<p>PHOENIX 5, 1st real card of fights</p><p> </p><p>

Here is the first card I put together for the company away from a tournament. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>1st fight - Petey Barnum v Phil Ball (Light Heavyweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>As soon as the bell rang, Barnum walked out to the middle of the cage and was blasted in the head with a devastating kick to the head and a 29 second knockout by Phil Ball.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Good</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>2nd fight - Kramer Mayweather vs Tyson RechSlatter (Middleweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>In a fight that really saw little action and the fans booing, Mayweather wins by unanimous decision.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Awful</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>3rd fight - Francis O'Leary vs Joe Hinchcliffe (Middleweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Hinchcliffe looked very good against the veteran O'Leary and beat him up pretty bad before knocking him down in the 3rd and pounding him on the ground until the ref stopped the fight at 2:15 of the 3rd round.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Good</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>4th Fight - Xavi Castillejo vs Rupert Lennox (Lightweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Great fight that had the fans on their feet all fight, Lennox outlasts Castillejo for the 29-28 decision. Probably the best fight I have had in WMMA3 so far with all the talk of the fans and everything.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Great</span></p><p> </p><p>

5th fight - Pete Shilton vs William Harrision (Light Heavyweight)</p><p> </p><p>

Harrision took Shilton down quickly in this one and got him in an armbar for a submission at 1:11 of the first.</p><p> </p><p>

RATING: Good</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>6th Fight - Barry Strachan vs Bob Dozier (Heavyweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Dozier was able to outlast Strachan in this one, Dozier gets the win by decision.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Poor</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>7th Fight - Milton Harvey vs Grant Shodwart (Heavyweight Main Event)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Shodwart had some great takedowns and in the end looks like why he was able to beat Harvey in a split decision victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Average</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Fight of the Night: Lennox v Castillejo </span></em></strong></p><p><strong><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">

KO of the Night: Phil Ball</span></em></strong></p><p><strong><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">

Submission of the Night: William Harrison</span></em></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em><span style="color:#48D1CC;">Overall, a decent card but should have been better. Looking for smaller cards in the future though as money could become a severe problem for the small company.</span></em></p><p><em><span style="color:#48D1CC;"> </span></em></p><p><em><span style="color:#48D1CC;">

<strong>2nd Fight - Frank Analysis vs Wally Bryant (Heavyweight)</strong></p><p><strong>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Poor</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>3rd Fight - Christopher Sharp vs Russell McPhee (Heavyweight)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</em></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: Good</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">Fight of the Night: Sharp v Mcphee</span></span></span></em></strong></p><p><strong><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">

Submission of the Night: NONE</span></span></span></em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#00FFFF;">Not a great card and with 2 ugly fights, it hurt us badly as this was not a success at all. Poor crtitical and Decent Commercial is not good enough for sure.</span></p>

<strong>2nd fight - Adrian Pascal (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">4=1</span></strong><strong>) vs Geoff Cahill (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">48-24</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Little too late in a flurry at the end of the fight by Coelho as Flintstone did his damage in the first 2 rounds to grind out an unexciting decision.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: VERY POOR</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Afonso Romero (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">6-5</span></strong><strong>) vs Kramer Mayweather (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">2-0</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Mayweather started very quick and dominated Romero for a very good first round TKO at 2:42</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: GREAT</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Roope Kuqi (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">0-0</span></strong><strong>) vs Stan Blackheath (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">21-10</span></strong><strong>) </strong></p><p> </p><p>

**Kuqi was signed as a 4th generation fighter at 17 years old and am trying to see what he is made of quickly though I din't mean for him to be so high up the card.**</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Kuqi didn't disappoint anyone with this fight at all as he jumped on blackheath and TKO'd him in the first round. This kid might be a big plus on the early signing.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>Phoenix 11</p><p> </p><p>

Some major rumblings around this company as there are major negotiations with fighters around the world.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Barry Strachan (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">24-16</span></strong><strong>) vs Fletcher Merman (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">8-3</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

<em>Merman out punched Strachan for the decision in a boring fight that the fans let them know about.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: POOR</span></p><p><span style="color:#FF0000;">

</span></p><p>

<strong>Marvin Stevens (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">21-11</span></strong><strong>) vs Frank Analysis (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">36-20</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

<em>Analysis wins over Stevens in another boring decision fight.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: POOR</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joe Hinchcliffe (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">21-12</span></strong><strong>) vs Tyson Rechslatter (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">3-2</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Hinchcliffe beats Rechslatter in another decision except this one had a little more action.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: DECENT</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Phil Ball (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">12-5</span></strong><strong>) vs William Harrison (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">4-0</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Harrison looked good in a submission win with an armbar in the first round.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">RATING: GOOD</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lamont Banner (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">4-0</span></strong><strong>) vs Frankie Geddon (</strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">5-1</span></strong><strong>) Lightweight Championship Fight</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

<em>Banner TKO's Geddon in the 2nd round at 2:28 but this was rated weird for a regulr fight.</em></p><p> </p><p>

RATING: AWFUL</p><p> </p><p>

<p>State of the Phoenix company</p><p> </p><p>

Well, after 11 cards, I have not been able to get above 44% so money is going to get me someday. Things will have to pick up for us but right now, trying to figure out matchups. </p><p> </p><p>

We lost out on Junior Pantikin as negotiations broke down and he signed back with Gamma, too bad, he would have been a good one to have. We have signed some could be top guys in a while but they are certainly a work in progress.</p><p> </p><p>

NEW HIRES</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Carter Potter</strong> <em>#8 Heavyweight in the world and a big signing. Should be a contender for the title.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ademir Coelho</strong> <em>28 year old Middlewieght. Fough once already but didn't look great.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ethan Sutton</strong> <em>22 year old wrestler looks promising but lost a very close fight vs Alex Cole in his debut.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Roope Kuqi</strong> <em>18 year old that was chased by a few companies before landing with Phoenix. He looked great in his first pro fight.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tarcisio Dantas</strong> <em>Another young guy, 23, looking to make his name with Phoenix. His TKO vs Warren Kitt showed he is ready.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Syed Tan</strong> <em>24th ranked Welterweight is a high level fighter that we were able to secure to fight in the middleweight division. Looks very promising.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Truck Gleeson</strong> <em>Truck Gleeson is the only fighter we have that is not exclusive yet. He is ready to step in anytime however and should make an impact in the lightweight division</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Seth O'Breen</strong> <em>The #7 Lightweight in the world will get an immediate chance to make a Phoenix name for himself as he will get a title shot vs the champ very soon.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manish Khan</strong> <em>#7 Featherweight will be going into the Lightweight division and looks very good. Not with the company quite yet but will be soon and looks to make a name for himself in the new division.</em></p><p> </p><p>
