Welcome to a place so violent, so outlandish! From this point on we're going to be taking a magical journey through a universe so twisted, it was named 9000 times. First up let me introduce you to the core characters that will be the main focus of our journey. Characters so off the wall you'll be asking yourself, "what the hell did I just witness?" Oh sure there will be "guest" appearances from time to time, hell we may even end up welcoming some to the "family" but make no mistake, the CHIKARA-verse (if such a thing exists) revolves around these "people".

Hello my name is Gavin Loudspeaker and I'm here with todays edition of Coin Op Co-Op! We have some great news for you. No it's not that Sinbad just won the Puncher of Mountains title in A2M... nor is it that MFC have signed Jack Burton. It's that CHIKARA: Republika are about to hold CHIKARA: Under The Hood in week 3 of December! That's right folks, you heard it here first, and no doubt Jason LeMar and his cronies will report it in 2 weeks on their Zonedwrestle.com site as "Breaking News". So who will be appearing I hear you all ask. Well Mike Quackenbush I guess will be there, seeing as he's the owner and tends not to let me forget about him. Everyone's favourite Colony will be there, as will eveeryone's most hated masked nut job STIGMA. We'll also have the return of Hallowicked & Frightmare! Yes, The Spectral Envoy are back in CHIKARA. We caught up with the duo to see where they had been;</p><p> </p><p>

- Fire Ant attempts to fight back but Ophidian rolls to the outside</p><p>

- He grabs a chair from ringside!</p><p>

- The referee still standing in a trance!</p><p>

[Quackenbush's music plays as he comes out to cheers from the crowd. He gets half way down to the ring when 2 hooded figures jump the barriers and assault him! They continue the beatdown as UltraMantis Black makes his way to the ring.]</p><p> </p><p>

- He rips the hoods off to reveal The Shard & Quackenbush's former friend, Jigsaw!</p><p>

- As he realises who it is, UMB nails him from behind with a forearm</p><p>

- He rolls Quackenbush back into the ring and gets a 2 count</p><p>

- UMB begins to show his frustration and goes to the top rope...</p><p>

- ...Quackenbush knocks the ropes sending UMB crotch first into the corner</p><p>

- Quackenbush takes control of the match and gets a 2 count following a DDT</p><p>

- Quackenbush using the crowds cheers to drive him on, begins to beatdown on UMB</p><p>

- Jigsaw jumps onto the apron and is promptly knocked off to the crowds delight</p><p>

- Quackenbush locks in the CHIKARA Special! No Rudo has ever escaped this!</p><p>

- The Shard is on the apron now distracting the referee as Jigsaw enters from the other side.</p><p>

- Quackenbush breaks the hold and nails Jigsaw with a clothesline!</p><p>

- He turns his focus back but UMB hits him with Cosmic Doom!</p><p>

- 1...2...3! UMB retains!</p><p>

Welcome to another edition of the Coin-Op Co-Op. I'm your host as always, "The Director of Fun" Gavin Loudspeaker. Before I get into my run down and analysis of Under the Hood, I'd like to take this moment to say that we have partnered up with Loco Libre de Mexico this past week and will be looking at talent sharing somewhere down the line. This is great news for CHIKARA Republika as we can bring you the fans a more diverse product.

 

Now onto Under the Hood. Critics have scored the event (as they do in the 9000-verse) with a respectable grade of D which raised awareness, gaining us momentum, plus we sold all 300 tickets. I do however have a few issues with some individuals, such as Ophidian. Ophidian I am going to say this right now, if you ever hypnotise a CHIKARA official the way you did at under the Hood, you will be gone. I am not going to put up with that sort of mental abuse of our officials. Equitativo Mascara is still not completely right after your blatant mind rape! Next up, UltraMantis Black proved only one thing and that was, he cannot beat Mike Quackenbush one-on-one. It took 3 men to deny him the CHIKARA 9000 Championship so I have decided that at The Thirteenth Hat in January, Mike Quackenbush will get a rematch against UltraMantis Black in a Steel Cage match! If you think your new Order of the Neo–Solar Temple with a side helping of fries is going to run through CHIKARA without consequence then I am afraid you are sadly mistaken. And talking of The Thirteenth Hat, here are the matches for our event in 3 weeks time;

Now back to Under the Hood. We saw an extremely unsettling event happen when a young lady who we now know to be called Rayvin unleashed a near 8 foot monster on Dasher Hatfield and Hydra. She then proceeded to threaten the destruction of CHIKARA - but that wasn't what irked me, she didn't have the decency to do it in English or Spanish! If you are going to make threats, at least have the common decency to do it in one of the aggrieved's native tongue.

 

The "Coming Soon" montage is causing some intrigue behind the scenes in CHIKARA. We, like you, are speculating as to what this could be. My guess? I think it's obviously going to be the debut of Boogerman! The office... sorry Den of Fun however disagrees with me. I tried to get an interview with the guy to confirm but apparently he doesn't exist in the 9000-verse... yet. Well I leave you with an interview that I did actually get, that is with the Super Smash Brothers.

Player Uno: In 3 weeks we get to step in the ring with 2.0, former tag team champions in a number one contenders match for the Campeonatos de Parejas. Now it's no secret we've had our differences in the past, but being the positive 8 bit heroes that we are, both myself and Player Dos have come up with 5 things that we LIKE about Shane Matthews & Jagged.

- Jagged repeatedly hits Uno but nothing happens.</p><p>

- Jagged with a crossbody but just bounces off Uno!</p><p>

- Player Dos comes in and hits the pause button again</p><p>

- Jaggeds confusion is plain for all to see as he tags Matthews</p><p>

- Uno tags Dos who hits a crossbody of his own!</p><p>

- Dos and Matthews really going at each other.</p><p>

- Dos tags Uno who then takes over the assault on Matthews</p><p>

- Uno hits the Bubble Bobble Buster!</p><p>

- 1...2...3! Jagged tried to make the save but Player Dos keeps him at bay!</p><p>

[The lights go out in the arena and when they come on both Hydra and Sweeney are down, however Hydras arm appears to be </p><p> </p><p>

- Momentum now with UMB as he slams Quackenbush into the steel cage</p><p>

- UMB brutally assaulting Quackenbush, who has been split open above the eye</p><p>

- Quackenbush gets his second wind!</p><p>

- Both Quackenbush and UMB are down.</p><p>

- Mike Quackenbush crawls towards the cage door but Jigsaw slams it shut on him!</p><p>

- UMB regains his composure and takes charge but from nowhere Quackenbush locks in the CHIKARA Special!</p><p>

- Spectral Envoy have come down and take out Jigsaw & The Shard!</p><p>

- UMB is tied in the CHIKARA Special! He must tap out!</p><p>

- Hold on! Someone has just come from the crowd! he's scaling the steel cage</p><p>

- Quackenbush sees him and goes up to meet him</p><p>

- It's Crossbones! Quackenbush knocks him off the top of the cage to the outside!</p><p>

- Meanwhile UMB has made his way to the door! Quackenbush tries to drop down as UMB exits!</p><p>

- It looks like both men escape at the same time! What's the decision going to be?</p><p>

- One referee holds up UMB's hand while another holds up Quackenbush's</p><p>

- We don't appear to have a winner! </p><p> </p><p>

Gavin Loudspeaker: If I can have you attention please. There is no way the match is ending like this. Both men get back in the cage and fight until there's a winner! [The crowd appear to love that decision]</p><p> </p><p>

- The match restarts with Quackenbush in full control</p><p>

- Just as it looks like he has UMB beaten, UMB from nowhere hits the Praying Mantis Bomb!</p><p>

- he just needs to cover Quackenbush...</p><p>

- 1...2...3!</p><p>

The winner of the match and still CHIKARA 9000 Champion, UltraMantis Black!</p><p> </p><p>

Sorry this is going to have to take a back burner for a bit. As you can tell from the last show, my heart really isn't in it as I'm trying to get my real world data sorted as a priority (classic case of biting off more than I can chew). Once I've finished that I will return to this and hopefully put a little more creativity and time into it with a few more weird and wonderful happenings and better worked out segments. I'd rather have something with a bit more quality for people to read than the pile of shite I just posted.
