3-2. 91

The entire time Joey held the hold, RDJ was trying his damnedest to convince him to release it. Troy already tapped, he reasoned, it was done. But Joey wouldn’t listen, and only cranked back that much more on the hold, eliciting agonizing screams from Troy’s mouth. Finally, RDJ grabbed Joey’s shoulders and forced him off of Tornado.

It’s over, he could be heard saying. Let’s go.

And RDJ did, stepping through the ropes and indicating to the ref to unchain the cell door. After a moment, Joey followed him, but it wasn’t to leave.

Without provocation, Joey grabbed RDJ from behind and spiked him with an Empire Spiral on the steel grating!

Joey dropped to his knees over RDJ’s prone form, screaming in his face, “I do it my way! MY WAY!”

Spit flew from his mouth, mixing with the sweat that dripped from his forehead onto the face of RDJ as he got just inches from him. Joey’s eyes were popping from his head when he finally stood, pushing the referee to the side and walking from the cage, the lone man walking away from the carnage of Total Mayhem.

Azaria:
Oh my God…

Nemesis:
Get some damn EMTs down here!

Silver:
What did we just see?

Nemesis:
Is anyone back there listening? My wrestlers need attention!

Azaria:
I’m not sure what just happened…

Nemesis:
Damn it!

To cover time for the ring to be cleared and the wrestlers to be helped to the back, a video package reviewing the Sam Keith/Tommy Cornell rivalry was put on loop. Finally, almost fifteen minutes later, it cut to black suddenly, and Back in Black burst from the arena speakers to a raucous reception.

vs
for the World Championship

Following the spectacle that was just put on would be a near impossible feat for most men, but Sam Keith and Tommy Cornell proved that they can follow anything and do that much better with this main event.

One of the important aspects of Keith’s career has been his travel, and he’s learned to work every style in the world in that time. North American traditional, Mexican lucha libra, Japanese puroresu, and even Wigan style shooting are all styles that he’s comfortable with, and he’s blended them over the years to create one of the most versatile and effective offenses in the world. Most men are unable to match his sheer knowledge, but Tommy Cornell is a far cry from most men, and was able to surprise even Keith with what he was able to pull off.

The match was dead even heading into the late twenty minutes-mark when Cornell took a risk heading to the top rope. He dove off, attempting to blast Keith with his 6 Inch Shrink (diving head chop), but Keith was able to cross his hands over his head and block it. With Tommy on wobbly legs after his landing, Keith hit him with a low dropkick that brought him to his knees. Running the ropes, Keith came back with a huge lariat that folded the kneeling Cornell over. He covered him, scoring a one…two…kick out!

Keith dragged Tommy to his feet, but only received a series of blade chops for his troubles. Tommy Forced him into the corner, where he was eventually able to hang him upside down in a tree of woe position. From here, Tommy unloaded on Sam with punches and kicks, pulling off his Hung Jury series. For an exclamation point on it, he took a running start, dropkicking the defenseless Keith right in the jaw. He unhooked his foot, releasing him, and covered him lazily, scoring a one…two…kick out!

Tommy, furious, got right up in the referee’s face, complaining of a slow count. Meanwhile, Sam had crawled up behind him, slowly getting into position. Once sure he was safe to pull it off, Sam rolled Tommy up, and the referee quickly got to counting for him, counting one…two…kick out! Tommy and Sam immediately popped up, with Tommy winding back for a big right hand, but Sam caught him as he came in, tossing him overhead with a Neutron Plex! Immediately, Sam pounced, twisting Tommy’s legs up before turning him over and bridging backwards to grip his head, locking in the Proton Lock! Tommy fought violently to reach the ropes, but eventually, everyone taps to the Proton Lock, and Tommy became just another victim of the hold as he tapped the mat, signaling his submission.

Sam retains, 95.

Total Mayhem definitely shook up the TCW hierarchy, and the first Total Wrestling following one of TCW's flagship PPV's should be a doozy as a result.

Kicking off the show will be the mysterious Black Cobra, defending his his newly won All Action Championship against one of the men he beat to win it, Freddy Huggins. Huggins for some reason is convinced that Cobra is none other than Duane Stone, and that's a point that's caused a lot of resentment between Huggins, Cobra, and Edd Stone.

After their win at Total Mayhem, Matt Keith and MG Mason will also be in action, taking on the team of Buffalo and Genghis Rahn. Also in action will be the Samoan Bulldozer, Rhino Umaga, as he attempts to topple a battle-worn Rocky Golden.

The co-main event of the evening will feature Josh Taylor as he clashes with none other than Tommy Cornell. Cornell took offense to the fact that Taylor gave and interview to TCW.com running down the three men he's been mentoring (Kid Leone, Gino Montero, and Brandon Smith) even after losing to them at Total Mayhem.

In the main event, Bryan Vessey, Koshiro Ino, Ben Benson, and Wolf Hawkins will all battle one another in a fatal fourway. The last time Hawkins and Vessey found themselves in a four way match, Hawkins actually left the ring, allowing Vessey to win the match. This time, however, they find themselves in the main event, and that's a lot less likely to happen.

Also, expect to see Eddie Peak in action and the next challenger to Sam Keith's World Championship to be named. Not only that, but Joey Minnesota will address the fans after his actions at Total Mayhem.

Black Cobra © vs Freddy Huggins for the title

New Champion losing his first defense is really rare.

??? vs Eddie Peak

Peak just beat Ino and he can have a feud with almost anyone with his character. New wrestler wins and Peak begins the Bloodgames.

Matt & Mason vs Buffalo & Rahn

The Proton Machine Guns will benefit from a feud against them.

Rocky Golden vs Rhino Umaga

Rocky has been made to look like a bitch which he deserves due to his skills at the moment. He still needs a few wins here and there.

Josh Taylor vs Tommy Cornell

He's the boss.

Ben Benson vs Bryan Vessey vs Koshiro Ino vs Wolf Hawkins

Sam needs a challenger and a loss to the World Champion doesn't hurt Hawkins character.

Black Cobra © vs Freddy Huggins for the title

Duan--err Black Cobra just won so I expect a clean win or a DQ (mask rip or something)

??? vs Eddie Peak

I could see ??? winning by DQ as well. But Eddie's my pick because he's a monster.

Matt & Mason vs Buffalo & Rahn

More upside.

Rocky Golden vs Rhino Umaga

Umaga aint quite ready for even an ran-through Golden--who could be more dangerous now.

Josh Taylor vs Tommy Cornell

Boss might have lossed at the PPV but he'll gain his swagger back like it never happened after beating Taylor.

Ben Benson vs Bryan Vessey vs Koshiro Ino vs Wolf Hawkins

Time to start that run!

<em>First defense and Cobra is one of your favorites so I doubt he drops the belt.</em></p><p> </p><p>

??? vs <strong>Eddie Peak</strong></p><p>

<em>I was expecting Ino to form a speed bump for Peak but that didn´t happen so hard to see a new guy being able to do much, unless Peak gets DQ loss.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Matt & Mason vs <strong>Buffalo & Rahn</strong></p><p>

<em>Buffalo & Rahn aren´t great wrestlers but they are more established and had a title shot not too long ago so I go with them.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rocky Golden</strong> vs Rhino Umaga</p><p>

<em>Sure Rocky have had some tough times but surely he´s still above Umaga?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Josh Taylor vs <strong>Tommy Cornell</strong></p><p>

<em>Taylor haven´t been able to get a single win against Leone despite multiple tries so he isn´t going to beat Cornell either.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Ben Benson vs <strong>Bryan Vessey</strong> vs Koshiro Ino vs Wolf Hawkins</p><p>

<em>I though that Wolf beating Vessey second time would have ended their feud but this match makes me believe that it´s still going, which means that Wolf needs to get some reason to fight Vessey again. Vessey winning here would go to that direction.</em></p>

So I've decided to not do entrance music on TV anymore. PPV only, yes sir!

Jason Azaria—Kyle Rhodes—Sara Silver

Azaria:
TCW’s Total Mayhem event was held just two days ago, and there’s a lot questions to be answered. Who will emerge as the next challenger for Sam Keith’s World Championship? How are the eight Total Mayhem competitors going to operate after that brutal match?

Rhodes:
And just why did Joey Minnesota spike RDJ into the mat?

Silver:
The most important question, I’d say. RDJ isn’t here tonight, but Joey will be, and I’m expecting answers.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JoeyMinnesota_alt1.jpg

Sara Silver and Kyle Rhode’s question was indeed answered, and in the opening.

After the show’s opening pyro display, the camera cut to an unspecified location. The room was barely lit, but the silhouette of a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt could be seen. After a moment, he began to speak, and it became clear it was Joey Minnesota from his voice.

Minn:
There comes a time in every man’s life where he has to decide: do I want to be a good man, or do I want to be a great man?

Minnesota inhaled deeply, still looking at the ground.

Minn:
I made my decision. I want to be a great man. I AM a great man. I want everyone that steps into that ring with me to know that they are standing across from a man on an entirely different level. I want them to know that the gap from their skills to mine is insurmountable. I want to see the fear in their eyes, their lips trembling as I step toward them. I want them to feel the aura of a living legend, to know that no matter what they do, they can’t. Beat. Me.

Minnesota finally looked up, facing the camera.

Minn:
But that’s not all. I want to be revered as a wrestling god. I want to be worshipped as the deity that I am. Men will bow to me when they step between those ropes. They will kiss my feet, and they will sacrifice themselves. If they choose not to, then they will find that I am a vengeful god. There is no room for mercy in my realm. Ricky wanted mercy. He wanted me to let bygones be bygones and let Troy Tornado go. Obviously, that didn’t happen, and now we’ve been reached the point we’re at now. I didn’t want to hurt Ricky. He made me do that. But now, I don’t care. I’ve stepped out from under his shadow. Ricky Dale Johnson is no longer the longer the Total Legend. I am. And that’s not a title I’m going to let go of. Ever.

Azaria:
Wow.

Silver:
Joey certainly thinks highly of himself.

Rhodes:
And he expects everyone to see him in exactly the same light.

Silver:
They should, too. He’s one of the best wrestlers in the world. North, West, South, and certainly East.

Black Cobra © vs Freddy Huggins for the All Action Championship

The first match of the show featured Black Cobra defending his belt against one of the men he beat to win it, Freddy Huggins.

The match was lightning fast, but Cobra and Huggins were able to retain picture perfect technique despite that. Freddy did well utilizing his many aerial attacks, but the difference maker here ended up being the technical abilities of Cobra. When Huggins couldn’t get airborne, Cobra was ripping him apart on the mat, and ended up finishing the match with an Alabaster Agony (Surfboard/dragon sleeper), forcing Huggins to submit.

Cobra retains, 74.

Azaria:
Solid first defense by Cobra.

Silver:
Don’t take anything away from Huggins. He almost won that a couple of times!

Rhodes:
But he didn’t.

Silver:
My point still stands.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/EddiePeak.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Acid.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/AmericanBuffalo.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/GhenghisRahn.jpg

The entirety of The Hellfire Club stood in the ring for the next segment. Rahn and Buffalo did their best to stand about menacingly, ACID bugged out as he paced around the ring, and Eddie Peak stood still in the center of the ring.

Peak:
Sunday night, I drained Koshiro Ino dry, and I enjoyed every last moment of it. Tonight, he puts his name forth in a bid to challenge for the World Championship, and I wish him all the luck in the world, I really do. But…he won’t win. After Sunday, he’s not the same. His blood has been sacrificed, and he has been changed. But even more than that, he gave me a gift. He opened my eyes, and made me see the beauty in the crimson. Ino, I have just two things to say to you: thank you, and good luck.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Mimic.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/EddiePeak.jpg

Charlie Estevez vs Eddie Peak

Local competitor Charlie Estevez came out the ring looking quite nervous. The kid that looked like he was still stuck in 1993 seemed to be well aware of Peak’s reputation, and was not looking forward to getting in the ring. Unfortunately, he had no choice as ACID, Buffalo, and Rahn closed in on at ringside.

Once in the ring, Peak absolutely brutalized Estevez. Peak eventually undid the turnbuckle cover, and slammed Estevez’s head into it, even after the referee warned him not to. The referee then told Peak there would be no more warnings, but the damage was already done. Blood had begun to trickle down Estevez’s forehead, and when Peak began to grind his forearm into his open wound, Estevez was quick to verbally submit.

Peak dominates en route to a win, 76
.

Rhodes:
This Estevez kid really didn’t stand a chance.

Silver:
He got a paycheck, but I don’t think it was exactly worth it.

Azaria:
He might be better off going to New England if he wants an easy payday.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Nemesis_alt1.jpg

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/BennyBenson.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/BryanVessey.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/KoshiroIno.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/WolfHawkins_alt22.jpg

Nemesis’s office was the next scene of action, as the stuffy old GM of TCW sat behind his desk, looking at Ben Benson, Bryan Vessey, Koshiro Ino, and Wolf Hawkins.

Nemesis:
Now, a couple of you really deserve this shot. You’ve been impressive as hell lately. I see that and the fans see that. But some of you—

Nemesis looked from Ino to Vessey.

Nemesis:
--are only here because you stepped up. I may not feel great about it, but I reward wrestlers that are man enough to step up. That’s what this is. You stepped up when I made the call, and that’s why you’re here. If you win tonight, good on you, you earned it. But if you lose, then all I know is that I was right about you.

Nemesis:
But if, and I mean if, you win, you shoot right to the main event of Excessive Force. That’s a shot at the World Championship, boys. Don’t blow it.

Hawkins smirked as he stood up.

Hawkins:
Don’t worry, boss. I got this. See you ladies later.

Hawkins left the room as Nemesis coughed.

Nemesis:
Anyone else got anything something to say?

Benson stood up, rigid.

Benson:
Yes, sir. I just want to thank you for this opportunity. I’ve been working really hard, and—

Nemesis:
That’s enough, kid.

Benson:
Yes, sir.

Now Ino spoke up, speaking in Japanese.

Nemesis:
What’d he say?

Vessey:
He says thank you for the second chance. He says he won’t let you down this time. Neither will I, for that matter.

Nemesis:
Is that so?

Vessey:
Yeah, it is.

Silver:
Well, I guess that explains how losers like Vessey and Ino got in the match: they begged for it!

Azaria:
Sara, those are two of the top wrestlers in the company.

Silver:
Top wrestlers? When’s the last time either won a meaningful match?

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Nemesis_alt1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TroyTornado_alt22.jpg

Coming back from commercial, we’re still in Nemesis’s office, where the GM is in mid-conversation with a hobbled Troy Tornado.

Tornado:
But I’m your number one star, Nemesis!

Nemesis:
But nothing, boy. You’re on crutches for another month and a half, I ain’t got any need for you right now.

Tornado:
What if I announce, or, or…

Nemesis:
Hell no. I don’t need your loud mouth going for every minute we’re on air. So why don’t you use your little crutches to help you get back on the plane and fly back home. Rehab your ankle and then get back to me.

Tornado glared.

Tornado:
I’ll be back.

Nemesis:
Good.

Tornado turned and began hobbling away.

Tornado:
Not for you.

Azaria:
For those of you who don’t know, Troy Tornado actually snapped his ankle at the end of Total Mayhem last night when he attempted to springboard off of the top rope. The slip up is actually what led to Joey Minnesota locking on the Minnesota Cloverleaf and scoring the decisive point in the match.

Silver:
A month and a half without the most charismatic wrestler in TCW? Please, God, help me out here.

Rhodes:
I’m sure he’ll still be doing his segment on TCW.com.

Silver:
Whatever capacity he’s used in, it’s guaranteed to be a better use than anyone out East could think of.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/MatthewKeith.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/StevenParker.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/AmericanBuffalo.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/GhenghisRahn.jpg

Matt & Mason vs Buffalo & Rahn

Their leader, Eddie Peak, dominated earlier tonight, and Buffalo and Rahn tried to carry that momentum into their tag team match. Unfortunately, they met a team of two increasingly confident and very talented youngsters in Matt Keith and MG Mason.

The big men tried to overwhelm them early on, but technique ended up conquering all as Matt and Mason quickly turned it around on them, and Mason was able to drill Rahn with a 21 Gun Salute (Tiger Driver) to score the win as Matt kept Buffalo busy on the outside.

Matt & Mason win, 73.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Nemesis_alt1.jpg

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Scout_Self2.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/Guide.jpg

After the match, the camera cut to a scene of tag team champions The New Wave watching the finish on a monitor backstage. As they did so, Nemesis approached, slapping his meaty hands down on each of their shoulders.

Nemesis:
Glad you boys were watching that, because at Excessive Force, you get to face those two, titles on the line. Sound good?

Both Guide and Scout nodded.

Nemesis:
Good. Because you ain’t just fighting them. There’s going to be two other teams in the ring with you, too. The next two weeks, we’re going to have ourselves a couple of elimination matches, and whoever wins those gets a spot in that match, too.

Azaria:
I like this idea a lot, actually. TCW’s got a lot of teams that deserve a shot at the belts and could potentially win.

Silver:
That’s what happens when a company actually cares about their tag division, boys.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/RockyGolden.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/RhinoUmaga_alt1.jpg

Rocky Golden vs Rhino Umaga

Golden wore a bandage over his eye to cover the stitches he received at Total Mayhem, and while that may have been his most obvious injury, he was still ailing on the inside, and was just unable to really get any offense going early on. The result was the previously-slept on Umaga doing a great deal of damage to the former World Champ.

Despite an impressive showing, though, Umaga was unable to get the job done. After missing wide with a Samoan Spike, Umaga found himself the victim of a Rocky Road (spinning back elbow…to the groin!) and was hoisted up into The Rack a short time later. Once in Golden’s patented hold, Umaga had no choice but to give up.

Golden wins, 64.

Rhodes:
Golden had to dig deep, but he gets the job done.

Silver:
Normally I would rag on him, I admit, but after Total Mayhem… I just can’t do that.

Azaria:
Glad to hear that bitter tone out of your voice for once, Sara. It’s nice.

Silver:
Shut up, Jason.

Rhodes:
And there it goes.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/EddStone_alt1.jpg

Backstage, we are treated to the scene of Edd Stone flirting with a craft services worker. She’s doing her best to ignore him, but his charm actually seems to be working on her.

Stone:
Vous êtes belle…

Suddenly, a small ball is thrown into the shot, exploding into a cloud of smoke. The smoke causes both Edd and his lady to friend to scream, and it’s difficult to tell who’s is the more high pitched of the two. The smoke quickly clears, revealing the woman to be gone and Black Cobra standing in her place.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/DuaneStone_alt1.jpg

Stone:
Dude, what the hell! I was totally just about to show her why my last name’s Stone, if you know what I mean.

Cobra:
It’s because it’s your father’s name, Eduardo.

The voice is nearly unintelligible.

Stone:
What? I mean, well, yeah, but there’s other reasons, too…

Edd shook his head rapidly, snapping himself back into the moment.

Stone:
No. No! What are you doing here?

Cobra:
I want a match, Eduardo--

Stone:
--Not my name—

Cobra:
For my belt!

Edd eyed him.

Stone:
Aren’t I supposed to challenge you instead?

Cobra:
Didn’t you?

Stone:
Didn’t I what?

Cobra:
Challenge me.

Stone:
Did I?

Cobra:
Yes.

Stone:
Oh, well, then do you accept?

Cobra:
Yes!

Stone:
Yes!

???:
No, no, no!

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/FreddyHuggins-1.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/LauraCatherineHuggins.jpg

Freddy Huggins stormed into the shot, his sister Laura trailing behind him.

F. Huggins:
I deserve the next shot! Duane—

Edd:
--Duane’s in Halifax, bro—

Huggins:
--Cheated, and I demand my rematch, next week.

Cobra:
No.

Huggins:
What?

Stone:
I think he called you bro.

Huggins:
I’m not your bro, bro.

Cobra:
No!

Cobra then threw down another smoke bomb, which exploded into a cloud of deception as the mysterious super junior disappeared from sight.

Silver:
Huggins definitely deserves a rematch. He’s right, Cobra cheated tonight.

Rhodes:
How did he cheat?

Silver:
If I have to explain it, then you wouldn’t understand anyway.

Azaria:
That’s ridiculous.

Silver:
Is it? Is it really?

Rhodes:
…Yes.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JoshuaTaylor.jpg

Still in the back, the camera cuts to Josh Taylor, who’s sitting down in his street clothes, reading a magazine.

???:
Read anything interesting?

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TommyCornell2.jpg

Taylor looked up to see Tommy Cornell standing over him.

Taylor:
Wha—

Cornell delivered a left hand to Taylor’s jaw, knocking him from the chair.

Cornell:
Heard you’re still talking a bit of trash about my new friends.

He kicked Taylor as he began to stand.

Cornell:
So I decided to teach you a little lesson.

Another kick, and then Cornell lifted Taylor to his feet, rushing him towards the ring.

Cornell:
So tonight—

A body shot.

Cornell:
--We’re gonna have ourselves a little match.

They burst through the curtain and out onto the stage.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/JoshuaTaylor.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/-vs.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/TommyCornell2.jpg

Josh Taylor vs Tommy Cornell

From the moment the bell rang, Cornell dominated. Whether it be through pure skill or through dirty tricks, Cornell simply outclassed Taylor. At one point, he pulled Taylor’s T-shirt over his head and unleashed a brutal flurry of chops and left hands that left Taylor with angry red welts popping up all over his chest.

But as Cornell grew cockier, Taylor grew ballsier, and the youngster started firing off strikes of his own, at one point threating his Royal Butterfly suplex. Cornell broke the double underhooks, though, and it wasn’t soon until Taylor found himself the unwilling victim of a Rough Ride (Rope assisted cutter).

For what was essentially a brutal beatdown, the crowd were extremely for this match.

Cornell wins, 90
.

Silver:
Did anyone think Taylor stood a chance? That’s the greatest wrestler of all time he was in the ring with.

Azaria:
Lest we forget the greatest wrestler of all time lost to Sam Keith Sunday.

Silver:
That’s in the past, Jason. Move on.

http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/RockyGolden.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/SammyBach_alt3jt.jpghttp://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae141/coco_beans08/Sammy%20Heizenger/KarenKiller_alt.jpg

After the virtual beatdown in the ring, the camera shifts once more to the backstage area, spotlighting Rocky Golden walking around, searching for someone. After a moment, it becomes clear he’s looking for Sammy Bach, who just sort of appears out of nowhere after a while, with Karen Killer fawning over him.

Bach:
Looking for me?

Golden stopped dead in his tracks.

Golden:
You’re damn right I am. You know want I want.

Bach:
I want to hear you say it.

Killer:
…Say it…

Golden snapped at her.

Golden:
Shut up. This is between me and him, not your creepy ass. I want another shot Bach. I don’t know why, but I can’t beat you. I know I can, but I can’t. But… just one more shot. That’s all I need from you.

Bach inhaled deeply.

Bach:
It would be…my honor.

Rhodes:
That match will presumably happen at Excessive Force.

Azaria:
We’ll see if Golden an finally get the job done against Sammy Bach. Up to this point, his record is less than impressive against him.

Silver:
Less than impressive? I’ve got the stats, and he’s 2-6-1 in matches where he’s had to compete against Bach. That’s not less than impressive, that’s downright terrible, especially when you consider that one of his only two wins was at Total Mayhem, a match that Bach bloodied him up in and he had nothing to with winning.

Rhodes:
Sara, I think you need to give Golden a little more credit. He’s a former World Champ that’s always competitive in his matches. He’s just a hit a little rough patch.

Silver:
I agree, I just don’t think he can beat Bach, is all. He’d annihilate the competition if he was in that OTHER company, but he’s in TCW, where the competition is a little more fierce.

Ben Benson vs Bryan Vessey vs Koshiro Ino vs Wolf Hawkins for the #1 Contender Spot

An excellent match to cap off the first Total Wrestling after Total Mayhem. Totally awesome.

Ino and Benson were pretty banged up after the beatings they took Sunday night, and were natural targets throughout the match. Benson more so, as the Elbow he delivered to Sammy Bach from the cage ceiling did a ton of damage to his back.

While the natural instinct to target the weak was at the forefront of story telling here, old habits proved to die awfully hard, and Hawkins and Vessey got into quite a bit over the course of the match. Still, both knew what was at stake and did their best to put aside personal animosity to better their chances at winning.

Eventually, Wolf proved to be that much better at doing so, when he easily ducked a Vessey Line and countered with a Full Moon Rising (Charging Enzigiri), before turning his attention to Ben Benson and nailing him with a Wolf’s Call (Full Nelson Suplex) while Ino was lying prone on the arena floor to score the win.

Immediately after the match, Back in Black hit, and Sam Keith made his way to the ring. Sliding under the ropes, he got up in Wolf’s face immediately. Wolf looked him up and down before taking a step backward and making a belt motion around his waist. Sam watched him do this before raising the real belt over his head much to the crowd’s delight, and the show cut to black with the image of the champion and his newest challenger standing face to in the ring.
