WCW: A modern re-birth, to shock the wrestling world.

Ha! I knew it was Warrior, I was right! Give me my prize! :D

Anyway, good show. And Danielson? Huge news, how did that happen? Tell us all. I thought you had a no poaching politics, why start a war now? Look forward for that war.

Haha yeah, you got it after the first segment too. Good call.

And I had a really good backstory and explanation for Danielson jumping ship and what/why the war is being kicked off now, along some other really cool ideas involving new matches, match types, themed PPV, etc..I was going to use to help tell an ongoing narrative of the war between two companies but judging by the lack of response/predictions the last few shows, I don't know if anyone's reading this anymore.

Bummer, since, as I said, I had some cool stuff planned, but I guess present-day sims aren't that popular on here. Anyways, every update takes a couple hours to write, sim, format, etc.., not including those promo vids I was making, so if no one's reading anymore, I probably won't be putting up any more posts since it's too much time to justify spending on something no one's reading, haha. Maybe I'll update if I'm bored or something. Thanks for the input along the way guys, hopefully those of you that followed got a couple hours of fun out of it!

<strong>WCW Nitro </strong>opens up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Nitro's always impressive pyrotechnics display.<strong> Tony Schiavone</strong> and <strong>Diamond Dallas Page</strong> are on fire tonight as they both wonder how and why Bryan Danielson is in WCW while at the same time hyping his appearance tonight in which he will address why he left WWE. But first; a match specially ordered by <strong>WCW commissioner Ric Flair</strong> in a special showcase. The top two prospects in the company go at it head to head; <strong>Kevin Steen vs Roderick Strong!</strong><strong><em> (C+)</em></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Kevin_Steen.jpg</span> <strong>vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Roderick_Strong.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#0000FF;">Kevin Steen</span> vs <span style="color:#FF0000;">Roderick Strong</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kevin Steen</strong> defeats Roderick Strong. Steen gets the pinfall after both the referee and Roderick Strong are distracted by <strong>Adam Pearce</strong> at ringside, allowing Steen to get the cheap roll-up victory in a good opener. <strong>(C+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/AlexShelley5.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Petey_Williams3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere backstage, <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> walks into the <strong>Team Canada</strong> dressing room. The guys stand up, but <strong>Williams</strong> tells them to back off so he can hear what Shelley has to say. Shelley tells Williams that if he's willing to end this whole feud between them tonight, and promise not to have any of "these guys" at ringside, he'll put up the <strong>WCW Television title</strong> against him in a singles match. Williams ponders for a second before accepting. The two shake hands and stare each other down, before Shelley eventually leaves. <em><strong>(C+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Dave_Batista.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage, <strong>Batista</strong> is walking through a hallway when something makes him stop in his tracks. Scott Steiner walks into frame and the two size each other up. <strong>Steiner</strong> says last night didn't change anything between then, and that they still have unfinished business. Batista says he had him laid out before <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> weasled his way to victory, but if he wants him so bad, they can go at it tonight. Steiner says that's fine with him, and to find a tag partner for a 2 on 2 match later tonight....if he can. Steiner leaves laughing as Batista is left looking confused. <em><strong>(B+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>(WCW Television Title)</strong></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Petey Williams</strong> defeats Alex Shelley to become the new WCW Television Champion. Williams gets the win when Williams distracts the referee, allowing a returning <strong>Sean Morley</strong> to run in through the crowd and clock Shelley from behing with his own title. Williams scrambles over and gets the pinfall victory. <em><strong>(C-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/SeanMorley.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Petey_Williams3.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/AlexShelley5.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Colt_Cabana2.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Antonio_Banks2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, <strong>Sean Morley </strong>and <strong>Petey Williams</strong> stomp on <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> relentlessly, obviously the title not enough to satisfy them. This continues until <strong>Antonio Banks</strong> and <strong>Colt Cabana</strong> make the save causing Williams and Morley to bail, but celebrate Williams' newly won title. <em><strong>(D+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ric_Flair2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Back from commercial, <strong>Ric Flair</strong> is standing in the ring with a microphone, while <strong>Shane Helms</strong>, in his wrestling gear, waits in the corner for his match to start. Flair starts on about stealing <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> from the WWE, and how he officially declared war on WWE last night by doing so. But he promised that was only the start of the war and tonight he's going to continue it by debuting Shane Helm's opponent for the match; WCW's newest star, a former world champion and one of the most exciting men ever to step foot into a wrestling ring....<strong>REY MYSTERIO!</strong> <em><strong>(B+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpg</span> <strong>vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/GregoryHelmsAAF4.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Rey Mysterio</span> vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Shane Helms</span></p><p>

<strong>(#1 Contendership of WCW Cruiserweight Title)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rey Mysterio</strong> defeats Shane Helms. Mysterio makes short works of Helms in an exciting match. Rey gets the pinfall after the 619/West Coast Pop. <em><strong>(B-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Chavo_Guerrero_Jr.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/CarlyColon4.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, <strong>WCW Tag Team Champions, Chavo Guerrero and Carly Colon</strong> come down to the ring to celebrate and welcome <strong>Rey Mysterio</strong>. Rey looks somewhat uneasy as this display of affection and reluctantly joins in. The three walk to the back celebrating to a mix of boos toward Chavo and Carly and cheers for Rey. <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/TerryFunk7.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Low_Ki3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Next out is <strong>Terry Funk</strong> with a surprising return, as he hasn't been since seen since his hardcore match at Superbrawl with <strong>Homicide.</strong> Funk acknowledges that at his age, he doesn't feel like an immortal anymore, and injuries have kept him out lately, but there's no way he'd ever miss an event like <strong>Starrcade</strong>. Funk tries to go on about his promise to appear on the show when he's interrupted by <strong>Low Ki</strong>'s music. Low Ki comes down to the ring and tells Funk things were a lot better last month without him; he got his first PPV win in the company, and it was all because washed up bums like Funk weren't there to steal spots from younger, more entertaining guys. Funk tells Ki he respects him, but wrestling is in his blood and all he can do with his life, and he'll keep going until he loses or dies in the ring. Low Ki tells him he can help with both and then spits in his face. Funk just wipes the spit away, and walks to the back while a furious Ki still yells to try and get Funk to fight him.<em><strong> ©</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#0000FF;">Harry Smith and Teddy Hart</span> vs <span style="color:#FF0000;">Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid</span></p><p>

<strong>(#1 Contendership of WCW Tag Team Titles)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid</strong> defeat Harry Smith and Teddy Hart. Ultimo Dragon gets the pinfall on Teddy Hart after a quick victory-roll pinfall that Harry couldn't break up in time. The Dragons pick up a surprising win and a shot at the WCW Tag Team Titles. <em><strong>(D+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/BillGoldberg.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/kevin_nash5.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage, <strong>Goldberg</strong> is just leaving <strong>Eric Bischoff</strong>'s office when he's attacked by <strong>Kevin Nash</strong>. Nash slams him into walls and tosses him into nearby equipment all while yelling that Goldberg made a fool of him last night. Nash continues maliciously attacking Goldberg until WCW official have to get him restrained. <em><strong>(B-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Shelton_Benjamin.jpg</span> <strong>vs </strong><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Yoshihiro_Tajiri.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Shelton Benjamin</span> © vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Tajiri</span> </p><p>

<strong>(WCW United States Title)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Shelton Benjamin</strong> defeats Tajiri to retain his WCW US Title. Shelton hits the Superkick after ducking Tajiri's mist, and picks up the pinfall. Very good back and forth match. <em><strong>(B-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ultimate_Warrior.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Back from commercial, <strong>Warrior'</strong>s music hits and he comes running down to the ring. He grabs a mic and thanks the fans for all welcoming him back. He says he came back to try and make amends with <strong>Hulk Hogan</strong>, but Hogan's ego won't allow the man that derailed Hulkamania to be his friend. He calls out Hogan to come out in face him in another "Battle of the Superpowers" but Hogan doesn't come, leaving a dissapointed crowd. <em><strong>©</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Shelton_Benjamin.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/JohnMorrison4.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage, <strong>Shelton Benjamin</strong> is walking with his recently defended <strong>WCW United States Title</strong> when he crosses paths with <strong>WCW Cruiserweight Champion John Hennigan</strong>, also brandishing his title. The two stop, eye each other and each other's title down, before Hennigan sarcastically says "see you around." <strong>Ted DiBiase</strong> keeps Shelton in check and keeps him walking down the hallway away from Hennigan. <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Dave_Batista.jpg</span> <strong>vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Rhyno.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Batista</span> vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Scott Steiner and Rhyno</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Scott Steiner and Rhyno</strong> defeat <strong>Batista.</strong> Steiner and Rhyno tactically distract the referee, allowing the other to cheat and pick Batista apart. The finish comes when a distracted referee doesn't see Steiner low blow Batista and Rhyno gores and pins him for the win.<em><strong> ©</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Dave_Batista.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, <strong>Scott Steiner</strong> continues the beatdown, stomping <strong>Batista</strong> relentlessly. Eventually, he puts him into the Steiner Recliner and a helpless Batista screams in pain until referees and WCW workers come in and break things up. Steiner leaves as the crowd boos loudly. <em><strong>(B-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Back from a break, Bryan Danielson comes down to the ring and the crowd explodes with both boos and cheers as everyone eagerly awaits wait he has to say. Danielson gets into the ring and grabs a mic, but tentatively waits, soaking in the moment. He starts by saying that first of all, he didn't do this for the WCW or the fans, which gets a less than warm reaction, of course. He says he did this purely for himself. He had a joke of a title run in WWE and it was clear he was never going to be taken seriously in that company. He says anyone with half a brain knows that he's the greatest wrestler on earth, but that only goes so far in this business. He says he came to WCW because of the opportunity to become the undisputed king of the wrestling world, a legacy he plans to begin by winning the WCW World Heavyweight Title at Starrcade. With that, he calls out Booker T. <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Booker_T3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Booker T</strong> comes out, without a mic, seemingly content on listening to what <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> has to say. Danielson continues on his tirade by telling Booker he's just a paper champion, hand picked and hand fed another title shot by the old boy's club that's run this company in it's current inception and it's last. But, he tells Booker times have changed. The old boy's club is dying off and the young lions are nipping at their heels. Finally, Danielson introduces Booker to the main reason he came to WCW: Family. With that, <strong>The American Wolves; Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards</strong> run in from the crowd, flanking Booker T, and the two, along with Danielson, beat him down. Nitro goes off the air while the crowd boos the trio of Bryan Danielson and The American Wolves as they celebrate their new-formed alliance in the middle of the ring. <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Highlights</strong>:</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="color:#8B0000;">BREAKING NEWS: REY MYSTERIO FOLLOWS BRYAN DANIELSON TO WCW!</span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

- The foremost thought on everyone's mind is why <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong>, and now <strong>Rey Mysterio</strong> left <strong>WWE</strong> for <strong>WCW</strong>. Mysterio is though to have to left for a few reasons. First, he has two strikes against him in WWE's Wellness Policy, which means the company almost certainly won't put the title on him in fear of a third strike. Second, WCW offered him much, much more than he was making in WWE. Mysterio was given a 2 million dollar a year deal for the next three years and a 125k signing bonus, while not having to work house shows. This three contract covers him for what he'd make in 5 in WWE and the work schedule is significantly lighter. Sources also say he wanted to make way for Sin Cara to take his place as the merch-moving luchador in the company.</p><p> </p><p>

- <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> left under similar circumstances, having been given the same 2 million dollar contract <strong>Rey Mysterio</strong> was. This is a vast, vast, vast difference from his <strong>WWE</strong> contract, but being arguably the best in the world, <strong>WCW</strong> jumped at the chance to lock him up and make him their top star. The biggest selling point for Danielson was apparently having all his best friends in the business already in the company in <strong>Colt Cabana, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Roderick Strong, Paul London, Brian Kendrick</strong>, etc.. When Danielson heard the company wants to build around his group of friends, and realised the company was becoming a serious threat to WWE, he made the decision to jump on board and lead the charge.</p><p> </p><p>

- While these two signings are great news for <strong>WCW</strong> that will no doubt help them boost ratings, both <strong>Rey Mysterio</strong> and <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong>, along with Dave Batista, carry hefty price tags. The company needs to start making money quick or they'll be packing their bags.</p><p> </p><p>

- <strong>WWE</strong> has responded to <strong>WCW</strong>'s attempt at starting a war by declaring that they're in, and will be fighting back at WCW. While many though that <strong>Vince </strong>would try to sweep WCW under the rug like he did with <strong>TNA</strong>, he is too furious to do anything but trying to kill them at this point. </p><p> </p><p>

- <strong>WCW</strong> is reportedly very happy with their Spring Stampede buyrate, with it coming close to Superbrawl's buyrate, which generally is one of their flagship events.</p><p> </p><p>

- <strong>WWE Raw</strong> dropped to a 2.4 rating this week, while <strong>WCW Nitro</strong> and <strong>TNA Impact </strong>each stayed at 1.3. </p><p> </p><p>

- <strong>WCW</strong> is very happy with their first batch of callups' matches. While Ricochet, Adam Cole and Kazuchika Okada all put on good performances, much is left to be learned for the three. The Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson, however, looked great in their match and could see TV time sooner rather than later.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<p>Keep writing I'm enjoying reading it as it's similar to the one I'm doing. I'm three months into my game but I have posted two shows. I have only had 1 predicition for my matches but I will keep plodding on.</p><p> </p><p>

As Texasranger said write because you want to not because people expect it. I will only write one or two shows a week because I don't wish to burn out and also because I have a job, wife and three kids.</p><p> </p><p>

I will predict when I can but you turn stuff around so quickly I miss some. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Nice show and awesome signing. Rey mysteryo! Nice! The only thing missing now is for you to sign hbk and make him a 20 time world champ! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I'm loving this diary, keep it coming, man.

<p>Thanks for the motivation guys! Although, I wasn't doing the dynasty <em>for</em> the posts, it's just when I saw only a couple guys were posting lately, I thought that people stopped reading. I guess there's a lot more lurkers around here than I thought!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="shawn michaels 82" data-cite="shawn michaels 82" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35517" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Nice show and awesome signing. Unfortunately none of their contracts are up for re-negotiation for quite some time, so Rey and Bryan will be it for the next couple months, but some guys that could eventually come are: Randy Orton (two WWE Wellness violations, WWE won't put title on him), Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) (all his friends are in WCW, promise of a huge push) and William Regal, (relegated to announcing in WWE due to two Wellness Violations, promise of main event run in WCW) among a few others. </p><p> </p><p> Guys with no ties to WCW like Sheamus, Cena, Del Rio, or even old, but faded ties, like Jericho and Big Show, etc.. won't be offered contracts under any circumstances unless WCW somehow (this would be years down the line, if it happens!) becomes a larger company than WWE.</p>

<p>Shockmaster, a few question if you don't mind.</p><p> </p><p>

What level did you start WCW at? I started mine and Cult and trying to build up to National.</p><p>

I see you broke the bank for two WWE stars, what sort of money did you start your game with? I manage to get a pretty big star from them even though I'm at cult level. I didn't offer excessive money so might have just been luck. I started my game with 50,000,000 <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

I'm trying to build up some of my lesser wrestlers like Reid Flair and Harry Smith but they bring the ratings down so much, and tips and to improve them and not kill the show?</p><p> </p><p>

My shows range from a B to a C+, I have only had a A* angle once and that was with Brett Fly aka Zach Ryder in my second event.</p>

I started the game with half the money you did (there's a full breakdown of who owns/bought what in the deal in the opening post), specifically 25.5million. However, I subtracted a significantly large amount from that in order to "buy" the rights to the WCW name, so I actually started with somewhere in the 7-figure range (less than 10m). I think it's pretty interesting this way, as the company really does have to gamble by signing big stars like I've been doing. If they don't bring in the ratings, WCW is going bankrupt!</p><p> </p><p> As for your latter question, I'm sure other people could answer it better than me, since I've only been playing a few months, but what I did with someone already slightly known like Harry Smith, was build him slowly, losing his first month, pair with another slightly known worker in his cousin Teddy, have them lose still, mostly, then pair them someone more over like Petey Williams and a manager that's very over like Roddy Piper, and get them involved in some undercard PPV matches/storylines along the way. Harry Smith went from a D+ popularity in every region of America to C+ popularity, and C's and C+'s in Canada to B-'s and B's, both in the span of four months (I'm a month ahead of the dynasty). He's probably one of the better ones so far, as I tried to get Koji Kanemoto over, but even though he's a great worker, the language barrier (why I had Mr. Fuji managing him originally) and lack of popularity in America to start with, has pretty much killed everything he's been a part of.</p>

I don't know why I put $50 mil because I knew where I started at low cult I would have no chance of buying the big boys. Backstage, <strong>Sean Morley, Harry Smith, Teddy Hart</strong> and <strong>Roddy Piper</strong> all are congratulating <strong>Petey Williams</strong> once more on his second reign as WCW Television Champion. Petey stops them and tells them to stick to the gamplan to ensure Petey walks out of "this hick town" with the title tonight. Morley, Smith and Hart leave to "take care of it".<em><strong> (D+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere backstage, <strong>Low Ki</strong>, furious about his loss to <strong>Roderick Strong</strong>, is trashing the catering area, destroying everything in sight. <strong>Terry Funk</strong> runs over and tries to calm him down, which works for the time being. Unfortunately, once Funk turns around, Low Ki kicks him in the back of the head, knocking him out instantly. Low Ki leaves Funk lying on the floor. <em><strong>©</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Londrick </strong>defeats the Briscoes. Paul London gets the win after hitting the Shooting Star Press on Jay Briscoe in a very good mid-card match between these young workers.<em><strong> (C+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Backstage, <strong>Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid</strong> are getting ready in their dressing room. WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the duo's partner in tonight's main event, <strong>Booker T</strong>, comes walking in. Booker tells the Dragons that tonight may just be another match for them, but he has to send a message to <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> tonight that you can't just walk in, and take something he worked so hard to get. Booker asks if they can dig that, and Ultimo and Kid just slowly nod. Booker leaves and the Dragons go back to getting ready. <em><strong>©</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Bobby_Lashley.jpg</span> <strong>vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Kevin_Steen.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Bobby Lashley</span> vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Kevin Steen</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kevin Steen</strong> defeats Bobby Lashley. The end comes after Steen dodges a spear, sending Lashley flying into the ringpost, allowing Steen to roll Lashley up from behind for the pinfall in a pretty good, technically sound match between two big guys. <em><strong>(C+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/SeanMorley.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Harry_Smith.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Teddy_Hart.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/AlexShelley5.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Colt_Cabana2.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Antonio_Banks2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage, <strong>Sean Morley, Harry Smith</strong> and <strong>Teddy Hart</strong> barge into the dressing room of <strong>Colt Cabana, Alex Shelley</strong> and <strong>Antonio Banks</strong>, completely blindsiding them. The attack goes on for a minute or two until Team Canada bails before they can be seen by backstage workers. Cabana, Shelley and Banks are left barely awake on the floor. <em><strong>(C-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/JohnMorrison4.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Shelton_Benjamin.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/TedDiBiase.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere backstage, <strong>John Hennigan</strong> and <strong>Shelton Benjamin</strong> once again cross each others paths. The two champions get right into each other faces before Hennigan tells Shelton that he's got a big attitude problem, walking around like he's not just a paper champion. Shelton says he's no paper champ, and tells Hennigan to meet him in the ring if he's so cocky. Hennigan tells him that's a great idea, but he wants a tag match. At first Shelton is hesitant, but <strong>Ted DiBiase</strong>, his manager, pulls him aside and whispers in his ear. Shelton smiles and accepts, tells Hennigan he'll see him the ring later, and then promptly leaves, laughing. <em><strong>(B+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Koji_Kanemoto.jpg</span> <strong> vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Petey_Williams3.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Koji Kanemoto</span> vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Petey Williams</span> </p><p>

<strong>(WCW Television Title)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Petey Williams</strong> defeats Koji Kanemoto to retain the WCW Television Title. With the comfort of knowing his recent adversaries are incapacitated, Williams defeats Kanemoto clean after hitting the Canadian Destroyer.<em><strong> (D)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/BillGoldberg.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/kevin_nash5.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

A replay video showing <strong>Kevin Nash </strong>viciously attacking <strong>Goldberg</strong> backstage is played. Nash is shown putting Goldberg through catering tables, and repeatedly stomping on Goldberg until being restrained. <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/kevin_nash5.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ric_Flair2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The shot cuts to <strong>Ric Flair</strong>'s office where he and<strong> Nash</strong> are watching the replay on a TV. Flair turns it off and turns to Nash to berate him about the incident. He says <strong>Goldberg</strong> is home nursing his injuries this week, but he'll be back next week to address Nash on his position in WCW, and the possibility of him being fired. Flair tells Nash to get out of his face, which naturally causes him to stare down the Nature Boy for a few seconds, before leaving. <strong>(B)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Shelton_Benjamin.jpg</span> <strong>vs</strong> <span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/GregoryHelmsAAF4.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/JohnMorrison4.jpg</span></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin</span> vs <span style="color:#0000FF;">Shane Helms and John Hennigan</span> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin</strong> defeat Shane Helms and John Hennigan. Mysterio has Helms set up for the 619, but before he can pull the move off, his "hermano" <strong>Chavo Guerrero</strong>, hits Helms in the head with a chair from ringside, knocking him out. This goes unnoticed by the referee who is watching Shelton and Hennigan brawl at ringside, so Rey reluctantly pins Helms for the victory. <em><strong>(C+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Chavo_Guerrero_Jr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

On their way to the back, instead of celebrating, <strong>Rey</strong> lays into <strong>Chavo</strong> about how he doesn't need his help to win matches. Chavo tries to argue that they have to stick together if they want to be champions, but Rey pushes him aside and walks to the back by himself. <em><strong>(B-)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Back from commercial, <strong>Scott Steiner </strong>comes down to the ramp with a mic. He says<strong> Batista </strong>won't be here this week because he's at home, injured at the hands of Scott Steiner. He says signing Batista is the biggest mistake WCW has ever made, and that's saying something! He tells Batista to go back to the Z-Leagues of MMA and beat up fat old nobodies, but his tirade is interrupted by the man himself, Batista! <em><strong>(B)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Dave_Batista.jpg</span><span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steiner</strong>, backs off, immediately trying to apologize for the slew of remarks he just finished making, but <strong>Batista</strong> isn't looking too sympathetic. Steiner tries to run away but Batista clotheslines him for his efforts. Batista drags him over to the edge of the stage and picks him up for a Batista bomb! He tosses Steiner down through the equipment below as the crowd looks on in awe. Nitro cuts to commercial as EMTs run to Scott Steiner's side.<em><strong> (B+)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Good show. You should bring back prediction contests for ppv's and give the winner a prize, a booking decision like deciding the next #1 contender, or stuff like that. Also, as i guessed about warrior, i should have the first prize. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Main Card:

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Booker_T3.jpg

WCW Nitro kicks off with WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, coming down to the ring in a suit, with his world title draped over his shoulder. He grabs a mic and immediately lays into Bryan Danielson and his lackeys; The American Wolves, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, for laying a beating on him after last week's Nitro. Booker says if Danielson wants him so bad, then he can take him on tonight, one on one! (B+)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Booker_T3.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg

Bryan Danielson answers Booker T by walking down to the ring, mic in-hand. The number one contender tells Booker T he wants nothing more than to take him on, one-on-one. But not tonight. He plans to save their World Title match for the grandest stage of them all; Starrcade. But if Booker, wants Danielson so bad, then he can go through Eddie Edwards and Davey Edwards to get at him in a gauntlet match! Booker accepts as the crowd cheers and Nitro heads to commercial. (B)

Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid vs Carly Colon and Chavo Guerrero

(WCW Tag Team Titles)

Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid defeat Carly Colon and Chavo Guerrero in a surprise, upset victory, to become the new WCW Tag Team Champions. Near the end of the match, Chavo Guerrero tries to order Rey Mysterio (who is accompanying his friends at ringside) to give him his Tag title so he can hit Ultimo Dragon with it while the referee is down. Rey refuses, leading to an argument with he and Chavo, which Ultimo Dragon uses to his advantage to get a quick roll up from behind for the pinfall. ©

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Chavo_Guerrero_Jr.jpg

After the loss, with the Dragons music still playing, an incredulous Chavo Guerrero lays into Rey Mysterio, saying that Rey cost him the match. Rey tries to apologize, but Chavo and Carly Colon shove past him and head to the back, yelling at fans in the crowd as they go. (B)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Roderick_Strong.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Kevin_Steen.jpg

Backstage, Roderick Strong finds Kevin Steen and confronts him. Strong tells Steen that he knows he had to cheat to win in their match, and that if he has any integrity, he'll meet him for a rematch tonight. Steen tells Strong that he won fair and square. He says he's headlined two PPVs in WCW already and that Strong isn't even on his level, but if he really wants to meet him in the ring tonight, then he'll find a tag partner and face Steen and Adam Pearce. Strong agrees and walks away to find a partner. ©

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Roderick_Strong.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Colt_Cabana2.jpg

Backstage, Roderick Strong walks into his former tag partner, Colt Cabana's dressing room and asks him to team up with him to face Kevin Steen and Adam Pearce later tonight. Colt tells Strong that he wasn't around for him when he needed a tag partner a few weeks ago, because Strong was too busy hanging around with this new friend, Bill Goldberg. Colt sarcastically suggest Strong get Goldberg to be his tag partner before telling him to leave so he can get ready. (C+)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Dave_Batista.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ric_Flair2.jpg

The shot cuts to Ric Flair's office, which Batista walks into. The two stare at each other for a few seconds before the two former Evolution members remark about what a long time it's been. Batista tells Flair he was never pinned to lose his number one contender spot, and that he still wants a shot. Flair tells the big man that there's nothing he can do, with Booker T vs Bryan Danielson already being booked for Starrcade. Flair tells Batista if he gets a couple wins in the next few weeks, he'll "see what he can do". Batista looks at his former running mate and tells him it's funny how time can change people, before leaving. The camera pans to Flair before cutting away to the ring. (B+)

After the match, Team Canada comes down and attempts to send a message to Lashley through a gang-beating after the match, until Colt Cabana, Alex Shelley and Antonio Banks run down to even the numbers. Shelley has a chair which he uses to take out Sean Morley, Harry Smith and Teddy Hart, while Cabana and Banks set their sights on Petey Williams, who they drag to the outside and double team through the announce table! Nitro heads to commercial as Tony and DDP survey the wreckage. ©

Before the next match, a replay video is shown of Low Ki attacking Terry Funk last week. The video shows Funk trying to settle down Low Ki, only to receive a headkick, as Tony and DDP talk about what a savage Low Ki is. (C-)

Backstage, Batista is walking through a hallway, when Jindrak calls him over to ask him a question. Instead, Jindrak grabs a pipe off the table he's standing beside and clocks Batista over the head with it, knocking him down and out instantly. Jindrak tosses the pipe and tells Batista "Scott Steiner sends his regards.", before walking off. (B-)

Kevin Steen and Adam Pearce vs Roderick Strong and Kenny Omega

Kevin Steen and Adam Pearce defeat Roderick Strong. Steen and Pearce use Omega and Strong's inexperience as tag partners against them, as Steen gets the pinfall on Omega, while Pearce distracts Strong with a brawl on the outside. (C-)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Shelton_Benjamin.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/JohnMorrison4.jpg

Backstage, WCW Cruiserweight Champion John Hennigan is doing an interview. When asked about the pressure of Rey Mysterio being the number one contender to his title, and their impending match next week, Hennigan tries to cover up for the fact that he's clearly nervous about it. Shelton Benjamin, passing by, cracks a joke off camera about Hennigan, and the camera pans to show him laughing. A very tense Hennigan snaps and attacks the US champion, throwing him headfirst into walls and stomping him repeatedly on the ground until backstage workers restrain him. (B-)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/EricBischoff2.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ultimate_Warrior.jpg

Elsewhere in Eric Bischoff's office, an upset Warrior walks in. Warrior demands to know where Hulk Hogan is, but Bischoff informs him that Hogan is, again, not here. Warrior says after three weeks of no-shows, it's obvious Hogan is ducking him. Warrior demands to face Hogan at Starrcade, but Bischoff says Hogan isn't with the company in a wrestling capacity. Warrior tells Bischoff that Hogan better show up and address him before Starrcade, or it'll be Bischoff's ass. ©

Booker T vs Eddie Edwards, Davey Richards and Daniel Bryan

(Gauntlet Match)

Daniel Bryan defeats Booker T. Booker takes out Eddie Edwards in a competitive match with a scissor kick, but Davey Richards, instead of wrestling, just hits Booker across the head with a chair, knocking him out, and getting himself disqualified. At first Tony and DDP are confused, but it all makes sense when Daniel Bryan comes in and covers Booker T for the win in the gauntlet match! (B)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Booker_T3.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Eddie_Edwards22.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Davey_Richards.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg

After the match, a victorious Bryan Danielson poses with Booker T's WCW World Heavyweight Title, yelling under his music that it's his title. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards torment a laid out Booker until Danielson corrals them and the group heads to the back and Nitro heads to commercial. (B)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/BillGoldberg.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/kevin_nash5.jpg

Back from commercial, WCW President of Talent Relations, Bill Goldberg, comes down the ring with a microphone to address the status of Kevin Nash in WCW. Goldberg starts off by saying not only did Kevin Nash cross a line with him by attacking him, but he also breaced his contract by attacking a WCW official. He tells Kevin Nash to come down to the ring immediately so Goldberg can deliver a message to him in person. A reluctact Kevin Nash comes down to the ring and stands across from Goldberg, looking as bored as possible. Goldberg says there's been a lot of talk the past two weeks after Nash attacked Goldberg, with people wondering "what's next" for Kevin Nash. Goldberg then turns to Kevin Nash and with a sly mile says "Well Nash...YOU'RE NEXT!". Goldberg then hits a huge spear on Nash, much to the crowd's delight. Goldberg picks the mic back up and tells Nash that at Starrcade, it's Nash vs Goldberg! Nitro goes off the air as a shocked Tony and DDP discuss this huge announcement. (B+)

- To many people's surprise, WCW put the tag titles on Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid. Some believe WCW has intentions to push them as one of their central teams, while others believe they are transitional champions.

- Prince Devitt impressed many this week with his dark match debut against John Hennigan. Word is, WCW would like to give him a push when their current storylines play out.

Nice show. But next week's nitro is before or after starrcade? Cause you offering a ppv worthy main event in the form of booker vs. American dragon before starrcade would be a bad decision, in my opinion.

There's still two weeks left until Starrcade, I elected for a five-week build up since it's the flagship event. And there's a method to my madness, trust me ;) We here at WCW are not in the business of giving away free PPV worthy main events for no reason!

So Starrcade is a couple posts away, and shawnmichaels82 had a cool idea to get any readers involved. The poster who predicts the most correct matches for Starrcade will either get to select a feud they want to see, a worker they want to see pushed, choose who gets the next title shot, or get to assign gimmick matches during the next PPV. It's their choice! Hopefully this a cool idea that everyone's on board with, as I always liked the fan-voting element of WWE PPVs (when it's not clearly rigged!)

Anyways, next Nitro is almost done and will be up in a couple hours, then the go-home show will be up tomorrow morning.

Last thing: I've been looking at other dynasties to try to make mine more aesthetically pleasing/easier to read/more interesting, etc.. So any suggestions would be cool! I have a long, cool storyline mapped out both for WCW storylines and the Monday Night War storyline, and I wanna make sure everyone sticks around to hear it, so give me your feedback on what you wanna see fixed or what you wanna see added!
