Great Show Doctor!

I really like the presentation and also the renders you are using. It's really fleshed out with all of the articles and their layouts.

Also, LOL at The Force, that guy is nuts.

I hope you keep this going for a while, good luck.

As Chubbs Peterson once sung in Happy Gilmore "We've only just begun." I have a number of long term plans in place which should keep things ticking over. In the first few months I'm probably looking to introduce 3 maybe 4 new in ring talents. A few that are ring ready and at least one pet project. But other than that, I don't plan on getting rid of many of the old faces (although some are inevitable).

It would be too easy to come in and hire 20 amazing wrestlers and completely change what USPW is all about. Change needs to be organic; Evolution not Revolution I always say; if it feels like it happens naturally over time then it doesn't feel like you've used Sam Strong to get The Keith Brothers and Mainstream Hernandez to Main Event Level (not that I would rule them out completely mind).

But as I say, thank you so much for the support. It's spurred me on to finish writing my third show already.

The Force may seem to be on the periphery for now, but I do have plans for him going forward. A little rebrand to amp up his character even more. It should be fun and COULD mean a renewed push in the future (although unlikely to challange for any titles). I feel a few cool promos coming on.

Extatic to have you on board and I am glad you're enjoying my out of ring segments. I don't plan of lumping a whole load of posts on one day all that often; my intention was to spread them out but once I'd started, I just wanted to get the card up. I should really have held back on posting my news sections after the show but that's something I can look to do going forward.

Thank you for your enthusiasm; it really helps when writing.

Following this man keep up the good work also I'm a big Nicky Champion fan ( one my few fav from the c-verse) just the last name Champion is perfect for wrestling

Although he doesn't have the overness yet, Nicky Champion is supposed to be Sam Strong reborn. As such, I can't see him suffering many clean losses even if he's not holding the title. I have a plan that should (hopefully) mean that I can get him a good level of Overness going forward so I can start using more than Sam to boost ratings.

As I've said to everyone else, thank you so much for your support.

Man you are doing so well with this!! Jealousy is an illness, and I sure hope I get well soon :( lol!!

I really liked Patel's Network Perspective... and I'm very intrigued by a couple of storylines you have going... I have no idea who Sam Strong's opponent will be... or how that match will turn out... And I'm also interested to see what happens between Java and Tribal Warrior... I can see Andre Jones possibly unifying the Titles and becoming Champion? But if he loses next week, perhaps not...

Both storylines are unique... and not like anything I've seen before, so very well done on that. Keep up the good work man, and I'll keep following :)

Just wondering, and you may have already mentioned this somewhere, but will you be running prediction contests at all?

First things first; I just want to say a huge thank you to ANYONE who has voted for me in the Monthly Spotlight poll. As of posting I have 25% of the vote and am currently second. This is HUGE for me especially being so close to the start of this project. It means a hell of a lot.

Now... Onto the newest comments!

Let me guess...

Captain Atomic cleared the locker room with a Mushroom Cloud of atomic gas? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

As for The Cold Warriors...who becomes American first? Peter Novak or Billy Jack Shearer? <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Haha; if anyone could clear a locker room I would say it would be the Atomic one! Bare in mind, I have noted in the past that some of these links will be the usual "red herrings" whereas some will actually have some truth so, it's always worth keeping an eye on these tidbits of information.

You know something, I got a shock when I got the chemistry note for the Cold Warriors. It was only a "poor" chemisty note so there is the potential to keep them together and keep them mainly in angles and the odd match, but that's something I've got time to think about whilst continuing to book. As for who would turn American first? Well, that's an interesting thought. Thus far, Novak hasn't spoken so it could be easier to make him a "Eastern European Heritage" who actually is American. But we'll have to wait and see!

Captain Atomic didn't want to job.

My money is on Jack. Heels always have a bigger upside and Novak has quite a lot of potential.

That could also be a possibility; but to be fair, it's only 2 weeks in, in game so Atomic is still pretty low in the pecking order.

Again, another great point. Although he wasn't labeled "The Big Flop" for nothing...

Man you are doing so well with this!! Wow... That's a pretty big compliment right there, so thank you for that!

Patel will have his say once a month, whether that be after a recent pay-per-view or after a particularly big event in USPW. I don't want to over-expose it, but I'm glad you enjoyed the column. I found it came easy and could have continued on and on, but I didn't want to make it like reading another show.

As for the stories, well, it's great to hear someone say a story you're developing is unique. It's not always easy to come up with something brand new in this realm, especially with so many great writers.

The Sam Strong story is one that I had planned from the get go, events in game helped it move along at a nice pace and gave me a really good chance to establish Manish Patel as the main voice of USPW. Unfortunately, Patel hasn't felt the benefit overness-wise that I had hoped he would get working with Sam Strong week in week out.

I also wanted to put across Patel's sense of network pride. That's what I wanted to do with the Savage Fury storyline; I wanted to try and get across that Patel doesn't like this pair of raw, brutal, uncouth superstars as Champions, representing USPW even if it is just the midcard championships.

As for Jones? Well he's being used by Patel, clearly. Being used with the intention to take the championship(s) from either of Savage Fury. This has two obvious paths that it could take, could Jones rebel against his abuse, or could he actually win the championships? Could there be a third direction that he could go down? Well, we'll see wont we?

As for a prediction contest, I hadn't really thought about it. I'm trying not to advertise my cards in advance, but that is obviously not the case for Pay Per Views. Matches are almost always announced in advance, so I could well run a prediction contest running into the PPV with a prize involved.

Thank you for your support Lloyd; it's really appreciated.

As a side note; I have revamped the roster/champions/teams/articles sections. I've actually moved away from the direct posts from earlier and have extended the USPW.com experience. You can now browse the site for roster updates, tag teams, champions and a list of articles.

The shows will not be posted on USPW.com as I want to keep these as a seperate entity, I want these to feel as though you're actually witnessing the shows rather than reading about them on a website.

Roster Section - The superstars names are shown when you hover your mouse over their picture.

Alliances - Tag teams and stables are stored in this section.

Champions - Current Champions and title history from the beginning of gameplay are stored here.

Articles - All articles are stored in this area; the most recent at the top.

As per the shows, the total wrestling columns will remain seperate and more basic as to be written and created by fans rather than professionals.

I hope this will help the experiance and will give a "one-stop-shop" for all things USPW.

USPW.com

Edit: I decided to update Total Wrestling.com too...

TotalWrestling.com

I have to echo the comments from everyone that you are doing a fantastic job with this diary. I have always loved USPW but your presentation is top notch. Keep up the great work, in my opinion your story is better than anything currently on TV today. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Notes: Ok... So... In Theory; you should be able to navigate the above like a full browser. The experiance, as it is, is that you're watching the show "On Demand" and you want to watch the lastest episode. When you're done, from the same window you should be able to access all sites and content from the one window using navigation. In theory, the back and forward buttons should work too.

I would appreciate it, as this is a work in process, if any issues arise about incorrect links/information etc. is sent to me by PM. I don't want the thread to become just about the site.

Other than that; enjoy!

I've worked on them over the last few days and I get the impression I'm probably going to keep working on them as we go along; it's fun to have another side to writing diaries away from "Book-Write-Repeat". This has helped motivate me, plus the ongoing stories and plans always give you the want to carry on.

One mistake I've made in the past is think out a story too far ahead, meaning I want to get to that "pay-off" moment without enjoying the journey. The "Browsers" help with that.

This is a great start. I absolutely love the web pages, it's something I've always considered doing, except I'm too lazy to actually code it up and to actually do a dynasty, but seeing it in action tells me that it wasn't just a great idea in theory!

One way you could do it so that it feels likes it own browser is to make the actual browsers page back/forward buttons work, using JavaScript.

Thank you Ray! I took your advice! I saw your comments and immediately was inspired to make the most interactive "browser" I could. I actually found more functional browsers that you could design but the look of them wasn't quite the same. I'll keep experimenting though. Plus it takes away a lot of the duplication when it comes to posting shows when you can update single pages that change in every window so that's good too.

The last show is above; we've just got one show left until we reach Stars, Stripes and Slams. I hope I can continue to live up to the presentation.

One last thing; as of posting this message I'm currently just in the lead for the Monthly Spotlight; I just want to say a huge thank you to Occasional_Z for the original nomination and everyone else who reads this thread for your votes. It means a lot for such a new project.
