Tough break on zero championships.

I won 3 with an Arnie Risen 3 peat(4 time DPoty) in an earlier version of the game. Unfortunately in that version players regressed very quickly and his max contract really started to hurt towards the end when teams had studs like Petit and Sharman. I went on like a decade long drought and stopped.

It's not as easy as it seems and can rely on a bit of luck.

Really like your mid-late 70s team. Bobby Jones is a beast in this game.

Thanks. Yes Bobby Jones is one of my favorites in the game. I was watching the Dr.J documentary and they mentioned him as one of the best defensive players in league history (which I didn't know). He was a reach at my draft position but he was really worth it.

I'm into the 2000s and still no championships. I'm playing this play through with trades off, no financials, and no tanking. Rebuilding is more luck than anything else but it's great fun when I had assembled a contending team. Really just never had any luck in the playoffs and terrible injuries at key moments in my best seasons.

Or is this actually in the game?

This is just an excel spreadsheet that I keep track of my teams and league history.
