Condors
I have done a few dynasties lately and to be honest they all end up very similar to each other get kc glenn, josh jones, steve flash, chris caufield and try to develope some young talent go from there. If anyone was following my young PSW dynasty i took them to global following pretty much the same tactics as i did in my japan and local to global dynasties. I have been goofing around with games with the house rule of only hiring entertainers as wrestlers. It blocks me from getting alot of my "favorite" workers. I have tried a rockhard and goad to glory games with this setting and it is a bit slow out of the gates. I tend to have to run "gauntlet" cards where my user character fights 3 other guys on the show until we get to small sized. From there its buisness as usual to regional where i can open the wallet up some. This game i went with the easy setting. I have enough popularity to get a PPV deal so i have that with Public Access Network which also covers Canada as well as the United States. Condors
RMW: January attendance 7,034 Jack Avatar and Hells Bouncer argue 60 Handsome Stranger over Oscar Ozymandias 44 Kashmir Singh over Ekuma 37 Genio Verde over Ernie Turner 33 Leper Messiah over Mario Hroic 44 Champagne Lover over Dermot O'Logical 50 Jack Avatar and Hells Bouncer brawl 54 Jack Avatar over Hells Bouncer 65 (title match) Hells Bouncer destroys Jack Avatar 66 Final Rating 59 The show was not horrible considering we have to build up the guys popularity. Steve Smith and Sara Silver have good Chemistry The promotion right now in my eyes is Jack Avatar, Champagne Lover and a bunch of guys. I am curious to see who can seperate themselves from the pack. Hells Bouncer has a 95 menance so he will always be usefull in menace angles. Ernie Turner and Genio Verde can work the mic so they will be around. Some people may see this as working the game but i brought in Hollywood Bret Star and Evil Spirit. They are both young workers i would like to see how they turn out. The reality is they are trouble makers and i am hoping i can get loyalty from another worker by firing them.
Condors
I forgot to change Oscar Ozymmandias Sauve gimmick and it got a 26 rating will have to fix that in 6 months and unleash the disco stud. None of my other gimmicks for my main guys bomed. Dermot O'Logical got a 74 for his skin care gimmick and Genio Verde got a 74 for his comic book villian gimmick which where the next worse. We get a TV Show on The Pop network RMW: Monday Mayham. Our schedule is going to be 9 shows a month a weekly monday A TV show and a wednesday show which will become our B show when we get one and a monthly PPV every 3rd Saturday of the month. I always second guess myself when putting together an event before our guys have leveled out in popularity. Do you go with #1 face vs #1 heel or top Face vs #6 heel or somewhere in between. Last month we hurt our popularity i hope to at least remain stable if not gain some ground this month. I am going with top guy vs top guy popularity wiseand see how it pans out. RMW: February 2010 attendance 5,000 Jack Avatar and Champagne Lover argue 76 Handsome Stranger over Genio Verde 59 Oscar Ozymandias over Ernie Turner 18 (bad chemistry) Kashmir Singh over Ekuma 40 Dermot O'Logical over Mario Heroic 44 Champagne Lover over Leper Messiah 66 Handsome Stranger and Jack Avatar brawl 78 Jack Avatar over Hells Bouncer 74 (title match) Hells Bouncer destroys Jack Avatar 85 Final Rating 71 that is good enough to help our popularity

Condors
It appears 3 of my guys may have capped their psychology Leper Messiah at 60 Handsome Stranger at 61 Genio Verde 68 even at cult sized its bad enough to get dinged. The guys are not worthless but it does take away from the pushes they had gotten. Genio is still usefull on the mic. It stinks that 3 of my big 6 are not exactly prime time players. Champagne Lover and Jack Avatar are looking good Hells Bouncer is improving but has a way to go yet still. Normally i do evaluation at 6 months but I got my first dojo graduate (Jeffery Gellar)and his defualt push is a lower midcarder. He is 2nd on the hot prospect list behind hollywood bret starr. I am going to my performance rating equals push for now My top 3 faces are Jack Avatar, Champagne Lover, and Mario Heroic My top 3 heels are Genio Verde, Kashmir Sigh and Oscar Ozymandias Oscar still needs a gimmick switch. I am not sure how high I can get their popularity before the next PPV but i am going to work on it. (bascially i need to feature Mario Kashmir Sigh and Oscar Ozymandias on my weekly shows and see how things go) RMW June 2010 attendance 10,000 Champagne Lover and Genio Verde argue 92 Genio Verde over Mario Heroic 75 Hells Bouncer over Happy Elwood 65 Leper Messiah over Ernie Turner 80 Handsome Stranger over Dermot O'Logical 81 Champagne Lover over Oscar Ozymandias 84 Handsome Stranger and Leper Messiah brawl 100 Jack Avatar over Kashmir Singh 86 (title match) Hells Bouncer destroys Jack Avatar 100 Final Rating 87 Champagne Lover picked up Chronic Shoulder Pain he can wrestle thru it but i want to try to avoid that as much as possible

We are 6 points away from going national but that isn't my number one concern right now. The roster lacks psychology. We currently have 3 workers with more than 70 that is Jack Avatar, Champagne Lover and Kashmir Singh. It looks like a bunch of guys have capped already. Hopefully a few guys will step up down the road.

White Dolphin
Hells Bouncer over Ekuma 69 Did you find access to the mythical "Infuse crappy one-dimensional brawlers temporarily with the power of Jeremy Stone" road agent note? On another note, could you divulge some magic numbers that you use to get optimal ratings to us, such as the number of minutes you give an up-and-coming worker whos psychology who want increased, the number of minutes you give a promo to a dude whos mic skills you are trying to up, etc
Condors
Hollywood Bret Star is the protege of Genio Verde Running Wolf is the protege of Leper Messiah I sign Robbie Retro as i am tired of seeing him on the hidden gems list I am not sure that was a good move or not yet The Wizard of Ottawa and Leper Messiah have shown up on the time decline list I almost fired Hollywood Bret Star but I dont want to tick off Genio and he may turn into a good in ring performer for me i am going to let him give me the whatever treatment and tell him he disapoints me. Remianen
the number of minutes you give a promo to a dude whos mic skills you are trying to up, etc No promo, interviews work best. Gives you someone for the crappy worker to learn from. Doesn't necessarily have to be an interview either. As long as there's someone else in the segment the bad worker can learn from. So pre-match "look at what this guy did" type angles ("MY GAWD, King!") work as well, as long as the "bad" worker is onscreen. 'Dueling promos' works really well, though you may have to pre/post show it to keep it from bombing the show (depending on how many strong angles you have). And six minutes or more if you want skill improvements. I like the concept, Condors. Might have to try it.

I always go 6 minutes for matches and promos in the regular stuff to improve workers. At the ppv is 2 hours long 16 minute angle 12 minute match 12 minute match 12 minute match 12 minute match 12 minute match 10 minute angle 12 minute main event match 10 minute angle I have 3 unchained storylines going with my orginal top 6 workers have not changed them yet For guys i want to improve their psychology i have them wrestle someone with higher psychology for example have hells bouncer fight jack avatar kashmir singh and champagne lover. for people to improve mic skills i use Carl Batch to interview them backstage and ask them about our top heel/face it gets their mic skills up fast, I also use the meet and greet angle in postshow which takes 2 guys rated on entertainment and 6 guys who are not rated all on camera in the premis they are shaking hands and kissing babies with the crowd. I usually try to focus on a few guys at a time and cycle them recently I have made Kashmir Singh, Oscar Ozymandias and Ernie Turner my main focus to see where they cap out. At the start it was Genio Verde, Hells Bouncer, Leper Messiah, Handsome Stranger, Champagne Lover and Jack Avatar.

Condors
White Dolphin just an fyi i run weekly events. I am not looking for the best ratings out of them i am looking to make my workers better. Hells Bouncer is a regular main eventer for me even though his ring skills are not the greatest his star power, charisma, good gimmick and menace makes him useable he can take a guy with 0 popularity and beat the crud out of him till he has 60 popularity. I am a few points from national still i could try to run best show possible on my monday tv show and make the other shows all ppvs and get to national quickly but then i will just be wondering who is good enough to push or not and i will get there eventually. I also use the face off no contact every show usually with Lepper Messiah and Handsome Stranger (just take your 2 most popular workers) and the 6 guys on your roster with the least momentum. I almost always have 6 guys "dominate" until they get the 47 popularity spill over at the begining of my games if i don't have workers who are over in any other areas so when i branch out from my home i hit the ground running with my big 6 which turns into my big 12 who are the guys i use on PPV. I am currently not even settled on my big 12 yet.

I would set up a "training group" usually old vets with high psychology and run them through the gauntlet for a month and see if they improve. Just for the record Champagne Lover and Kashmir Singh get dinged for pyschology in most of their matches. the other guys: Curt O'Malley is rated 79 as road agent Sara Silver is rated as 85 Colour Steve Smith is rated as 81 announcer Wilson Carlisle is rated 100 at refereeing I will have 4 contracts to deal with this year 1-Jeffery Gellar 2-The Wizard of Ottawa 3-Ernie Turner 4-Valentine To be honest even if i lose all of them i don't think it is a major loss but i would like to keep these guys around. Ernie Turner is an international Superstar and has not capped on his pysch he could be wanting a 6 figure deal although money is not an issue i have a thing about paying a guy big bucks who can't carry but with a limited staff i just hire a gen with high star power and have him take his place. The inability to hire whoever i want has made me carry a larger roster than i normally do. I like to keep it to around 20 guys and use them all at every show. For me it is alot easier to keep track of them and to figure out capped then use them to train others etc. I guess i like the small company feel like playing MAW or something. White Dolphin
I can just imagine someone writing a story based on this where Hell's Bouncer, having to deal with the fact his post-main event beatdown is getting predictable, has to resort to the classic fake nose and glasses disguise and impersonate a fan so he can take Avatar down by surprise time after time.
