The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio

The main event of tonight´s edition of WWE Superstars will see the World´s Strongest Man in action as he will take on another former World Champion in Alberto Del Rio in what should be a great main event. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Mark Henry failed to defeat the WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in their Stairs match as Ziggler retained the Intercontinental title. Mark Henry will therefore be hoping to get back to winning ways by picking up the all-important victory over Del Rio tonight.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen

Also tonight on WWE Superstars the WWE Universe will witness tag team action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will take on Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen, known as “Team Gorgeous”. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Roman Reigns and William Regal in a Ladder match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships and both of these teams would love to be the next in line for a title opportunity.

Kelly Kelly versus Maxine

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly take on Maxine. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View AJ Lee beat Paige to win back the Divas Championship and both Kelly and Maxine will be looking to impress tonight to potentially be the first in line to challenge AJ for the title.

<strong>WWE Superstars (Live from Boone County Fairgrounds (IA), 1,050 in Attendance)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Hailey Hatred versus Nicole Matthews</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Hailey Hatred defeated Nicole Matthews in 17:43 by submission with a Cattle Mutilation. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe still not really caring about either of these Divas despite Hailey Hatred having competed in several matches on Friday Night SmackDown recently. Ultimately, Hailey Hatred is able to get the all-important victory here in a match that goes the distance.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Jordan & Dillinger in 18:17 when Sami Zayn defeated Tye Dillinger by pinfall with a Red White & Blue Thunder Bomb. The Godfather accompanied the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima to ringside for this match and supported the team the WWE Universe refer to as “International Explosion” with vocal instructions as well as cheerleading throughout the match which may have been what led to Zayn and Nakajima getting the win.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Colin Cassady</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Colin Cassady in 17:47 by pinfall with a BulPlex. Alexander Rusev was really off his game tonight but was still able to get the win over Colin Cassady.</p><p>

<strong>Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Team Gorgeous defeated Brodus & Riley in 7:10 when Tyler Breeze defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Beauty Shot. Brodus Clay was really off his game tonight which led to the “Team Gorgeous” pairing of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen singling out Brodus for the majority of the match, unwilling to let him tag Alex Riley. Eventually Brodus was able to get Riley into the match only for Riley to be hit by the Beauty Shot from Tyler Breeze which led to Breeze pinning Riley to pick up the win for his team.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the new and first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Lesnar was not accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman as he retrieved a microphone to address the WWE Universe and proclaim that this past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View he beat the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show in their Tables, Ladders and Chairs match by climbing a ladder and retrieving both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship and as such is now the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar said that after John Cena beat Kane on Sunday in a Number One Contenders match, Lesnar would be looking forward to beating Cena. Kane then came to the ring and said that he had been informed by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that as Cena cheated to beat Kane and also disrespected Vickie, Kane will be the one to be given the first title shot. Paul Heyman then came to the ring and ordered Lesnar to attack Kane until Sheamus rushed to the ring to make the save. The United States Champion Sheamus told Lesnar he’d see him in RAW’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event. Later on in the evening Kane attacked Cena backstage before Kane and Dean Ambrose teamed up to defeat the Kings of Wrestling pairing of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Further highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW including the Divas Champion AJ Lee teaming up with Ayako Hamada to defeat the team of Audrey Marie and Mia Yim as well as Seth Rollins defeating Chris Jericho only for the Rock to make his way to the ring following the match and telling Rollins that he may be good but it takes more than good to win the 30 Man Royal Rumble match, which the commentators had earlier announced that Rollins will be taking part in next month. A WWE.com exclusive video is then shown from after RAW went off the air with Jo Jo approaching Audrey Marie backstage and asking her why she hasn’t been returning her calls which leads to Audrey Marie slapping Jo Jo before calmly walking away.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Our final portion of highlights from Monday Night RAW are shown including the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero coming to the entrance-way and telling the WWE Universe that everything that is happening to John Cena is his fault. Before the main event, Sheamus flirted with Emma backstage who wished him luck heading into RAW’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event. In the main event the new and first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar defeated the United States Champion Sheamus.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kelly Kelly versus Maxine</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Maxine defeated Kelly Kelly in 5:55 by pinfall. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these Divas would love to challenge for the Divas title at some point in the future.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Highlights are shown from this past Sunday’s TLC Pay-Per-View including Dolph Ziggler defeating Mark Henry in a Stairs match to retain the Intercontinental title and Big Show losing the main event Tables, Ladders and Chairs match to Brock Lesnar. A tweet is then shown from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announcing that tomorrow night’s main event will see Ziggler put the Intercontinental title on the line against Jimmy Uso.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Mark Henry defeated Alberto Del Rio in 12:36 by submission with a Bear Hug. The commentary team note that Henry needed this win after losing on Sunday.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Post-Show: Yoshi Tatsu versus Angelo Dawkins</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Angelo Dawkins defeated Yoshi Tatsu in 12:44 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Dawkins wrestle.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: F+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Post-Show: Braden Walker versus Danny Burch</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Braden Walker defeated Danny Burch in 13:26 by pinfall with a Spear. This match unfortunately needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.</p><p>

This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Dolph Ziggler defeated Mark Henry in a Stairs match in which the steel stairs were legal to be used as weapons, with Ziggler making the first successful defence of his WWE Intercontinental Championship. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight should be fully behind Jimmy Uso in this one as he looks to pick up the all-important victory and become a singles Champion for the very first time. Jimmy’s brother Jey will also be likely to be cheering on his twin brother tonight in SmackDown’s main event. Ziggler became the Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career last month on SmackDown when he defeated the former Champion Big E Langston and the Cocky Dolph Ziggler will be hoping to make his second successful title defence tonight on the last ever episode of Friday Night SmackDown this year. </p><p> </p><p>

Ziggler receives a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe as he enters the ring and retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Ziggler says that this past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View he was able to defeat Mark Henry in their Stairs match to successfully retain his Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler says that his title defence against Henry was his first successful title defence and that there will be many more to come. Ziggler says that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle has for some reason decided that Jimmy Uso is worthy of a shot at his title in tonight’s main event, and that despite Ziggler questioning the sanity of Hornswoggle for making the match, Ziggler is going to steal the show as always. Ziggler says that now the World Heavyweight Championship is no more, Ziggler is the top star on SmackDown and is going to make it his show, defending his title with pride, flair and star power week in and week out. http://www.targetcenter.com/assets/img/WWE_RAW_LIVE_DEC_2014_SPOTLIGHT-NEW.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: Steel Cage Match: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose

The main event of the first episode of Monday Night RAW of 2014 tonight will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar take on Dean Ambrose in a non-title Steel Cage match. This match can be won via pinfall, submission or escaping the cage either through the door or over the top of the structure. Last week on Monday Night RAW the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar came to the ring without his advocate Paul Heyman to boast of his accomplishment og becoming the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion only to be interrupted by Kane, who informed Lesnar that he had been told by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he will be challenging Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman then came to the ring and ordered Lesnar to attack Kane until the United States Champion Sheamus came to the ring. Lesnar’s opponent tonight, Dean Ambrose, has been a friend and tag team partner of Kane for the past few months and an all-important victory for Ambrose tonight could do wonders for his career.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus The Wyatt Family

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in action as they will face the Wyatt Family of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Last week on RAW Zack Ryder informed the WWE Universe that he will be taking part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and we also learnt last week that the patriarch of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, will also be involved in the Royal Rumble match.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Randy Orton

The WWE United States Champion Sheamus will face Randy Orton in non-title tonight on Monday Night RAW. Last week on RAW the WWE Universe saw a new side to Sheamus as he came to the aid of Kane whilst Kane was being attacked by Brock Lesnar.

Rob Van Dam versus John Cena

John Cena had a rough week last week on Monday Night RAW as he was informed that despite beating Kane in a Number One Contenders match, he had lost his opportunity to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to his cheap victory as well as disrespecting the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Cena looks to bounce back as he takes on Rob Van Dam tonight.

CM Punk versus Roman Reigns

The former WWE Champion CM Punk will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Roman Reigns. Last week on RAW we learnt that Punk will be taking part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee take on Audrey Marie in a non-title match. We found out this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Paige will challenge AJ for the Divas title at the Royal Rumble.

Pre-Show: Becky Lynch versus Beth Phoenix

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Becky Lynch defeated Beth Phoenix in 18:05 by pinfall with a Hard Knox. Becky Lynch was visibly tiring towards the end of this match against the former Divas Champion Beth Phoenix. However, despite having weaker physical conditioning than her much larger opponent, the newcomer Becky Lynch was still able to pick up the all-important victory here in a match that went the distance after hitting her Hard Knox finishing maneuver.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Kings of Wrestling

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kings of Wrestling defeated Brodus & Riley in 18:01 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a K.R.S.O.N.E. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler made their way to ringside prior to this match and witnessed the Kings of Wrestling of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno get the victory here after an impressive Cesaro pinned Alex Riley.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Xavier Woods versus Jack Swagger

Match Rating: C-

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the “Big Red Monster”, the masked Kane, making his way to the ring. Kane receives a great reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Kane says that this is the start of a new year, and that this year is going to be the year of the monster. Kane says that in just a few weeks at the Royal Rumble he will defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and that if Lesnar’s so called associate Paul Heyman gets in his way, he will send Heyman straight to hell. Kane continues by noting that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has made a Steel Cage match for tonight’s main event with Brock Lesnar taking on Dean Ambrose in a non-title match. Kane says that he has become somewhat of an ally of Ambrose in recent months and sees the same deranged mind in Ambrose that Kane possesses. Kane says that he is aware that everything is against Ambrose tonight but that he is confident his friend can pull something out of his bag of tricks. Brock Lesnar then rushes into the ring and sneaks up behind Kane and hits him with an F5. Lesnar then takes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from around his waist and holds it high above the fallen Number One Contender with a smile on his face. Lesnar has delivered a message to Kane here tonight without needing Heyman.

Rating: B-

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, AJ Lee defeated Audrey Marie in 6:22 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard. Rain accompanied Audrey Marie to the ring for this one but it was the Divas Champion AJ who got the win.

Match Rating: E+

Following her victory AJ celebrates until Audrey Marie and Rain begin to attack AJ and they are soon joined by Beth Phoenix, Kharma and Mia Yim. The five Divas attack AJ until Brie and Nikki, the Bella Twins, rush to the ring to make the save. A brawl then ensues until the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the entrance-way and says that she will not have chaos on her show.

Rating: E

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus The Wyatt Family

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Wyatt Family defeated Team CoBro in 7:22 when Luke Harper defeated Santino Marella by pinfall with a Clothesline. Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio

The first WWE Superstars of 2014 will see the same main event as the final episode of Superstars of 2013 last week as Mark Henry will once again take on Alberto Del Rio. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Alberto Del Rio will be taking part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and as a former winner Del Rio has to be one of the favourites heading into the Royal Rumble match. Mark Henry defeated Del Rio last week and will be looking to pick up the all-important victory again tonight.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will face the duo of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen, otherwise known as “Team Gorgeous”. These two teams faced off last week on Superstars with Team Gorgeous getting the victory and another win for Breeze and Madsen tonight could well earn them a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Just as this past week on Monday Night RAW, Rain accompanied the “Original Diva” Audrey Marie to the ring for her match against Audrey Marie. Rain offered plenty of vocal support as well as shrieking at ringside which may have been what led to Audrey picking up the all-important victory here in a match that went the distance.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Hunico & Camacho in 18:25 when Sami Zayn defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Red White & Blue Thunder Bomb. Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Kane making his way to the ring. Kane received a positive reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieved a microphone from the ringside area. Kane proclaimed that later this month at the Royal Rumble he will defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and that if Lesnar’s “advocate” Paul Heyman tries to get in his way then Kane will send him straight to hell. Kane also noted that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero had made a non-title Steel Cage main event match for RAW with Brock Lesnar taking on a friend and tag team partner of Kane, Dean Ambrose. Kane said that he believed in Ambrose and that he had what it takes to beat Lesnar in the main event. Many members of the WWE Universe don’t seem to believe that Kane stands a chance at beating Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Jey Uso

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Dolph Ziggler put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jey Uso. Last week on SmackDown Ziggler retained the Intercontinental title against Jey’s twin brother Jimmy in the evening’s main event, and tonight the WWE Universe will witness the other half of the Uso’s, Jey, attempt to win tag team gold for the first time in his career. Last week on SmackDown we saw Jimmy and Jey backstage discussing their ultimate goal of proving that they deserve a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships more than the Prime Time Players of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, but if Jey is somehow able to beat Ziggler tonight then they may go down the path of singles careers. The Cocky Dolph Ziggler is holding the Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career and his current reign began back in November of last year when he defeated the former Champion Big E Langston. Ziggler will be hoping to pick up another all-important victory in what will be his third title defence tonight.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Rhodes Dynasty versus Prime Time Players

We will witness tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust, collectively known as the Rhodes Dynasty, will take on the Prime Time Players of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil in a non-title match. The WWE Universe should be fully behind Cody and Goldust in this one as the Prime Time Players look to pick up a victory that could lead to them getting a future title opportunity.

Ryback versus Damien Sandow

Also tonight on the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown of the new year we will see Ryback take on Damien Sandow. Last week Sandow picked up a victory over R-Truth and we learnt that he will be taking part in the Royal Rumble match later this month.

Rey Mysterio versus Fandango

Rey Mysterio, a former Royal Rumble match winner, will also be taking part in this year’s 30 man Royal Rumble match later this month but before then Mysterio will face Fandango tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

R-Truth versus Curtis Axel

We learnt last week on Friday Night SmackDown that R-Truth will be taking part in this year’s 30 man Royal Rumble match and tonight R-Truth will look to build momentum heading into the Royal Rumble as he takes on Curtis Axel.

Bayley and Christina Von Eerie versus Paige and Rosa Mendes

Finally, tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Bayley and Christina Von Eerie team up to take on Paige and Rosa Mendes. Later this month at the Royal Rumble Paige will challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship and a victory in tag team action tonight on SmackDown will do no harm for Paige’s momentum heading into her title match. The WWE Universe have taken to Bayley since her debut and she will team with Christina Von Eerie for the first time tonight.

Pre-Show: Natalya versus Alicia Fox

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alicia Fox defeated Natalya in 18:06 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Alicia Fox seemed off her game tonight in this Divas match between two former Divas Champions that went the distance. Largely due to Alicia being off her game, Natalya dominated this match from the offset but it was still Alicia who ended up picking up the all-important victory after hitting Natalya with her Watch Yo Face finishing maneuver.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Primo and Epico

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Primo & Epico defeated Trent & Yoshi in 17:39 when Primo defeated Yoshi Tatsu by pinfall with a Backstabber. The small man dressed in a Bull costume known as El Torito accompanied the former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico to ringside for this tag team match and El Torito was very active at ringside which may have been what led to Primo and Epico getting the win after Primo pinned Yoshi Tatsu.

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Ziggler takes a microphone from the ringside area and tells how last week on the last episode of SmackDown of 2013 he defeated Jimmy Uso in the main event to retain his Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler then says that tonight on SmackDown he is going to begin the New Year in pretty much the exact same way that he ended the last one as tonight in the main event he will put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jey Uso. Ziggler says that he is glad that he is being given some competition by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle, who announced the match on Twitter earlier this week, but that Ziggler needs tougher competition than two Samoan tag team guys. Ziggler says that he will happily put his title on the line every week from now until the end of the year and will go the entire calendar year without losing his title, proving that he really is the best this company has to offer. Jey Uso then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand and says that whilst Jimmy was unable to take the Intercontinental title from Ziggler last week, things will be very different tonight. Ziggler tells Jey that he and his brother are living in a dream world if they think they can take the Intercontinental title.

Rating: C-

Bayley and Christina Von Eerie versus Paige and Rosa Mendes

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Paige and Rosa Mendes defeated Bayley and Christina Von Eerie in 6:26 when Paige defeated Christina Von Eerie by pinfall with a RamPaige. WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat accompanied Bayley and Christina Von Eerie to the ring tonight for this tag team match but it was their opponents Paige and Rosa Mendes that got the victory.

Match Rating: E

After the match Paige and Rosa Mendes look as though they are going to attack Bayley and Christina Von Eerie as Ricky Steamboat looks on at ringside with a concerned look on his face until Alexa Bliss rushes to the ring to make the save. Paige and Rosa retreat to the back and Alexa and Ricky Steamboat join Bayley and Christina in the ring.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Chris Jericho

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar take on Chris Jericho in a non-title match. In a few weeks at the Royal Rumble Brock Lesnar will put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Kane and last week on RAW Lesnar successfully defeated Kane’s friend and tag team partner Dean Ambrose in a Steel Cage match set up by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Lesnar has been given another challenge tonight in the form of Chris Jericho who would love nothing more than to pick up what most would consider an upset victory over Brock Lesnar to build momentum heading into the 30 Man Royal Rumble match later this month. Last week on Monday Night RAW the WWE Universe saw a confrontation between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt in which Jericho said he would win the Royal Rumble match but Wyatt claimed that he will be the one to stand victorious.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Roman Reigns

Sheamus will put his WWE United States Championship on the line tonight on Monday Night RAW in a Triple Threat match against Alexander Rusev as well as Roman Reigns. Sheamus has held the United States Championship since last July when he won the title in a Triple Threat match and tonight the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is making Sheamus put the title on the line for the first time this year.

Kane and Dean Ambrose versus Kings of Wrestling

At the Royal Rumble later this month Kane will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but before then Kane will team with Dean Ambrose tonight on Monday Night RAW to take on the Kings of Wrestling pairing of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. A win for the Kings of Wrestling could gain the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and earn them a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Tajiri versus John Cena

A blast from the past will return to Monday Night RAW tonight as the “Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri will take on John Cena. The WWE Universe should be pleased to see Tajiri as he looks to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and earn a full-time position.

Zack Ryder versus Drew McIntyre

Zack Ryder told the WWE Universe two weeks ago that he will win the 30 man Royal Rumble match and go on to main event Wrestlemania but before that Ryder must take on one-third of 3MB in Drew McIntyre tonight on Monday Night RAW.

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and The Bella Twins versus Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee team up with Brie Bella and Nikki Bella, the Bella Twins, to take on the team of Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma in a huge six-Diva tag team match. Later this month at the Royal Rumble AJ Lee will put her Divas title on the line against Paige who this past week on Friday Night SmackDown was victorious in tag team action. Things are chaotic in the Divas division as of late as last week on RAW AJ was attacked by Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix, Kharma and Mia Yim which led to the Bella Twins making the save.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Chris Jericho

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Roman Reigns

Kane and Dean Ambrose versus Kings of Wrestling

Tajiri versus John Cena

Zack Ryder versus Drew McIntyre

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and The Bella Twins versus Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Curtis Menard Sports Center (AK) 5,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Ayako Hamada versus Mia Yim

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Ayako Hamada defeated Mia Yim in 17:42 by pinfall with a Liger Bomb. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe yet to care about either Diva despite both making several appearances on Monday Night RAW over the past few months. Mia Yim in particular has been in many matches on RAW since she came up from NXT late last year. Ayako Hamada picked up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus The Wyatt Family

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Wyatt Family defeated Brodus & Riley in 18:13 when Luke Harper defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Clothesline. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler made their way to their positions at ringside prior to this match taking place and witnessed the Wyatt Family of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan pick up a victory.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: CM Punk versus Jinder Mahal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, CM Punk defeated Jinder Mahal in 17:48 by submission with an Anaconda Vice. This match was broadcast live on WWE.com and both Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler on commentary agreed that Punk has to be one of the favourites in the Royal Rumble match.

Match Rating: B-

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring, once again without his advocate Paul Heyman. Once in the ring Lesnar retrieves a microphone from the ringside area as he is greeted by jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance. Lesnar said he wanted to come out alone tonight and do his own walking. Lesnar says that later this month he will beat Kane at the Royal Rumble to successfully retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship but until then he looks forward to continue conquering any WWE superstars that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero puts in front of him. Lesnar notes that the next to be conquered is Chris Jericho, who Lesnar will face in tonight’s non-title main event. The masked Kane then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand and says that last week Lesnar hit him with an F5, and Kane was fazed for a few minutes. Kane says that he isn’t just a monster; he is a Knock-Out Artist and that he is going to knock Lesnar unconscious at the Royal Rumble and leave with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Kane then enters the ring and Kane and Lesnar stare at one another for a second before Kane grabs Lesnar by the throat and hits the WWE World Heavyweight Champion with a Chokeslam.

Rating: B

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and The Bella Twins versus Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, AJ Lee and The Bella Twins defeated Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma in 5:50 when AJ Lee defeated Audrey Marie by pinfall with a Shining Wizard. The WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee was really off her game tonight which led to her three opponents singling out AJ for the majority of the match until AJ was able to tag in Brie Bella and the Bella Twins cleaned house with double team maneuvers before tagging AJ back into the match to pick up the win for her team after hitting Audrey Marie with the Shining Wizard.

Match Rating: E+

Following their victory AJ Lee and the Bella Twins celebrate in the ring until John Bradshaw Layfield comes to the ring to interview AJ, who tells JBL that she is ready to defend her Divas title against Paige at the Royal Rumble later this month.

Rating: C-

Kane and Dean Ambrose versus Kings of Wrestling

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ambrose & Kane defeated Kings of Wrestling in 6:45 when Kane defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall with a Dirty Deeds. Cole and Lawler argue over whether Kane has what it takes to beat Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Kane wins this match for his team after Ambrose hits Ohno with the Dirty Deeds before allowing Kane to pick up the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: C

We cut backstage to find Chris Jericho walking down a corridor when in his sights he sees his opponent tonight, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Jericho immediately runs away but Lesnar chases him. The chase is on.

Rating: B

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Roman Reigns

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sheamus defeated Alexander Rusev and Roman Reigns in 7:58 when Sheamus defeated Alexander Rusev by pinfall with a Celtic Cross. Sheamus makes defence number 5 of his WWE United States title. Roman Reigns came to the ring with a crowd, dressed like Royalty.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to see Chris Jericho continuing to run from Brock Lesnar until Jericho runs into Paul Heyman. Lesnar then catches up with Jericho and Heyman tells Y2J not to worry, Lesnar merely wants to inform Jericho that tonight he is going to be conquered by the “Beast” Brock Lesnar.

Rating: B

Tajiri versus John Cena

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, John Cena defeated Tajiri in 7:01 by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment. Tajiri made his return tonight and continues to be a Martial Artist with plenty of kicks in his offence.

Match Rating: C

We cut backstage to find Paul Heyman, the advocate of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, getting a cup of coffee when Kane grabs him by the throat and tells him that he better send Brock Lesnar a message, that Lesnar’s days are numbered.

Rating: B-

Zack Ryder versus Drew McIntyre

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Zack Ryder defeated Drew McIntyre in 6:58 by pinfall. Lawler believes that Zack Ryder may be a dark horse in the Royal Rumble match, a comment that Michael Coe laughed off.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Seth Rollins walking into the office of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, and Rollins tells Vickie that he’s stopped caring about her daughter Raquel Diaz and is now solely focused on winning the Royal Rumble match.

Rating: C+

We cut to another backstage area to find the WWE United States Champion Sheamus in conversation with Emma, bragging about how he defeated two men earlier to retain his US title. Emma seems impressed.

Rating: C-

Emma and Sheamus continue to flirt until Alexander Rusev walks into the scene. Emma walks away as Rusev tells Sheamus that he has his sights set on the United States Championship and is going to keep coming after it every single week. Sheamus says bring it on.

Rating: C-

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Chris Jericho

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Brock Lesnar defeated Chris Jericho in 15:45 by pinfall with an F-5. Paul Heyman accompanied his client Brock Lesnar to ringside for this match.

WWE Superstars (Live from Ben Boeke Ice Rink #1 (AK), 1,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Christina Von Eerie versus Nicole Matthews

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Christina Von Eerie defeated Nicole Matthews in 17:48 by pinfall with a Codebreaker. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe not really caring about either Diva despite Christina Von Eerie in particular being involved in several matches over the past few months on Friday Night SmackDown. Since being called up from NXT neither of these Divas have yet to catch the attention of the WWE Universe. Nevertheless, Christina Von Eerie picks up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Woods & Steamboat defeated Jordan & Dillinger in 17:45 when Xavier Woods defeated Jason Jordan by pinfall with a Lost in the Woods. Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Enzo Amore

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Enzo Amore defeated Uncle Elgin in 18:23 by pinfall. Uncle Elgin and Enzo Amore don’t seem to click as opponents and it made for an awkward bout tonight.

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Lesnar retrieved a microphone from the ringside area as the WWE Universe in attendance showered Lesnar with jeers. Lesnar proclaimed that at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View later this month he will defeat Kane in their match to successfully retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar also said that until then he will conquer any other Superstars that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero puts in front of him, including his opponent in RAW’s non-title main event Chris Jericho. Kane then came to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own and told Lesnar that he is a Knock-Out Artist and will knock Lesnar out at the Royal Rumble. Kane then entered the ring and hit Lesnar with a Chokeslam. Later on in the evening Kane and Dean Ambrose defeated the Kings of Wrestling, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. We also saw Brock Lesnar chase Chris Jericho around backstage until Chris Jericho ran into Paul Heyman, who told Jericho that his “Beast” Lesnar just wanted to tell Jericho that he will hurt him in the main event. Later on backstage we saw Paul Heyman getting a coffee until Kane grabbed Heyman by the throat and threatened him.

Rating: C-

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Ryback

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle on Twitter and will see Dolph Ziggler put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ryback. This will be the third week in a row that the WWE Universe will have witnessed an Intercontinental Championship match on SmackDown after Dolph Ziggler beat Jimmy Uso to retain his title two weeks ago and last week beat Jimmy’s twin brother Jey to make yet another successful title defence. Dolph Ziggler won the Intercontinental Championship for the second time in his career back in November of last year when he defeated the former Champion Big E Langston on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Since then Ziggler has made three successful title defences as in addition to his recent wins over Jimmy and Jey Uso, Ziggler also beat Mark Henry in a Stairs match at last month’s TLC Pay-Per-View to retain his title. Ryback earned his title shot tonight by virtue of defeating Damien Sandow last week on SmackDown in what was a return match from the TLC Pay-Per-View pre-show shown exclusively on WWE.com last month when Sandow defeated Ryback in Ryback’s return match after spending a few months competing in NXT.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Rhodes Dynasty versus The Wyatt Family

The WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust, collectively known as the Rhodes Dynasty, will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, members of Bray Wyatt’s Wyatt Family. Although tonight’s match is a non-title affair, a victory for Harper and Rowan could lead to them getting a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Kofi Kingston versus Damien Sandow

We know that later this month Damien Sandow will take part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and Sandow will tonight look to build momentum heading into the Royal Rumble match with an all-important victory as he takes on Kofi Kingston on Friday Night SmackDown.

The Great Khali versus Alberto Del Rio

Two former World Heavyweight Champions will go head to head tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as Alberto Del Rio will take on the Great Khali just a few weeks before Del Rio takes part in the Royal Rumble match.

Rey Mysterio versus Bo Dallas

Rey Mysterio is a former winner of the Royal Rumble match and will take part in this year’s match in just a few weeks but before then Mysterio will take on Bo Dallas tonight on Friday Night SmackDown with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe.

Christina Von Eerie versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the beautiful Christina Von Eerie take on Paige. Later this month at the Royal Rumble Paige will challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Ryback

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Rhodes Dynasty versus The Wyatt Family

Kofi Kingston versus Damien Sandow

The Great Khali versus Alberto Del Rio

Rey Mysterio versus Bo Dallas
