Booker T

Booker T is a 10 time WCW World Tag Team Champion along with brother

Stevie Ray, he is also a 6 time WCW Television Champion. In mid 99 Booker

persuaded his brother Stevie Ray to leave the nWo and reunite Harlem

Heat after winning their 10th Tag Titles at Halloween Havoc they were

joined by a 3rd member, Female Bodybuilder Midnight. Stevie Ray neglected

Midnight and started with Booker over her, after Stevie Ray lost a match

to Midnight he attacked Midnight and then Booker. Stevie Ray went on to

challenge Booker T to a match at Souled Out.

Buff Bagwell

Buff Bagwell is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion, with first Too Cold

Scorpio and then Scotty Riggs, the last was almost 5 years ago. Bagwell

had huge fueds in 99 against Ric Flair, Roddy Piper (which ended in a Boxing

match), he then retired Curt Hennig in November before making allegations

about DDP's wife Kimberly. The two are set to collide at Souled Out in a

Last Man Standing match.

Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion along with Dean

Malenko, and Perry Saturn. He is also a 3 time WCW Television Champion

and 1 time WCW United States Champion.

When Benoit and Dean Malenko left the Horsemen the soon formed the

Revolution group along with Shane Douglas and Perry Saturn, they seceded

from WCW forming their own nation complete with flag, they were angry at

the lack of opportunities that younger more talented guys like them were

receiving. Shane Douglas soon took command of the group and ended up

kicking Benoit out when he felt Benoit didn't have the heart for their cause.

Benoit went on to win the WCW TV Title for a 3rd time before beating Jeff

Jarrett in a Ladder match for the US Title. In his biggest match to date

Chris Benoit wrestled Bret Hart to a Submission loss before both received a

standing ovation.

DDP has just enjoyed the biggest year of his career, he is now a 2 time

WCW United States Champion, 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion

along with Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Kanyon (Freebird rules) a 1 time

holder of the WCW Television Title and in April he won the WCW World

Heavyweight Championship (he is a 2 time Champion holding the belt twice

in April). Through the summer he was teaming with Kanyon and Bigelow as

the New Jersey Triad before Kanyon turned on the other 2 and split the

group. He is now set to face Buff Bagwell at Souled Out in a Last Man

Standing match after Bagwell made allegations about DDP's wife Kimberly.

Kevin Nash

Nash is a 2 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, 7 time WCW World

Tag Team Champion (mostly with Scott Hall, but Sting once). He is also a

founding member of the New World Order, nWo Wolfpac and the recent

reformation as nWo 2000. At Road Wild Hulk Hogan retired Kevin Nash, but

he soon returned along and with Scott Hall, Jeff Jarrett and Bret Hart

formed a new version of the nWo.

Ric Flair

Ric Flair is a 6 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, 6 time United

States Champion, a 10 time NWA World Champion and former WCW

President. While president he abused his power awarding his son David Flair

the US Title and doing everything in his power to help him to retain the

belt. He faced Sting for the presidency in July losing the match after Eric

Bischoff made his return to the company awarding the match to Sting after

the previous ref was unconscious and Sting had Flair in the Scorpion

Deathlock. Flair hasn't done too much of note since losing the presidency.

Scott Hall

Scott Hall is a 2 time WCW United States Champion, a 7 time WCW World

Tag Team Champion alongside Kevin Nash 6 times and The Giant once. He is

also a 1 time WCW Television Champion. He defended both the TV and US

Titles in one night against Booker T at Mayhem. He later threw away the

Television Title belt (which hasn't been seen since...) he reformed the nWo

in December along with Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett and Bret Hart (while

injured). He is currently due to return from Injury any time after spending

over a month out and him and Kevin Nash being stripped of the World Tag

Titles due to his injury. (funnily enough he returns before the Tournament

for New Champions is even finished).

Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner is a 1 time WCW United States Champion, a 2 time WCW

Television Champion and a 6 time WCW World Tag Team Champion along

with his Brother Ric. In late 1999 Steiner was sidelined with a back injury

forcing him to be stripped of the US Title. He returned in December to

announce his retirement from Pro-Wrestling, but instead revealed himself to

be in fine health and he attacked Sid Vicious and joining Bret Hart, Jeff

Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in the new nWo 2000.

Sid Vicious

Sid is a 1 time WCW United States Champion, a belt he won in August 99

before losing it at the end of October. Sid lost to Goldberg at Mayhem

ending his "Streak" and he soon stopped calling himself the Millennium man

thereafter. Sid recently took exception to the reforming of the nWo and

was on the receiving end of a Scott Steiner attack, he is set to face nWo

leader Bret Hart for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Souled

Out.

The Total Package

Lex Luger is a 5 time WCW United States Champion, a 2 time WCW World

Heavyweight Champion a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (with

Sting and The Giant) and a 2 time WCW Television Champion. In September

Luger changed his name to The Total Package, stating that Lex Luger was

dead, he aligned himself with Elizabeth but at times he treated her badly

casing Sting to challenge his best friend to a match in Liz's honor. The

Total Package won the match thanks to Elizabeth turning on Sting. In

recent weeks The Total Package has been dressing has and mocking Sting.

Upper Midcard Players;

Bam Bam Bigelow

Bam Bam Bigelow is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Title holder alongside

Chris Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page in the Jersey Triad (Freebird rule).

Since his return to WCW Bigelow first had a huge rivalry with Goldberg over

the World Title before forming the Triad along with Page and Kanyon. Since

the Triad disbanded he has been trying to get his hands on Kanyon, who is

now calling himself "Champagne" Kanyon and considers himself too good for

Bam Bam.

Billy Kidman

Kidman is a 2 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and 1 time WCW World

Tag Team Champion alongside best friend Rey Mysterio Jr. He is a member

of the Filthy Animals stable along with Rey Mysterio, Konnan and Eddy

Guerrero. Valets Tygress and Torrie Wilson are also members of the group,

Torrie who is in a relationship with Kidman. In recent weeks the Filthy

Animals have been involved in a rivalry with Shane Douglas' Revolution

group. Coming to the aid of Jim Duggan a couple of times as well.

Dean Malenko

Dean Malenko is a 4 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion, a 1 time WCW

World Tag Team Champion with Chris Benoit in the IV Horsemen stable and

a 1 time WCW United States Champion. He is a founding member of the

Revolution group, the group believes they have been held back in WCW in

favor of older and less talented Wrestlers. The group has had rivalries with

the West Texas Rednecks, First Family, Filthy Animals and Varsity Club, as

well as numerous attacks on Jim Duggan.

Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes is a 2 time WCW United States Champion, a 1 time WCW

World 6 man Champion and a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (with

Ricky Steamboat and then Barry Windham). Goldust returned to WCW after

promos of the mysterious Se7en character, he conducted an interview where

he took off the costume he was wearing declaring that Over the top

characters in Wrestling were fake! He then started calling himself the

American Nightmare. But recently the more fan friendly Dustin we know and

love seems to be returning as he has been very vocally against the return

of the nWo.

Eddy Guerrero

Eddy Guerrero is a 2 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and a 1 time WCW

United States Champion. He is a founding member of the Filthy Animals

alongside Billy Kidman, Konnan and Rey Mysteri Jr. He along with the

Animals has been in a rivalry with the Revolution group where he holds a

PPV victory over Revolution member Perry Saturn.

Konnan

Konnan is a 1 time WCW Television Champion, 1 time WCW United States

Champion and a 1 time WCW World Tag Team Title holder alongside Rey

Mysterio Jr. He is a founding member of the Filthy Animals with Kidman,

Mysterio and Eddy Guerrero. He along with the Filthy Animals has been

involved with the Revolution group.

Meng

Meng is yet to hold a title in WCW. He did face Bret Hart for the WCW

World Heavyweight Title a few months ago but came out on the losing side.

He has recently turned his attention to the new WCW Hardcore Title and

has been involved in some brutal hardcore matches since it's inception. He

is set to fight for the belt at Souled out in a 4 way match against Norman

Smiley, Fit Finlay and Champion Brian Knobbs.

Perry Saturn

Perry Saturn is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (with Raven and

then Benoit) as well as a 1 time WCW Television Champion. He is a founding

member of the Revolution. In the Revolution Saturn has had fueds with the

Filthy Animals members as well as former Revolution founder Chris Benoit,

recently the group has turned their attentions on Jim Duggan.

Rey Mysterio Jr.

Rey Mysterio is a 5 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and a 2 time WCW

World Tag Team Champion, he is a founding member of the Filthy Animals.

He recently suffered and injury whilst defending the Tag Team Titles

alongside Konnan, he was substituted by Kidman (his best friend as Title

holder). He has still been on screen while injured and it is believed he is

nearing full fitness.

Rick Steiner

Rick Steiner is a 7 time WCW World Tag Team Champion alongside brother

Scott for 6 of those and Kenny Kaos once. He is also a 3 time WCW

Television Champion. He reformed the Varsity Club alongside Kevin Sullivan,

Mike Rotunda and cheerleader Leia Meow. The group left Jim Duggan to get

assaulted by the Revolution just before the turn of the year. Rick also

seemed surprised at his brother Scott's "Turn" he seemed to believe along

with the rest of us that Scott was genuinely hurt.

Shane Douglas

Shane Douglas is a 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champion alongside Ricky

Steamboat from back in 93' (his first run in the company). He is a founding

member of the Revolution where he claims WCW is allowing the older

wrestlers to hold back the younger more talented guys such as himself

Saturn, Malenko and Benoit. Recently though Benoit was booted out the

group being replaced by Female bodybuilder Asya. The group has made Ric

Flair (verbally) a target as well as Jim Duggan (physically). They have also

had a rivalry with the Filthy Animals who came to the aid of Duggan.

Stevie Ray

Stevie Ray is a 10 time WCW World Tag Team Champion with brother

Booker, he is also a 1 time WCW Television Champion. The reforming of the

Harlem Heat team didn't go as well as his brother Booker had hoped for

when Stevie Ray didn't get on with Booker T's new friend Midnight. Stevie

Ray has since fought Midnight to a loss (the stipulation was that if he beat

her she would leave Harlem Heat) and now he is set for a collision course

with his own brother Booker T at Souled Out.

Berlyn (Alex Wright)

Alex Wright is a 1 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and 1 time WCW

Television Champion. Alex Wright amid much hype debuted the Berlyn

character a German Rivethead who refused to speak English, the character

had a few bumps and achieved little of what he'd hoped and his bodyguard

The Wall even turned on him starting a feud between the two. He

disappeared of WCW Television a month or so ago ...

Brian Adams

So far in his WCW career Adams is yet to hold a Title. He was a member of

the nWo which he left and entered a limo that contained the band KISS. He

has since floundered around the WCW midcard doing little, it seems aligning

himself with KISS wasn't the restart in his career he had hoped for.

Brian Knobbs

Brian Knobbs is a 3 time WCW World Tag Team Champion alongside Jerry

Saggs as the Nasty Boys. Since his long time tag team partners retirement

Brian Knobbs has been in first the First Family and more recent he has been

aligning himself with Fit Finlay who has been teaching Knobbs to be

"Hardcore" where he is currently on the hunt for the WCW Hardcore Title.

Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Yet to hold any Titles in WCW Chavo has often been in the shadow of his

Uncle Eddy, who he has aligned with on many an occasion. Chavo had

started going a little "Crazy" earlier this year after his falling out with his

Uncle over him refusing to addopt his Uncles 'Cheating' ways. He first

became fixated on a hobby wooden horse (that he named pepe), leading to

a feud with Norman Smiley who put the horse in a woodchipper. Recently

though Chavo seems to of gotten his life on track a little and is now a

successful salesman ... Or he is still a little Loco and he just believes

himself to be a salesman...

David Flair

David Flair is the son of the Legendary Ric Flair, he is also a 1 time WCW

World Tag Team Champion and a 1 time WCW United States Champion a

belt that his father helped him keep on to for the length of time he held it

by all manner of nefarious schemes. When David's father Ric lost his

presidency and went off screen in the summer things started to unravel,

first he lost the US Title to Chris Benoit, then his girlfriend Torrie Wilson left

him for Billy Kidman. Ric Flair and Arn Anderson returned to TV in October

and tried to help David but when his father then got injured in a match

against DDP David went over the edge, going 'insane'. He even attacked

Arn Anderson with a crowbar, Anderson was only trying to help him at the

time. Recently he has formed an alliance of sorts with fellow "Crazies"

Daffney and Crowbar, they call themselves New Hardcore Revolution.

David Taylor

Daivid Taylor is a long time ally and often tag team partner of Steven Regal,

he hasn't held any title yet in WCW. He is known as "Squire" David Taylor in

the Blue Bloods tag team.

Disco Inferno

Glen Gilberti, or Disco Inferno is a 2 time WCW Television Champion and a 1

time WCW Cruiserweight Champion. He is currently allied with The

Mamalukes after it was revealled that he owed them alot of money. He

attacked his former tag team partner Lash LeRoux to align himself with the

Mamalukes, he seems somewhat reluctant at times but has so far done

what he is told by Marinara.

Fit Finlay

Fit Finlay is a 1 time WCW Television Champion, he also won an Hardcore

Trophy at 1999's Bash at the Beach. He has at times this year aligned

himself with Steven Regal, he suffered an injury though in August that he

has only recently returned from. But rather than get straight back in the

ring he has been advising Brian Knobbs on how to fight Hardcore Style

matches.

Ron and Don Harris

The Harris boys are 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champions and until

recently they had been teaming as "Creative Control". A few weeks ago

though the team aligned themselves with Jeff Jarrett and look set to join

the rebranded nWo 2000 group.

Hugh Morrus

Yet to hold a Title in WCW Hugh Morrus earlier this year joined Jimmy Harts

First Family of Wrestling, the group seems to of gone their separate ways

though after a huge win over the Revolution group. Hugh Morrus hasn't

been seen on WCW Television since.

Ice Train

Ice Train hasn't held any Titles in WCW and other than a successful run as

'Fire and Ice' alongside Scott Nortan Ice Train hasn't had too much success

in the promotion. He regularly competes on Worldwide.

Jim Duggan

Jim Duggan is a 1 time WCW United States Champion. After beating his

cancer Duggan returned to wrestling and WCW he continued to be a huge

patriot and was angered by the denouncing of WCW and America by the

Revolution group, he reformed the Varsity Club and fought Revolution on

PPV, in a dissagreement with Sullivan the Varisty club left him stranded

though and he was assaulted. The next night on Nitro Revolution continued

their attacks on Duggan after he refused to denounce the American flag,

but this time the Filthy Animals came to his rescue. He has on and off been

working as a janitor for WCW since his return to wrestling.

Juventud Guerrera

Juventude Guerrera is a 3 time Cruiserweight Champion. Juventud is a

longtime friend and sometimes rival of Rey Mysterio Jr. and as often been

seen alongside him and the Filthy Animals while Juventud has been

recovering from injury. He has been calling himself 'The Juice' in recent

promos and it is thought he is about ready to return to action.

"Champagne" Kanyon

Chris Kanyon is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion alongside both

DDP and Bam Bam Bigelow in the New Jersey Triad, defending the belts

under Freebird rules (all 3 can defend the belts). He recently turned on his

Triad teammates though and has completely changed his attitude, he says

he has acclimatized to Hollywood and loves Champagne, expensive cars and

women, often accompanied by Nitro Girls Baby and Chameleon to the ring.

Kaz Hayashi

Kaz Hayashi is yet to hold any Titles in WCW. He formed a tag team with La

Park earlier in 1999 with the two speaking in their native languages while a

voice over guy (Ed Ferrara) humorously dubbed over their voices. This

ended when La Parka throw down the microphone annoyed at their voice

overs.

La Parka

Yet to hold any Titles in WCW. La Parka teamed with Kaz Hayashi and while

he and Kaz spoke in their native languages a voice over guy dubbed

humorous comments from the back (Ed Ferrara) La Parka grew increasingly

annoyed at the comments and tossed aside his mic.

Madusa

Madusa is the current WCW Cruiserweight Champion, the first female to

hold the Title. Madusa was originally the manager of Evan Karagias while he

was Cruiserweight Champion, but she found him flirting with Nitro Girl Spice

and decided to challenge him to a match for his Title, at Mayhem she

defeated Karagias for the Title when Spice aligned herself with Madusa and

low blowed Karagias. Madusa in recent weeks has taken exception to

Oklahoma's (Ed Ferrara) comments that women have no place in Wrestling

(inside the ring at least).

Mike Rotunda

Mike Rotunda is a 2 time WCW Television Champion (both wins were in the

late 80's). Rotunda had left WCW in discust and after clashing multiple

times with JJ Dillon left to head to NJPW. He recently returned to WCW (at

Starrcade in December) alongside Rick Steiner, Kevin Sullivan and Leia

Meow as a New version of the Varsity Club.

Norman Smiley

Norman Smiley is the current WCW Hardcore Champion, the only Title he

has so fay held in his WCW Career. He is often nicknamed "Screaming"

Norman Smiley because of his fear of being hit by weapons, he often comes

to the ring wearing the sports jersey of a local sports team, along with

padding and a football helmet to cushion the blows. Smiley won the WCW

Hardcore Title becoming the first Champion in a tournament beating Brian

Knobbs in the Final. He is set to defend the Title at Souled Out in a 4 way

match also featuring Meng, Fit Finlay and Brian Knobbs.

Steven Regal

'Lord' Steven Regal is a 4 time WCW Television Champion. Since his return

to WCW earlier in 1999 Regal has been allied on and off with Fit Finlay, as

well as having his usual tag team with Dave Taylor. He has spent alot of his

claiming to be related to royalty from Samoa, Iaukea changed his name as a

play on singer Prince. He is currently being managed by Paisley.

Tank is a newcomer to pro wrestling coming over from Mixed Martial Arts

and is yet to hold any Titles with WCW. He is on course to face Jerry Flynn

at the Souled Out PPV and has already gotten himself into trouble with

WCW management when he KO'd Doug Dillenger with his 'Phantom Right' a

punch that can knock out anyone, or so he claims.

The Cat

The Cat, Ernest Miller is yet to hold any Titles in WCW. The Cat claims to

be able to beat anyone in under 2 minutes (which he has actually done on

a number of occasions with his Feliner, Springboard Kick).

Vampiro is yet to hold a Title in WCW. He has had rivalries with Konnan,

Berlyn, Dr. Death and Oklahoma. He beat Dr Death at Starrcarde earning

himself 5 minutes alone with Oklahoma as per the stipulations of that

match. Oklahoma actually showed decent ability but Vampiro soon punished

him hitting the Nail in the Coffin.

Asya was revealed as the newest member of the Revolution group after

kidnapping Torrie Wilson. She is aligned with Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn

Crowbar is a 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (along with David Flair

they won the Lethal Lottery Tournament for the Belts) Crowbar is a recent

arrival in WCW after a chance meeting with the now 'crazy' David Flair, Flair

and Crowbar met at the gas station where Crowbar worked, while David

was off to 'meet' his stalker Daffney. Along with David Flair they won the

Tournament to crown new tag team Champions.

Evan Karagias

Evan Karagias is a 1 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion (which he only

recently lost). Karagias had been spending a lot of time with Female

Wrestler/Manager Madusa and when they were both entered in the World

Title Tournament and ended up drawn in to face each other he kissed her

and allowed her to pin him. After that moment Madusa became his manager,

the couple started to have problems almost immediately and after winning

the Cruiserweight Title at Mayhem Karagias started to get wondering eyes,

flirting with the Nitro Girls whenever he could. Madusa growing increasingly

upset with him challenged him to a match for the Title, she won thanks to

help from Nitro Girl Spice (the girl Karagias had spent a lot of time flirting

with). Recently Karagias has formed a boy band.

already made an impact targeting guys who owe money to Marinara, which

has included Disco Inferno who is now 'part of the group/on the payroll'

Lash LeRoux

LeRoux had been teaming with Disco Inferno helping him against Mobb Boss

Tony Marinara, and faced his Mamalukes at Starrcade. Compulsive gambler

Disco was kidnapped at Starrcade after being knocked unconscious, before

later turning on LeRoux to join Marinara in exchange for his debts being

paid off.

Lenny Lane

Lenny Lane is a 1 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion. Lenny Lane recently

came back to WCW after an holiday with his long time partner Lodi (right

after he lost the Cruiserweight Title at an House Show). On returning they

were looking much different than their previous run, they wore expensive

designer suits, carried briefcases and were accompanied by a secretary,

Miss Hancock. Standards and Practices was born. They were here to

oppose the adult themes of WCW.

the now defunct WCW United States Tag Team Titles alongside longtime

The Meastro

team known as the New Hardcore Revolution.

Oklahoma was acting has manager for Dr. Death Steve Williams for awhile

an during Williams' feud with Vampiro, the face painted Vampire got minutes

with Oklahoma thanks to defeating Williams. Recently Oklahoma has started

speaking out against women in Wrestling, claiming they belong away from

the ring and preferably staying in the kitchen. He has challenged Madusa to

a match at Souled Out, because no woman can beat him... Apparently.

Randy Savage

Randy Savage is a 4 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, after his last

title loss in July he competed a couple more times and began a feud with

Dennis Rodman, defeating him at Road Wild. He has been recovering from

two major surgeries in the past two years though and he took some more

time off after that match and hasn't been seen much since.

Roddy Piper

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper is a 3 time WCW United States Champion. Piper was

defeated by Buff Bagwell earlier in the year after a feed between the two.

He was the special referee in the World Title match between Bret Hart and

Goldberg at Starrcade. He was forced to ring the bell by Vince Russo, 'The

Powers that Be' even though Goldberg didn't tap to the sharpshooter. He

apologized to Goldberg the next night on Nitro and helped him against the

nWo (who had reformed).

Terry Funk

been going against the new nWo in recent weeks, especially Kevin Nash

Arn Anderson is a 5 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (or NWA

Champion of the same name) and a 4 time WCW Television Champion. Arn

Anderson has always been by Ric Flair's side through thick and thin, while

WCW President Flair became increasingly corrupt, but Double A stayed by

his side trying to be the moral compass that kept Flair's delusional hunger

for power at bay. In Flairs absence from WCW Arn has recently sided with

another long time friend Terry Funk and is by Funk's side has he attempts

to rid WCW once again of the nWo threat.

Kimberly Page is the wife of Diamond Dallas Page. She is the founder of the

Nitro Girls and lead the group until she left in the beginning of 99, after she

events but got herself into a match at Mayhem where she faces David Flair,

the match was ruled a No Contest after Arn Anderson, Chris Kanyon and

DDP all interfered.

Larry Zbyszko

"The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko is a 1 time WCW World Tag Team

Champion (With Arn Anderson) and a 1 time WCW Television Champion. He

had been doing commentary for most of 1998 and 99 until he came out of

retirement to feud with Curt Hennig, he face Hennig in a retirement match

on December 6th edition of Nitro, losing and returning to the announce

booth. But Terry Funk persuaded Larry to leave the booth once again this

past Thursday on Thunder where he joined Funk in his ongoing feud with

the nWo.

Syren

Torrie Wilson

Torrie Wilson was hired by the nWo earlier in 1999 to turn David Flair

against his Father, pretending to be David's girlfriend. She soon grew a little

bored of her assignment and was caught by Flair flirting with Billy Kidman.

This led to a rivalry between Kidman and David Flair and Torrie joined the

Filthy Animals starting to manage Kidman soon after. On the November 22,

1999 episode of Nitro, during a tag team match between Billy Kidman and

Konnan facing Creative Control for the WCW World Tag Team Championship,

Billy Kidman looked up at the Turnertron and saw that Torrie Wilson and

Eddie Guerrero were shown flirting inside his locker room on the "Kidcam", a

hidden camera segment, which has led to a few problems between Guerrero

and Kidman.

Bret Hart

Bret Hart is a 2 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, a 4 time WCW

United States Champion and a 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champion

alongside Goldberg. When Bret Hart and Goldberg won the Tag Titles on

December 7 they both became WCW Triple crown Champions. At Starrcade

later that month Hart defeated Goldberg, but only after Roddy Piper was

ordered to ring the bell by Vince Russo (The Powers that be), on Nitro

December 20 Hart vacated the Title and challenged Goldberg again for the

right to be Champion, saying he didn't want the belt that way. During the

match Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came out with Baseball bats assaulting

Goldberg, soon after Jeff Jarrett joined them and Hart not only won the Belt

back, he and the others had reformed the nWo, now known as nWo 2000.

Bryan Clarke

After a lengthy undefeated streak Bryan Clarke tore his ACL in a match

against Jerry Flynn on April 15, 1999, he has spent the last 9 months

recuperating and could be out for another 3 months.

Curt Hennig

Curt Hennig is a 1 time WCW United States Champion and a 1 time WCW

World Tag Team Champion. Hennig was in the West Texas Rednecks

southern band, who had the infamous song "Rap is Crap". After the group

split Hennig soon lost a retirement match against Buff Bagwell November 21,

1999. He is yet to return, but it is rumored that he is actually only injured

and will be back once he heals up (he isn't the first to lose a retirement

match and show back up in WCW months (and sometimes weeks) later).

Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been aligned with Randy Savage for much of his career and

was even married to him for some time. She has recently been by the side

of a new man in her life, Lex Luger she was last seen in Luger's corner while

he beat Sting who was fighting for Liz's honor, she turned on Sting in that

match and cost him the win.. Then allowed The Total Package (Luger) to

assault and eventually injure Sting while she stood by.

Goldberg

Bill Goldberg is a 2 time WCW United States Champion, a 1 time WCW World

Tag Team Champion (alongside Bret Hart) and a 1 time WCW World

Heavyweight Champion. Goldberg challenged Bret Hart to a match for the

WCW World Heavyweight Title at Starrcade 99, the match saw Bret Hart

win thanks to Roddy Piper's calling for the bell whilst Goldberg was locked

in the Sharpshooter, Goldberg though had not tapped and it transpired that

Piper had been told to ring the bell by non other than Vince Russo. Hart

announced that he would fight for the World Title with Goldberg again on

Nitro the next night, seemingly unhappy at the way he had gotten the win

at the Starrcade match. The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) though

attacked Goldberg during the match and in a huge shock Bret Hart joined

the Outsiders in the assault before scoring the pin. Bret Hart, Kevin Nash,

Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett then announced that they were re-forming the

New World Order. On that weeks Thunder however tragedy would strike for

Goldberg, he chased the nWo limo into a parking lot and began pounding on

the windscreen to get at the Wrestlers inside, he then smashed 2 of the

side windows with his fists and a third with his forearm.. Thats where the

problem started, he tore his forearm up pretty bad, lost a lot of blood and

almost lost his arm at hospital ... He will now be out until May at the

earlyist.

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is a 6 (or 7 if you count the controversy of the Nitro match

from December 29, 97 where Hogan was originally awarded the match by

Nick Patrick, but original official Randy Anderson who had been knocked out

camer back around and awarded the match to Sting). time WCW World

Heavyweight Champion. He was last seen in WCW at Halloween Havoc back

in October where he was defeated by Sting in a match for the World

Heavyweight Title, he is out resting his bashed up knees and it is currently

unknown when he will make his return...

Jeff Jarrett

Jeff Jarrett is a 2 time WCW United States Champion. After winning the

WCW United States Championship for the second time Jeff Jarrett (that

same night) alongside Kevin Nash, Scott Hall (The reigning tag team

champions) and Bret Hart (the current World Heavyweight Champion)

formed nWo 2000. Last Monday on Nitro though Jarrett suffered a

concusion from a match set up by Terry Funk with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.

It is currently unknown how long Jarrett will be out of action.

Sting

The Stinger is a 1 time WCW Television Champion, a 2 time WCW United

States Champion, a 3 time WCW World Tag Team Champion (with Lex

Luger, The Giant and Kevin Nash) and a 6 time WCW World Heavyweight

Champion, he is also the Battlebowl 1994 winner and European Cup winner

1994, Iron Man Tournament winner 1989, Crockett Cup winner (with Lex

Luger) 1988 and King of Cable Tournament Winner 1992. After making it to

the semi finals of the 32 man Tournament for the Vacant WCW World

Heavyweight Title in November, Sting would lose at the Mayhem PPV to

Bret Hart, in a huge sign of respect the two men shook hands afterwards

cementing Stings return to favoritism in the eyes of the fans. During that

match however Lex Luger had interfered which Sting wanted payback for,

he challenged Luger (now known has the Total Package) to a match at

Starrcade which Luger won thanks to an asist from Elizabeth, she and Luger

than assaulted Sting after the match with Steel Chairs putting him out of

action. It is thought he will be out for around 3 months.

Paul Orndorff

"Mr. Wonderfull" Paul Orndorff is a 2 time WCW World Tag Team Champion

alongside Paul Roma and a 1 time WCW Television Champion. He currently

works as a trainer and Road Agent as well as showing up by Terry Funk's

side in Funk's battle against the new nWo.

Bobby Eaton

Bobby Eaton is a 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champion alongside Arn

Anderson and a 1 time World Television Champion. He currently works as a

Nick Patrick

Nick Patrick is a Referee for WCW, he has been involved in many

controversial decision during his time officiating in matches as well as being

the 'Official' nWo referee when the faction first formed in 1996.

Scott Armstrong

became an Official having been put in place by Terry Funk.

Billy Silverman

Charles Robinson

Charles Robinson is a WCW Official who has often been called "Little Naitch"

for his likeness to Ric Flair, he has often been biased towards Flair as well

as a few other top Wrestlers like Sid Vicious and Rick Steiner recently

though he has been showing less and less bias, hopefully his bad officiating

days are behind him.

Mike Tenay

"The Professor" Mike Tenay was brought up to the main show Nitro in

September 96, serving as a third man in the booth alongside Tony

Schiavone and Bobby Heenan. When Thunder was added to the WCW lineup

Tenay became lead announcer for the show.

Tony Schiavone

Bobby Heenan

Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara were the hit writing team behind the WWF's

sudden rise, the promotion who at one point seemed destined to close

down after being beaten by WCW week after week in the TV Ratings battle

known as "The Monday Night Wars" the duo had saved WWF with their edgy

often controversial storylines involving sexual content, profanity, swerves

and worked shoots. They became burnt out in the WWF and in October

1999 the duo signed for rivals WCW, they hoped to make the same "Crash

TV" style only at an accelerated pace, including edgier storylines, more

lengthy non-wrestling segments, constant heel/face turns, an increased

amount of sexuality on the shows, fake retirements, more backstage

vignettes, expanded storyline depth, title changes, and the utilization of

the midcard in a more effective manner. One of the most notable storylines

included the "Powers that Be" angle, which implied a mysterious, unseen

and secret power source whom everyone in WCW were obliged to obey.

Russo and Ferrara often focused shows on poking fun at the WWF ... The

"Crash TV" style with the brakes turned off, wasn't working and with Vince

Russo getting two phone call's over the second weekend of January 2000

one from Bret Hart saying he would not be able to compete at Souled Out

(or the foreseeable future) the second from Jeff Jarrett who would also not

be able to compete, Russo came up with his most crazy idea yet. Forced to

change all his plans for the PPV he sat down with his booking committee to

decide what would happen, here he pitched that they put the WCW World

Heavyweight Title on Tank Abbott, a former UFC Fighter who had done little

to warrant him holding any Title yet in his short WCW career, yet here was

Vince Russo suggesting that Tank Abbott win a battle royal coming out last

and knocking out Sid Vicious with a single punch...

Monday morning and an emergency meeting in Buffalo where WCW Nitro is

going to be held this very night, the WCW hierachy have gotten wind of the

plans that Head Writer Vince Russo has for the World Heavyweight Title

match. The purpose of the meeting is to force Russo to come up with

another plan .. They fail, they try to get Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara to

listen to the other writers and get them to come up with a better idea ..

The best they come up with is to merge the World Heavyweight Title and

United States Title matches into one. I.E Sid Vicious faces Chris Benoit for

the WCW World Heavyeight Title ... 4 Hours to come up with that, Nitro

starts in a little over 3 1/2 hours and Vince Russo threatens to walk if he

isn't handed full control back, he walks. Ed Ferrara is offered to stay on a

newly formed Booking Committee (made up of the former Underwriters), he

accepts.

The New Booking Committee;

Ed Ferrarra, Kevin Sullivan, Kevin Nash, J.J. Dillon and Bob Mould.

Things are slowly coming together, with Vince Russo's plans being altered

for the nights Nitro the Wrestlers start to arrive.. Then more trouble starts.

For the full story we would have to go right back to 1997 when Chris Benoit

and Kevin Sullivan were in a bitter feud (storyline) and Woman (manager

and wife of Sullivan) got involved in the feud, outside of the ring Kevin

Sullivan and Nancy (Woman) were having problems and soon divorced, why

was the divorce seemingly rushed!? Because she and Benoit started dating

and were soon engaged. So with Kevin Sullivan announced to the Wrestlers

as one of the new booking committee the bad blood between him and

Benoit got stirred right back up to the surface and 13, yes thirteen

Wrestlers threatened to walk out if Kevin Sullivan wasn't removed from the

committee ... Most were not named but Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, Eddy

Guerrero, Shane Douglas, Billy Kidman and Konnan were thought to be

among them, along with Chris Benoit of course.

As for Kidman, always enjoyed his matches, wasn't a huge fan of his Heel runs though (WCW or WWF/e).

Did he offer to step down or was he (the more popular theory) forced to

step down. Whatever the truth may be Kevin Sullivan was the shortest

WCW Booker in history (and they have had some real short one's

previously) lasting just over two hours before the ever popular J.J Dillon

was given the task of informing the boys, the thirteen Workers who had

spoken out were also asked to come into a meeting with the new Booking

Committee Tuesday morning to discuss their careers going forward, to see

if there was any ideas they had for their own characters. It isn't "Creative

Control" like Hulk Hogan is said to have but it's a good deal for the

wantaway Wrestlers and the Committee will be hoping they can persuade

them to stay, especially the four who the WWF have apparently already

contacted about going to work up north before this whole incident even

kicked off. But who will fill Kevin Sullivan's chair in the committee? Can

Vince Russo be persuaded to work within a Committee like situation? Did

Kevin Sullivan take/agree to a deal before stepping down?

Terry Funk was the man to fill the final spot on the committee, a popular choice among the wrestlers.

Vince Russo is so far refusing to work in a committee...

Sullivan will still be on the books as a Manager ... But he suddenly got himself a huge bonus...

My XWF dynasty didn't do too badly i managed to keep it going for a few months game time but i just got a little lost with it... I mulled this over longer than i usually would because it's real world and i feel i have struggled with real world writing. After a couple of months of idea writing etc. i decided to go for it... In December, Bret Hart and Goldberg had formed a tag team before

Goldberg challenged Bret for a match at Starrcade for the WCW World

Heavyweight Title. Bret Hart won via a wacky finish thanks to "Rowdy"

Roddy Piper coming out and declaring Hart the winner, after Hart had

Goldberg locked in the Sharp Shooter, but Goldberg had not tapped. It

turns out Piper was ordered by 'The Powers that Be' )later revealed as

Vince Russo) to do this. The next night on Nitro Bret Hart vacated the Title

and challenged Goldberg to a second match, for the Title again saying he

did not want to be awarded the belt like that. Hart won again this time from

interference by the Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash). Bret stopped the

beatdown but then swerved us all attacking Goldberg with a baseball bat,

eventually he pinned Goldberg for the win. The nWo was reformed (nWo

2000) with Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett. A few days

later Goldberg injured himself trying to fight his way into the nWo's limo, he

was smashing the windows and cut up his arm pretty bad, he is now on the

shelf. Sid Vicious then took it upon himself to save WCW from the re-formed

nWo but was run over whilst in a limo by Bret Hart driving a monster truck,

luckily Sid only suffered minor injuries. Scott Steiner returned and did a fake

retirement, only to swerve everyone and joining the new New World Order.

Bret Hart is set to now face Sid Vicious at Souled Out!

Chris Benoit was due to face Scott Hall at Starrcade for the United States

Title, but due to Hall being injured Benoit was awarded the title and then

challenged by Jeff Jarrett. Chris Benoit versus Jeff Jarrett is set to take

place at Souled Out in a Triple Threat Theater match (3 stages of Hell).

The Outsiders had won the WCW World Tag Team Championships from Bret

Hart and Goldberg prior to Starrcade. But the belts were vacated thanks to

Scott Hall's injury. This led to a Lethal Lottery Tournament to crown new

Champions.

Diamond Dallas Page and Buff Bagwell were in a Blood Feud over allegations

of Buff trying it on with Kimberly. DDP claimed he would not wrestle again in

WCW until he was given a match with Bagwell, they will clash at Souled Out

in a Last Man Standing match.

Lex Luger and Sting's relationship had fallen apart, Luger is now calling

himself the Total Package and has been breaking arms as of late alongside

Elizabeth, who turned on Sting with Luger while the Stinger was trying to

stand up for Liz who he felt was being mistreated by Lex. Sting however did

manage to win the match (he was expecting the swerve, he learns after he

has been swerved so many times over the years) but after the match The

Total Package injured Stings arm by placing it in a chair and jumping on said

chair, Sting is currently on the shelf.

A new Commissioner was coming to put things back on track ... That

commissioner turned out to be Terry Funk, who along with his allies Roddy

Piper, Paul Orndorff, Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson, as well as a few guys

who came in on one show deals to Wrestle for Funk, George "The Animal"

Steel, Tito Santana and "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. Kevin Nash soon

challenged Funk for the Commissionership since Funk was proving to be a

thorn in the side of the nWo.

The OOC bit: So i have tried a number of times over the years to get to

grips with a Real World dynasty, other than my short run XWF dynasty is

never really got much started or had much success. I really had hoped to

do the WCW inVasion of WWF how i saw it but i just couldn't seem to get it

from my head and onto paper (or word/the forums). This idea has been a

month or so in the making while i practice wrote a few shows out, got all

the information together and testing if it was an idea i could run with etc.

It seems to be working and here we are ...

One other quick note those of you who like me sat through WCW in 2000

may of noticed i changed a little of the history a tincy wincy bit, a fact

here a match there and a yak who the Revolution kicked out over that way.

I wasn't taking out the bad stuff (and there was plenty at this time believe

me) i was just fudging a few things because of the dates (because as you

know TEW only recognizes a 48 week year and we all know in the real world

we have 52 weeks right!?) and the data being the way it was. So here we

go, this is WCW In 2000 and this is Jingo's story...

This week on WCW's Flagship show the WCW World Tag Team Champion the New Hardcore Revolution, David Flair and Crowbar will be putting the belts on the line in a 3 way tag team war also featuring The Revolutions Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn and the Filthy Animals' Konnan and Billy Kidman. Oklahoma continues his qest to prove women do not belong in a WCW ring when he makes an open challenge, who will answer his chllenge!? Will Madusa be at Nitro? The Filthy Animal's Rey Mysterio will be in singles action when he faces WCW's Greatest Dancer, "The Cat" Ernest Miller. Creative Control's Ron and Don Harris are no longer under the control of "The Powers that Be" and tonight they break out against PG-13. We also have an Hardcore warmup match featuring 2 of this Sundays competitors for Norman Smileys WCW Hardcore Title.

Then in the Co-Main event someone will step up and face the nWo's Kevin Nash, who will it be!? Will WCW have a new saviour or will the nWo continue to dominate!? Then finally in the Main Event we have a huge Battle Royal for a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Title at Souled Out, who will come out on top?

Thank god (or Jingo) for the roster review as it actually gave me a decent idea what I could expect here. I think one of the girls in the roster will answer this challenge and likely lose since Madusa is the one who likely defeats him at the end.
