I'm a big fan of Reed vs Steamboat. Funny though how both real life and here we don't get a Savage/Steamboat match-up.

Really hoping for a Dibiase/Rude or Roberts final.

The fans were correct: that Steamboat v. Valentine bout was awesome. I really like how methodical the Hammer was in the opening - very much fits.

Savage vs. Reed... While it goes contrary to smarkdom, it is my opinion that Savage could never beat Butch Reed one-on-one. At one point, Reed might have been one of the best of the powerhouses of the 80s. Not too sure what happened to the guy, but he was a monster.

Still, the last few minutes of that bout was exciting. I love how Savage went all out in that frantic finish; brass knuckles, his flying axe handle, and then trying to remove the turnbuckle corner for nefarious purposes. The only thing missing was Savage's confetti shower. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Saw it unfold perfectly in my mind. I've always been a fan of "The Natural" and was originally hoping for him. Then when Savage hit the axe handle I really thought he might have it in the bag within a few moves. It set off so many memories of him hitting it over the years I was hyped to see him possibly pull it out. At least I was half right I guess. I was at first going to do DOTT and C-verse both sims and actually playing a career. The careers quickly fell to the side as I started playing many matches at a time and started forgetting to record details and decided to give up on those. Then the DOTT recreations started turning out great matches, so I've yet to get to a C-Verse one, but it will happen.

Bigelow vs. OMG was a brutal bout. Those guys seemed to start busting out their heavy moves within the first two or three minutes. And while I liked One Man Gang, the better man won (imho).

As mentioned, the Rude vs. Roberts bout was almost perfect. Roberts took a beating, yet still nailed the DDT out of nowhere.

Hogan vs. Andre... eh; it was about what you would expect from those giants - almost the anti-Bigelow v OMG. Hogan's Spirit makes beating him quite the challenge, but it might have helped if Andre could have only hit one of those many Butt Drops.

hah! And Hogan countering that elbow drop with the finger wag of doom was probably the funniest sequence of the entire tournament.

You're my hero, Sar. Very entertaining stuff you are providing here.

I'd have paid to see a match like Roberts/Bam-Bam. That was awesome.

I WANT to see DiBiase win, as Hogan is just uninteresting to me. And, as much of a Steamboat mark as I am, I figure Roberts will win.

Fingers Crossed for a DiBiase vs Roberts Final. I think it would be the best match-up out of the possible scenarios.

Was disappointed with the Reed/Steamboat bout. It was almost a more lopsided and shorter (3:50!) match not to mention boring. (Un)Fortunately my computer crashed due to an over-heat before i was able to sim the entire match though I'm pretty sure the final move had just happened.
