ReapeRs Title Belt RendeRs 2013

Recommended Posts

Hey ReapeR, long time no write. I have a couple of belt

requests (if you still make them). If you can create these

Three belts, thanks in advance. Here are the belts :

- ECW World Heavyweight Champion (Black leathering)

- ECW World TV Champion (Yellow leathering)

- ECW World Tag Team Champions (Green leathering)

All three belts will have the same ECW logo as before and

I know you'll use your judgement on the designs of the

new belts.

- Superstar Jimi C.

Does anyone even bother to read the GIANT RED TEXT on the first page that clearly states that requests are close?

What is the purpose of this?

I hate it when people pull this crap, most people do not/would not think to check the first page.

Why would you expect someone to head over to a page that was made months and sometimes years ago?

If you want to respond fine and then we shall leave it at that.

I did not really want to get into a Lincoln/Douglas Debate where we dissect each other’s posts on something as trivial as where one should put their updates. I mean I think it is very presumptuous to think that everyone would share the same logic as you do. People either do not know or care where the updated page is.

You are right, MH was not ripping people a new butt hole my use of wording could have been better there. However, the fact still remains his post was completely unnecessary.

After all as I said previously, what concern is it to him? He did not create the thread; he is not a mod on the site. So why was his post necessary? Why should he be frustrated over someone bumping a post that has nothing to do with him?

Also like I said to him, if he is so concerned about people who bump up threads for trivial reasons why does he not go over to the diary section and rail against the people who do it over there all of the time?

I have been on sites where veteran posters act pissy when someone either does something they think is stupid or that they disagree with. Those sites tend to not be the most inviting of sites.

Now I do think this site is more inviting than others for the most part, but surely you can see how off putting it can be to have someone post a curt (That does sound better than what I wrote.) response.

At the end of the day we are all just customers on here, nothing more and nothing less. Perhaps the wrong response to someone might drive them away, thus losing Adam, Brian, or Arlie a sale.

WOW!! No longer stickied or even on the forum. I guess that's what happens when you're gone for too long.

Ok, first all, I would like to apologize to everyone for being absent for so long and leaving everyone's render requests hanging. I have been extremely busy (still in Korea for one more week) and just have not had much opportunity to get on here.

Second, being the "smart guy" that I am, I took all of my belt "stuff" and put it on an external hard drive. Figured this way if my computer crashes again, everything would be safe. Nope... didn't happen. Computer didn't crash, but my external hard drive did. That's right, for the third time, all of my belt data is gone. Unless you know how to get stuff off an external hard drives that just clicks over and over?!?

So, it is with great sadness that I officially retire from belt rendering. Not saying I won't ever come back to it, but as of right now, I don't have the time or money to search for/recreate all the data.

Anyway, I'll be on here from time to time, usually catching up on diary posts. So feel free to chat with me from time to time.

Yeah, that's it. Take care and I'll "see" everyone around the forums.

Sad to hear that you've retired from belt rendering, but I understand all about computer problems. Even now, I'm at my local public library typing out this message, as I'm off the internet at home for a while. All the belts you've made for me, (I'm particularly fond of all the MAX titles), have worked wonders for my TEW experience though, so many, many thanks for that.

I can knock together a load of blank plates, straps & parts if you like ReapeR, give you a bit of a headstart on things if you do wanna start back up again? I also have a couple of your psds you put out there ages ago, so you could use those to build up your layer styles again ;)

Not gonna let me go down without a fight, I see. :D

If and when I do come back to this, I'll keep you in mind.

Thanks for looking out.
