NWA:Clash of the Champions

Recommended Posts

Dusty Rhodes called me up. Told me he was burned out and need someone he could trust to take the book. So here I am back in the saddle again. It's been five years since I left the business. Now I am sitting here in Charlotte looking at the financial figures my God these guys have gone insane. Their losing money as fast as they can make it.

So I am here to clean up after Dusty and help save the company that I helped build five years ago.

I was shocked with that rating. I think it was all about the Midnight Express. Road Warriors and Sheepherders 86 rating surprised the hell out of me too. WCW got some talent, but WWF is far superior in this game. Considering you got some talent blocked or locked up in the AWA. If I rigged it wouldn't be fair. So I am going to bring in some talent to change the landscape of the NWA.

<strong><em>Big news coming out of the WWF today after four years Hulk Hogan has finally been defeated for the WWF Title by no other than Butch Reed. Yes fans Butch Reed is the New WWF World Champion. This title change is sending shock waves through all of Professional Wrestling. I sure didn't see that coming.</em></strong></p>

In tests I run, Hogan is always dropping the title to either Butch Reed, One Man Gang or Ted DiBiase. At least it's nothing crazy like Dino Bravo! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I wonder if inputting a number of title defenses has anything to do with it, or if it's just dependent on what the Destiny Roll throws out. I input number of successful defenses so that the game wouldn't start out with a million stories of "Wrestler A hopes to do better than Wrestler B, who lost the title on the first defense" when said champion had been champion for several months(or in Hogan's case, years).
