New Game+

Will there be a feature similar to this? For example. You do a RTL career for in-game years untill you get old and retire, could you continue playing in that universe even after your original character dies by creating a new one or by making a regen?

It's just because I find it annoying in some games Career Modes (UFC, FIFA) where after you end your original career that Game World with tens or hundreds of hours all go down the drain.

This would be a great feature as it would allow nearly unlimited playtime as well as allow people to use the same world to try different things, for example, making a Technician world star as a first fighter and after he retires, you can create a new fighter (maybe a protege of the first) and play in the world the first character helped shape. Maybe the second will be as big of a star or bigger than the first one or maybe he'll be an indy legend who never signed for the big feds.

What do you guys think?

<p>Imagine when your life will end. All these thousands of hours down the drain. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I think it should be mainly about the experience. But I'm sure there will be an export feature so you can 'save' your stats before you retire. It would be cool to pit two of your characters against each other after a couple of games in an epic match.</p>

<p>Yes, but games can continue. You work hard to create a world and when that one wrestler's career ends so does the world. It'd be a lot more fun to keep going in the same universe than start all over again.</p><p> </p><p>

I like the export idea.</p>

I really like this idea.

Take your first fighter to 2030 and then retire, then being able to take on a new fighter (or a regenned fighter) from that spot and continue along into the future.

That's my idea. The world changed completly. In a real world mod there would dozens of new stars or promotions and it'd be a shame to trow it all away.

<p>There is however the option of creating a dynasty, as real life pro wrestling was all over that the last few years. Rhodes, Snuka, Orton, Anvil, etc. Flair, Hogan,... it doesn't end there.</p><p> </p><p>

Maybe you should communicate it to Adam then. So there's a point in your career (+-50years) where your son or daughter takes over. This does presuppose a career as backstage figure, or either a long career in-ring.</p>

A son/daughter would be good but hard to explain. if you retire at 40, your child would have to have been born when you were in your early twenties or he'll start his career in his mid-teens. </p><p> </p><p> It could even be a totally different person or a trainee you create who gets a protege relantionship or something automatically. A child would emply a relantionship.</p>

<p>What you guys talk about is alot like Connected Careers in Madden. I really like the idea. One way it could work and offer even more oppurtunities in my is this;</p><p> </p><p>

Option to export database (is this already in? I dont think so but hey)...from both TEW and WS. </p><p> </p><p>

In WS, you're a fighter and you get to retirement. You export database, and can use it either as a new starting point for a new wrestler, or convert to TEW where you can take that fighter and in retirement turn him into a booker/owner.</p><p> </p><p>

Likewise in TEW if you have a great young regenerate start come into the world, export database, convert to WS and you can continue through your universe as that fighter.</p><p> </p><p>

Obviously I dont know the complexities of if it'll work but it seems Adam has a TEW > WS converter for the upcoming game... I guess the only other bit is to take a screenshot of the data you have and export it to a new DB.</p>

In the TEW2013 edition, Adam added the "Add a Player" option which is pretty much what people are asking for here. You add a player and then remove the original player. So essentially you can take over the game universe with someone else.

It'd be pretty cool if that gets added to this.
