OOT: I will be using Jeff Jarrett as my avatar for this dynasty. It will be from 2006 using TNA as my promotion. My show reports will be short and sweet. I will do updates on the wrestling world, and try to make a good Dynasty :)

Current TNA Events!

 

-Jeff Jarrett has been offering many written contracts to top stars in the past 48 hours.

 

-Word going around is that 2 major stars have been offered deals to work for TNA. More news as we get it. They are both rumored to be former world champions.

 

-The majority of the Final Resolution card will be reveled on impact this week. We can expect a Jeff Jarrett/Rhino main event.

Impact Preview for Week 1 of January 2006:

 

-Rhino is looking for a shot at the NWA World Championship, but Jeff Jarrett promises a match with him wont be easy to get. What will the war machine do to earn a match?

 

-Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin will be going 1 on 1, in a battle of two exciting X-Division talents! Will Alex Shelly be able to defeat a former X-Division champion?

 

-Aj Styles will be facing off against "the Alpha Male" Monty Brown. It will be a contest between two completely different styles, who will reign supreme?

IMPACT WEEK 1 OF JANUARY:

 

We are in front of a sold out crowd from the Hard Rock Arena live in Florida, welcome to Impact Wrestling!

 

The Show opens with the war machine coming down to the ring. Rhino grabs a microphone. "Jeff Jarrett, as the former World champion, I want to use my rematch clause!" The crowd pops. Jeff Jarrett makes his way to the ring. "Rhino, let me make this real simple for you. I own TNA! And what I say goes. So tonight, you will take on James Storm. If you win, you can fight me at Final Resolution!"

-Segment Rating: B-

 

MATCH 1: Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelly

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Sabin defeated Alex Shelley in 7:58 by pinfall.

-Chris Sabin seemed off his game tonight, however him and Alex Shelly showed great chemistry. Match Rating: C

 

Match 2: Aj Styles vs. Monty Brown (Match Of The Night)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, A.J. Styles defeated Monty Brown in 11:57 by pinfall with a Styles Clash.

-Match Rating: B-

 

Match 3: Rhino vs. James Storm (Main Event)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rhino defeated James Storm in 19:40 by pinfall with a Gore.

-This match did not live up to expetations, giving me some worry about Rhinos showdown with JJ. Match rating: C+

 

After the match, the champion Jeff Jarrett sneaks up behind Rhino and knocks him out with a shot to the head with his title belt! Jeff Jarrett puts his foot on the chest of Rhino and raises his arm showing pure arrogance!

-Segment Rating: C+

 

SHOW RATING: C- (This is not a good start to the new year!)

Monday Week 2, January 2006

 

Wrestling News:

 

-Last night, TNA signed a deal to have Impact be shown for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Starting next week, Impact will be a 90 minute show!

 

-In a shock move, TNA has fired Dixie Carter.

 

-Impact recived a 0.83 rating on Spike.

 

-WWE star Kane suffered an injury at a house show last night. His injury is a frozen frown. He will be out of action for 20 days.

 

-Bruce Hart is now the head booker of CHIKARA wrestling.

 

-Tonights episode of WWE RAW featured Edge and John Cena in the main event. The WWE champion John Cena, was not victorious. The show received an A rating.

Impact Preview for Week 2 of January 2006:

 

-This is the final episode of Impact before Final Resolution, what will Jeff Jarrett and Rhino do to gain the upper-hand leading to their showdown?

 

-The X-Division will be featured once again, with two matches. The first match will be Chris Sabin vs. Eric Young. We will then see Samoa Joe take on Ron Killings!

 

-Christian Cage will be in action, as he takes on "The Wildcat" Chris Harris.

IMPACT WEEK 2 OF JANUARY 2006:

 

We are in front of a sold out crowd of 5,500 people from the Hard Rock Arena live in Florida, welcome to Impact Wrestling!

 

Impact opens up with a video package, featuring Jeff Jarrett and Rhino, and previewing their battle this coming Sunday.

-Segment Rating: B-

 

Match 1: Chris Sabin vs. Eric Young

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Sabin defeated Eric Young in 7:02 by pinfall.

-Match Rating: C.

 

Match 2: Samoa Joe vs. Ron "The Truth" Killings (Match Of The Night)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Samoa Joe defeated Ron "The Truth" Killings in 11:45 by pinfall with a Muscle Buster.

-Match Rating: B-.

 

Match 3: Christian Cage vs. Chris Harris

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Christian Cage defeated Chris Harris in 13:12 by submission with a Texas Cloverleaf.

-I thought Christian would pull off at least a B- in this match. Match Rating: C+

 

After a match, Brother Devon and Brother Ray set up a Table in the ring and 3D Chris Harris through it! They then grab the tag team title belt, and yell "See you Sunday!"

-Team 3D vs. Americas Most Wanted will take place this Sunday at Final Resolution, for the Tag Team Titles. Segment Rating: B-

 

Match 4: Aj Styles and Rhino vs. Abyss and Jeff Jarrett

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, A.J. Styles and Rhino drew with Abyss and Jeff Jarrett in 19:59 when the referee lost control and stopped the match. The match then turned into an all out brawl.

-Match Rating: C. Ouch!

 

After the match, Rhino and Jeff Jarrett have an intense brawl. Security and officials come out and eventually break them up.

-Strong closer to the show! Segment Rating: B-

We were informed of this match through TNA.com, and the world is wondering who made this challenge. Will Christian be able to defeat the unknown challenger?

Aj Styles vs. Abyss

These two were involved in a brawl on Impact, with Abyss almost throwing Aj Styles off the stage! What will happen as these two clash at Final Resolution?

 

Sting vs. Monty Brown

"The Icon" Sting takes on "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown. Will the experience factor help Sting, or will the power and drive of Monty Brown lead him to victory?

Saturday, Week 2 January 2006

 

WRESTLING NEWS ROUNDUP:

 

-It is believed that the former world champions Jeff Jarrett has signed will be making their debuts tomorrow. We have rumors on former champions being spotted in the town where Final Resolution is taking place.

 

-Jushin Thunder Lyger has became the new head trainer of the New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo.

 

-Impact received a 0.89 rating on Spike, up from last week.

 

-Jim Cornette is now the head booker of OVW.

 

-Christopher Daniels competed in his last match for ROH last night, as he signed a written contract to TNA wrestling. The main events from the show are shown below:

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rhino defeated James Storm in an Unification match in 19:40 by pinfall with a Gore.

-This match did not live up to expetations, giving me some worry about Rhinos showdown with JJ. Match rating: C+

We are LIVE on Pay Per View, welcome to Final Resolution! The crowd of 6,451 are packed here at the Sullivan Arena, and they are ready for some wrestling! Lets get the show underway!

 

Match 1: Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Samoa Joe defeated Chris Sabin in 12:29 by submission with a Coquina Clutch. Samoa Joe makes defence number 1 of his TNA X-Division title.

-Very good match to start the show, making both Joe and Sabin look good. The size advantage of Joe helped him here. Match Rating: C+

 

Match 2: Aj Styles vs. Abyss

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Abyss defeated A.J. Styles in 15:18 by pinfall with a Black Hole Slam.

-Disappointed at the quality of this match. Two of our biggest stars going one on one, could of been so much better. Match Rating: C+

 

A music video is shown to promote Jeff Jarrett. He promises he will do anything to be victorious against Rhino tonight.

-Segment Rating: B-

 

We then see a video looking at Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy will be at Impact next week!

-This Segment lifted the crowd. Segment Rating: B-

 

Match 3: Sting vs. Monty Brown

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Sting defeated Monty Brown in 16:18 by submission with a Scorpion Deathlock.

-This match was just to give both men something to do, and it showed. Match Rating: C+

 

We are then brought to the entrance way. The man who challenged Christian will be revealed. Out comes............. CHRIS JERICHO! He makes his way to the ring, and goes to give Christian a handshake. He then spits in the face of Christian, and the match is underway!

-What a POP for Jericho! Segment Rating: B+

 

Match 4: Chris Jericho vs. Christian Cage

In a superb bout that had great wrestling and a sizzling crowd, Chris Jericho defeated Christian Cage in 19:38 by pinfall with a Codebreaker.

-This was one of the best matches I have seen in a while. Chris Jericho has debuted for TNA tonight, and the match lifted the crowd. Match Rating: B

 

 

Match 5: Americas Most Wanted vs. Team 3D

This is a tables match, for the NWA Tag Team Championships!

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, America's Most Wanted defeated Team 3D in a Tag Team Tables match in 15:36; James Storm was eliminated first, then Brother Devon, and finally Brother Ray. America's Most Wanted make defence number 1 of their NWA World Tag Team titles.

-America`s Most Wanted showed the world here they are one of the top teams, after defeating Team 3D in their own match. Match Rating: B-

 

After their hard fought victory, Americas Most Wanted celebrate in the ring!

-Segment Rating: C

 

A video plays hyping our main event of the night, Jeff Jarrett vs. Rhino.

-Segment Rating: B-

 

Match 6: Jeff Jarrett vs. Rhino (Main Event, Match Of The Night)

This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Title!

In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Jeff Jarrett defeated Rhino in 25:13 by pinfall with a Stroke following interference from Brock Lesnar. Jeff Jarrett makes defence number 1 of his NWA World Heavyweight title.

-Brock Lesnar has returned to wrestling, helping Jeff Jarrett win tonight! The crowd seemed to love the match and the return, helping it be a very strong main event. Match Rating: B

 

After the match, Brock Lesnar picks up Rhino, and drives him down with the F5! He then shakes hands with Jeff Jarrett!

-What a good ending! Segment Rating: B

TNA NEWS AND RUMORS:

 

-The feeling backstage at Final Resolution is that TNA put on one of their best shows, and everyone was in good spirits. The company is looking forward, and deciding main events for Against All Odds.

 

-Final Resolution got a buyrate of 0.51.

 

-There are talks of having a Chris Sabin vs. Chris Jericho match sometime in the future.

Impact Preview for Week 3 of January 2006:

 

-One night ago, Jeff Jarrett shocked the world with the debut of Brock Lesnar. Brock will be in action tonight, against Jeff Hardy!

 

-Chris Jericho will take on "The Fallen Angel" Christoper Daniels. It will be two experenced wrestlers, looking to gain momentum for Against All Odds.

 

-The James Gang will take on America`s Most Wanted in a non title match.

IMPACT WEEK 3 OF JANUARY:

 

The show opens with Chris Jericho coming down to the ring. He takes a microphone and starts talking to the crowd. Chris Jericho says he is the best thing to happen to TNA, and is miles ahead anybody who came before him. The music of Christopher Daniels hits, and he comes down to the ring. Daniels says Jericho doesn`t belong in TNA, and will give him a welcoming tonight, when he kicks his ass!

-Jericho is one of the best on the mic, this was a great way to start the show. Segment Rating: B+

We are then shown a video to promote Jeff Jarrett and Lesnar, and their actions from last night at Final Resolution.

-Segment Rating: B+

 

Match 1: Ron Killings vs. Monty Brown

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Monty Brown defeated Ron "The Truth" Killings in 12:03 after he hit the Pounce.

-Match Rating: C+

 

Match 2: America`s Most Wanted vs. The James Gang

In a bout that had great heat and good action, America's Most Wanted defeated The James Gang in 12:26 when Chris Harris defeated Kip James by pinfall with a Catatonic.

-Both teams put on a great match, and the crowd loves AMW. Match Rating: B-

 

Match 3: Chris Jericho vs. Christoper Daniels

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Chris Jericho defeated Christopher Daniels in 14:17 by pinfall with a Codebreaker.

-Not as good as Jericho/Christian, but still a quality contest. Match Rating: B-

 

Match 4: Brock Lesnar vs. Jeff Hardy (Main Event, Match Of The Night)

In a match that had a fantastic crowd and great wrestling action, Brock Lesnar defeated Jeff Hardy in 20:23 by pinfall with a F-5.

-Best Main Event in Impact history! These two guys delivered in a PPV quality match. Match Rating: B

 

 

After the match, Brock Lesnar picks up Jeff Hardy onto his shoulders, and is ready to deliver another F5! The music of Rhino hits, and Lesnar watches the entrance way. Rhino runs in through the crowd, and hits a Gore on an unsuspecting Brock Lesnar!

-Rhino vs. Brock should be a great showdown! Segment Rating: B+

Sunday, Week 3, 2006

 

WRESTLING NEWS ROUNDUP:

 

-PWU Tag Team champion Jay Briscoe was involved in an incident with police earlier this week, as he was stopped for speeding. It is unknown whether he has been arrested.

 

-The Miz has claimed the vacated OVW Heavyweight title after defeating Chris Cage for it.

 

-Impact got a 1.59 rating on Spike, a huge jump from the previous shows rating of 0.89.

 

-There are many people that believe Chris Sabin will be a big star.

 

-Homicide defeated Jimmy Jacobs for the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight title at No Retreat, No Surrender 2006. The attendance for the show was 1,200. The show received a C rating overall.

Impact Preview for Week 4 of January 2006:

 

-We are two weeks away from Against All Odds, and the challenger for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship will be decided as Christian Cage, Sting, Jeff Hardy, and Christopher Daniels battle for a shot at the title.

 

-The James Gang will be back in action, and have a huge challenge for them. They will take on the team of Jeff Jarrett and Brock Lesnar.

 

-Chris Jericho says he has a challenge to make, tune into Impact to see what it is!
