In Game Notepad

I know it's never going to be used as much as in TEW, but I like to work out how much XP I need for each level to go up 50 points, and then go up 50 points at a time. I keep track by keeping this information in a notepad file. If we had an in game notepad, that would be very handy.

I wouldn't mind having one for my diary. I do my writing as I'm playing so it'd be useful not to have to keep tabbing back and forth.

To be fair, an in-game notepad is never going to be as useful as simply having Windows Notepad open.

 

Even if it was accessible from every single screen in the entire game, you'd still have to open and close it all the time, instead of just bringing up your existing notepad document (even if you're running at a low resolution and WS3 fills the screen, that's still only an alt-tab away).

 

Diff'rent stroke for diff'rent folks I guess, but I find having a notepad doc open in the background far superior.

You're right, but I often forget to save my notepad file (because I can sometimes be slightly dim), meaning when I next open up the game, I have to do all the working out again. I know this only takes a few minutes, but.. Well, you know.

Another nuisance is then having to find the .txt file each time I want to play, or saving it on my desktop.
