<center><table width=40%><tr><td><font face=Calibri size=3>I was a nervous wreck when I woke up Wednesday morning. TCW had risen to International size a week and a half before our show and they signed not one, not two but three of the guys I had booked for Center Stage. Conveniently, TCW also had Saturday Night Showcase the night of my show. I couldn’t blame them, but my three guys would for sure be travelling to TCW whether they were booked or not. I could have replaced two of them on the show, but one was an integral part and I couldn’t see any good way to re-structure what I had planned. So a week before the show we moved it up to Wednesday night. I spent that week in hell re-advertising and promoting the new date. I hoped the fanbase we had wouldn’t turn their backs or not show up during the week. I was on pins and needles the entire day and never even allowed myself to check the front doors to see if there was a line. I secluded myself in the locker room until bell time and waited until I looked through the curtain to see how many fans had showed up.</font></td></tr></table>

<font face=Calibri size=3>It was another quiet month in our neck of the woods with no contracts to re-negotiate. I decided to take it upon myself to develop our own website. I had taught myself HTML coding at a young age and decided it would be a good asset for us to have a website of our own. It wasn’t anything extra special, but it would help me with my newest idea. I had decided to begin broadcasting our shows on the website, for free, so we could have access to fans across the country. Our DVD sales were limited to the people who were showing up at the shows anyway, so why not lose just a bit of money to try and rope in some more fans? Night of Champions would be our first internet show and I think it’ll be beneficial to us. Here is what I jotted down as notes for the month of March.

Recent News

- As I stated before, TCW rose to International size.

- After growing last month, DIW fell back to Local size.

- Seiji Jimbo inherited PGHW this month and hired Bryan Holmes to be his head booker. Speaking of PGHW, they’ve been gaining a reputation as bad business people. In the first three months of the year they’ve called a handful of people up to their main roster and promptly released them from their contracts. It’s kind of shady if you ask me.

- There were numerous new workers entering the business this month. Hijo Del Aguila Americana, and Sabra Man Jr debuted in Mexico. Leigh Burton, Joe Simpson, War Machine, Ricky Storm, Dwayne Dark and Nighthawk debuted in the UK.

- Jared Johnson debuted here in the US. He looks like your run of the mill high flyer, but he in fact possesses amazing technical skills. He was trained by Johnny Bloodstone and is a talent I’m going to be keeping tabs on for the future.

- Mighty Mo came out of the TCW School of Pro Wrestling and is considered one of their hottest by-products. His got amazing power and a great look to him. Given the right chance, he could go far.

- TCW takes a big hit as Wolf Hawkins was diagnosed with Chronic Shoulder Pain and was told to take two and a half months off to heal.

- At maybe the most opportune time for him, Seiji Jimbo suffered a strained Rotator Cuff and will miss 40 days. Perfect time for him to get adjusted to being a promotion owner.

- Matthew Keith was asked during an online interview yesterday about friends in the business and he told the world that he and Mainstream Hernandez had been getting along great here in MCW.

- SWF continued their expansion as the signed a deal with PPV Japan to bring their big events to that part of the world each month.

Recent Contract News

- TCW went on a legit signing spree when they grew in size. They signed Mighty Mo, Sgt. Bubba Lee West, Carl Batch and Eugene Williams to written deals. They also brought Mikey James, and MCW’s own Matthew Keith and Kashmir Singh in on pay per appearance deals.

- SWF called Emmy and Primus Allen up from development.

- Ash Campbell signed with CZCW on a PPA deal.

- The Guru signed a PPA deal with PSW.

- Duke Hazzard signed a PPA deal with RIPW.

- WLW and GCG are preparing for their new tours by signing numerous talents to tour contracts.

- Our own Doc Messing left his spot in PSW when his contract expired.

- Mayhem Midden was released by RIPW.

- Steve Flash and Jack Griffith both fulfilled their commitments with CZCW and MAW respectively to complete the talent trades we had done.

Notable Title Changes (US and Canada Only)

- Jeremy and Dan Stone Jr. won the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup in NOTBPW for the third time.

- Tough Love, the team of JD Morgan and Nelson Callum, defeated The deadly Alliance, The wolverine and The Punisher, to capture the PSW Tag Team Titles.</font>

Jay and I held our creative meeting in person this month as I was in Cedar Rapids apartment hunting. Jay had moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa when he opened MCW. He had found a decent sized apartment there and was thinking to the future with the War Memorial Auditorium located there as well. He was planning on one day being able to draw 2000 fans to his shows and wanted that venue to be close to home. For now though he made the 35 minute drive up to Central City where Hunter’s Town Hall was located. I figured if this was really going to be my long term commitment, I would be better off moving out to Cedar Rapids instead of making the 4 hour, 220 mile drive each month from my hometown in rural Illinois. I was pretty sure I had found my place and broke off the hunt early to head to Jay’s to talk business. We sat down in his living and went over things.

We saw a nice increase in profit this month as we made $8200 thanks to a very good month with merchandise. The economy was still declining, rated at 74% strength compared to 76% the month before. The industry was on the rise though, rated at 61% compared to 59%. I was still loving this trend and can’t wait to sign good talent to long deals for cheap. Next we started going over our plans for the first annual Road to Glory tournament. I laid things out there for Jay and explained the logistics. We had already announced 4 of our top guys and needed 4 more. There were only two more people on our roster that were logical choices; Fumihiro Ota and Steve Flash. Ota would probably make the cut, but I wasn’t sure yet. Flash was out of the question since the tournament was to decide who would face the champion at ReVolution. Flash may not be the champion when that rolls around, I’m not solid on my plans yet, but it wouldn’t make sense for him to be in the tournament. So that meant we would need at least 3, maybe 4 outside talents to come in for the show. I had a few guys in mind; I just hoped the talent trades could work. We spent time discussing Night of Champions next and easily came up with five matches to promote. We were solidly into the three storylines we were running and they were going well. So I left and made the trek back home before sitting down to design the promotional poster for our April event.

Two of MCW’s hottest young talents are pitted against each other here. Can Frankie continue to chug along despite the many attacks of Jack Griffith? Or will Steve Parker capitalize on a weakened opponent?

I enjoyed the time in the back with the guys and spent the hours before the show greeting them all as they showed up. I was in favor of having rules in place that everyone had to be there three hours before bell time and stay until the show was over, but Jay said it probably wouldn’t be wise. I heeded his wish and left those rules out for now. Before we knew it seven o’clock was upon us and the show was ready to begin.</font></td></tr></table>

April wasn’t busy by any means, but none the less we had some things come up that needed to be taken care of. First off, I re-signed Thomas Morgan when his contract came due. The guy is solid to have around and I’m still hell bent on finding a way to give him one last hurrah. He signed for just a tad more than he was currently working for and I was okay with that. The other order of business that we had was saying goodbye to a man who our biggest future star was arguably. Davis Wayne Newton departed the company when RIPW came calling. Richard Eisen had found a legal loophole in our non-aggression pact and put Newton in RIPW on a developmental deal. I know the kid is going to go far and we wish him nothing but luck in the future. It was quiet other than that. Here are the notes I made about the month.

- DIW was able to rise back to Small size. I hope they last longer than a month this time.

- Syd Collier, who employs the traditional and old school wrestling style, debuted after coming out of the Mid Atlantic Boot Camp. He has decent enough potential and its only a matter of time before a guy like Rip Chord makes a star out of him.

- Amazing Fire Fly also debuted. He has lightning quick speed and gives off the vibe that wrestling comes natural. He may be a future star in the business.

- TCW will be broadcasting their PPVs to Canada now thanks to a deal with Canada 1-Choice.

<center><table width=40%><tr><td><font face=Calibri size=3>Well it was official, I had moved to Cedar Rapids. I found a very nice apartment and moved the little belongings I had the four hours west. Jay even gave me moving expenses to get settled in and buy the things I needed. I insisted we hold our creative meeting at my new place. Jay put up a small fight as we lived across town from one another and he didn’t want to fight with traffic. He finally gave in and decided to come see what his money had paid for. I had spent most of the month getting things set up and had used up all $2000 Jay had given me plus a huge chunk of my savings to make it home. I turned one of the extra bedrooms into my office and set up a nice lounging area in the living room. It was a modest place for a guy like me, but I never really had an interest in owning a house so I set the apartment up as I wanted to.

We got down to business and looked at our financial report for the month. Merchandise sales were way down from March, but that was to be expected when we our DVDs were not the only way to see us anymore. We bumped ticket prices just a dollar this month and it helped keep us right around $1000 in gate. After everyone was paid and the month was balanced we came out $3600 ahead. We were making profit and that was what mattered. Next we looked towards the industry and economy as rated by TotalExtremeWrestling.com. The economy was still on the decline, measured at 71% strength compared to 74% last month. The industry still showed growth though as it received a rating of 64% strength compared to 61% at the beginning of April. Next up was our discussion about Road to Glory. I had finalized my plans and presented them to Jay. He was extremely happy with what I had come up with. I decided to get four outside competitors for the show and hoped it would be worth it. We went through the show almost step by step and Jay gave his approval. After he had left, I went into my office and began designing the poster to be sent off to our printers.

The challenge was issued by Steve Flash last month, but Ota added a bit of spice by demanding the Heavyweight Title be put on the line. Steve Flash approached management and agreed to the match. Will Steve Flash prove that Ota is inferior? Or will Fumihiro capture gold for the first time in MCW?

MCW Alternative Title - Ladder Match

Mainstream Hernandez had finally had enough of Jacob Jett’s sneak attacks and requested a match for the Alternative Title. General Manager Katie Cameron agreed with him and signed the title match. Throughout the month she decided to add some spice by making the contest a ladder match. Which one of these two youngsters will climb the ladder and grab the prize?

The Road to Glory Tournament

Eight men enter the tournament for the chance to become the man to challenge for the MCW Heavyweight Title on MCW’s grandest stage. The first annual Road to Glory features four men from MCW and four men representing other companies. MCW management has been hard at work seeding the field and setting up the brackets. Allright, I lied. The weather was PERFECT for fishing tonight and I couldn't help myself. I spent most of the night fishing and hanging out with family. That’s not was had put me on edge for the night. I secluded myself in the locker room sitting in my own corner with my iPod blasting music in my ears. We hadn’t had any hiccups in the booking of the Road to Glory. I had heard horror stories from other bookers about workers refusing to lose in tournaments and feared that with no objections to my booking, something would go wrong tonight. This was by far the biggest show I had booked thus far and would likely come second only to ReVolution later in the year. I was a nervous wreck hoping that the show would go off smoothly and that made me a loner until bell time at seven o’clock. My stomach turned in knots as I shut off my music and headed to the curtain to oversee the show as it happened.</font></td></tr></table>

<font face=Calibri size=3>None of our contracts were up for renewal this month, so we had nothing to take care of there. I did however spend the first week of May looking for another low level worker to take Davis Wayne Newton’s spot. I settled on K-Squared and inked a pay per appearance deal with him through May of next year. That was it for us news wise, so here are the notes I jotted down about the rest of the wrestling scene.

Recent News

- NYCW rose to Regional size this month.

- EXODUS 2010 opened up in Japan. They could make a go of it with their fast paced action and realistic MMA based submission styles.

- Sam Keith broke his ankle in a match with Joey Minnesota on Saturday Night Showcase. He’ll be out of action for about 2 months.

- I guess with the economy on the decline, a lot of guys decided to get their money out of the money market to live on. There were a number of retirements, 7 to be exact, from around the world.

- Nene Ebina retired at the age of 41.

- Coyote Dynamite hung up his boots at the age of 44. He is best known for his tag team work winning tag team titles in numerous promotions. He was a 3 time TLW Tag Champion with Black Hat Bailey, a 2 time SCCW Tag Champion with Assassin #2 and a 4 time NYCW Tag Champion with Wiley Steinway.

- Alex Braun retired from active competition at the age of 48. Braun is best known for his time in DAVE, winning the Brass Knuckles title twice and the DAVE Tag Team Titles three times. He also won the RPW World Title twice and the PSW Title once.

- Mammoth retired at the age of 47.

- Whipper Spencer Marks finally left the business all together at the age of 71. He was best known for his 4 reigns as CWF National Tag Team Champions with George DeColt as the Calgary Wolverines, but Spencer also held the California Pro Wrestling Championship 3 times in the 70s.

- Dark Eagle retired from active competition at the age of 45. He captured the WLW Universal Title once and made the 2009 Power 100 at number 63.

- Friends of the Stone family intervened and forced Dan Stone and his son Edd to sit down and work out their differences. They did just that and the two seem to be back on good terms. One can only wonder what this will mean when Edd’s TCW contract expires.

- TCW extended their Pay Per View product into Mexico by signing a deal with Seleccion Mexico. WLW also signed a deal with Emperor Choice.

- SWF signed a deal with CBA to bring Uprising back to TV.

- Masked Patriot was called up to the SWF main roster.

- TCW hired Remmy Skye to a written deal.

- NYCW signed Jack Griffith and Fox Mask to PPA deals to go along with their rise to Regional size.

- WLW decided not to renew the contract of Acid. This is of great personal interest to me as I’ve got my eye on the masked man.

- Hannah was not renewed in SWF.

- Rajah captured the 4C Hardcore Title ending the 8 month reign of Antonio Del Veccio.</font>

<center><table width=50%><tr><td><font face=Calibri size=3>Jay and I met at his apartment this month for our creative meeting. We settled on switching back and forth from my place to his each month to share the driving duties. I’m not going to lie I felt like a couple trying to work out their long distance relationship when we had that discussion. Anyway, we jumped right into things off the heels of my biggest show booked yet. Road to Glory had went well and was a major shake up with both of our titles changing hands. The extra talent we had brought in brought our wage bill up fairly high and it limited us to a $2200 profit. I was still happy to see the profit though. That transitioned us into the state of the economy and wrestling industry. TotalExtremeWrestling.com rated the economy at 68% strength compared to 71% the month before. It was still on the decline. The industry was still rising, rated at 67% compared to 64% at the beginning of May. Our talks then moved to the creative side of things. I told Jay I had worked out what I wanted to do at Revolution and he liked the idea, but told me to make sure I had enough time to do build up. I assured him I would and we began talking about things more for the present rather than the future. Ota and Flash were set to continue their program and the Perez/Griffith beef was also still progressing. We did need to select someone to step up and challenge for the Alternative Title as that program had concluded for now. I did have a contender in mind and Jay gave me his support in the program. We then cooked up a card for our next show. We finally had a solid card in place and I headed home to design the poster and get it off to our advertising department to get the word out.

This bout pits two men going in opposite directions against one another. Steve Flash just lost the Heavyweight Title and Steven Parker just won the Road to Glory. Will Flash be able to stop his fall or will Parker use the former champion as another rung as he climbs the ladder to success?

MCW Heavyweight Title

Fumihiro Ota demanded a challenger for his title this month to prove he was going to be a fighting champion. He kept turning down proposed opponents stating that they were not deserving. He accepted Singh as his opponent and heads into June ready to defend his title.

These two men are no strangers to each other. This month they are scheduled against each other once again for nothing more than bragging rights. Which man will come out on top?

Both of these men suffered tough losses at the Road to Glory and are looking for redemption. Which man will get back on the path to victory?
