The Background Information

Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the opportunity to read the beginning of this diary. As many of you know, my last WCW 1994 diary ended when I lost the game due to a BSOD and having to reset my computer. I will not allow myself to make the same mistake this time in that I will be saving my game not only to this computer but to e-mail as well. WCW 1994 is a great starting period for writing because of so many changes. This is where WCW begins it's upswing toward Monday Nitro and toward very nearly putting the WWF out of business. There will be (and already are as I've pushed ahead in this game) definite changes from my last diary as you will see even in the first show.

Inspiration

jhd1 - A great diary writer and one that I go to for support again and again. He is one of my best friends on these GDS boards. He is also responsible for a lot of the graphics work that gets done both in the diary and in different games. I thank him for that.

Eisen-verse - Another amazing diary writer. He is a definite influence on this diary as one will see when things get running. He is another one of my friends and always offers good advice when I need it. His focus on the Supreme world has been an inspiration.

Cut Artists - I cannot forget these amazing people who make the cuts that help bring the game to life. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication!

Lexa90, BHK1978, critical-23, TheLeviticalLawKid3, 20LEgend, Bigpapa42, Emark, Tigerkinney, Rayelek, Midnightnick, RKOwnage and more - These names have been some of the more long-lasting names that have commented and predicted within my diaries in the past. They have been and always continue to be an inspiration to me in their comments and predictions. They always seem to stick by me through thick and thin, though some more-so than others now. But I just want to thank them here and now for their predictions and comments in the past.

I am sure that more will be added as time goes along...

Out from the back comes the number one contender to the WCW World Heavyweight Title: <strong>Sting</strong>! The Stinger high fives the fans along the way to the ring before entering and stretching along the ropes. He is given a wireless microphone from ringside.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sting:</strong> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">"Ladies and Gentlemen, it is amazing to be right here in Memphis, Tennessee because tonight is the night that we set things right. Tonight, later on, we are going to see the Stinger step into the ring and go one on one with the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Ric, you and I have been through the wringer together. We have gone up and down the roads. We have watched each other's back and you've stabbed me in the back quite a few times. But at the end of the day you and I always put on the best show in this ring for the fans, for the little Stingers in the audience. Last week at the Clash of the Champions, you got one up on me. You beat the Stinger in the middle of the ring. No matter what happened with Sherri or anything else, you beat me. But that's going to change tonight. That's going to change because it's SHOWTIME! OWWWWWWW!"</span></span></p><p> </p><p> Sting paces for a moment in the ring before he gets interrupted by the sound of '2001.' The biggest mistake that you made last week is thinking that you could get a beautiful woman like Sensuous Sherri. Did you really think she would pick you over the limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling and dealing son of a gun? She is much smarter than that. She knows that staying with Ric Flair will get her everything that she could ever want because I AM the WCW World Champion and you're just a former title holder, pal. Now, you offer me for me to walk this aisle right now and confront you in the ring? That's not how it works. Later on tonight you and I are going to..."</span></span></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sting:</strong> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">"Are you afraid, Ric? Whoooooooo!"</span></span></p><p> </p><p> Flair looks toward the ring and Sensuous Sherri yells something off-microphone toward Sting. The WCW World Heavyweight Champion turns and walks off and shortly after Sting leaves the ring and heads for the back.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 1: </strong><strong><span style="color:#0000FF;">WCW World Television Title Match</span></strong></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36672" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/wcwtv.jpg</span><p> <span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/StevenRegal.jpg</span> w/ <span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/SirWilliam.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/VS.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/JoeyMaggs.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Lord Steven Regal defends vs. Joey Maggs</span></strong></p><p> The opening contest here on WCW Saturday Night is a WCW World Television Title match as Lord Steven Regal, along with Sir William, takes on 'Jumping' Joey Maggs. What many thought would simply be a squash match was actually more open as Maggs got in some offense against the technically sound Regal. Maggs scores a two count following a dropkick. He heads for the top turnbuckle and an asai Moonsault misses as Regal is pulled out of the way by Sir William. Regal maintains an advantage with some European Uppercut shots before the Television Champion locks Maggs into the Regal Stretch. Maggs fights the hold for about ten seconds before he is submitting.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Lord Steven Regal d. Hart shouts encouragement in the background as Hogan pumps some weights with Mr. T acting as the spotter. The training montage features 'Gonna Fly Now' playing in the background as Hogan is getting ready for his match with Ric Flair at Bash At The Beach. It looks very much like a Rocky movie, including Hogan being surrounded by his Hulkamaniacs as he runs down a street, climbing the same stairs as Rocky in Philadelphia. The video ends with Hogan pumping his fists in the air and then flexing and posing at the top of the stairs.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 3</strong></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36672" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/SteveKeirn.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/VS.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/RickySteamboat.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steve Keirn vs. Ricky Steamboat</span></strong></p><p> A very solid match here on the undercard of WCW Saturday Night as Steve Keirn goes into singles action against The Dragon. This is a back and forth contest as another Steve is talked about during the encounter, that being Steve Austin, Steamboat's opponent at Bash At The Beach. Keirn gets Steamboat on the mat and hooks him in a Boston Crab. The crowd gets solidly behind The Dragon and Steamboat manages to reach the ropes. Steamboat fights back with chops, lighting up Keirn's chest. Keirn strikes back with a clothesline that sends Steamboat over the top rope but Steamboat holds on to the top rope! Brian Knobbs throws Cactus Jack over a table and right into a wall. Knobbs goes after Jack but officials begin swarming the area as Kevin Sullivan and Jerry Sags exchange blows. Jack smiles through the pain as he gets up but he gets grabbed by a random wrestler as we try to keep these two teams apart. Quick tags are the thing of the day between Stars 'n' Stripes, always keeping a fresh man in and keeping The State Patrol off balance. The one brief burst of momentum for Sgt. It did not entirely live up to the fan's standards, though it was truly a back and forth encounter. The two Texans go toe to toe in this match with neither man wanting to back down from a fight. Austin is sent to the ringside area following a stiff right hand from Rhodes but Rhodes follows him out there. Austin blocks Rhodes from striking him against the ring post and instead it's Rhodes that tastes the steel ring post. Stunning Steve re-enters the ring and does his camera reel motion. Rhodes is barely able to answer the ten count. The match turns up another notch when members of the Stud Stable come down to ringside and surround the ring. Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck, Meng and Col. Robert Parker remain at ringside, watching the encounter. Rhodes begins a comeback on Austin about eight minutes into the match. He sets up Austin for the Running Bulldog in the corner but he gets struck from behind by Terry Funk! Referee Randy Anderson was distracted by Col. Robert Parker so he didn't see a thing. This sets up Austin to hit Rhodes with the Stun Gun. He makes the cover: One, Two, Three!</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steve Austin p. As Ric Flair is walking down to the ring, he points to a sign reading: 'Flairmania is runnin' wild!' Sensuous Sherri poses for a picture with that fan before Flair enters the ring where his opponent is already standing. The two men come nose-to-nose in the center of the ring. In the background, two different long signs are shown: 'WOOOOOOO' and 'OOOOOOOW,' both the signature taunts of these two men. The winner of this match will go on to fight Hulk Hogan at Bash At The Beach for the WCW World Heavyweight Title. Both of these men can be technically sound wrestlers and they prove it here in this contest, featuring great heat from the crowd as they cheer on their favorites. Flair uses a lot of his old tricks in this match, including a low blow while Sensuous Sherri has the referee distracted. Flair goes right in on the knee, yanking on it hard and then placing it on the bottom rope before leaping and landing on it. The crowd gets fired up behind Sting as the match goes on. Around the ten minute mark, Flair places Sting in the corner and begins lacing his chest with chops that echo throughout the arena. But somehow Sting doesn't seem to even feel the pain! He releases a howl as Flair looks shocked. Sting begins firing back with punches, the last of which sends Flair to the mat.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Tony Schiavone:</strong> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">"What a match between these two legends! Sting drags Flair back into the ring and whips Flair into the turnbuckle again. But the referee is in that turnbuckle and trapped behind Flair! Sting doesn't see this! He comes rushing in and hits Flair with the Stinger Splash! The referee crumples to the mat and Sting grabs Flair by the legs -- Scorpion Deathlock! Flair cries out in pain, nodding his head! Flair is submitting! He is saying yes over and over again but there is no referee! Sensuous Sherri slides into the ring, taking off one of her high-heeled shoes. Flair pulls himself up slowly, holding his back for a moment and then eyeing the fallen Sting. He grabs the legs of Sting but before he can lock on the Figure 4 Leglock, men come running in from the back. Those men are <strong>Hulk Hogan</strong>, <strong>Jimmy Hart</strong> and <strong>Mr. T</strong>! The crowd goes wild as Hogan enters the ring and Flair runs, quickly exiting the ring with Sensuous Sherri. Flair shakes his head at ringside, verbally denying it! The staredown ensues between the two groups as the show comes to a close. We'll see you tomorrow night for WCW's Main Event!</p>

Saturday, week 2, July 1994

Taped from The Asheville Civic Center, Asheville, NC.

Broadcast via TBS at 6:05 PM EST...

WCW presents...

WCW SATURDAY NIGHT

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/HulkHogan.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/JimmyHart.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/MrT.jpg

Will Sting Give His Blessing?

"Malfunction detected."

"System Overload"

"Warning, Warning, Warning."

"System Overload Critical..."

We are taped from the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina and we are here for WCW Saturday Night! The announcers welcome everyone to the show when 'American Made' begins to play. Out to the ring comes none other than Hulk Hogan! The Immortal One is flanked by Jimmy Hart and Mr. T! Hogan high fives the fans as he walks down to the ring. He slides inside and cups his hand to his ear, getting the 'Hogan' chants that he desires. Jimmy Hart hands Hogan a microphone.

Hulk Hogan: "Well let me tell you something, brothers! It feels amazing to be right here in Asheville, North Carolina, dudes, in front of all you red and yellow wearing Hulkamaniacs! In a little over a week, we are going to have a big celebration because Hulkamania is going to run wild over the current WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair! There is no power greater than Hulkamania, brothers."

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/Sting.jpg

Hogan's pause is just long enough for 'Man Called Sting' to begin to play and out from the back comes that man: Sting! The crowd goes wild for the WCW Franchise but he looks all business as he walks right to the ring. Mr. T steps in between Hogan and Sting and the two men stare each other down for several tense moments. Then Sting takes a step back and is offered a microphone.

Sting: "Hulk Hogan. Welcome to the land that the Stinger built. Welcome to the home where the big boys play. Welcome to WCW. Last week here on WCW Saturday Night we saw what can happen when someone steps in the ring with Ric Flair without anyone to watch their back. Scary Sherri stepped in the ring and interfered and I lost my rematch with the Nature Boy. Now, it's your turn, Hulk. You get the opportunity to do something that I failed to do. You get the chance to get the World title off Ric Flair. And I wanted to come into this ring, face to face with you, and let you know that I have your back at Bash At The Beach. Good luck."

Sting offers a hand to Hulk Hogan and the crowd is definitely behind Hogan shaking hands with Sting. Hogan cups his ear to listen to the crowd and then shakes hands with the Stinger! He raises Sting's arm up high in the air and then the two pose in the ring together before they exit the ring side by side.

Lord Steven Regal defends vs. Scott Stud

Our opening match is another contest for the WCW World Television Title as Lord Steven Regal defends against Scott Stud. Regal is a definite professional in the ring and he shows it, taking Stud to the mat and keeping him there with quick tie ups and submission holds. But Stud fights through them again and again, showing a tenacity. Outside the ring, Sir William yells at a fan who is holding up a sign reading: 'Would you like a crumpet Lord Stevie Regal?' Stud gains a brief advantage but it's cut short when he misses a dropkick. Regal moves in quickly and hooks the Regal Stretch drawing the submission victory.

I'm Still Standing

We move from the ring down to the interview area where Gene Okerlund briefly hypes the 900 hotline before introducing his guest: The Guardian Angel! Okerlund brings up the attack from last week by Vader, only to have The Guardian Angel proclaim that he is still standing and ready to face Vader at Bash At The Beach.

The Guardian Angel: "That's right, Gene. Things are going to get nasty at the Bash. At the end of the day, Vader is going to be the man looking to serve some hard time courtesy of The Guardian Angel."

The Guardian Angel twirls a nightstick and Gene turns things back to the ring for our next bout.

Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce vs. Stars 'n' Stripes

Our next bout is tag team action and it is an encounter that many of the fans don't seem to care all that much about. The match is mostly dominated by the Stars 'n' Stripes pairing for the fans who are not at the bathroom or concession stands. One fan does hold up a sign for this bout: 'Stars n' Texans!' The end comes when Marcus Bagwell hits Tex Slazenger with the Yellow Jacket Suplex, scoring the pinfall: One, Two, Three!

An opportunity To Lay Down

The show returns from a commercial break with Harley Race standing alone in the ring. The veteran and former NWA World Champion talks about his protégé, the man they call Vader and how dominant he has been since coming to WCW. He also invites Sting to come out from the back and go ahead and lie down in the middle of the ring, saving himself from the beating he is going to take later tonight. Sting comes out from the back to answer Race but instead is assaulted from behind by Vader! Vader slams Sting against the guardrail and then picks him up in military press fashion. Vader raises Sting up and drops him throat-first on the guardrail! Sting grabs his throat as he staggers back. Vader takes down Sting with a clothesline as Harley Race joins them.

Harley Race: "See you later tonight, chump."

Race and Vader walk away as EMTs and officials come out to check on Sting, helping him to the back.

The Nasty Boys vs. 'Hardwork' Bobby Walker and Mark Starr

Another squash match as the number one contenders to the WCW World Tag Team titles make short work of Bobby Walker and Mark Starr. Within a little over six minutes, Jerry Saggs strikes Walker with the Trip To Nastyville and makes the cover: One, Two, Three!

Hardcore Style Body Shop

Following the victory by the Nasty Boys, we move to a set up in a garage where we see Jesse Ventura standing by with the WCW World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and Cactus Jack. Ventura welcomes everyone to The Body Shop. He asks Kevin about his brother, Dave. Kevin says that Dave has decided to stay at home and rehab the ankle injury that the Nasty Boys gave him. The focus then turns to the Nasty Boys. Kevin and Cactus say that they've got some hardcore surprises for the Nasties.

Cactus Jack: "Jesse, we are going to make them suffer. Bang! Bang!"

Jesse, then, concludes the Body Shop for this week, thanking his special guests in Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/SherriMartel.jpg

Nick Bockwinkel Makes Shocking Decision

We are taken to a backstage area that, of course, now serves as the office of WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel. Sensuous Sherri is in the room with him and asks him what is going on.

Nick Bockwinkel: "Due to your continued interference in our WCW World Title matches, the WCW Championship Committee and I have made the decision that you are now fired from World Championship Wrestling. Gentlemen, take her away."

Sherri releases an angry, loud scream. She goes after Bockwinkel but security team members step in and grab her, keeping her away from the WCW Commissioner. Bockwinkel smiles as Sherri screams again and again but she is carried away from the office.

Match 4

Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine vs. Johnny B. Badd

This match is definitely a contrast of styles as the mat work of the Hammer collides with the speed and boxing skills of Johnny B. Badd. There is a pretty good technical display in this match as some of the fans get into it. Valentine goes for a Figure Four around the six minute mark but Badd manages to roll him up for a two count. Both men reach their feet and Badd cold cocks Valentine with a right hand punch and then heads to the top rope -- Shooting Star Press! Badd hooks the leg: One, Two, Three!

Interview...Interrupted

Gene Okerlund welcomes the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair down to the interview area. Flair is not in a good mood and begins yelling about Nick Bockwinkel firing Sensuous Sherri! It's not fair to Flair! But Flair says that it doesn't matter if Sherri is ringside with him or not because he's not losing to that red and yellow freak Hulk Hogan. Flair continues to rant when he is interrupted by someone else coming into the interview area.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/TerryTaylor.jpg

Terry Taylor looks toward Flair and says he's ready to walk that aisle. Taylor talks about never winning the big one, never becoming the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. But he says that tonight he can win the big one. He can beat the champ. Flair tells Taylor to walk that aisle and get in the ring because he's going to prove to the red rooster that to be the man, you have to beat the man. Whooooooo!

Match 5: Non Title Match

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/RicFlair.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/TerryTaylor.jpg

Ric Flair vs. Terry Taylor

Terry Taylor is all fired up for this non title match against the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. If he wins, he would be elevated right into a top contender position. The first few minutes is all Terry Taylor, including him hitting an early five-arm flying forearm smash. But all he gets is a two count. The tide turns outside the ring when Flair reverses an irish whip into the stairs, sending Taylor knees first into the steel steps. Flair brings the action back into the ring, beginning his focus on the knees of Terry Taylor. Flair brings a running knee drop crashing on the skull of Taylor and then yells that the match is over! He grabs the legs of Taylor and twists him into the Figure 4 Leglock! The hold is in the center of the ring and Taylor has no choice but to submit, ending this fantastic match.

The Old Arn Anderson

We head right back to the interview area where Gene Okerlund is standing together with Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes. The two men talk about their upcoming match against The Stud Stable at Bash At The Beach. Anderson says that in order to beat them, they have to play their game. He talks about bringing the old Arn Anderson back.

Arn Anderson: "Dustin, I don't wear a white cowboy hat. I am not a good guy. But we are going to take care of business at the Bash."

Rhodes and Anderson shake hands and Gene-o talks about the 900 hotline. Make sure you call! But get your parent's permission!

Match 6

'The All American' Ron Simmons vs. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat

Our semi main event is a contest that could main event all around the world. Two former WCW World Champions collide, showing a chemistry that only some of the greats have in the ring. Ron Simmons is a straight ahead brawler and he shows off that brawling skill with stiff clotheslines and a powerslam on Steamboat that draws a two count. Simmons starts to get frustrated and tosses Steamboat over the top rope. But The Dragon skins the cat and when Simmons turns back around to get him, Steamboat is already in the ring! He lights up Simmons chest with chops and then brings him down with a body slam and a dropkick. Steamboat gets the crowd involved, the cheers growing louder as The Dragon heads for the top turnbuckle. Steamboat waits for Simmons to rise to his feet and then leaps -- Diving Crossbody! Steamboat hooks the leg: One, Two, Three!

Hollywood Meets Dragon

Ricky Steamboat picks up the win but as he stands up to celebrate, he gets chop-blocked from behind by Steve Austin! The crowd boos in the background as Austin strikes the knee again and again of Steamboat, including using the U.S. title belt to strike The Dragon. Austin stands and then grabs the legs of Steamboat -- That's A Wrap! Steamboat cries out in pain and grabs the ropes but Austin doesn't release. Austin slaps Steamboat again and again before finally releasing the hold, giving the camera reel motion before he walks away.

Match 7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/Vader.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/HarleyRace.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/Sting.jpg

'The Man They Call' Vader vs. 'The WCW Franchise' Sting

Our main event features two men who, honestly, do not have any love for each other. A distraction by Harley Race before the bell leads to an early Vader attack and advantage over the man known as the Franchise of WCW. Vader gets Sting into a corner and begins pelting him with forearm shots against each side of the skull until Sting falls to the mat, trying to cover up his head. Vader yells at the crowd, drawing in loud boos. Harley Race points to a sign that reads: 'Vader Time!' Vader tosses Sting from the ring and distracts the official as Harley Race puts in a few kicks to the ribs of the Stinger. The crowd definitely doesn't like this and makes it well known with their boos.

Tony Schiavone: "Fans, I'm not so sure how much more of this punishment Sting can take."

The action returns to the ring and Vader continues his control but as the minutes wear on, Vader begins to grow tired. It can be seen in his hits showing less force and his slower movements. He body slams Sting over in a corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle slowly. He holds on, breathing heavily, then leaps for the Vader Bomb but there's nobody home! Vader lands hard and Sting pulls himself up. He beats his chest and releases a howl as it seems he was pulling a little Muhammad Ali action with the larger man! Sting throws punches and then bounces off the ropes with a big elbow drop on Vader! He pulls Vader up and moves him into a corner. He backs up and then charges -- Stinger Splash! Sting backs up again and hits a second Stinger Splash! Harley Race is irate on the outside! Vader falls to the mat and Sting grabs the legs -- Scorpion Deathlock!

Tony Schiavone: "That has to be it, folks! Sting has the Scorpion Deathlock on Vader! Vader is nodding his head but Harley Race has the official! This makes me sick! What's going on?!?"

Through the crowd comes another competitor, a definite surprise to everyone as he leaps over the guardrail. That man slides into the ring and measures Sting from behind -- Diamond Cutter! Diamond Dallas Page nails Sting with the Diamond Cutter! DDP exits the ring quickly and escapes through the crowd once again but both men are down. Vader slowly manages to move first, crawling over and making a cover on Sting: One, Two, Three!

Two Icons Face To Face

The crowd is stunned at the attack by Diamond Dallas Page on Sting but the show is not quite over. 'American Made' begins to play and the crowd goes wild for the entrance of Hulk Hogan. Hogan high fives the fans and then enters the ring alone, without Jimmy Hart or Mr. T. He poses until '2001' begins to play. Ric Flair walks out, walking that aisle down to the ring, stepping up the stairs and then entering the ring. He looks across toward Hulk Hogan and then asks for a microphone.

Ric Flair: "Hulk, you're in MY ring and in MY town. This is Asheville, Whoooooo, North Carolina. This is Ric Flair Country. When you walk that aisle, you need to pay the proper respect to the best wrestler in this business."

Hulk Hogan: "You are looking at the best wrestler in this business, brother. You are looking at the man who headlines Madison Square Garden. You are looking at the man with the millions of Hulkamaniacs, even some right here in Flair Country, brother."

Ric Flair: "I always say, Hulk, to be the man, you have to beat the man. Right now this belt is around my waist, pal. That means that I am the best. Whether you like it or whether you don't like it, you better learn to love it because I'm the best thing going today."

Flair steps up to Hogan and releases a 'Whoooooo' right up in his face. Hogan responds by ripping apart his Hulk Rules t-shirt. Flair takes the opportunity to throw some chops to the chest of Hogan but Hulk no-sells. Hogan throws some punches and whips Flair into a turnbuckle. Flair flips over and then falls to ringside. Hogan picks up the fallen WCW World title belt and raises it up to a mix of cheers and boos. Hogan stands tall in the ring as the show comes to a close.

Prediction Key:

WCW World Television Title Match

Lord Steven Regal defends vs. 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson

Comment: By DQ or Count-Out.

'The Man They Call' Vader vs. Scott Stud

Comment: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Non Title Match

Bunkhouse Buck and Terry Funk vs. Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan

Comment: Buck is the weakest link of the match, so he takes the fall.

The Nasty Boys vs. Stars 'n' Stripes

Comment: You're supposedly pushing them, so...

Open Challenge Match

Harlem Heat vs. ???

Comment: ??? = Starr & Walker HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL j/k. I have no idea on who's the mystery team.

Non Title Match

'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair vs. 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan

Comment: Gotta keep him strong.

<p>WCW World Television Title Match</p><p>

<em>Lord Steven Regal defends vs. 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson</em></p><p>

Comment: <em>I'm going time limit. At this stage, I don't see Regal getting the outright win, but I also don't figure you to be putting him down by a DQ or anything, and definitely not losing the belt. So standard TV Title Time Limit Rules apply.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>'The Man They Call' Vader</em> vs. Scott Stud</p><p>

Comment: <em>Squish.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Non Title Match</p><p>

Bunkhouse Buck and Terry Funk vs. <em>Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan</em></p><p>

Comment: <em>Making champs look good is good. Plus, Arn and/or Dustin will likely get involved.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Nasty Boys</em> vs. Stars 'n' Stripes</p><p>

Comment: <em>Meh. Nastys have a bigger match at the Bash, so go with that.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Open Challenge Match</p><p>

Harlem Heat vs. <em>???</em></p><p>

Comment: <em>I'm figuring either the RNR, or the Road Warriors.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Non Title Match</p><p>

<em>'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair</em> vs. 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan</p><p>

Comment: <em>One of the easiest matches of the show to predict.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Comments On Last Show: </p><p>

Didn't see Page coming on that one at all - but it's very "of the time", Sting being sent down to feud with the midcarders while Hulk is on top of the food chain. I'm surprised Sting vs Vader didn't rate you higher; burnt out crowd?</p><p>

All the feuds seem to be heating up nicely, building toward the Bash very well. I almost feel like in this game you may pull the Arn heel turn trigger just to be different, but that remains to be seen.</p><p>

And don't think I didn't notice some "Hotstuff" down on Main Event.</p><p> </p><p>

Fun Fan Signs: </p><p>

<em>Can't take the Heat, get outta the kitchen!</em></p>
