[The next day is the day when the papers were drawn up by Tommy Cornell to fire Bryan Vessey. I assumed it was going to be between Tommy and Bryan exactly what happened but I was absolutely wrong. When I walked toward my office, I was surprised to see Bryan Vessey leaning against the wall beside the door. I met his eyes for a span of about a moment and then motioned him inside. I walked in behind him and closed the door, moving around him to get settled behind my desk.]

Timothy Hawk

"Yes, Bryan? I assume there's a reason for your visit?"

Bryan Vessey

"I'd like you to reconsider firing me. I took all night last night to think about the things that I have done and reflect upon my career. I don't want the last of my legacy to be that I was fired for doing steroids. No, wait, that's not right. I've done research on these things and I know what they can do. I don't want to do them any more."

Timothy Hawk

"Do you think I'm stupid, Bryan? Do you think that you can come in here and simply say that you've stopped using and I'm going to believe you?"

[I reached inside the desk, the same desk that he had flipped over the previous day. Inside, I flipped a few switches and reached into a seperate compartment. My hand came up with a low caliber pistol, which I placed on top of the desk. My eyes met Bryan's. His were wide with what I could only call fear.]

Timothy Hawk

"Do you know what steroids can do to you, Bryan? They cause mood swings, a short temper and eventually death if you continue down this road. So when you take steroids, you're killing yourself but you're only doing it slower. I say that if you want to kill yourself, don't screw around with it. Do it quickly and get it over with. Now, take this gun in your hand and pull it up your head and pull the trigger."

[It was no surprise to me when Bryan didn't reach for the gun. Instead, he shook his head. Then his hand came out for the gun and he shoved it toward me. I took the gun and placed it back in the compartment, closing and locking the latch.]

Bryan Vessey

"I don't want to kill myself."

[I could see the tears welling up in the eyes of this 38 year old man. I looked across at him but I couldn't show too much compassion right now. He had made his choices.]

Timothy Hawk

"Alright, I'll tell you what, Bryan. Just this one time, I'm going to go back on my word and let you back in my company. But if you mess up just once, just ONCE, that means that if you get into trouble of any kind, including failing a drug test, and you're out of here. Now, you can sit here and take the time that you need to compose yourself before you leave."

[I could only hope that I was making the right decision when it came to Mr. Vessey. I could only hope that he gets his head on straight and gets his life back together. Because if he doesn't? Then he's going to be on the next thing smoking.]

((OOC Note: Thanks to everyone who commented on the Bryan Vessey situation. He has grown a loyalty relationship to Timothy Hawk now. Hope this provides a positive outcome both to my readers and to the in-game character of Bryan Vessey))

[With everything that has gone on with the Bryan Vessey situation, it would be easy to forget the big announcement that I knew was coming a couple of weeks into my tenure as TCW Head Booker. As I got settled into my office on a Saturday, a familiar voice rang out from just outside the door.]

Rip Chord

"I know where I'm going. You don't have to lead me. I've been around this business for a long time."

[Rip Chord. Anyone who knows anything about professional wrestling knows about this man's history. He is known as one of the best wrestlers in the business until the alcohol got to him. Now he is running Mid Atlantic Wrestling, a wrestling promotion built on training the next generation of professional wrestlers. But what many people don't know is that he needed money when he was getting Mid Atlantic Wrestling started. My father gave him some seed money to get things started. It has proven to be a wise investment.]

[I rose to my feet when he entered the office, looking at the grizzled veteran dressed in a suit from top to bottom. Handshakes and pleasantries were exchanged between the two of us before it was time to get down to the real business of why he is here.]

Timothy Hawk

"Alright, Rip, we have been discussing this since I came into power here at TCW. I have the contract all done up and ready to be signed. As of today, Mid Atlantic Wrestling is going to be the developmental promotion for Total Championship Wrestling."

Rip Chord

"Your dad raised a good kid, Tim. I know that my promotion will be in good hands with you."

Timothy Hawk

"You will continue running the promotion as normal. But we will be sending wrestlers down there to get trained by one of the best. Thank you, again, Rip."

[I looked across toward Rip Chord. We had already discussed everything before I even came into power. I watched as he signed on the dotted line of the contract. TCW now owns a piece of MAW. And I am growing stronger and stronger within the wrestling industry.]

TCW PRESENTS TOTAL WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 3 January 2010

Location: Minnesota Coliseum (Mid West)

Attendance: 9,235

Overall Rating: B-

TV Rating: 5.12

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW1.jpg

[Our television show begins with a video recap of the happenings from last week. The focus is mainly on the main event where Ricky Dale Johnson defeated Troy Tornado. Following the ending of the match, RDJ was attacked by the three members of The Syndicate. At the end of the night, Tommy Cornell, Joey Minnesota and Wolf Hawkins were all three left standing in the ring throwing up the Syndicate symbol.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpg

[We cut inside the Minnesota Coliseum where Jason Azaria and Kyle Rhodes welcome everyone to TCW Presents Total Wrestling! The fans in attendance are standing on their feet, cheering and clapping, including a 'TCW' chant going through each fan in attendance. The cheers grow even louder as the music begins to play for the man known as 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson. Johnson does not look to be in the best condition but he makes his way down to the ring, stepping inside. He soaks in the 'RDJ' chant that fills the air as he has a microphone in hand.]

Ricky Dale Johnson

"Thank you so much, everyone. The last two weeks have been some of the most difficult weeks in my life. Two weeks ago, I lost my best friend. Joey, you decided to turn on me and join up with Tommy Cornell and his new version of The Syndicate. Why? Because of backstage politics. Because of everything that the two of us have spent the last year fighting against. You let yourself be taken over by the lies that Tommy Cornell spews forth from his piehole. But you know what? You are going to get what's coming to you. I want you at Malice In Wonderland. I am going to show you that what I have been giving The Syndicate for the last year is not going to stop simply because I don't have you by my side. And what they have been receiving is an old-fashioned Texas butt whipping. And don't think that I don't have friends as well. You never know who might be appearing by my side."

[RDJ tosses the microphone down and walks to the edge of the ring, exiting down the stairs. He high fives the fans, though he seems a little worse for wear as he makes it to the backstage area.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoeyMinnesota_alt1-11.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/ClarkAlexanderALT1.jpg

Joey Minnesota vs. Clark Alexander

[Our opening contest was actually a focused technical matchup. Both Minnesota and Alexander were able to show their mettle inside the ring, with the match rarely exiting the ring. One fan held up a sign during the match which read: 'Clark Anderson is Tommy's Bitch!' Alexander sends Minnesota into the corner and chops him four times in a row and then dropped Minnesota with a lifting reverse DDT! He made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Minnesota fires back, though. Minnesota tosses Alexander outside at one point and sent him slamming into the ring post. This gave Minnesota the advantage for the rest of the match. Inside the ring, Minnesota catches Alexander with the Empire Spiral and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Joey Minnesota (Via Pinfall @ 5:05)

Match Rating: B-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TommyCornellALT1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt21.jpg

[As the bell sounds, Joey Minnesota raises to his feet and gets his arm raised. As soon as Minnesota stands, though, he is assaulted from behind by Ricky Dale Johnson! RDJ catches Minnesota with a blindside high knee and sets him up for the Southern Justice! Minnesota's eyes bug out and he struggles but before RDJ can lift Minnesota, he gets attacked from behind by Tommy Cornell and Wolf Hawkins. In a scene reminiscent of last week, the beatdown begins on RDJ by The Syndicate. Cornell locks in a Guilt Trip -- the choke sleeper and RDJ is slowly fading out. But suddenly the crowd pops as three men come running from the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TimothyHawk_jhd.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Guide.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Scout_Self1.jpg

[The New Wave are joined by an unknown wrestler as they head down toward the ring. All three men have chairs and as they slide in the ring, The Syndicate exits the ring. Guide, Scout and this unknown wrestler stand over RDJ, protecting the Texan from another Syndicate beatdown. Just who is this mystery man? And what is he doing in TCW?]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BrentHillALT31.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/HumanArsenal_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/DannyFonzarelliALT1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TanaTheMighty_alt1.jpg

The Machines vs. Danny Fonzarelli and Giant Tana

[Our second match is one that is even better than the opening contest and another very evenly fought encounter. The match began with Fonzarelli and Tana trying to invite The Machines into a dance-off but The Machines were not interested. When the match began, there were definitely differences in the abilities of the two tag teams. The team of the Machines were definitely more technically sound, while Fonzarelli and Tana were focused on brawling. In the end, it was the more brawling style of the fan favorites that won the match. Fonzarelli catches Brent Hill with a Retro Rocket -- also known as a spinebuster and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Danny Fonzarelli and Giant Tana (Via Pinfall @ 8:03)

Match Rating: B

[With the ring emptied, the crowd boos as out comes manager Floyd Goldworthy. The man known as 'The Fast Buck' walks down with his arrogant look and enters the ring. He absorbs in the 'asshole' chant that the fans shower him with, doing his best to ignore them.]

Floyd Goldworthy

"If you people would simply shut your mouths then maybe you could hear what I have to say and be enlightened by my words. But of course that is not going to happen because you're all ingrates and are not worthy of seeing my Hellfire Club in action. Tonight we are going to see The Great White Shark become the brand new TCW World Heavyweight Champion. But before that happens I would like to get in a few words with the current champion. Rocky Golden, get out here right now."

[There is a pause as Goldworthy waits to see if his challenge is going to be answered. Then the music starts. The crowd cheers louder as out comes the TCW World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Golden! Golden pauses at the top of the ramp and that is just enough time for him to get assaulted from behind by Eddie Peak! It was a set-up! Peak grabs Golden and runs him into the archway that serves as the entrance for the wrestlers. The Great White Shark catches Golden with several knee lifts and then a bodyslam on the concrete! Golden grabs his back, wincing in pain. Peak smiles the devil's smile as he is joined by his manager. Peak picks up the TCW World Heavyweight Champion and tosses him from the ramp about ten feet to the ground below! Golden is out cold! The Great White Shark looks down at him as EMTs and officials come out to make sure that no further damage is done. But will Golden even be able to appear for the main event tonight?]

Match #3

TCW International Title Match

Joshua Taylor defends vs. Fumihiro Ota

[The fans in attendance were surprised to see the arrival of TCW's former ninja Fumihiro Ota as the surprise opponent for Joshua Taylor. Ota had been let go by TCW in 2005 and spent more time on the independent scene. But now he gets his chance here on the International stage. Another match that went back and forth with both wrestlers getting in an almost equal amount of momentum and offense. Ota draws a two count following a Fisherman's Buster. He looks to the crowd and one fan holds up a sign reading: 'Joshua Taylor has a Zero % Charisma Rating!' Late in the match, Ota goes for the Ninja Strike, a running enzuigiri kick. Taylor ducks the kick and then grabs Ota -- Butterfly Lock! Ota struggles, trying to break free from the hold. But he cannot break free and eventually is forced to tap out.]

Winner: Joshua Taylor (Via Submission @ 10:09; Joshua Taylor retains the TCW International title)

Match Rating: C

[We head backstage here where Giant Tana is shown walking down a hallway. The fun-loving giant pauses in front of a soda machine, looking at the various choices to drink. As he slides a bill inside the machine, he is assaulted from behind by Troy Tornado and Sammy Bach! The crowd boos in the background as the two men use their numbers advantage to bring Tana down to the ground. Stomps can be heard echoing in the hallway as Tornado and Bach don't let up. Bach hooks on the Bach On Your Back! He is choking the samoan wrestler out with that bodylock reverse sleeper. Tornado continues to put the boots to Tana. Bach releases the hold and Tornado grabs a plastic chair and slams it down on the head of Tana. A high five is given by Tornado and Bach as they exit the area, leaving Tana down and out.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RobertOxford.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BennyBenson1.jpg

Robert Oxford vs. Benny Benson

[Our next match is one that is only slightly above average as the veteran Robert Oxford faces off with the high flying newcomer Benny Benson. The younger Benson starts the match off quickly, using moves like a neckbreaker, arm wringer back kick and screw legwhip on Oxford. The veteran Oxford wasn't keeping down, however. The 49 year old man is a strong technical wrestler and did his best to keep Benson grounded on the mat during this match. Benson, though, catches Oxford with a superplex and then waits for Oxford to get to his feet. Benson charges -- Shockwave From Next Year! The running enzuigiri kick! Benson makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Benny Benson (Via Pinfall @ 11:41)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TroyTornado_alt11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SammyBach_alt31.jpg

[Benny Benson picks up the victory this week but as he rises to celebrate, he gets an eyeful of Troy Tornado and Sammy Bach running down to the ring. Benson meets both of these wrestlers in the ring and punches are exchanged! Benson sends Tornado bouncing off the ropes -- leapfrog -- Tornado stops and turns -- Inverted Atomic Drop -- Double Leg Trip! That would be Benson's Big Adventure! Benson throws punches to Tornado but Bach moves in behind Benson -- German Suplex! He yanked Benson up and over and Benson went flying head over heels, crashing face-first on the mat. Bach climbs the turnbuckles and waits perched as Tornado pulls Benson up -- Adrenaline Shot! The flying flip neckbreaker from Bach. Benson is left laid out by this new alliance of Sammy Bach and Troy Tornado. The two men stand over Benson, giving smirks before they leave the ring.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/EveGrunge.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoanneRodriguez_JSilver.jpg

Eve Grunge vs. Joanne Rodriguez

[The very first womens bout here on TCW Presents Total Wrestling features two very accomplished female wrestlers. Eve Grunge has two published albums to her name and comes out with a guitar, yelling at the crowd. Joanne Rodriguez is a decorated womens champion. She high fives the fans on her way down to the ring. J-Ro definitely shows her skills in this contest, in particular. She is a high flyer and catches Grunge with moves like a belly to belly superplex and a moonsault. Several signs were raised during this match, including 'JRO is HOT' and 'Laaaaaaaaadies!' Toward the end of the match, Grunge grows frustrated and goes for her guitar. The referee tries to stop her and J-Ro comes over, ducking a guitar shot. She kicks Grunge in the gut -- J-Rocker! The twisting face crusher puts Grunge down on the mat. Rodriguez makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Joanne Rodriguez (Via Pinfall @ 7:59)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JasmineSaunders.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SamKeithalt-11.jpg

[instead of remaining at ringside, we head backstage where our backstage interviewer Jasmine Saunders is standing by with the #1 contender to the TCW World Heavyweight title: Sam Keith. Keith, in particular, looks as stoic as always as he stands in front of the camera.]

Jasmine Saunders

"Thank you Jason, Kyle. I am Jasmine Saunders and I am back here with the top contender Sam Keith. Sam, the last couple of weeks you have been seemingly getting the best of our TCW World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Golden. The two of you will meet in a match at Malice In Wonderland. What are your thoughts as we are a little over a week away from that contest?"

Sam Keith

"First of all, young Rocky needs to focus on his match tonight with the Great White Shark. It could be Sam Keith versus Eddie Peak at TCW Malice In Wonderland for the TCW World Heavyweight title. We all know that Rocky is a flash in the pan champion. He is just the flavor of the month since getting lucky and defeating Tommy Cornell last August. But if Rocky survives tonight then he will be just keeping that title warm for me. I have held World titles in every promotion I have ever been in. And when it comes to our match at Malice In Wonderland? You are going to learn about the one thing that you have to fear. And that is the Proton Lock."

[Keith turns and walks off as Saunders motions to head back to the ring.]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TommyCornellALT1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt21.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/AaronAndrews.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/ChanceFortuneALT1.jpg

The Syndicate vs. The L.A. Connection

[Our semi main event and a major opportunity for The L.A. Connection, Aaron Andrews and Chance Fortune. Andrews is a very good all around wrestler and he shows it in this match as he goes toe to toe with both Tommy Cornell and Wolf Hawkins. The first few minutes of the match are all L.A. Connection, surprising the fans and The Syndicate. Cornell and Hawkins regroup and Hawkins catches Chance Fortune coming off the top turnbuckle with a powerslam. The Syndicate drag things back in their corner and keep Fortune down, using quick tags in and out. Several two counts are registered but Fortune does not give up. Cornell sets up Fortune for the Rough Ride but Fortune shows some ability in sliding behind Cornell after being bounced on the top rope. Fortune draws a two count with a rollup and then tags in Andrews. Andrews comes in with punches, taking on both members of The Syndicate. All four men come in the ring at this point and the brawl begins. Fortune and Hawkins fall outside the ring, leaving only Cornell and Andrews inside the ring. As the referee looks outside, Cornell catches Andrews with a low blow. Cornell locks on the Judo Choke Sleeper known as the Guilt Trip. Andrews struggles and Fortune tries to get in to break things up but Hawkins grabs Fortune by the legs and Andrews is forced to tap out.]

Winner: The Syndicate (Via Submission @ 10:01)

Match Rating: B

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW_World.jpg

TCW World Heavyweight Title Match

Rocky Golden defends vs. Eddie Peak

[it is main event time right here on TCW Presents Total Wrestling. Rocky Golden doesn't get the type of reaction that one might think he would get. Instead, fans hold up signs that include: 'Die Rocky Die !!', 'GREAT WHITE NIGHTMARE' and 'Die Rocky Die!' The reaction that Golden gets from the fans is added to the injuries that he suffered earlier this evening and gives Peak a decided advantage in this match. There was also the added advantage of having Floyd Goldworthy at ringside for Peak. Goldworthy interfered in the match whenever he could, choking Golden in the corner and catching him with kicks to the ribs outside the ring. Unfortunately, these two men held zero chemistry in the ring and it had the fans begin a 'boring' chant. Peak draws several near falls within this match, using every advantage that he can get. But Golden starts a comeback following a failed reverse chinlock by Peak. Golden throws punches and body slams. He tries his best to get the fans on his side, rallying them up. Peak comes at him with a big boot but Golden ducks and then lifts Peak onto his shoulders -- The Rack! Golden holds Peak up on The Rack! Everyone watches as Peak is forced to give up!]

Winner: Rocky Golden (Via Submission @ 16:44; Rocky Golden retains the TCW World Heavyweight title)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SamKeithalt-11.jpg

[still the TCW World Heavyweight Champion, Rocky Golden releases the hold, sending Peak down to the mat. Peak exits the ring, moving to Floyd Goldworthy as Golden is handed the TCW World Heavyweight title belt. Golden raises it up high in the air, getting his arms raised in victory. But then his eyes turn to the entrance ramp where Sam Keith has walked out. Keith stands at the top of the ramp, clapping his hands together. The two men who will fight at Malice In Wonderland stare each other down as the show comes to a close.]

*sadly waves her 'Rocky is pretty good for his age and great for his size' flag*

-Interested to see where this is going, ADL, you've moved things a lot more quickly than I'd expect, which immediately makes things feel very fresh and new - whilst not just changing everything.

I did want to mention thank you for this post. Am glad that you are enjoying the diary. I am moving things a little fast but I am glad that it's still enjoyable. As far as Rocky Golden goes, he may be the 'John Cena' of TCW.

TCW PRESENTS TOTAL WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 4 January 2010

Location: The V. Thompson Arena (South West)

Attendance: 10,000

Overall Rating: B

TV Rating: 5.22

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW1.jpg

[Our TCW show begins with a recap of last week's show. This includes highlights of all seven matches, focusing in on the main event where Rocky Golden successfully defended the TCW World Heavyweight title against Eddie Peak. But the show wasn't over following the defense as out comes #1 contender Sam Keith. Keith applauds the effort by the champion and stares him down from the entrance ramp as the video fades to black and then the opening for TCW Presents Total Wrestling!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Guide.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Scout_Self1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TimothyHawk_jhd.jpg

[The show opens with the arrival of Ricky Dale Johnson, The New Wave and this as of yet unknown wrestler who came down to help things out last week. RDJ begins things by thanking the three gentlemen in the ring with him for saving him last week from The Syndicate. Then he moves into the introduction of the fourth wrestler. The man is known as 'The Flying Menace' Timothy Hawk. Hawk is given the microphone and he begins by talking about paying his dues on the independent scene. That he spent a lot of time working and honing his craft so that he could one day become part of Total Championship Wrestling. But that did not include honing in on backstage politics, which is where The Syndicate stand right now. He says that he refuses to kiss ass to get ahead. But he is going to do it the right way. He is going to earn it. Though his words get interrupted.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TommyCornellALT1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoeyMinnesota_alt1-11.jpg

[Out come Tommy Cornell, Wolf Hawkins and Joey Minnesota. Cornell says that he knows all about Hawk because he trained the Flying Menace. He taught him what it is to be a pro wrestler but obviously he didn't teach him enough. But that will come. He will learn a lesson at Malice In Wonderland, facing a wrestler of Tommy Cornell's choosing. As for The New Wave, they will be wrestling tonight against The Machines AND defend their TCW World Tag Team titles against Tommy and Wolf Hawkins at Malice In Wonderland. He saved the best for last, though, as Joey Minnesota will get his hands on his former tag team partner: Ricky Dale Johnson in a No Disqualification match. The two stables face off with one another but no violence is done yet.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TroyTornado_alt11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SammyBach_alt31.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/KarenKiller_alt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/AaronAndrews.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/ChanceFortuneALT1.jpg

Troy Tornado and Sammy Bach vs. The L.A. Connection

[A definite above-average tag team contest opens things up here on TCW Presents Total Wrestling. The L.A. Connection is the more experienced tandem between the two teams and they show that connection early on through several double team moves, keeping Tornado and Bach on their heels. Though many may think that the outcome is obvious, it wasn't so obvious inside the ring. One fan in particular seemed to pull for The L.A. Connection as a sign was held in the air reading: 'Andrews is the FUTURE!' But by the six minute mark, Tornado and Bach were in full control and continued that control throughout the contest, ending with Tornado catching Aaron Andrews with the Star Maker, a high velocity Flying Forearm. Bach knocks Fortune off the apron and Tornado makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Troy Tornado and Sammy Bach (Via Pinfall @ 8:14)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/DannyFonzarelliALT1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BennyBenson1.jpg

[As Troy Tornado and Sammy Bach celebrate their victory, they are met inside the ring by the team of Danny Fonzarelli and Benny Benson! Fonzarelli and Benson appear to be all-serious tonight as they assault both Tornado and Bach with Karen Killer watching on angrily from ringside. Tornado and Bach are sent flying outside the ring and Fonzarelli and Benson proceed to dance to the delight of the crowd inside the ring. As the two wrestlers dance, the camera focuses in on a sign reading: 'Troy Can't Wrestle!' These two teams will face off at Malice In Wonderland in less than a week's time.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/EddStone_Self6.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/CharlieThatcher1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/HarryAllen_Self1.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW_AllAction.jpg

TCW All Action Title Match

Edd Stone defends vs. Harry Allen

[Our next match is for the TCW All Action title as Edd Stone defends the belt against Harry Allen. Harry Allen is very well decorated in the All Action/Cruiserweight division and this leads to about an average match with the current champion Edd Stone. Stone has the added advantage of his bodyguard: Charlie Thatcher in his corner. Thatcher is definitely not above interfering on behalf of Stone and that comes through in this match. The high flying Harry Allen seems to be closing in on a victory when he body slams Stone near the turnbuckles and climbs to the second turnbuckle to deliver his Flying Fist Drop but Stone gets ahold of the referee. This distraction of the official gives Charlie Thatcher time to push Allen off the turnbuckles to the mat. Stone gets to his feet and Party's Over. He plants Allen with the Seated Face Plant and hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Edd Stone (Via Pinfall @ 5:53; Edd Stone retains the TCW All Action title)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickLaw_JS.jpg

[We head backstage following the victory to find Rick Law pacing up and down a hallway. He has his trademark sneer on his face and after a few moments he looks at the camera and says that he hates illegal immigrants coming into this country from Japan. Law says he is sick and tired of them coming into his country so he has decided to fix it with Koshiro Ino. At Malice In Wonderland, he plans to take out Ino, along with anyone who might get in his way. What it comes down to, according to Rick Law, is that Koshiro Ino is going to serve hard time.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/AmberAllen.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/AngelTakudome.jpg

Amber Allen vs. Angel Takudome

[Our second womens bout here in TCW is definitely not on par with the first one. These two women just seemed to bring out the worst in each other with several botched moves and the like. Chants of 'boring' fill the air during this match. But the ladies do their best to put on a technical encounter. Allen goes for the Northern Lights Suplex but she is stopped by the leg of Takudome. Takudome brings Allen down with a vertical suplex of her own and then heads to the top turnbuckle -- Red Rock Press! She lands right on top of Allen and hooks both legs: 1 -- 2 -- 3! A big win for the unknown Japanese female.]

Winner: Angel Takudome (Via Pinfall @ 4:48)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SamKeithalt-11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/GregGauge1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/MatthewKeith1.jpg

[As the ring clears, our #1 contender and the Master of the Proton Lock Sam Keith comes down to the ring flanked by two young men. Sam introduces these two men as his young sons Greg Keith and Matthew Keith. He says that they have come to TCW to see their father win the TCW World Heavyweight title at Malice In Wonderland, a feat that both of them plan to accomplish at some point in their careers. As Sam talks briefly about his sons and their past he is interrupted by some very familiar music.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RockyGolden_alt31.jpg

[Out comes the TCW World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Golden. Golden gets his usual mixed response from the crowd but he plays to them anyway as he comes down to the ring and steps inside, looking across at his opponent at Malice In Wonderland. Golden tells Sam that the stage is set. It's age versus youth, experience versus toughness. Golden says that he has no plans to relinquish this belt to anyone and that includes a legend like Sam Keith. Golden might have said more but his words angered the sons of Sam Keith and so they attacked Golden. The elder Keith joins in and it's a three on one assault on Rocky Golden that ends with the Proton Lock being locked on Golden for about three minutes before the release. The three Keiths stand and raise their arms in victory but will it be the same this Sunday?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoshuaTaylor.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BillyRussell.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW_International.jpg

TCW International Title Match

Joshua Taylor defends vs. Billy Russell

[Our next match is another defense of the TCW International title. Joshua Taylor has been a fighting champion and this week he faces off with former MMA fighter 'The Tap Out Artist' Billy Russell. Russell fights a lot on the mat, trying to get Taylor into various submission holds but Taylor refuses to submit, generally making it to the ropes to break the submission hold. Russell starts to get frustrated from not being able to make Taylor tap out. Taylor maintains his composure throughout and fights back up from the ground, shifting when Russell goes for a kneebar and rolling Russell into a small package: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Joshua Taylor (Via Pinfall @ 7:11; Joshua Taylor retains the TCW International title)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/EddStone_Self6.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/CharlieThatcher1.jpg

[suddenly the action cuts backstage where the TCW All Action champion Edd Stone is standing by with his Bodyguard Charlie Thatcher. Stone talks about his reign as TCW All Action champion and how he is the best man to ever hold the belt because he knows that he will be the only man to never lose it. He wants to prove that at Malice In Wonderland live and on pay-per-view where the 24 Hour Party Animal knows that the party never stops. So he is challenging five men to sign a contract for a ladder match against him at Malice In Wonderland for the All Action title. Can anyone step in the ring and make the party stop?]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BrentHillALT31.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/HumanArsenal_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Guide.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Scout_Self1.jpg

Non Title

The Machines vs. The New Wave

[This is a feud that has actually spanned many years as The New Wave began their first TCW World Tag Team title reign at the expense of Brent Hill and John Anderson. Since then, these two teams have always had heated affairs any time they have stepped into the ring against one another and this evening is no different. Both teams show the ability inside the ring with Guide being the more well-rounded of the four men. In fact, he wowed the crowd when he came running through the ropes with a Plancha Dive on both members of The Machines outside the ring as The Machines were trying to regroup. The end came when Anderson was knocked off the apron and The New Wave focused on Brent Hill. Guide catches Hill with a Guided Missle -- the Northern Lights Bomb. Then it was the tag tower legdrop known as the Wave Of Mutilation. Guide makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: The New Wave (Via Pinfall @ 10:28)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoeyMinnesota_alt1-11.jpg

[We come backstage once again where Joey Minnesota is sitting within a locker room setting. He slowly looks up at the camera and draws in a deep breath. He tells his former partner Ricky Dale Johnson that he doesn't hate the Texan. On the contrary, at one point he considered RDJ to be his best friend in the world. But best friends like Ricky Dale Johnson don't get him title shots. Having a best friend like RDJ doesn't get him limousines. Having a best friend like Ricky doesn't get him money or fame or fortune. So he did what he had to do and he would do it again. Minnesota says that at the end of the day he didn't sell out, he sold up.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/FreddyHuggins.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/LauraCatherineHuggins.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpg

Freddy Huggins vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

[Our semi main event is, perhaps, better than some people thought it might be. To some, Freddy Huggins is best known as the sometimes tag team partner of Edd Stone. To others, he's known as a slightly above average flyer but tonight he showed that he has some definite main event possibilities as he went toe to toe, punch to punch with Ricky Dale Johnson. RDJ, though, is in a focused frame of mind and that is bad for Huggins, as his twin sister looks on from ringside. The action took place both inside the ring and outside the ring and included Huggins smashing RDJ on the steel steps outside the ring following a distraction by Laura Huggins. The 'Teen Idol' brings RDJ back in the ring and makes a pin attempt following a russian legsweep: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! The crowd works RDJ back into the match and RDJ gets in full control at around the twelve minute mark. RDJ catches Huggins with a snake eyes in the corner and then catches him with the move he calls Texas Hold 'Em, lifting Huggins in an over-the-shoulder backbreaker and then tossing him in the corner stomach-first. RDJ signals to the crowd and picks up Huggins by the throat -- Southern Justice! The Nodawa brings Huggins to the mat and RDJ makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Ricky Dale Johnson (Via Pinfall @ 13:49)

Match Rating: B-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TommyCornellALT1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/KoshiroIno.jpg

Tommy Cornell vs. Koshiro Ino

[And we have reached main event time. What a main event this should be as 'Rough Justice' Tommy Cornell steps into the ring with the Japanese sensation Koshiro Ino. Many would say that Ino is at least one step down from being main event material, but like Freddy Huggins earlier, he proves his mettle inside the ring against a main event opponent. The match is technically based for the most part, with Ino showing his prowess inside the ring. Though the match didn't just take place inside the ring. As a matter of fact, at one point, Cornell has Ino outside and rams him against the ring post and then throws him in the first row right in the lap of a fan with a sign reading: 'Ino that you know that Ino...' Cornell attempts to get a countout victory but Ino makes it in just before the ten count. Around the seventeen minute mark, Ino gets the crowd into it as he starts a major comeback against the owner of the company. Ino smashes Cornell's head into the turnbuckles ten times and then 'The Kobra' blows mist into the eyes of Cornell, blinding his opponent. Ino catches Cornell with the Ino Plex, a vertical suplex turned into a snap neckbreaker. He makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Ino pulls Cornell up and sets him up for the Kobra's Bite -- Cornell reverses, sliding in behind Ino -- Guilt Trip! Cornell locks in the Guilt Trip! The Judo Choke Sleeper has Ino fighting for his life. The Kobra is slowly fading away from the hold. He gets dropped to the mat and the referee begins raising his arm: 1 -- 2 -- 3! He's out! The referee calls for the bell.]

Winner: Tommy Cornell (Via Submission @ 20:30)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Guide.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Scout_Self1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TimothyHawk_jhd.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoeyMinnesota_alt1-11.jpg

[As soon as the bell sounds, there is pandemonium all around ringside and the entrance ramp. Wolf Hawkins and Joey Minnesota were set to come down to the ring but they were attacked by Ricky Dale Johnson, The New Wave and Timothy Hawk! Tommy Cornell releases Koshiro Ino and joins in the brawl as all seven men go at it. The New Wave are battling with Hawkins, RDJ and Minnesota are going at it and now it's Cornell and Hawk! Cornell and Hawk are the two men who battle down to the ring. Hawk brings Cornell down with a suplex and then heads to the top turnbuckle -- 450 Splash! The crowd is absolutely stunned by The Flying Menace! The brawl continues as the show's credits appear on the screen. We're out of time! We'll see you on Sunday for Malice In Wonderland!]
