Monday Night RAW! Week #3 June.

Leaders of the Old School speak!

Bob Backlund, Jake Roberts, Big Ron Studd, and Mr. Fuji are in the ring as RAW begins. Bob and Jake each have a mic in hand and Bob has a huge grin on his face. Mr. Fuji and Ron Studd taunt the crowd as Bob prepares to speak.

Bob Backlund: Have you begun to stop doubting? Have you begun to see the errors of your ways? What you see gathered in this ring are the Leaders of the Old School and we are here to bring honor and respect back to the WWF. Freaks like The Undertaker have no place in a wrestling ring and my good friend Jake helped me to prove it last week! This week, I face off against the one and only Roddy Piper. Now Roddy, I have nothing but respect for you, but I will not let me respect for you keep me from stretching you from post to post! The Leaders of the Old School stand for one thing...Nostalgic Wrestlers Only!

Jake Roberts: I couldn't have said it better myself Bob. Undertaker...it has been over four years since our match at Wrestlemania 8. Ever since you laid me out people have asked me when am I going to exact my revenge...well, last week was just the foreplay to our future intimacy. Tonight, I give you the full Jake Roberts experience. An experience you will never be able to forget...trust me.

A video replay of Owen Hart's speech from Superstars!

A video replay of Owen's speech from Superstars is played. The announcers comment that Owen will be faceing former tag partner and Camp Cornette member Davey Boy Smith tonight in a King of the Ring opening round match.

King of the Ring Opening Round

Jerry Lawler VS Kokina

Jerry Lawler comes to the ring with the Royal Guard in tow. Lawler receives a smattering of boos that he dismisses. Kokina comes out next to a small pop and the announcers note that Phatu is still nursing his injuries from last week. Lawler uses his experience to work the big man over. Kokina uses his size to his advantage, but whenever he gets things going the Royal Guard distracts him. Things end when Lawler chop blocks Kokina off his feet and makes a pin. As Kokina lay there Sir Ahmed and Baron Helmsley hold his legs down.

Jerry Lawler wins by pin fall!

Mankind is looking for The Undertaker!

We see Mankind wandering the backstage are looking for The Undertaker. Mankind is shouting The Undertaker's name and getting in the face of random backstage staff. Mankind finds a caterers table and destroys it. Food and drinks are flung about as staff look at the crazed Mankind.

King of the Ring Opening Round

Davey Boy Smith w/Jim Cornette VS Owen Hart

Owen comes out to a huge cheer as the crowd just loves him. Owen seems taken aback by this and doesn't know how to react. Davey Boy Smith comes out next and his face shows some reluctance. Cornette is in rare form as he shouts at the crowd. The match is classic back and forth with each man giving it their all. Davey and Owen trade reversals and counter, each man knowing the other so well. The finish comes when Owen has Davey locked in a Sharpshooter. Cornette hops on the ring apron as Davey slaps the mat. Owen looks back and Davey and releases the hold not wanting to hurt his brother in law as the ref is distracted by Cornette. Owen gets in Cornettes face and the ref is now trying to seperate the two. Vader runs into the ring and is about to attack Owen when Davey puts a stop to it. Vader and Davey shove one another behind Owen's back until Vader slams Davey on the mat. Vader slides out of the ring and Owen makes the pin, unaware of what went on.

Owen Hart wins by pin fall!

After the match Jim Cornette and Vader try to help Davey Boy Smith up, but he pushes them away. Davey gets in Jim's face demanding Jim choose him or Vader. Cornette looks at Davey then at Vader before he extends his hand to Davey. When Davey takes it Vader attacks. Cornette puts the boots to Davey as Vader slugs him in the face. Owen rus back out wielding a chair and the ring is cleared, the damage already done.

Million Dolar Championship Match

The Ringmaster VS Kama

The Ringmaster and Kama are slugging it out when we come back from commercial break. Kama slams The Ringmaster into the corner and starts to work him over. Kama unloads hard forearm blows before hip tossing The Ringmaster out of the corner. Kama locks The Ringmaster in a submission hold but The Ringmaster fights his way out. The Ringmaster and Kama continue to fight as Syxx comes down to the ring. Syxx watches the match closely, ready to interfere if he needs to. The Ringmaster finishes Kama off with an Ace Crusher before making the pin.

The Ringmaster wins by pin fall.

Kama rolls out of the ring and heads to the back as Syxx grabs the Million Dollar Championship and hands it over to The Ringmaster. The Ringmaster looks upset and starts to get in Syxx's face when Ted DiBiase comes to the ring. He grabs a mic and heads to the ring.

Ted DiBiase: I think you're forgetting who you work for. My money paid for that title and MY money keeps you employed in the WWF. If it wasn't for me you would still be working down in Atlanta kissing the backside of a leather jacket wearing hundred pound wanna be tough guy. The bottom line is you have a choice, you can work for me or I can take that title back and send you to the unemployment line where you belong.

The Ringmaster hangs his head and asks for the mic.

The Ringmaster: You're right.

Ted DiBiase: Say it again, I'm not sure everyone heard you...

The Ringmaster: You're right Ted. If it wasn't for you I probably would never have been given an opportunity here in the WWF, but I took that opportunity and nailed it out of the park! My skills in this ring have earned me a place in the WWF and all your money won't be able to anything about it. Now I am the Million Dollar Champion whether you like it or not and unless you pry this belt from my cold dead hands you'll never get your hands on it again! And that's the BOTTOM LINE CAUSE STEVE AUSTIN SAID SO!!!

Steve Austin then kicks Ted Dibiase in the stomach before delivering an Ace Crusher. Syxx is shocked at what happened and before he can react he receives an Ace Crusher as well!

Mankind and The Undertaker brawl!

We go to the backstage area where we catch The Undertaker and Mankind brawling. WWF staff and security try to separate the two but they continue to fight. As they fight the lights flicker on and off. Mankind and The Undertaker fight past an electric box that shoots sparks. They continue to brawl all the way to the ramp area. They struggle with one another until The Undertaker tosses Mankind off the ramp!

King of the Ring Opening Round

Avatar VS Eddy Guerrero

When Raw returns Avatar is already in the ring. Eddy and the HCP come to the ring from out of the crowd. Eddy and Avatar fight back and forth until Eddy takes the advantage. Eddy starts to dominate Avatar and finishs him off with a Frog Splash!

Eddy Guerrero wins by pin fall!

After the match the HCP slides into the ring and starts to put the boots to him. This continues for a few minutes until security comes in and chases them off. The announcers are shocked and wonder when the HCP will be banned from ringside.

King of the Ring Opening Round

Dustin Rhodes w/Marlena VS Savio Vega

Dustin Rhodes comes out to some cheers and cat calls at Marlena. Savio comes out to a huge pop and the announcers wonder if the HCP will return. The match is classic back and forth wrestling with neither man getting the upperhand. Dustin whips Savio into the ropes where he collides with Marlena who was going to interfere. Dustin looks at the fallen Marlena before turning right into a Caribbean Kick!

Savio Vega wins by pin fall!

Roddy Piper hype video!

A video hypeing Roddy Piper up. Highlights include his win over Goldust, his win over Vader, and clips of his movie appearences!

Western Justice w/Sunny VS The Godwinns w/Hillbilly Jim

Western Justice come out to a mix of cheers and boos. Sunny is not shy about showing off her “assets” and Western Justice is not bothere in the least. The Godwinns come out to some cheers and Hillbilly Jim waves and smiles like an idiot. The match is one sided in the favor of Western Justice and it is over before the fans can get too bored. The finish involved Sunny distracting Henry while Tatanka pinned Phineas.

Western Justice wins by pin fal!

Jake Roberts VS The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer

Jake Roberts comes out alone, much to the announcers shock. The Undertaker comes out with Paul Bearer, but unlike his normal entrance this one is plain and not eerie at all. The match is back and forth, with neither man getting a clear advantage. This continues until Jake hurts his knee and the ref seperates the two. As the ref checks on Jake, Big Ron Studd sprints out to the ring. Studd slides into the ring and lands a Studd Breaker on The Undertaker. The ref turns to catch Ron Studd getting up of the Undertaker and calls for the bell.

The Undertaker wins by DQ!

After the match Big Ron Studd continues his assault. He lands a second Studd Breaker on The Undertaker before walking off. The announcers comment on the fact that prior to his urn being destroyed this would have never seemed possible.

Bob Backlund w/Mr. Fuji VS Roddy Piper

Bob comes out to huge boos as it seems no one in the arena likes him. Roddy Piper comes out to deafening cheers and he seems rather pleased. The match is a technical masterpiece, but is lost on the ADD members of the audience. The lack of high spots or flashy moves is soon forgotten as the psychology of the match takes over. The finish comes as Roddy puts Bob in a sleeper hold. Bob holds on despite being in the hold for several minutes. Finally it seems Bob will pass out, but the bell rings before Bob he does.

The Match is a Time Limit Draw!

WWF Superstars! Week #3 June.

Sunny shoots T-shirts!

Sunny comes out and fires T-Shirts into the crowd.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Masked Fury took on Men on a Mission. It was an aweful match that the crowd hated completely. It ended in 7:59 when Avatar defeated Mo by pinfall with a Crane Kick.

Masked Fury wins by pin fall!

Vader hype video!

A video hyping up Vaders WWF reign of terror is shown. Highlights include his WWF Title win and some Japanese match footage.

Jesse James VS Jeff Hardy

In an another awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Jesse James took on Jeff Hardy. The match was all over the place and had little rhyme or reason to it. Mercifully it ended in 8:09 by pinfall with a Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Jesse James wins by pin fall!

Xtreme Dominance w/Paul Ellering VS The Godwinns w/Hillbilly Jim

Both teams were in the ring when the show came back on the air. The match had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat. Xtreme Dominance defeated Godwinns in 5:32 when Mike Awesome defeated Henry O. Godwinn by pinfall with an Awesome Bomb.

Xtreme Dominance wins by pin fall!

Big Ron Studd V attacks!

A match between Adam Pearce and Steve Blackman is about to begin when Big Ron Studd attacks both men! Big Ron Studd lays both men out before walking off. The announcers wonder why he showed up...

Syxx VS Bob Holy

Syxx and Bob were ready to fight as soon as Superstars came back on air. The match had solid in-ring action but ittle in the way of heat. Syxx defeated Bob Holly in 12:54 by pinfall when he landed a Jumping Face Buster!

Syxx wins by pin fall!

Bob Backlund vs Roddy Piper video recap!

The match between Roddy Piper and Bob Backlund from RAW is replayed in it's entirty.

The Brawl Bros. Debut their new look of jeans and t-shirts tonight. They get little response from the indifferent crowd. The Smokin Gunns get a better response when they come out. The match had solid in-ring action and a little heat. It was a very brawl heavy bout and would be better appreciated down south. The Smokin' Gunns defeated the Brawl Bros. in 7:51 when Bart Gunn defeated Tom Prichard by submission.

The Smokin Gunns win by submission!

The HCP jump Savio Vega !

As RAW comes on the air we see Savio Vega arriving to the arena. Moments before he enters the building he is attacked by the HCP. Eddy Guerrero directs traffic as Loco, Little Puppet, Smiley, and Sleepy put the boots to Savio. Eventually eddy directs the HCP to lift Savio up and they do as he says before tossing him onto the windshield of a nearby car! The announcers are livid, with both Shane McMahon and Jim Ross calling for The HCP to be fired. Micheal Hayes remarks how they remind him of the Freebirds, except a lot smaller. Jim Ross composes himself enough to introduce RAW and wonder just what condition Savio will be in for his match against Eddy at the PPV.

Tom Pritchard VS Owen Hart

Tom Pritchard comes out with Chris Candido and makes his way to the ring amid boos. Owen Hart comes out to a thunderous applause and he seems genuinely pleased by it. The match itself very technical with a lot of quick reversals and counters.Owen is on the ropes several times, but he eventually recovers to take the victory with a Sharpshooter.

Owen Hart wins by submission!

Roddy Piper speaks out!

Roddy Piper walks out to the ring to thunderous appluase. The crowd is going wild chanting his name which brings a grin from ear to ear on his face. Piper plays to the crowd for a moment before he speaks.

Roddy Piper: It seems like I do a lot more talking than I do wrestling around here! {small pop.} Well, at the King of the Ring all my talking will be over and Vader will know that I can wrestle better than I can speak. And I can speak pretty well, if I do say so myself. Speaking of Vader, I have to let you all know that he is in some very elite company. You see Vader, just like that bleach blonde baulding fake tn enthuisaist hobbling around a ring in Atlanta...you have never beat me! We wrestled twice already and neither time could you get the job done. At the King of the Ring I'm going for the trifecta and I'll be taking that WWF Championship as my prize! {big pop from the crowd.}

Now then, next item of business. Bob Backlund, who would have guesses a fossil like you could last in the ring with the Hot Rod!? I'm not one to admit when he's wrong very often, but in this case I do it gladly. Bob, you're a hell of a wrestler. A little too “howdy doody” for my taste, but a great wrestler. Now I know you have been gathering some allies into your little dinosaur club, but I'm telling you on natinal television what I keep telling you over the phone...I'm not the joining type! As flattered as I am to be asked to play second bannana alongside Jake “the fake”...I mean “snake” Roberts, damn Fruedian slip. As much as I would love to be Abbot to Jake's Costell I would rather be the first Intercontinetal and World Champion in WWF history! {another big pop!}

Yeah that's right. Unlike a certain Warrior, I'm man enough to defend both titles in a single night. Hell, I could wrestle twice a night seven days a week and still put on one hell of a show each time I step throughthe ropes! I'm that good! I may not be the most colorful athlete to grace the WWF...brotha, but I am the man who made it what it was and what it still is! Does anyone think people bought Wrestlemania to see a leg drop and fake gold chains? They bought it to see me! This Sunday I do what others have kept me from doing since I first came to the WWF, I become WWF Champion! Now before I go I got one last issue to address. Owen, thank you cousin. I know it wasn't easy to help me, but doing the right thing never is. If you ever need a hand, just call up your cousin Hot Rod!

Mankind VS Marc Mero w/Sable

Marc comes out first and he looks a little upset. He drags Sable by the arm down to the ring and tells her to stay put. Mankind comes out next and as he does the lights flicker a bit. Mankind looks around nervously as he enters the ring. Marc attacks him as soon as the bell rings and takes an early advantage. Mankind battles his way back and turns the tables on Mero. After about a minute of battling back and forth Mankind lands a Double Arm DDT that turns the match completely around. Mankind dominantes for a few minutes before ending it with a Manible Claw for the win.

Mankind wins by submission!

The Undertaker is walking around the back area.

We see The Undertaker walking around backstage looking inside rooms. He seems to be looking for someone or something. The backstage workers stay far away from The Undertaker and we eventually hear him call out for Paul Bearer.

Dirty Deal?

One of the rooms The Undertaker opens up has Bob Backlund and Dustin Rhodes behind it. They looked rather friendly until they realized the door was open. Bob rushs to close the door and the announcers are wondering if Dustin is goin to be joining the Leaders of the Old School.

King of the Ring Opening Round Match

Jake Roberts VS Marty Janetty

Jake came out to a lot of boos and chants of “Judas.” Jake didn't seem to care as he went to the ring with hate in his eyes. Marty Jannetty came out to a nice pop, as the fans were clearly behind the former Rocker. Jake tried to keep the match slow and methodical, but Marty kept the pace moving fast. The finish came when Marty tried a high risk move and crashed and burned. Jake capitalised on this mistake and finished Marty off with a DDT!

Jake wins by pin fall!

erry Lawler hypes The Royal Guard

We see Jerry Lawler sitting on a throne, which is between The Royal Guard. Lawler is holding his scepter and looking rather full of himself.

Jerry Lawler: It is now official, I am in the King of the Ring tournament. No longer will people refer to me as the King of Memphis, no. I shall soon be known as The King of the Ring! Three wins, nine seconds, is all that seperates me from my rightful place atop the wrestling world. And as you can see, I have two very big contingency plans, just in case I'm having an off night!

King of the Ring Opening Round Match

Syxx w/Ted DiBiase VS Steve Austin

Steve gets cheered as he enters the arena, but it is cut short when Syxx attacks him on the entrance ramp. They fight their way to the ring and the bell is rung. Syxx uses his speed to keep Austin off his game, but the power aqnd skill of Austin is too much for Syxx to contain. Austin takes the advantage and would hold on to it for the remainder of the match. Syxx was only able to get in some offense whenever Ted distracted Steve. The match ended when Austin hit Syxx with an Ace Crusher the announcers now call The Stunner.

Davey Boy Smith appears on the Love Shack!

Brother Love is standing in front of his Love Shack set once again and he looks like he just ate a whole flock of canarys.

Brother Love: Welcom ladies and gentlemen to another edition of The Love Shack. I am your esteemed host Brother Love and tonight we have a special treat. The man who is going to be coming out in just a moment is a former member of the now two man group known as Camp Cornette. Ladies and gentlemen allow me the pleasure to introduce to you, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith!

Davey comes out to a huge pop and he seems very happy to get it.

Brother Love: Welcome Davey. It is so nice to have you on The Love Shack.

Davey Boy Smith: Thank you Brother Love. I'm just glad I'll have an opportunity to tell me side of the story.

Brother Love: When then Davey let us get right to it. Why did you turn your back on Jim Cornette and The Man called Vader? Weren't yoy happy as a member of Camp Cornette?

Davey Boy Smith: I was very happy Brother Love. Jim Cornette was very open with his wrestling knowledge. I knew I had someone who was watching my back. It was a good working relationship, until Owen left the group and Jim wanted us to teach him a lesson. Anyone else and I would have dropped them like a bad habit, but Owen is family and like he said...

Before Davey can finish up he is attackd from behind by Vader! Vader continues the assault as Jim Cornette appears from behind the set. Cornette directs traffic before grabbing the mic and saying a few words.

Jim Cornette: How does it feel Davey? Does it hurt? Because it hurt when you turned your back on us and laid your filthy English hands on us. Now, I talked to President Monsoon and if you can make it to the ring tonight, you have a match with this man...Big Van Vader!

We come back from commercial and see Big Ron Studd beating on Phatu in the corner. Phatu fights his way out of the corner and begins to take contro of the match. As he is about to land a huge headbutt he stops as he sees The Royal Guard making their way to the ring. Phatu motions for them to come to the ring, but they stop and watch Big Ron Studd lift Phatu up and slam him down with a Studd Breaker.

Smokin Gunns cut a promo!

We see Billy and Bart Gunn walk out to the ring to a small cheer. They look happy to be on RAW and the fans seem happy to have them there.

Billy Gunn: Well, I reckon this has got to be the sexiest damn crowd I have ever seen Bart.

Bart Gunn: Now Billy, the fans appreciate that, but I'm sure the TV folks don't want you ta be sayin things like that.

Billy Gunn: You're right baby brother. I'm just so pumped to be out here and share with these folks the news we just received. Can I tell em Bart? Can I?

Bart Gunn: Sure Billy, you can tell em.

Billy Gunn: Folks, in just six short days the men standing in this ring will be Tag Team Champions of the World! You see, we got ourselves a match with those fakes Western Justice.

Bart Gunn: Now Billy, I told you a hundred times Tatanka aint no fake. He is a real life injun. In fact, I believe he is Cherokee...no wait...maybe he's Navajo?

Billy Gunn: Yeah, well I don't care Bart because we both know that we are in fact part Native American ourselves. You see, me and Bart here are members of the Slap-a-hoe tribe. And Sunny, if you get involved in our match at The King of the Ring, you'll find out first hand how we got that tribal name!

Bart Gunn: Billy...didn't I tell you not to tell that joke. The TV folk are gonna be plumb mad at us I reckon. Look folks, we will be the champions after we beat Western Justice and on the next night on RAW we are inviting all of you to a good old fashion square dance!

Billy Gunn: See you there folks!

Paul Bearer is attacked!

When we come back from commercial we see a door cracked a bit in the back area. Through the crack we can see Paul Bearer and he appears to be talking to someone. After a few moments we see a gloved hand grab Paul by the throat and lift him off the ground. Paul's legs are kicking like crazy as the door closes and we hear a loud thump! The announcers speculate that Paul was slammed or tossed onto the hard concrete.

Vader and Cornette comes out to loud boos. The crowd is all over these two and they seem to enjoy the hate. Davey Boy Smith's music hits the PA system and the crowd pops, however no one walks out. Vader and Cornette are laughing and the music plays again, but still no one comes out. After the third time the music is played Davey comes out very slowly. Davey is holding his ribs and several staff are trying to get him to go back to the trainer's room. Davey makes it to the ring and Vader lays into him. The match is very one sided with Vader dominating the hurt Davey Boy Smith. Vader finishes Davey off with a Vader Bomb.

Vader wins by pin fall!

After the match Vader places Davey in position for a second Vader Bomb, but Owen and Piper come out and the crowd goes wild. Owen runs after Cornette as Piper slides into the ring and low blows Vader. Vader falls off the ropes and Piper hits him with closed fist to the face. Refs and security flood the ring and RAW goes off the air with Owen chasing Cornette into the back.
