As much as I do like the pairing of Larry with the Horsemen, I also can't really buy him being one of them... this is definitely one case where I'd stick to the formula, and Windham joins the group.

Well to be honest Larry was just teaming with them for that match. I don't see him as Four Horsemen. It was a way to get in a match and do little build up for his match with Sting at SuperBrawl.

Saturday February Week 3, 1988

Tony Schiavone: Fans welcome to World Championship Wrestling tonight we have Kevin Sullivan in action. Sting and Lex Luger going against Larry Zbyszko and Tom Prichard.

Jim Ross: Plus the Four Horsemen will be here. Hold on minute the fans here in San Antonio going nuts. Tony that's...

Tony Schiavone: It's the Von Erich Brothers!!!

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_KerryVonErich_zps2ad79c7b.jpghttp://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_KevinVonErich_zps3cadb5b6.jpg

Kerry Von Erich: How you Tony and Jim? It's been loooooooong time. Since the Von Erich boys has step foot in the NWA. Four years ago we left this promotion. Right after David died. I won the NWA World Title. I lost it to Ric Flair. In 1986 Jim Crockett Jr. the President of the NWA said that title the most prestigious belt in all professional wrestling was never going to be defended in World Class Championship Wrestling ring. So my father Fritz Von Erich pulled out of the NWA and we became it stars.

Kevin Von Erich: It's 1988 and The last time Flair you defended that title against one of us was two years ago. When I nearly came hair's breath in taking that title. Well Ric you got nowhere to hide we our here in the NWA and we ain't leaving any time soon.

Kerry Von Erich: Whole a lot of people have been wanting see a match between the Von Erich boys and the Four Horsemen. Well why not tonight have Six man match the Horsemen versus me and my brother Kevin and Barry Windham? Are the Four Horsemen to chicken to step in the ring with three the finest wrestlers to come out of Texas? Rating C+

Jim Ross: Will the Horsemen agree to face the Von Erich Brothers and Barry Windham tonight here live on the Superstation?

Tony Schiavone: Fans don't go away our first match is coming up Kevin Sullivan taking on the youngster Scott Levy.

Kevin Sullivan vs Scott Levy

In an extremely short match, Kevin Sullivan defeated Scott Levy in 5:06 by pinfall with a Tree of Woe. Rating C+

Lex Luger: Tomorrow night SuperBrawl. This is where the cream of the crop come to compete. You guys like Barry Windham, Sting, myself, Dusty Rhodes, and now the Von Erich Brothers. We all have one thing in common we all want to be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Ric Flair your marked man. Tomorrow night all these fans of the NWA is going to see myself and Barry Windham defeat Arn and Tully for NWA World Tag Team Titles. Sting is going to show Larry what is to get with in the ring with the one and only Stinger.

Sting: HOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWL!!!! Larry Zbyszko tomorrow night I am lock in the Scorpion Deathlock and all your going be able to do is submit. Tonight me and Lex get you in the ring one time and were going to lay you defeated in that ring. Rating C

The Nasty Boys vs Lightning Express

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, The Nasty Boys defeated The Lightning Express in 6:40 when Brian Knobbs defeated Brad Armstrong by submission. Rating C

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_RickyMorton_zps1bb6046e.jpghttp://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_RobertGibson_zps16060bd3.jpg

Ricky Morton: Don't blink to many times. We our real and we are back in the NWA. Midnight Express I heard you guys last week saying you got nobody to compete against at SuperBrawl. Ricky and Robert got to big grins on their faces. Guess what the Rock & Roll Express and the Midnight Express are going to meet at SuperBrawl for the United States Tag Team titles.

Robert Gibson: We going shake you, we going to rattle you, and roll you up 1...2.. and 3 come Sunday night. C-

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_RicFlair2_zpsf9dd6c64.jpghttp://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_TullyBlanchard2_zps46def52d.jpghttp://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_ArnAnderson3_zpsb2e44021.jpg

Ric Flair: Dusty Rhodes our paths have been intertwined ever since the 1970's when we battled over the United States Championship and since 1981NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Seven times I have held this title while you have held three times. Come tomorrow night they will not be a fourth title reign in your future. Enough of that Kerry and Kevin you come out here on our show and challenge the Four Horsemen well tonight is your lucky night, because the Horsemen are ready to run all over you.

Tully Blanchard: Barry Windham you need to look around and see who is hiding behindyou and holding you back. Just like he has done to Nikita Koloff the man you call the American Dream has betrayed you and Lex Luger will betray you and leave you hanging.

Arn Anderson: When raise our hands and hold up the four fingers it is a sign. A sign of excellence of striving and being the best in this business. Only a few select men can be Horsemen, some look like they can run with the big boys but in the end they just are failures. All four men hold up the four fingers. The sign of the Four Horsemen. B

Tony Schiavone: So our main event is set the Horsemen will take on The Von Erichs and Barry Windham.

Jim Ross: That will sure be a slobberknocker Tony.Up next we got the Rock and Roll Express versus The Powers of Pain.

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a627/john_handley1/Jim%20Crockett%20Promotions/th_DustyRhodes_zpsd173cf2f.jpg

Dusty Rhodes: In twenty four hours Ric Flair and the American Dream are going to war one more time. This will be the main event in one of biggest nights in my career. Will I become the four time World Champion or will I fail. Nature Boy Sunday night and I am going to put it all on the line. I am the son of plumber. An boy just like so many others in this world who had nothing. I have scraped fought my way to the top of this profession. Jim Cornette: Last time I checked we ran The Rock "n" Roll Express out of the NWA. Well like I always said Ricky and Robert you love getting your tails whipped by the Midnight Express. Fantastics we ran you all of the NWA now you guys returned. Well let me make one thing clear it's going to be cold day in hell before either you two teams take the belts from the Midnight Express. Horsemen rule!</p><p>

<strong>STING</strong> VS LARRY ZBYSZKO</p><p>

<strong>NIKITA KOLOFF</strong> VS RON GARVIN</p><p>

lot of hate for Garvin from peope who only knew him as Hands of Stone and his ill-advised title win over Flair. BUT back in the day, he was quite a force in Knoxville. He was a great heel (He took on Roy Welch and his mystery partner Andre the Giant single-handedly and beat them both in a handicap match! much more believable than him beating Flair in the twilight of his career). Thus said, Nikita still wins</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>THE ROAD WARRIORS</strong> VS SHEEPHERDERS</p><p>

<strong>STEVE WILLIAMS & RON SIMMONS</strong> VS MIKE ROTUNDO & RICK STEINER</p><p>

<strong>KEVIN SULLIVAN</strong> VS JIMMY GARVIN</p><p>

Von Erichs?? That could be built into a fun feud</p>

SUPERBRAWL MATCH CARD:

DUSTY RHODES VS RIC FLAIR

RIC FLAIR

I see him retaining by the skin of his teeth.

BARRY WINDHAM & LEX LUGER VS ARN & TULLY

ARN & TULLY

If Barry Windham's last turn wasn't recent, I see him turning on Luger here.

STING VS LARRY ZBYSZKO

STING

Gotta keep Sting strong to build him up to face the World Champion.

NIKITA KOLOFF VS RON GARVIN

NIKITA KOLOFF

I think Ron Garvin's best days are behind him. Time to build the up and coming talent such as Nikita Koloff.

THE ROAD WARRIORS VS SHEEPHERDERS

DRAW

I can see this one breaking down into an all out brawl to cause a double disqualification and keep the feud going.

STEVE WILLIAMS & RON SIMMONS VS MIKE ROTUNDO & RICK STEINER

MIKE ROTUNDO & RICK STEINER

Rotundo and Steiner seem to be more like a team, whereas Williams and Simmons look to be thrown together.

KEVIN SULLIVAN VS JIMMY GARVIN

KEVIN SULLIVAN

A heel victory to start the feud off and keep it going.

THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS VS ????

For the mystery team, I'm going with the Rockers. The Von Erichs have already appeared in the dynasty, so that rules them out. As to who'll win...

MIDNIGHT EXPRESS

Cornette interferes to ignite a fresh tag team feud.

Question on the mystery team: When you posted the predictions the R&R express had not yet appeared in the dynasty. They have since appeared. If meant that it was a team that will have their first appearance at the PPV, I want to change my prediction to the fantastics with the ME winning. If you just meant a team who hadn't appeared at the time of the post,I will stay with the R&R express. Hope this makes since. Love the dynasty so far. :D

<p><strong>CNN Center March 1, 1988 end of month report.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

National Wrestling Alliance lost $310,853 in the month February. We had a good shows but we just didn't make enough money. We moved up to 5th in the world and now Second behind the WWF surpassing finally the AWA in promotions in the United States. </p><p> </p><p>

NWA has signed some young guys that we believe will help the company in the future. They are going to our developmental company Georgia Championship Wrestling to work. Steve Austin, Jerry Lynn, and Scott Steiner. </p><p> </p><p>

NWA has serious drug problem that we at the moment are trying to curb. No suspensions yet but, one wrestler in particular Scott Steiner may become a problem. </p><p> </p><p>

The war with WWF is not really heating up because at this particular time we are not on their level. Hopefully come Starrcade we our. Plus Ric Flair is now the mentor of Shane Douglas.</p>
