solidliquid777
Hello, this is my first ever attempt at writing dynasty so I hope you like it. I'll probably screw up the formatting, so any advice would be awesome. I'll be playing WCW starting in December 1997 using Genadi's Montreal Aftermath. Anyway, enjoy! WCW To Get a New Head Booker http://i881.photobucket.com/albums/ac19/solidliquid777/Logos/WCW.jpg The wrestling world has been rocked by the shocking announcement that Eric Bischoff has been removed from his position as the head writer of WCW. It is believed that this decision was reached by WCW higher ups as they were displeased with Bischoff's plan for Starrcade and in particular his planned use of newest WCW signee Bret Hart. Notably several of the younger workers in WCW let it be known they were glad to see the back of Bischoff. A replacement is expected to be announced shortly with expectation running wild. Bishcoff will remain as an onscreen talent for the foreseeable future. http://i881.photobucket.com/albums/ac19/solidliquid777/Roster/Dutch_Mantell.jpg WCW Appoint Dutch Mantell WCW have announced that industry veteran Dutch Mantell has been appointed to the position of head booker. Mantell, a 24 year pro, is most famous for his work in Memphis and in Puerto Rico, where he was recently in charge for a short spell. This obviously proved enough for those in WCW. Mantell has made it known that he wants a heavy emphasis on matches and less on angles. It is widely believed that following Starrcade, Mantell will seek to quickly trim the massively bloated WCW roster.

Jaysin
WCW Nitro W1 Dec 1997 Randy Savage w/Elizabeth vs. Ric Flair Comment: No real reasoning behind this. Curt Hennig w/Rick Rude vs. Rey Misterio Jnr. Comment: As much as I love Rey, he doesn't stand a chance. Booker T w/Jacqueline Moore vs. Ernest Miller Comment: Ernest shouldn't be pushed. The Public Enemy vs. The Steiner Bros. Comment: Please...lol WCW World Television Championship Fit Finlay vs. Perry Saturn [c] Comment: Finlay is awesome, but Saturn deserves a solid run. Number 1 Contender to the WCW Cruiserweight Championship Dean Malenko vs. Ultimo Dragon Comment: These two had some of WCW's best matches period, but I'm an unabashed Dragon fan. w4lru5
Randy Savage w/Elizabeth vs. Ric Flair Comment: I'm guessing nWo interference costs Flair here. Curt Hennig w/Rick Rude vs. Rey Misterio Jnr. Comment: You don't say if this is for the title or not. I'm picking Hennig, but I hope Rey Rey gets a good push. Booker T w/Jacqueline Moore vs. Ernest Miller Comment: Booker is the present and the future. Can you dig it, sucka? The Public Enemy vs. The Steiner Bros. Comment: Tag champs and arguably your best team even if they weren't. WCW World Television Championship Fit Finlay vs. Perry Saturn [c] Comment: Too early in the diary for a title change, I suspect. Number 1 Contender to the WCW Cruiserweight Championship Dean Malenko vs. Ultimo Dragon Comment: I'm going with the unpopular opinion here. I think Ultimo is one of the most underrated WCW cruiserweights.

Wee Bob
<p>Good luck with this. I'm in the process of starting up a diary around this same time period with WCW - using Genaldi's mod also - but hopefully ours will be different enough that folk won't think I'm piggy backing you! </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Randy Savage w/Elizabeth</strong> vs. Ric Flair</p><p> Comment: I know it's tempting to have Flair going over the nWo at the earliest opportunity given how WCW booked him in real life, but if you're continuing his feud with Hennig - which was supposed to happen in real life, 'cept Flair had injury problems - then Hennig costing him the win here would help that.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Curt Hennig w/Rick Rude</strong> vs. Rey Misterio Jnr.</p><p> Comment: As much as Rey Rey was really fun to watch then, he wasn't in the sort of position on the card where he'd make a worthy challenger for the US Champion; especially not one who has unresolved issues with two of the biggest babyfaces in the company in Flair and DDP</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Booker T w/Jacqueline Moore</strong> vs. Ernest Miller</p><p> Comment: Not much to say; Booker was on the rise and The Cat didn't find his funk until a couple years later</p><p> </p><p> The Public Enemy vs. <strong>The Steiner Bros.</strong></p><p> Comment: Should be a straight forward enough squash for the tag team champs</p><p> </p><p> WCW World Television Championship</p><p> Fit Finlay vs. <strong>Perry Saturn [c]</strong></p><p> Comment: Finlay didn't have much of a character or standing in WCW at that point; Saturn's the enforcer of the flock, and a win against a tough opponent like Finlay would do him well.</p><p> </p><p> Number 1 Contender to the WCW Cruiserweight Championship</p><p> <strong>Dean Malenko</strong> vs. Ultimo Dragon </p><p> Comment: Malenko already had clean pinfalls or submission victories over Rey whilst he held the title, and an issue was developing between him and Eddie Guerrero at that point - or Eddy Guerrero, rather - so Malenko winning makes the most sense.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Beejus" data-cite="Beejus" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="37218" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Where did you get the title history info?<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm currently tweeking the data for this same mod for a WCW diary, and I'm referring to Cagematch.net for things like that.
