The_Widow_Maker
Just wondering what stats effect a characters retirement age because of all the people who retired about 80% retired at 33 years old. They the rest over and a very few under.
Jingo
There is a destiny stat 'Retirement age' think thats probably the main factor probably others ..
The_Widow_Maker
hmm i dont really like playing around with the destiny stats, i hope there is another way. Iam also finding it irritating that most people seem to retire at 33. I know this is the case with some real world fighters but its normally due to poor health or poor pay and people who retire young generally make a comeback. Blackman
You don't like to play around with the 'destiny' stats yet can't stop arguing why the date should be upped? Seems like a contradiction to me. Perhaps you don't understand. It's not tied to destiny. It's simply an option you can configure. If you do it for every fighter, as I don't think there's a massive edit option, they will all retire later. Destiny will remain unchanged. Destiny itself is more like a name for all the randomness that changes each game (at least that's what I made of it). You inscribe in his destiny that he will retire late. In database construction, I also took the liberty of fiddling with them, as it's sometimes just a part of a character.
batsnumbereleven
In the games I've played I hadn't noticed any particular propensity for workers to retire at 33. If anything I would have said that the majority of those that are fighting regularly stay active well into their late 30s.
The_Widow_Maker
Yeah i found this odd too thats why i was wondering what stats govern this. That way i could look at all my fighters and see if there is a similarity.
Blackman
Well it would be logical that fighters who are inactive for over a year feel the need for retirement. Look at Kennedy, who was just thinking about retiring again, following the injury of Rockhold.
