Been playing yet another WEFF game, this time with your mod, but it seems to me the women debut too early. There's just too little promotions to make them be used by either the player or the AI. They'll just rot away on the sidelines, all the while gaining a lot of skill points so they might dominate as soon as they enter the frey. I'd advice setting them all back a couple of years. Untill 2003, there is no reason to have new women as there are plenty of young fighters in the db already. I'll see which of my renders I can couple to some characters (you're obviously free to do this yourself) so it might colour up the database. I'll start by assigning them to the 'best' regens.

The men are a different matter of course, as there seems to be never enough if I play my GAMMA games where you basically have a roster of around 200 people if not more. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

update: every day the in-game webpage is overflown with lifeless pictures of fighters signing, while some of the cooler 'normal' characters are gathering dust on the sidelines. I just don't see the need for instant new characters, unless they are somehow canon-related or have some backstory. I'll change it in my next game as it might be a personal thing, but I presume most people share this view on the matter.

Also: AI companies will use the faceless fighters in main events from '99 onward because of their high reputation stat. I'm personally not a fan of making that stat more then 20%. I think it's interpretet wrongly by many people. It's actually his reputation in the MMA industry, not the fighting industry in general. They can be used by the player to 'farm' rep, but apart from that they are not very helpful to improve games unless they actually have a face and some personality.

Thanks for finding that, solves all the picture problems I had.

Just so you know, I tried the program out, and I think this one might actually be better. Not sure what the limits of the trial version are, but it found 7 duplicates in my own picture folder where the other one I linked found none.

I think the first one just looks for cases where the exact same file has two different names, and this one is able to find the duplicates that have different file sizes due to compression. I could be wrong, though.
