USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday February Week 2 2010

Location: Centerpiece Bridge (Mid Atlantic)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: 1.26

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/ShaneSneer_ew.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/JimForce_alt1_JT.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/DannyRushmore.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/MickMuscles_jt.jpg

[Our show begins, not with a recap video, but with Shane Sneer standing in the middle of the ring. The Centerpiece Bridge crowd boos this manager as he begins talking about how the Sneer Coporation has not done well since the start of the new year but things are going to change beginning here and now tonight. He proceeds to call out the new number one contender to the USPW World title: The Force. The Force comes out to the ring, drawing a lot of cheers from the crowd. He runs out to the ring, getting high fives along the way. He enters the ring and begins shaking the ropes before turning his snarling and growling attention to Shane Sneer. Sneer says that The Force is not worthy of being the number one contender and he is going to be shown to be the fraud that he is later on tonight when he takes on former USPW World Champion Mick Muscles. The Force grabs the microphone and yells at Sneer that tonight Mick Muscles is going to feel the almighty power that is THE FORCE! He points out a sign that reads: 'More FOOOORCE Merchandise please I want it all!' As The Force gets Sneer to back almost all the way into a corner, The Towers Of Power come running out and assault The Force! Danny Rushmore catches The Force with an Atomic Boot and then Mick Muscles throws in a Bulldozer Powerbomb! The Force is laid out in the ring from this two on one assault.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/CatherineQuine_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/AliciaStrong_JS.jpg

AAA Local Wrestler Catherine Quine vs. Alicia Strong

[The arrogant Catherine Quine steps into the ring against a former USPW Women's Champion Alicia Strong. The match, though, is dominated by Strong. Strong shows her skills in the ring by bringing Quine down with moves such as an atomic drop, back suplex and superplex. Quine, though, does score a near fall when she rolls Strong up in an inside cradle. But that is about all the offense that she gets in. Strong continues on with her assault by nailing Quine with a backbreaker. She stretches Quine over her knee, drawing in cheers from the crowd. As the five minute mark passes by, Strong catches Quine with the Strong Arm Tactic. Strong makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Alicia Strong (Via Pinfall @ 5:13)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/ZoeAmmis_JS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/EricTyler.jpg

[but when the match is over, the Unknown Female that came out during commercial breaks last week makes her on-camera debut with an assault on Alicia Strong. The assault is quick and brutal when this Unknown Female slams Strong down to the mat. The assault brings out a smiling Eric Tyler to the ring. The Unknown Female slams Strong's head against the mat three times until it appears that she is unconcious! She is definitely not moving following this vicious assault. Tyler enters the ring and picks up Strong, exiting the ring and walking to the back with her and the Unknown Female. What is going on here?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/DemonAnger.jpg

[We move backstage to see a swaying and weaving Anger moving down a hallway. He smiles and then laughs all mischievous as he walks. He is talking to someone who is obviously not there. His eyes keep flicking down to the bottle of coca cola that he has in his right hand. Definitely an odd scene in the backstage area.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/giantredwood2.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/EricTyler.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/SnapDragon_kam.jpg

Streak Match

Giant Redwood vs. MPWF Local Wrestler Snap Dragon

[Our next match is another dominant encounter as the man with the streak Giant Redwood takes on a wrestler from Mexico: Snap Dragon. Danny Jillefski likens this match to pulling wings off a dragonfly as Giant Redwood absolutely destroys Snap Dragon. Eric Tyler smiles at ringside as Redwood chokes Dragon in the corner with his boot. Snap Dragon is, then, caught with the snake eyes and Redwood body slams him hard against the mat. Redwood calls out..'TIMBER!'..and then drops on top of Snap Dragon with a Standing Splash. Redwood hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Giant Redwood (Via Pinfall @ 5:29)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/TracyBrendon_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/NickyChampion_alt2_JS.jpg

[We move backstage once again where we catch sight of Nicky Champion inside a locker room area angrily throwing things around. Inside the locker room with him is Tracy Brendon. Brendon speaks to him, trying to calm him down but he is yelling about ripping Eric Tyler to shreds after the abduction of Alicia Strong. Brendon says that they will get her back, though she doesn't look quite as upset as Champion does about the whole situation. Champion calms down slightly and the two begin working on a plot to get Alicia Strong back as we head back to the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/DavisWayneNewton_jsilver.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/JoeyBeauchamp.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/FreddieDatsun_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/DesDavids_jhd1.jpg

Non Title

Better Than You vs. The People's Team

[some people might have thought and considered this match to be a squash match but for the six minutes that the match is on, it is actually very evenly paced. Newton and Beauchamp don't quite have the experience of Datsun and Davids, though, and that is a major factor in the match. Datsun briefly plays the face-in-peril role before he tags in the former football star Des Davids. Davids takes down both Newton and Beauchamp with clotheslines and then scoop powerslams for both men! Datsun comes back in to keep Newton away from the scene. Beauchamp slowly rises and turns -- Quarterback Sack! The spear brings Beauchamp down to the mat and Davids makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: The People's Team (Via Pinfall @ 6:01)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/Java_ew.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/TribalWarrior_EW.jpg

[The People's Team draw the non title victory here tonight but ther night isn't over. Java and Tribal Warrior, Savage Fury, come right down to the ring and the brawl is on. The brawl begins evenly matched between the four men until Java strikes Des Davids with a low blow. Davids is tossed out of the ring and Freddie Datsun is focused on. A double headbutt is struck to Datsun and then Java heads to the top turnbuckle. Tribal Warrior moves over into that corner and Java is tossed with the Rocket Launcher, striking Datsun with the flying headbutt off the top turnbuckle. Java and Tribal Warrior pose in the ring to boos from the crowd.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/CorporalDoom_NR.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/HellMonkey_JS2.jpg

[We move from the ring to the office of Commissioner Doom. Once again, Doom is not alone within his office. He is standing with Johnny Vicious. Doom growls at Vicious that he is not impressed with his recent actions toward the USPW National Champion Peter Valentine. He says that he went back to Valentine's house and spoke with him about what type of punishment is in order. He allowed Valentine to pick a mystery opponent for Johnny Vicious for next week. That mystery opponent is none other than the USPW World Champion Bruce The Giant! Johnny Vicious, you're dismissed! Vicious just stands there and takes in everything, nodding. He feins an attack on Commissioner Doom, making Doom flinch before we head back to the ring.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/JDMorgan_ew2.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/EricTyler.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/CaptainUSA_ewanite.jpg

JD Morgan vs. Captain USA

[One of the newest members of the group known as Hard Corps that Eric Tyler runs is JD Morgan. Morgan steps into the ring against the veteran Captain USA. The crowd is definitely behind USA, as their chants grow louder and louder throughout this match. Morgan brings USA to the ropes and chokes him on the middle rope, while yelling at the crowd and drawing in some boos. He bounces USA off the ropes and then catches him with a neckbreaker. Morgan yells at the crowd again and nearing the six minute mark he hooks on a variation of the abdominal stretch known as the Cross Atlantic Stretch! USA struggles and fights against the hold but he is forced to submit.]

Winner: JD Morgan (Via Submission @ 5:41)

Match Rating: D

[The action cuts backstage where a brawl is taking place. This one is definitely one-sided as it seems that T-Rex got the drop on James Prudence in a sneak attack from behind. The Jurassic Power uses everything that comes to his hand in order to beat down the man known as the 'Platinum Dude.' Chairs, the wall and even a table are used against Prudence by T-Rex. This ends with T-Rex hooking on the Jurassic Crush on Prudence, swinging that full nelson back and forth for about a full minute before he tosses Prudence to the ground and stands over him, growling.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/TysonBaine_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/SheikMustafa_alt1jt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/DonnieJ_jt.jpg

Tyson Baine vs. Donnie J

[This match is one of the classic battles of power versus speed. Of course, Donnie J is worried about the attack against his partner but he needs to have his head in the game when he goes one on one with 'The Demon From The Deep' Tyson Baine. Donnie J tries to use his speed early in the match, striking Baine in the knees with basement dropkicks. Baine tries to swat Donnie J away from him but Donnie J has more speed than the lumbering Baine does. Donnie J hits Baine with a full-on dropkick, sending Baine outside the ring. J makes the mistake, though, of rushing toward the ropes and leaping outside -- Baine catches J and runs him back-first into the ring post. Baine slams down J on the mats outside the ring. Baine tosses J back in the ring and joins him in there and is dominant for the next few minutes. J gets in a few short bursts of offense but Baine fires back on J and catches him around the throat -- Hades Bomb! Donnie J is planted on the mat. Baine makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Tyson Baine (Via Pinfall @ 7:57)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/EricTyler.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpg

[The backstage area, once again, becomes the focus of tonight's action. This time we move in where a photo session is being done with USPW World Champion Bruce The Giant. Bruce roars, raising the belt high and some applause can be heard in the background. A smiling Eric Tyler walks forward from the group of photographers. He tells Bruce congratulations on being a two time USPW World Champion. But he says he has a business proposition for the Giant. He asks Bruce to talk in private and the 7'4" USPW World Champion agrees to it, the two men leaving the area and going behind closed doors.]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/StevenParker_JS.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

Steven Parker vs. Enygma

[Our semi main event has some good action this evening as 'The Future' Steven Parker takes on the former USPW World Champion Enygma. Parker has some definite technical skill and it is on display within this match with Enygma, which is an open and even contest. Parker scores a two count when he nails the masked man with a superkick. He turns Enygma over and wraps him in a Boston Crab. Enygma shakes his head, refusing to submit to this hold. Enygma pulls and yanks his body toward the ropes and does reach the ropes to break the hold. Parker slides Enygma's body over by the ropes -- Split Legged Moonsault -- NO! Enygma moved out of the way! Parker's knee strikes the mat and he grabs it in pain. Enygma gets the crowd behind him and gets to his feet. He catches Parker with an Enygmagiri Kick and then goes for the leg -- Enygma Variation! Parker shakes his head, trying to get to the ropes. But 'The Future' is forced to tap out before he can reach the ropes.]

Winner: Enygma (Via Submission @ 6:01)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/Acid_JSilver.jpg

[The crowd is definitely surprised to see another masked man shuffling his way down toward the ring in the form of Acid. Enygma releases the hold and pulls himself up using the nearby ring ropes. As he reaches his feet, he is struck with three straight kicks to the knee, bringing him back down to the mat. Acid quickly grabs Enygma -- Acidity Test! The Death Lock STF has Enygma tapping out almost immediately. Acid growls as he holds onto the hold, stretching out the former USPW World Champion. Acid finally releases the hold and moves to his feet, leaving Enygma down on the mat. Acid looks down at Enygma and then mounts him, throwing punch after punch on the man in the green mask. Blood begins to form at the corner of Enygma's mouth. Acid tilts his head, seeing the blood. He gets it on his hand and then rubs it on his chest, rising up and looking down at Enygma like a horror movie villain. Then he turns and exits the ring, shuffling off.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/EricTyler.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/Liberty_JT.jpg

[We transition backstage once again where James Justice is seated on a bench within the locker room. This is something that most fans do not get to see as Justice winces slightly when he moves. The 'Dude' has bags of ice and heis rotating them on his 39 year old knees. Justice is a legend in this industry but being a legend comes with a price. He takes in a deep breath ad then slowly releases it as the door opens to his locker room. In walks Eric Tyler. Justice is a little quicker to move but Tyler raises his hands and says that he did not come here for a fight. He says that he came here to point out what is obvious to everyone: James Justice should NOT be wrestling anymore. He points out the ice and tells Justice that icing himself before a match is not normal. Unfortunately, time is the only war that you cannot win. From one old-timer to another, a piece of advice, know when to hang up the boots. Tyler admits that it was difficult for him to do so but it was the right decision. Tyler gives Justice a pat on the shoulder and tells him to think about it before walking away and exiting the locker room. Justice looks down at his knees and sighs before looking up and into the camera as we fade back to the ring.]

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/MickMuscles_jt.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/ShaneSneer_ew.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/JimForce_alt1_JT.jpg

Mick Muscles vs. The Force

[Welcome to our main event as Shane Sneer leads one half of the Towers Of Power down to the ring to face the number one contender to the USPW World title: The Force. Sneer is not alone at ringside, though, as Danny Rushmore joins him down there early in the bout. The match was slightly overshadowed by the semi main event as this one was focused almost entirely on the two brawling forms. Both men are powerhouses and the match starts with both men trying to knock the other one down with shoulderblocks but neither man budges. The tide turns in the match in the favor of Mick Muscles with a distraction by Shane Sneer, who The Force goes after. This gives Muscles a chance to hit The Force with a forearm shot to the ribs. Muscles continues his focus on the ribs of The Force. He brings The Force into a corner and reddens his chest with knife edge chops. Muscles brings The Force to the center of the ring -- pumphandle slam! Muscles covers: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! The next few minutes are spent with Muscles mostly in charge and some interference by Danny Rushmore and Shane Sneer from ringside. The momentum shifts when a rear chinlock by Muscles gets turned into a back suplex by The Force.]

[The crowd begins chanting 'Force, Force, Force,' powering up The Force inside the ring. The Force bounces off the ropes, throwing clothesline after clothesline to Mick Muscles! Shane Sneer climbs on the apron and The Force grabs him by the head, running over and ramming him headfirst into the turnbuckle several times! Sneer falls off the apron and in the background a sign is held up: 'Trust the Force!!!' The Force turns and ducks a clothesline attempt by Danny Rushmore! The Force sends Rushmore over the top rope with a clothesline. The Force catches a running Mick Muscles with a standing spinebuster and the crowd goes absolutely wild! The Force makes a motion and then picks up Muscles -- Full Force! The Force floats over and hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: The Force (Via Pinfall @ 9:50)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW4/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpg

[The Force picks up a difficult win over a former USPW World Champion. He pulls himself up to his feet and backs into a corner. As The Force raises his eyes toward the ramp, out comes the USPW World Champion Bruce The Giant! The crowd boos as Bruce lumbers toward the ring where The Force is breathing heavily. Bruce steps in over the top rope and looks down at the former bodybuilder. The Force bounces off the ropes and hits Bruce with a clothesline! He rocks the 7'4" athlete! He bounces off the ropes again but this time Bruce catches him around the throat -- Giant Chokeslam! The Force is nearly buried into the mat with that hold! Bruce reaches over and picks up The Force -- Giant Headbutt sends The Force staggering back into a corner. Bruce charges -- Brucie Bonus -- his version of the reverse Avalanche. The Force staggers out of the corner -- Giant Chokeslam! The second one has The Force not moving as the USPW World Champion stands over top of him. Bruce raises the USPW World title belt in the air, roaring to boos from the crowd as the show comes to a close.]
