WWE Superstars (Live from the Amarillo CC Grand Plaza (TX), 1,100 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Emma versus Beth Phoenix

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Emma defeated Beth Phoenix in 17:52 by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. Emma was unfortunately exhausted by the end of this match as despite competing on the main roster in front of the WWE Universe for many months now and having competed in several matches on Monday Night RAW, the dancing Australian Diva still struggles in long matches. The former Divas Champion Beth Phoenix has superior stamina but Emma is still able to pick up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: F+

(Mike Rotunda thinks that Emma needs to be booked a little smarter and that she needs to be booked in shorter matches as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Jordan & Dillinger defeated Trent & Yoshi in 17:34 when Tye Dillinger defeated Trent Barreta by submission with a Sharpshooter. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe still yet to really care about the team of Jordan and Dillinger despite them having competed a few times on Friday Night SmackDown.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Mark Haskins

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Mark Haskins in 17:40 by submission with a Crossface. Mark Haskins was really off his game tonight which led to Elgin getting the win here.

Match Rating: E

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Team CoBro defeated Amore & Cassady in 6:53 when Zack Ryder defeated Colin Cassady by pinfall with a Cobra. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and John “Bradshaw” Layfield note that the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder needed this win after losing to Roman Reigns and William Regal this past week on Monday Night RAW.

Match Rating: D

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstar airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. The “Beast” received a positive reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieved a microphone from the ringside area. Lesnar said that he learnt last week from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he would be putting his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Street Fight against Seth Rollins at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Lesnar said that he was looking forward to inflicting a ton of pain on Rollins as well as looking forward to taking on Tensai in RAW’s non-title main event. Lesnar noted that he beat Tensai’s tag team partner Jack Swagger last week on RAW and was looking forward to going toe to toe with another credible opponent. Seth Rollins then came to the entrance-way and told Lesnar that he can beat as many Superstars as he wants on RAW but that at Extreme Rules he would beat Lesnar just like he beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to end the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania undefeated streak. Lesnar said that he knows Rollins beat the Undertaker and he knows that Rollins was the first ever NXT Champion, but that at Extreme Rules Lesnar will beat him. Later on in the evening we saw Rollins in Vickie Guerrero’s office claiming that he will win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules.

Rating: C+

Alexa Bliss versus Maxine

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexa Bliss defeated Maxine in 6:43 by submission. The former WWE Tag Team Champion Road Dogg accompanied Alexa Bliss to ringside and offered vocal support throughout the match which may have led to Alexa getting the win.

Match Rating: E

We see more highlights of Monday Night RAW with Tensai backstage saying that he has competed all over the world but at heart he is a Texas Brawler and would beat Brock Lesnar in RAW’s non-title main event. We also saw Sheamus beat Alexander Rusev and Alex Riley in a Triple Threat match to retain the US title with the WWE Universe in attendance in support of the “All-American” Alex Riley.

Rating: D-

Further highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW with Roman Reigns and William Regal beating Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Later on in the evening Kane would come to the ring and challenge Roman Reigns to a Steel Cage match at Extreme Rules. Reigns came to the ring and hit Kane with a Spear before accepting the challenge and claiming that he would beat Kane and then go on to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. William Regal then joined Roman Reigns which led to Dean Ambrose coming out to attend to Kane. Reigns said that with Regal by his side nothing would stop him from becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. We also saw John Cena beat Tajiri.

Rating: C-

Highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW’s opening match which saw the Divas Champion Nikki Bella beat Raquel Diaz in non-title action after changing places with her twin sister Brie. Audrey Marie and Rain then came to the ring and attacked Brie before Audrey announced that she will challenge Nikki for the Divas title in a Submission match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.

Rating: E-

Final highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW with Sheamus about to leave the arena before Alexander Rusev and Michael Hayes approached him and Hayes said that Rusev would not stop coming after the US title. In RAW’s non-title main event Brock Lesnar beat Tensai.

Rating: D+

Highlights are shown from last week’s Friday Night SmackDown with Wade Barrett beating Braden Walker to retain the Intercontinental title and Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro beating the Uso’s in the main event to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. A tweet is then shown from the SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announcing that tomorrow night Ryback will take on Erick Rowan and in the main event Barrett will put his title on the line against Ted DiBiase.

Rating: C

Big E Langston versus Alberto Del Rio

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E Langston defeated Alberto Del Rio in 11:51 by pinfall with a 5 Count. The commentary team note that this is a huge win for Big E over a former World Champion in Del Rio.

Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Ted DiBiase versus Calvin Raines

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Ted DiBiase defeated Calvin Raines in 12:58 by pinfall with a Dream Street. Dean Malenko accompanied Calvin Raines to ringside but DiBiase got the win heading into his Intercontinental title shot tomorrow night.

Match Rating: E+

Post-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Axl Keegan

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Axl Keegan defeated Richie Steamboat in 12:32 by pinfall with a Spinebuster. Mike Rotunda accompanied Axl Keegan to the ring for this match.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Ted DiBiase

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via tweet sent out by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Wade Barrett put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ted DiBiase. Wade Barrett is currently enjoying his fifth reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion, a reign that began back in February when Barrett defeated the former Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match on SmackDown also involving Ryback. Since then Barrett has made seven successful title defences including wins over Ted DiBiase’s new tag team partner Braden Walker for the past two weeks in a row on SmackDown, and in between those victories Barrett also defeated Mark Henry at Wrestlemania to make another successful title defence. Ted DiBiase will be hoping to pick up the all-important victory tonight to become the new Intercontinental Champion, a win that would certainly rejuvenate his career. The WWE Universe will likely be fully behind DiBiase tonight, a former WWE Tag Team Champion and the son of the WWE Hall of Famer, the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro versus The Rhodes Dynasty

Last week in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro defeated the Uso’s to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Tonight Kidd and Cesaro will take on Stardust and Goldust, collectively known as the Rhodes Dynasty and former WWE Tag Team Champions in their own right. This is a rematch from Wrestlemania when Kidd and Cesaro defeated the Rhodes Dynasty. Tonight is a non-title match but a win for Stardust and Goldust could see them earn a title shot in the near future.

Ryback versus Erick Rowan

Ryback will take on the Wyatt Family’s Erick Rowan tonight on Friday Night SmackDown in another match announced earlier this week via Twitter by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle.

Christian versus Darren Young

The former World Champion Christian will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown when he will take on one half of the Prime Time Players, Darren Young. Both of these Superstars will be looking to impress the WWE Universe with a win.

Kofi Kingston versus Jimmy Jacobs

The high-flying Kofi Kingston will take on Jimmy Jacobs tonight on Friday Night SmackDown with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe in attendance as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle.

Christina Von Eerie versus Layla

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the former Divas Champion Layla take on Christina Von Eerie. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Audrey Marie will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas title in a Submission match at the upcoming Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Mario Morales Coliseum (PR), 5,500 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Natalya versus Alicia Fox

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Natalya defeated Alicia Fox in 17:50 by submission with a Sharpshooter. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved as despite both Natalya and Alicia Fox being former Divas Champions and having made numerous appearances on Friday Night SmackDown over the past few months, it has been years since their title reigns and they are not that relevant to the WWE Universe anymore. Nevertheless, Natalya picks up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: The Uso’s versus Primo and Epico

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Uso's defeated Primo & Epico in 17:37 when Jey Uso defeated Epico by pinfall with an Alley-Us. The small man dressed in a bull costume known as El Torito once again accompanied the former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico to ringside for this match but it is the team who lost the WWE Tag Team Championships just last week, the Uso’s, that bounce back by getting the win here.

Match Rating: C

Pre-Show: Big Show versus Rene Dupree

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big Show defeated René Duprée in 17:45 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. Big Show was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win.

Match Rating: C

Tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett making his way to the ring. Barrett receives a chorus of boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Barrett says that two weeks ago on SmackDown he defeated Braden Walker to retain the Intercontinental Championship, and that just two days after that he defeated Mark Henry at Wrestlemania to make another successful title defence, by managing to lift the World’s Strongest Man on to his shoulders and deliver the Wasteland to pick up the win. Barrett then continues that last week on SmackDown the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle put him in another title match as he once again beat Braden Walker to retain the Intercontinental title. This then brings Barrett to tonight, when Barrett will defend the Intercontinental title once again in tonight’s main event against Ted DiBiase. Barrett says that DiBiase’s father, the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, may be a WWE Hall of Famer but that the bad news or Ted Jr. is that he has never quite lived up to his father’s hype. Barrett says that despite being a former WWE Tag Team Champion, DiBiase has yet to win singles gold in the WWE whereas Wade Barrett is a five-time Intercontinental Champion. Barrett says that DiBiase’s new tag team with Braden Walker known as “Money Most Wanted” is another pathetic attempt to live off of DiBiase’s father’s successes, and that tonight Barrett will prove why DiBiase cannot and will not ever hold the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: C

Christina Von Eerie versus Layla

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Layla defeated Christina Von Eerie in 5:50 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Christina Von Eerie and Layla have pretty good chemistry as opponents and it lifted the match.

Match Rating: D-

We cut backstage to find Hailey Hatred applying make-up when Nicole Matthews walks over to the mirror. Nicole Matthews tells Hailey Hatred that no matter what she puts on her face she will never be as beautiful as Nicole Matthews.

Rating: E-

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro versus The Rhodes Dynasty

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kidd & Cesaro defeated The Rhodes Dynasty in 8:06 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Goldust by pinfall with an Elbow Drop. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker announce that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the Uso’s will challenge Kidd and Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Tornado Tag Team match where all four Superstars will be legal at all times and no tags will need to be made.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Ted DiBiase preparing for tonight’s main event when DiBiase looks into the camera and says that tonight he will beat Wade Barrett to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Rating: D-

Ryback versus Erick Rowan

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Ryback defeated Erick Rowan in 8:04 by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. A member of the Wyatt Family, Erick Rowan acted like an Evil Doer throughout the match.

Match Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find the former WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso discussing their upcoming Tornado Tag Team match against Kidd and Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championships at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, and the Uso’s seem confident.

Rating: D+

Christian versus Darren Young

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Darren Young defeated Christian in 8:28 by pinfall with a Heat Wave. Christian seemed off his game tonight which led to Darren Young getting the win.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to find Drake Younger in the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle. Younger complains to Hornswoggle that he wants more opportunities, and Hornswoggle says he will think about it.

Rating: E-

Kofi Kingston versus Jimmy Jacobs

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kofi Kingston defeated Jimmy Jacobs in 8:14 by pinfall with an S.O.S. The commentary team note that Kingston may be looking to get back into a title hunt.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Ryback in the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle demanding a shot at the Intercontinental title when the Wyatt Family of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan once again walk into the room and just stare at Ryback and Hornswoggle.

Rating: D-

We cut backstage to find Jey Uso coming out of the toilet when Tyson Kidd, Antonio Cesaro, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady rush into the room and attack Jey until Jimmy Uso, Stardust and Goldust come to the rescue. The WWE Tag Team Champions Kidd and Cesaro were clearly trying to weaken Jey before their title match at Extreme Rules.

Rating: E+

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Ted DiBiase

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Wade Barrett defeated Ted DiBiase in 12:43 by pinfall with The Wasteland. Wade Barrett makes defence number 8 of his WWE Intercontinental title. The commentary team ponder who may be able to beat Barrett.

Match Rating: C

http://www.pwmania.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/wwe-nxt.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s NXT Falling Apart:

NXT Championship: Justin Gabriel © versus Curtis Axel

The main event of tonight’s NXT live special, NXT Falling Apart, will see Justin Gabriel put the NXT Championship on the line against the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Curtis Axel. Justin Gabriel is approaching a full year as NXT Champion after he won the title last May from the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins, and is now the longest reigning NXT Champion in the history of NXT. In that time Justin Gabriel has made seven successful title defences, the most recent of those coming last month at NXT 100,000 Years when Gabriel defeated Colt Cabana. After winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship earlier this year on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown and then losing it just two days later at the Royal Rumble, Axel was nowhere to be found until last month’s NXT 100,000 Years event when Curtis Axel returned to where it all began for him, NXT, no longer associated with his former manager Paul Heyman. Axel’s impressive victory over 3MB member Drew McIntyre last month has led to the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette awarding Axel with tonight’s title opportunity in a match that should see the NXT Universe inside what is sure to be a sold out NXT Arena very entertained as both Superstars look to leave with the NXT Championship.

NXT Tag Team Titles: NXT Women’s Champ Eve Torres & Charlotte © vs. Sasha Banks & Naomi

The NXT Tag Team Champions, comprised of the NXT Women’s Champion Eve Torres and her partner Charlotte, will put their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line tonight against the team of Sasha Banks and Naomi. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette introduced the NXT Tag Team Championships last September along with the announcement that both males as well as females would be eligible to challenge for the titles and Eve Torres and Charlotte, known to the NXT Universe as “Team Brilliance”, then defeated Hailey Hatred and Christina Von Eerie to become the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions. Since then Eve and Charlotte have gone on to make two successful title defences, the most recent of which coming at February’s NXT Day of the Underdog event with a win over Evie and Summer Rae.

NXT Arena Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Kalisto

A former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Ezekiel Jackson made his first appearance on NXT back in January at NXT Downward Spiral when he defeated Adam Pearce to become only the second ever NXT Arena Champion. Since then Ezekiel Jackson has made two successful title defences with the most recent coming at last month’s NXT 100,000 Years with a win over Wesley Blake. Tonight Ezekiel Jackson will put the title on the line against the high-flier Kalisto.

Kevin Owens versus Sin Cara

Tonight at NXT Falling Apart the NXT Universe inside what is sure to be a sold out NXT Arena will witness the debut of Kevin Owens. Though to be a genuine Bad Ass, Kevin Owens will compete in his first ever match on NXT tonight as he will take on the masked Sin Cara.

Quick Picks:

NXT Championship: Justin Gabriel © versus Curtis Axel

NXT Tag Team Titles: NXT Women’s Champ Eve Torres & Charlotte © vs. Sasha Banks & Naomi

NXT Arena Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Kalisto

<strong>NXT Falling Apart (Live from Gainesville Civic Center (GA) 715 in Attendance)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NXT Tag Team Titles: NXT Women’s Champ Eve Torres & Charlotte © vs. Sasha Banks & Naomi</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Team Brilliance defeated Sasha Banks and Naomi in 8:06 when Charlotte defeated Naomi by pinfall with a Bow Down to the Queen. Team Brilliance make defence number three of their NXT Tag Team Championships. Tonight’s live NXT special kicks off with the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette at his position at the broadcast table welcoming tonight’s television audience to the show, NXT Falling Apart. Jim Cornette comes across as slightly Annoying on commentary and often boasts about his authority position within NXT. The NXT Tag Team Champions, the NXT Women’s Champion Eve Torres and her partner Charlotte, known to the NXT Universe as “Team Brilliance”, then make their way to the ring. Sasha Banks and Naomi then make their way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena. Eve Torres competes in the match as somewhat of an Every-Man, utilizing her mixed variety of in-ring skills as the most experienced Diva in the match having spent years competing in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown before coming to NXT as well as being a former WWE Divas Champion in addition to the current NXT Women’s Champion. Charlotte comes across as the Girl-Next-Door but is of course the daughter of the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. The challengers, the odd teaming of Sasha Banks and Naomi, put up a good fight here in the hopes of picking up the all-important victory and leaving with the NXT Tag Team Championships. Naomi is a former professional Dancer and pulled off many of her dance moves in between competing tonight in a match that saw the NXT Universe firmly more and more in support of the challengers as the match went on. Sasha Banks in particular impressed and showed that she is a Legitimate Athlete. All four of these Divas would love the opportunity to challenge for the Divas Championship and we learnt this past week on Monday Night RAW that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the Divas Champion Nikki Bella will put her title on the line in a Submission match against former NXT alumni Audrey Marie. Eve Torres and Charlotte will be hoping that a long title reign will gain the attentions of both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle. Indeed, Eve and Charlotte retain here after Charlotte pins Naomi following her signature Bow Down to the Queen maneuver.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NXT Arena Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Kalisto</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ezekiel Jackson defeated Kalisto in 12:32 by pinfall with a Book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel Jackson makes defence number three of his NXT Arena Championship. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette notes on commentary that our next match will see the NXT Arena Championship on the line which leads to the reigning and defending NXT Arena Champion Ezekiel Jackson making his way to the ring to a largely negative reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena. The masked Kalisto receives a more welcoming reaction as he makes his way to the ring and this match gets underway. Both of these competitors have experience of competing in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster with Ezekiel Jackson being a former Intercontinental Champion but last competing on Friday Night SmackDown last May, almost a year ago. Kalisto, on the other hand, toured with the main roster from June to October of last year without ever making a televised appearance. Kalisto wears a hooded mask tonight that makes him look a bit like a member of the KKK but it is the Bad Ass, Ezekiel Jackson that gets the win tonight to retain his title.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kevin Owens versus Sin Cara</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kevin Owens defeated Sin Cara in 17:45 by pinfall with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette announces on commentary that we are about to see a signing that he personally made make his debut inside the sold out NXT Arena. Kevin Owens then makes his way to the ring to a mixed reception from the NXT Universe in attendance which is followed by a more favorable reaction to the masked Sin Cara. The luchador Sin Cara tries to use more aggression in this match against the much larger Kevin Owens, acting a bit like a “Gangsta”. However, Kevin Owens, just like Ezekiel Jackson in the last match, is a bonafide Bad Ass and after a lengthy and competitive match Kevin Owens finally puts Sin Cara away with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.</p><p>

<strong>NXT Championship: Justin Gabriel © versus Curtis Axel</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Curtis Axel defeated Justin Gabriel in 12:43 by pinfall with a Perfect-Plex. Curtis Axel wins the NXT Championship. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette notes on commentary that our main event will see the NXT Championship on the line and the challenger Curtis Axel then makes his way to the ring to a great ovation from the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena. The NXT Champion Justin Gabriel then joins Axel in the ring and our main event is under-way. With Curtis Axel being a former WWE World Heavyweight, WWE Intercontinental and WWE Tag Team Champion, and Gabriel a former WWE Tag Team Champion, both of these Superstars are already proven to be able to get the job done. Curtis Axel is a third-Generation Superstar and is able to get the win here to prove he may be Generation Next, and Generation NXT, and the show goes off the air with Curtis Axel celebrating his title victory.</p><p>

http://www.targetcenter.com/assets/img/WWE_RAW_LIVE_DEC_2014_SPOTLIGHT-NEW.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Randy Orton

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar in action as he will take on Randy Orton in a non-title match. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Brock Lesnar will put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Street Fight against Seth Rollins and for the past few weeks on RAW we have seen Seth Rollins adamantly tell both Lesnar as well as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he will leave Extreme Rules as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The WWE Universe are in for a historic main event tonight on RAW as Brock Lesnar takes on Randy Orton for the very first time. Brock Lesnar’s in-ring mentor Billy Gunn has not been seen with Lesnar for the past few weeks but has likely been working with Lesnar behind the scenes and will no doubt have some tips for Lesnar as Brock looks to pick up the all-important victory tonight to build momentum heading into his Street Fight with Seth Rollins this Sunday.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Brodus Clay versus Alexander Rusev

Sheamus will once again put his WWE United States Championship on the line tonight on Monday Night RAW in a Triple Threat match against both Brodus Clay as well as Alexander Rusev. After the NXT Championship changed hands this past Saturday night with Curtis Axel defeating Justin Gabriel to become the new NXT Champion, Sheamus is now the longest reigning current Champion in all of WWE and NXT.

Johnny Gargano and Tajiri versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see Roman Reigns and William Regal, former WWE Tag Team Champions, take on the team of Johnny Gargano and Tajiri who will be teaming up for the very first time tonight on RAW. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Roman Reigns will be taking on Kane in a Steel Cage match with Reigns having continued to attack Kane for the past few weeks on RAW.

Sami Zayn versus John Cena

Sami Zayn will return to Monday Night RAW for the first time since last November when he defeated Solomon Crowe tonight as he will take on John Cena. We last saw Sami Zayn in action back in February when he challenged Justin Gabriel for the NXT Championship in a losing effort at NXT’s Day of the Underdog event.

Dean Ambrose versus Kenny King

The unpredictable Dean Ambrose will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW when he will take on Kenny King. Dean Ambrose has been helping his friend and tag team partner Kane in recent weeks but Ambrose will be looking to get the win in singles competition tonight.

WWE Divas Champ Nikki Bella, Brie Bella & Ayako Hamada vs. Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix & Kharma

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see a huge Six-Diva tag team match as the WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella will team up with her twin sister Brie Bella as well as the Diva from the Orient, Ayako Hamada against the trio of Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Audrey Marie will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship in a Submission match. The numbers will likely be on Audrey Marie’s side tonight on RAW as she will probably have her good friend Rain in her corner. The WWE Universe should be behind the Bella Twins and Ayako Hamada for this one.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Randy Orton

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Brodus Clay versus Alexander Rusev

Johnny Gargano and Tajiri versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

<em>Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Billy Gunn says that this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View his good friend and protégé Brock Lesnar will put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Street Fight against Seth Rollins. However, before his title defence this Sunday, the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has booked Brock Lesnar in tonight’s non-title main event against a Superstar that Brock Lesnar has never faced, Randy Orton. Billy Gunn advises Seth Rollins to watch what Brock Lesnar does to the multiple time former World Champion Randy Orton in tonight’s main event and think what more Lesnar can do in a Street Fight this Sunday. Billy Gunn says that Seth Rollins may have been the first ever NXT Champion and may have beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to end the Undertaker’s legendary Wrestlemania undefeated streak, but that Brock Lesnar is not ready to let the future become the present just yet. Seth Rollins then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own and says that he will leave the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this Sunday as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.</em></p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

The Great Khali versus Alberto Del Rio

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see two former World Champions go head to head as the Great Khali will take on Alberto Del Rio. This match certainly has an international flavor about it with Khali being from India and Alberto Del Rio hailing from Mexico. Both of these Superstars will be doing their all to pick up the all-important victory tonight to impress the WWE Universe in attendance as well as members of WWE management such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley take on the young pairing of Danny Burch and Troy McClain. All eyes in the tag team division will be on the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this Sunday when Jimmy and Jey Uso will challenge Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Tornado tag team match. Brodus Clay in particular will be looking to bounce back with a win tonight after failing to win the WWE United States Championship this past week on Monday Night RAW.

Alexa Bliss versus Maxine

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see Alexa Bliss take on Maxine. Both of these Divas would love the opportunity to one day challenge for the Divas Championship and as well as the rest of the Divas division will no doubt be watching the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this Sunday very closely when Audrey Marie will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas title in a Submission match.

Quick Picks:

The Great Khali versus Alberto Del Rio

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring joined by his mentor Billy Gunn. http://www.isportstimes.com/data/images/full/2013/04/26/4260-wwe-friday-night-smackdown.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Christian

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Wade Barrett put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Christian. Barrett became the Intercontinental Champion for the fifth time in his career back on an episode of SmackDown back in February and since then Barrett has gone on to make eight successful title defences, including a win over Mark Henry at Wrestlemania and most recently a win over Ted DiBiase in last week’s SmackDown main event. The “Cheeky Monkey” Christian, who always likes to makes jokes with other Superstars as well as members of the WWE Universe, suffered a setback last week when he lost to Darren Young of the Prime Time Players. A former four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion himself, Christian would love nothing more than to pick up the all-important victory over Barrett tonight and leave SmackDown as the Intercontinental Champion once again but in order to do that he must find a way to defeat Wade Barrett, who as a former bare-knuckle fighter may well be the World’s Most Dangerous Man.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro versus The Rhodes Dynasty

This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro will put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line in a Tornado tag team match against the former Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso. This Sunday with Tornado tag team rules, all four Superstars will be legal at the same time and tags will not need to be made. Before then, however, Kidd and Cesaro will take on Stardust and Goldust of the Rhodes Dynasty in a non-title regular tag team match tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

Ryback versus Fandango

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown we saw Ryback storm into the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and demand a shot at the Intercontinental title only for the Wyatt Family of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper to walk into the room and stare at Ryback and Hornswoggle. Tonight Ryback will take on Fandango.

Kofi Kingston versus Konnor

The high-flying Kofi Kingston will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Konnor with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe in attendance as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle.

Mark Henry versus CJ Parker

At Wrestlemania last month Mark Henry failed to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Wade Barrett but tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Mark Henry will look to prove that he is still a dominant force when he takes on CJ Parker.

Hailey Hatred versus Tamina

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Hailey Hatred take on Tamina. Both of these Divas will have their eyes on the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this Sunday when Nikki Bella will put her Divas title on the line against Audrey Marie in a Submission match.

Quick Picks:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Christian

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro versus The Rhodes Dynasty

Ryback versus Fandango

Kofi Kingston versus Konnor

Mark Henry versus CJ Parker

Wade Barrett says that Christian may be a former four-time Intercontinental Champion but that Barrett is still in his fifth reign as Intercontinental Champion, and has held the title more times than Christian. Barrett says that he has some bad news for Christian. Barrett says that he is a better Intercontinental Champion than Christian ever was, and that his career has more fortune ahead of him whereas Christian’s time is clearly up. Barrett says that Christian should have realized that it’s time to call it a day last week on SmackDown when he lost to Darren Young of the Prime Time Players. WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Street Fight: Brock Lesnar © versus Seth Rollins

In July of 2012 Seth Rollins won the Gold Rush tournament, defeating 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the tournament finals, to become the first ever NXT Champion. Seth Rollins would very quickly become a fan favourite among the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena and went on to make twelve successful title defences as NXT Champion before losing the title to Justin Gabriel back in May of last year. The next month Seth Rollins would debut on the main WWE roster and got his first chance to compete in front of the WWE Universe. Fast forward nine months to Wrestlemania just a few weeks ago and Seth Rollins made history when he defeated the Undertaker to end the Undertaker’s legendary Wrestlemania undefeated streak. The very next night on Monday Night RAW Seth Rollins interrupted the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and said that he should be the next in line to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and it was confirmed later on that night that Rollins would challenge Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Street Fight tonight at Extreme Rules. Seth Rollins will no doubt do all he can to pick up the all-important victory tonight in a match that will see no disqualifications, no count-outs, and pinfall and submissions being legal anywhere in the arena, and even outside the arena if Rollins and Lesnar fight outside. However, if Rollins is to leave with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he will have to defeat the “Beast” Brock Lesnar, the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the only Superstar to hold the title on two separate occasions. Lesnar has won every single match that he has participated in for over a year, a record which thus far stands at over twenty-three consecutive victories. Lesnar will also likely be accompanied to ringside tonight by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn for what should be a highly competitive and potentially dangerous main event for the richest prize in the industry.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Tornado Tag Match: Tyson Kidd & Antonio Cesaro © vs. The Uso’s

Back on Friday Night SmackDown a few weeks ago Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro defeated Jimmy and Jey Uso in the main event to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time as a team. Tonight the two-time WWE Tag Team Champions the Uso’s will be using their contractually obligated rematch to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Tornado Tag Team match in which all four Superstars will be legal competitors at all times and tags will not need to be made.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Randy Orton

Sheamus is the longest running current Champion in all of the WWE and NXT after holding the WWE United States Championship since last July when he won the title on Monday Night RAW and since then Sheamus has made twenty-one successful title defences, including a singles victory over Alexander Rusev at Wrestlemania and most recently a Triple Threat win over Rusev and Brodus Clay this past week on Monday Night RAW. It was following this win that Randy Orton would come to the ring and RKO Sheamus before announcing that he would join Rusev in challenging Sheamus for the title in another Triple Threat match tonight that should once again see Michael Hayes at ringside in support of his client Alexander Rusev.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Last Man Standing Match: Wade Barrett © versus Ryback

For the past several weeks Ryback has been seen in the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle demanding a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship and this past week it was granted and tonight Ryback will challenge Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental title in a Last Man Standing match in which the only way to win his to keep your opponent down for the count of ten.

Steel Cage Match: Kane versus Roman Reigns

A Steel Cage match tonight will see the masked former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Kane take on Roman Reigns. The only ways to win this match will be by pinfall, submission or escaping the cage either through the door or over the top. For the past few months Roman Reigns has been attacking Kane on Monday Night RAW claiming that he needs to put down the “dinosaur” Kane before going on to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Roman Reigns scored a victory over Kane at Wrestlemania and will look to do so again in a match that will see the two settle their issues without their tag team partners William Regal or Dean Ambrose able to get involved.

First Blood Match: Dean Ambrose versus John Cena

This past week on Monday Night RAW in a WWE.com exclusive we saw Dean Ambrose and John Cena get into a brawl backstage that had to be separated by officials and it was announced by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that these two Superstars will face off tonight in a First Blood match in which the only way to win is by forcing your opponent to bleed.

WWE Divas Championship: Submission Match: Nikki Bella © versus Audrey Marie

Finally, Audrey Marie will once again challenge Nikki Bella for the WWE Divas Championship in a Submission match tonight at Extreme Rules. Nikki Bella beat Audrey Marie to retain her title at Wrestlemania in a regular match but only after she switched places with her twin sister Brie Bella behind the referee’s back. Both Brie as well as Audrey Marie’s close friend Rain will likely be at ringside during this one.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Alberto Del Rio defeated The Great Khali in 12:41 by submission with a Cross Armbreaker. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Khali wrestle.

Post-Show: Alex Riley versus Mojo Rawlings

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Braden Walker

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will see Wade Barrett put the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Braden Walker. The Englishman Wade Barrett is currently enjoying his fifth reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion that began back in February on Friday Night SmackDown when he beat Ryback as well as the former Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match. Since then Barrett has made ten successful title defences, including most recently defeating Ryback in a Last Man Standing match this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. With there being no rest for the wicked, however, the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announced earlier this week on Twitter that Barrett will put his title on the line tonight against a Superstar that should have the WWE Universe on his side, Braden Walker. This will be Braden Walker’s third title shot in recent weeks and will be looking to do all he can to pick up the all-important victory and leave as the new Intercontinental Champion.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Antonio Cesaro vs. Trent Barreta & Yoshi Tatsu

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro take on the high-flying team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu in a non-title match. This past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the WWE Tag Team Champions Kidd and Cesaro retained their titles against the former WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso in a Tornado Tag Team match.

Ryback versus The Miz

Ryback failed in his quest to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View when the “Big Guy” Ryback lost to Wade Barrett in their Last Man Standing match. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Ryback will look to bounce back as he takes on the Miz.

R-Truth versus Damien Sandow

R-Truth will take on Damien Sandow tonight on Friday Night SmackDown with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe in attendance as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle.

Christian versus Alberto Del Rio

Two former World Champions will go head to head tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as Christian will take on Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio will be looking for a second win in as many nights after he defeated the Great Khali last night on WWE Superstars.

Christina Von Eerie versus Rain

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Christina Von Eerie take on Rain. This past week on Monday Night RAW Audrey Marie told the Divas Champion Nikki Bella that it was about time her good friend Rain got a shot at the Divas title.

Quick Picks:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Braden Walker

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Antonio Cesaro vs. Trent Barreta & Yoshi Tatsu

Ryback versus The Miz

R-Truth versus Damien Sandow

Christian versus Alberto Del Rio

Christina Von Eerie versus Rain

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month. This is the final show of this month’s contest and the overall winner will be able to pick the challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming WWE No Way Out Pay-Per-View!)

<em>Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett making his way to the ring. Barrett receives a tirade of boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Barrett says that this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he beat that big muscle-head Ryback in their Last Man Standing match and is still the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Barrett says that earlier this week on Twitter of all places the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announced that Barrett will be putting his title on the line in tonight’s main event against Braden Walker of all people. Barrett says that whilst the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero made an all-star US title match this past week on RAW that saw John Cena beat Sheamus to become the new US Champion, Barrett has to face a loser like Braden Walker tonight. Barrett continues that he’s already beaten Braden Walker to retain his title twice in the last month on SmackDown as well as beating Braden Walker’s shell of a tag team partner Ted DiBiase. Wade Barrett says that he is the World’s Most Dangerous Man and that there is nobody on this planet that can take the Intercontinental Championship from him and he will prove that again in tonight’s main event.</em></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kidd & Cesaro defeated Trent & Yoshi in 7:57 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with an Elbow Drop. Trent Barreta seemed off his game tonight which led to the WWE Tag Team Champions Kidd and Cesaro focusing their offence on Trent for the majority of the match before Cesaro finally pinned him following a Tyson Kidd Elbow Drop.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Wade Barrett defeated Braden Walker in 12:57 by pinfall with The Wasteland. Wade Barrett makes defence number 11 of his WWE Intercontinental title. <strong>Match Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Post-Show: Ted DiBiase versus Fandango</strong></p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus William Regal

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar in action as he will take on the veteran William Regal in a non-title match. Brock Lesnar came to the ring last week to begin last week’s episode of RAW and told the WWE Universe that he single-handedly beat Seth Rollins in their Street Fight at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the night before to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but that he also wanted to thank his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn for his help and advice behind the scenes. Roman Reigns would then come to the entrance-way and announce that he had been informed by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he will challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Tonight Lesnar will go one on one with the tag team partner of Roman Reigns, William Regal, with the crafty veteran looking to not only pick up the all-important victory but also potentially injure the Champion prior to his title defence against Reigns.

Kane and Dean Ambrose versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Kane and Dean Ambrose take on the 3MB pairing of Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. The third member of 3MB, Jinder Mahal, may well not be too far from proceedings during this match. Last week on Monday Night RAW Kane suffered a curb stomp backstage at the hands of Seth Rollins after the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero had told Rollins earlier in the evening to impress her.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion John Cena versus Chris Jericho

Last week on Monday Night RAW John Cena defeated Sheamus to become the new United States Champion for the fourth time in his career and we learnt later on in the week on WWE.com that Sheamus will have his rematch with Cena at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Tonight Cena will take on Chris Jericho in non-title action.

Batista versus Kassius Ohno

Kassius Ohno makes his return to Monday Night RAW tonight for the first time competing as a singles competitor after his tag team partner Antonio Cesaro left Ohno to join forces with Tyson Kidd, with the pair quickly becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions. Tonight Ohno will take on Batista.

Rob Van Dam versus Randy Orton

Two former WWE Champions will go head to head tonight on Monday Night RAW as Rob Van Dam will take on Randy Orton with both Superstars looking to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero with a victory.

WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella, Brie Bella & Kaitlyn versus Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix & Kharma

Six-Diva tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella team up with her twin sister Brie Bella as well as the former Divas Champion Kaitlyn to take on the team of Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix and Kharma. Last week on RAW Audrey Marie said that it was about time that her good friend Rain got a shot at the Divas title and it was confirmed last week on Friday Night SmackDown that Rain will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas title at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View later this month. Tonight will be Kaitlyn’s first match on RAW in over a year following a spell in NXT.
