As we reported early, Sam Keith today was released from his contract with TCW. It is now understood that whilst creative differences and/or a monetary dispute were meant to have been behind the shock release, we now understand that Sam Keith had held talks with Canadian Golden Combat about the possibility of working along side Phil Vibert in a joint head booker role, A role Keith had held once before whilst with Supreme Wrestling Federation.

Cornell apparently was less then impressed with the future Hall of Immortals member once he’d got wind of Keith talking to CGC, the two legends have apparently been at each others throats over the incident, with the atmosphere in the TCW locker room at times unbearable if both men were in the same room.

Rumors are flying around that since the news broken of Keith’s sacking, that the TCW are split on the decision with some believing that Keith was treated unfairly by Cornell whilst others believe Cornell to be justified in his actions against Sam Keith.

What does this mean for the Wrestling industry only time will tell.

Sam Keith Joins CGC.

Sam Keith is coming back to Canadian Golden Combat after over twenty years since he last appeared in the CGC ring. The first ever CGC World Champion has signed on with CGC in a capacity which will not only see him work in ring but will also run the book along with Phil Vibert.

Keith had the following to say about joining back up with CGC. “It’s great to be back here in Canadian Golden Combat, I have some great memories here and it’s great to be back and I can’t wait to get started and meet the boys”. Keith also spoke upon his controversial release from TCW, Keith added “ Let me just set the record straight about my release from TCW, I personally asked for my release from Total Championship Wrestling. Yes I did want a run with the TCW World title but what wrestler doesn’t want to be a World champion?, I spoke to Tommy about the possibility of beating Rocky for the title but when I was told it wasn’t going to happen, I had go to away and think about that I wanted. And that’s when Phil got in touch about coming up north and after I thought about it for a while, it sounded like a fantastic opportunity that I didn’t want to turn down”.

Sam Keith will make his debut this Friday on Title Bout Wrestling.

CGC Canadian Title Match

Shane Nelson vs. Joey Poison©

Stevie Grayson & Zeus Maxmillion vs. Whippy the Clown & Thrill Seeker

Sam Keith vs. Sean Deeley

He's gotta win his debut match.

The DeColts vs. The Specialists

Jack DeColt vs. Eddie Chandler

This match could go either way but I will go with Eddie winning the match this time around.

Also good luck with this, I am always happy when I see a new CGC dynasty pop up because they are my favoriote company in the C-Verse and I feel that they don't get enough attention dynasty wise.
