RAW's General Manager makes his way down the ramp with a beaming grin on his face. Jim Ross reminds us that Bischoff and "Sheriff Austin" have been put on indefinite leave until they work out their differences, but here's Eric in the flesh! He comes down to the ring and grabs a microphone.

Bischoff quickly thanks Mr. McMahon for allowing him to come to RAW tonight and make his announcement. While he's been sitting at home, Eric has been constantly brainstorming to make sure that RAW stays one step ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation. He feels that sometimes the WWE doesn't exactly give the fans what they want...and that's why, in a few weeks on October 19th, RAW will present a brand new concept to involve the fans like never before. Starting very soon, fans will be able to log onto WWE.com and vote on each and every match at the pay-per-view, and on that Tuesday the results will be announced and the matches will take place! Everyone has a chance to witness this brand new pay-per-view, which will be called WWE Taboo Tuesday! And just for a little bit of a look inside of what Bischoff is talking about, he announces the main event:
Shawn Michaels
will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the fans' choice of
"The Big Red Machine" Kane, "Mr. Money in the Bank" Christian, or "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton

One week after being beaten down at the hands of Randy Orton and Batista, The Dudley Boyz were in no mood to play games against Regal and Warlock. Their emotion triumphed over the technical abilities of their opponents and they finished this one with a 3-D to Damien.

, there's a clear tension in the air regarding Randy Orton's attack on Shawn Michaels last week. Both sides know that Triple H could once again have had a shot at the title if Kane had won, but Michaels promised Orton a title shot if he could get through the week as champion. Now that Orton has gained that potential opportunity at Taboo Tuesday, Triple H seems resigned to his fate. He tells Orton that he might not agree with what he did last week, but he understands where it's coming from. It's the desire to be the best, and that's why he was hand-picked as the future of this business. Triple H says he would have done the exact same thing, and tells Orton to focus on what comes next: their Handicap match tonight! No hard feelings...

Mickie started the match with her best friend Lita giving her some tips on taking on Victoria. James gave a valiant effort in this one and really got the crowd behind her, but Victoria threw her across the ring as she tried a Tornado DDT and this completely turned the tides. The #1 contender finished off Mickie James with the devastating Widow's Peak.

is walking out toward the parking lot as out of the shadows comes

, in a foul mood. "The Big Red Machine" calls Bischoff's announcement of Taboo Tuesday as 'treacherous' since he was robbed of the World Heavyweight Championship just last week and deserves another shot! Bischoff calms him by saying that he has a great shot of becoming World Heavyweight Champion at Taboo Tuesday...this doesn't seem to abate Kane's anger, however, and officials are forced to separate him from the General Manager! Eric quickly gets into a limousine, which is driven away from the arena hastily.

leaves the locker room of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. As he walks for a few seconds, he's assaulted by
Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista
! The three members of Evolution quickly lay waste to Ric Flair's partner for the night, stomping him and throwing him into the concrete wall! Medical officials tend to "The Rabid Wolverine" as the beatdown finally ends with Flair sprinting down the hallway to run off his former faction! He checks on Benoit as we go back to ringside.

They send us to Todd Grisham in the back, who's standing with
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels
. He asks Shawn's thoughts on his Taboo Tuesday match and Shawn replies by saying that anything can happen. He's not surprised that Bischoff thought of some sick idea like this because he doesn't want that pesky HBK parading around his show with the title. Shawn says he's beaten all three of these guys in the past, and this is a rejuvenated, revitalized Shawn Michaels who's living the life of the World Heavyweight Champion. He's going to take on whoever the fans vote in because that's what a champion does!

Jeff looked to get back on track and faced an uphill battle in the powerful A-Train. It took a struggle, but Hardy was able to get one up by flying around the ring and out-maneuvering A-Train, finishing this with the Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb!

Y2J says that just sticking your nose into the champion's business doesn't get you a title shot, but that he wants to get "The Hollywood Hotshot" out of his gorgeous, flowing blonde hair and that he'll be glad to beat Nitro's 'Entourage'-wannabe ass at Taboo Tuesday.

This is good news for the man offscreen, as

enters the frame to interrupt Y2J's interview. Nitro says that Jericho surprised him by not chickening out, and Melina says that at Taboo Tuesday, it's out with the old and in with the new.

heads to Eric Bischoff's office, but only finds
Mr. McMahon
there! "Captain Charisma" says he wanted to thank Bischoff personally, but McMahon accepts his gratitude instead. Christian says it's amazing that he won't even have to use his Money in the Bank briefcase to get a title shot and that he's going to dump it in the river once the Peeps vote him into the main event at Taboo Tuesday and he wins the World Title!

This puzzles McMahon...who tells Christian that he doesn't think he understands. Indeed, if he's voted into the main event...and that's a big
if
...and Shawn Michaels pins him or makes him submit...then that Money in the Bank briefcase might as well be thrown in the river, because his title opportunity is
gone
. Christian is appalled at the fact that he could lose his briefcase if Michaels defeats him, but Vince ushers him out toward his match with Kane before he can voice any type of protest!

Christian was obviously distracted by the bomb that Mr. McMahon dropped on him a few moments prior, and did not put in a great performance against Kane. The angered monster chased "Captain Charisma" around the ring and after about 10 or 11 minutes, Christian took a big boot over the top rope. Tyson and Trish convinced him that tonight was not the night, as they grabbed his briefcase and walked out. Kane was the victor by countout, but he wanted to continue to induce pain and suffering upon Christian.

It's gonna be La Resistance defending the Tag Titles against the top two vote-getters out of RVD, Shelton, and Hardy! The three men seem pleased with that, all wanting to get their hands on the duo of Anti-Americans!

Ric Flair and The Dudley Boyz

Evolution

Bubba Ray kicked off the match against Randy Orton, who was on his heels after the revelation that the Dudleyz were Flair's replacement partners. Once their momentum died down, Evolution was able to isolate Flair in the corner and keep his partners away with a methodical assault. A series of hot tags came afterward, with Flair eventually making it in against Triple H, whom he popped in the mouth with a couple of punches. As he was gong for the Figure Four, he was caught with a low blow by "The Game," and the bell rang for a disqualification!

Evolution began a vicious beatdown and with Flair out of commission, it was a 3-on-2 attack on the Dudleyz. Flair was busted open by a slam into the exposed turnbuckle by Batista, and all things seemed lost....when
"The Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit
came running down the ramp with bandages essentially hanging off of different cuts on his head and torso! Officials followed him, but Benoit outran them to the ring and used pure adrenaline to aid the fight against Evolution! Flair and the Dudleyz eventually regrouped, sending Evolution packing over the ropes! RAW ended with the four men finally having numbers over Evolution, who retreated to the back!

UPDATE: Don't worry everyone, this diary is still continuing. Figured I'd clear the air as it's been quite a bit since I've posted here. I've been working a lot and trying to get law school applications in so all my writing time has been focused on writing for law schools. When I have some extra time it usually goes toward the easy to write format in my '96 diary, but I'm coming up with some new plans for 2005 and beyond, so this diary is far from dead. Stay tuned! I've got some really good stuff coming as soon as I have time. My one application is due tomorrow so after that I should be getting back to this. I'm booked up to No Mercy, so only a couple of weeks until Taboo Tuesday and I can set up those polls for you guys as well.

When I have some extra time it usually goes toward the easy to write format in my '96 diary, but I'm coming up with some new plans for 2005 and beyond, so this diary is far from dead. Stay tuned! I've got some really good stuff coming as soon as I have time. My one application is due tomorrow so after that I should be getting back to this.
