Sold-Out in front of 6,889 fans!</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Mike Tenay, Taz, and Jim Ross lead into the show, hyping up Zane Nosux becoming the #1 Contender, Matt Morgan trying his hardest to stay in the title picture, and the look of TNA Final Resolution 2014. Currently booked for Final Resolution is AJ Styles defending the TNA World Heavyweight title against Zane Nosux, Velvet Sky defending the TNA Knockouts title against Awesome Kong, and a 20-Man X-Divison Gauntlet for the TNA X-Division Championship, currently held by Homicide. This gauntlet is an attempt to highlight the X-Division's success over the past year, and give every competitor (as well as newcomers) an opportunity to succeed in the X-Division.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Match 1</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Tag Team Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Kaged Animals vs. HayaMoto</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>A solid bout to open the show, where the evil Japanese competitors looked to stop the winning streak of TJ Perkins and "Natural" Vince Kage. In under eight minutes, HayaMoto managed to slip up and Hayashi was caught with the Kage Suplex (Tiger Suplex), which Vince Kage held for the pin. Mike Tenay noted that this victory allows the Kaged Animals for challenge Sick & Twisted for the TNA World Tag Team titles at Final Resolution.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kaged Animals defeated HayaMoto in 7:42 when Vince Kage defeated Hayashi by pinfall with a Kage Suplex.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 55</strong></p><p><strong>

Yamamoto improves Technical & Performance skills, Vince Kage improves Rumble skills.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Match 2</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

John Hennigan vs. Cody Rhodes</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>John Hennigan looked to get back on track from his losing streak with this match, but he faced a completely different animal in Cody Rhodes. Cody, now completely without his tag team partner, was a man possessed. After a good back and forth contest, Rhodes ended it with a Beautiful Disaster after a missed Flying Chuck.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Cody Rhodes defeated John Hennigan in 12:38 by pinfall with The Beautiful Disaster.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 66</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Match 3</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Awesome Kong vs. Angelina Love</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This match was to send a message to Velvet Sky. Kong did just that when she put Love away in under three minutes with the Awesome Bomb.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, Awesome Kong defeated Angelina Love in 2:38 by pinfall with an Implant Buster.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 37</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Match 4</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Six-Man Tag Team Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Homicide & ZeMoore vs. Trent Barreta & Generation Me</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>These six X-Division competitors, all set to be in the gauntlet at Final Resolution, faced off in tag team action. After a loss last week when Homicide and Moore couldn't work together, Moore found his stride with regular tag partner Zema Ion at his side. Generation Me's sibling chemistry couldn't even match such, and Moore put away Trent Barreta with the Mooregasm in under six minutes.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Homicide and ZeMoore defeated Trent Barreta and Generation Me in 5:45 when Shannon Moore defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with a Mooregasm.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 44</strong></p><p><strong>

Max improves Performance skills, Trent improves Technical skills.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Match 5</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Rhino vs. Mr. Anderson</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>These two competitors fought in a good match, where Mr. Anderson looked to gain some momentum, and get a victory, and Rhino looked to prove his dominance. The two different styles matched well, and Mr. Anderson went for the Mic Check in the end. Instead, Rhino landed a Belly-to-Belly Suplex and used the ropes for leverage when pinning Anderson. Anderson was pissed after the match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rhino defeated Mr. Anderson in 13:11 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 65</strong></p><p><strong>

Anderson's Man On A Mission gimmick received an 84 rating, Rhino improves Performance skills.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pre-Main Event</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Willow the Wisp vs. Bobby Roode</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This was another good match, with both men not wanting to let up. Bobby Roode kept slowing the fast pace of Willow and taking things to mat. Things really heating up when Willow landed the Twist of Fate but Christian Cage appeared at ringside. Willow looked confused, but took a dive to the outside to take Christian down. When he slid back in, Roode landed the Payoff for the victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bobby Roode defeated Willow The Wisp in 14:54 by pinfall with a Payoff. During the match we also had Christian Cage run in and attack Willow.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 66</strong></p><p><strong>

Willow improves Technical skills.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Bobby Roode grabs a microphone and talks about how proud he is to gain a victory, as he is clearly "The It Factor" and he deserves everything he gets. He notes that he works for his victories, and is the best in the company. Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes down to the ring. The two get into a battle of words, with Joe saying that Roode hasn't been on top in a long time. Roode notes that he knows what it's like to be with a partner who drags him down, so he is happy that Hennigan made the right decision in ditching Joe and the belts. Joe is pissed and says he will beat Roode at Final Resolution to show him just how important he is.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: 62</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Matt Morgan cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with AJ Styles. He knows that Styles has beat him in the past, but the future is coming for Morgan. He will get his hands on the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Styles can't stop that.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: 76</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Main Event</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

AJ Styles vs. Matt Morgan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Another great battle between these two competitors went on for nearly eighteen minutes. Morgan's strength and power against Styles' speed and prowess was a sight to see. The champion proved why he is such, however, when he kicks out after a Carbon Footprint and lands the Styles Clash, and a Springboard 450 for the victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that featured great action and average heat, AJ Styles defeated Matt Morgan in 17:59 by pinfall with a Springboard 450° Splash.</strong></p><p><strong>

Rating: 80</strong></p><p><strong>

AJ Styles improves Rumble skills.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Zane Nosux slides out from under the ring, while Styles is celebrating on the inside, extremely tired. He pulls a ladder out from under the ring, and slides it in the ring with him. AJ turns around, and Nosux levels him with the ladder. He grabs the TNA World Heavyweight title and sets up the ladder, posing atop the ladder and fallen body of AJ Styles with the belt. Looks like we have ourselves a ladder match at Final Resolution.</em></p><p>

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Kofi Kingston vs. John Hennigan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This singles match was a good one, especially for an opening contest. Kingston and Hennigan matched each other in speed, which was entertaining. The two former 'E competitors, former BFG Series competitors, and future TV Title challengers fought hard for about seven and a half minutes. Hennigan caught his first win in a very long time when he landed the Moonlight Drive out of nowhere.</em></p><p><em>

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Chris Sabin vs. Jimmy Rave</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>One of many matches to hype up the X-Division Gauntlet for the Gold, this one was solid. Rave showed why he's still on the roster once more, putting up a great fight. The former multi-time X-Division Champion in Chris Sabin showed why he is such, though, when he landed the Cradle Shock for the victory.</em></p><p><em>

<em>"Natural" Vince Kage and "Technical Lightning" TJ Perkins are backstage, just before TJP's singles match with Darren Rosser. Kage hypes up TJP, praises him, and says the two of them are the next tag champions, and TJ's about to show everyone why.</em></p><p>

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Darren Rosser vs. TJ Perkins</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>One of the the best matches of the night (and the best thus far) saw the extremely talented TJ Perkins taking on Darren Rosser, one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions. Both of these men fought with their tag team partners at ringside. Kage talked trash from corner to corner to Rompo, which the fans loved. Rompo looked like he was about to break Kage in half, though. Inside the ring, D-Ross' cunning wasn't enough for him to break the determined TJ Perkins. TJP put him away with the Figure Four Deathlock after almost 12 and a half minutes.</em></p><p><em>

Singles Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Rob Van Dam vs. Rhino</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>A very good bout, with the power of Rhino up against the speed of Rob Van Dam. The fans ate up this match between two former ECW World Heavyweight Champions. After Rhino scored a win over RVD's tag partner last week, RVD got revenge when he kicked out of a Gore and landed the Five Star Frog Splash for the win.</em></p><p><em>

A bit uncharacteristic of me to pick Cage instead of picking on him, but I think they can manage to steal the win

Pick Your Poison: Zane Nosux vs. ???

Pick Your Poison: AJ Styles vs. ??? & ???

No way either man loses, right?

Bonus Points:

Who is Nosux's opponent? (currently on the roster) Gonna go with Abyss, as well

Who are Styles' opponents? (former WWE competitors) Umm... The Ascencion? :o

<em>A great match, especially as the opening contest on the televised show. These two clearly don't like each other, and they fought back and forth for over fifteen minutes. <em>A good match between the five of these men, who will all fight in an elimination match on Sunday with Alex Shelley's Television Championship on the line. This one ended up as more of a bout filled with chaos, and everyone fighting for the pin. Things broke down in the end, as John Hennigan landed the Flying Chuck on Joe Hennig, only for Cody Rhodes to land the Beautiful Disaster Kick. <em>An awkward bout between one half of the tag team champions, and one half of the challengers. Kage looked really good in this one, though, showing his future is bright. AJ Styles vs. Crazed Chaos (Tyler Black & Roman Leakee)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>These two had great chemistry as tag team partners, and had a lot to prove performing in front of the TNA Crowd. AJ Styles, the fighting champion that he is, had to defeat both of them in order to get the win he is. A great match saw the big man Leakee go for a Spear, but Styles tossed him into the ring post. He then landed the Pele Kick to knock Black off of the ropes, and rolled Leakee around, landing the Styles Clash to eliminate him. He and Black fought back and forth next, with Black landing a standing double foot stomp for an extremely close count. He too fell victim to the Styles Clash, though, and Styles grabbed a hell of a lot of momentum.</em></p><p><em>

TNA FINAL RESOLUTION 2014

SUNDAY, WEEK 4, DECEMBER 2014

FL BB&T CENTER

LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW

19,246 FANS IN ATTENDANCE

FULL RESULTS

The show opens with a big fireworks display. Mike Tenay, Taz, and Jim Ross lead into the show. Directly after, a new theme song hits and the man known as "The Swiss Superman" Claudio Castagnoli makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and starts talking about how great an opportunity coming to TNA was. He knows that opportunities come often, but most people don't see them. Jay Lethal makes his way down to the ring to a nice reaction. He says that while he doesn't like Paul Heyman, or his complete overhaul to the company, he loves entertaining these fans. He says Claudio will have to earn everything in TNA, just the same.

Rating: 69

Claudio Castagnoli's Opportunist gimmick gets 91.

MATCH ONE

SPECIAL OPENER

SINGLES MATCH

"The Swiss Superman" Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jay Lethal

This match was a pretty lengthy opener, which was great and the fans ate it up. The downside was these two not clicking very well as opponents. They fought their hardest nonetheless, with both men kicking out of the other's finisher. Claudio made things interesting, however, when he put Lethal away after stealing his finisher. He debuts in a big way here, and Lethal was cheered all the way to the back.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Jay Lethal in 17:50 by pinfall with a Lethal Combination.

Rating: 62

Awkward bout.

MATCH TWO

TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

20-MAN X-DIVISION GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD

Homicide © vs. Chris Sabin vs. Amazing Red vs. Zema Ion vs. Shannon Moore vs. Paul London vs. Trent Barreta vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Max Buck vs. Hayashi vs. Yamamoto vs. Azrieal vs. Kenny King vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Jimmy Rave vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ???

The timed-entrance over-the-top-rope Gauntlet for the Gold began with Chris Sabin making his way down to the ring with TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky on his arm.

Entrant 1: Chris Sabin

The second entrant was a surprise, being Consequences Creed.

Entrant 2: Consequences Creed

He came down to the ring, formerly Xavier Woods in the WWE, wearing his old TNA Attire. Creed and Sabin shook hands before going at it in fast-paced action. No eliminations, and one half of Generation Me came in next.

Entrant 3: Jeremy Buck

These three fought for awhile, with the fans cheering for each of them at different intervals. The next entrant was a young and impressive former TNA Jr. competitor.

Entrant 4: Azrieal

Azrieal being another fan favorite, these four displayed X-Division action at its finest, fighting simply for the love of it. Creed landed the first elimination, landing a big dropkick to Azrieal. The next entrant brought evil down to the ring.

Eliminated: Azrieal

Entrant 5: Hayashi

The only remaining member of the WRESTLE-1 roster on the TNA Roster after the buyout, Hayashi came in with his usual evil foreigner feel. One half of HayaMoto took to all of his opponents with a lot of momentum, but Sabin slowed him down and landed a nice Superkick to knock him down.

Entrant 6: Jimmy Rave

The X-Division mainstay Jimmy Rave came down to the ring, presenting his usual cocky self. He hops right in the ring and makes an impact, tossing Sabin over the ropes. Sabin hangs on though, and springs back in to take Rave down. Hayashi works away at Jeremy in the corner, and Creed does a few impressive backflips to get the crowd to cheer.

Entrant 7: Kenny King

Kenny King heads down to the ring, getting a nice chorus of boos. He hops right in and trades blows with Creed. King gets the advantage and knocks Creed down, and then drops Sabin with a dropkick to the back of the head. Jimmy Rave gets up and thanks King, who just dumps Rave to the outside. Jeremy Buck runs at him but King moves out of the way and Jeremy is eliminated as well.

Eliminated: Jimmy Rave, Jeremy Buck

Entrant 8: Max Buck

In the Ring: Chris Sabin, Consequences Creed, Hayashi, Kenny King

The other half of Generation Me doesn't look too happy, telling his brother 'I'll avenge you' before springing into the ring and knocking King down with an elbow to the chest. Hayashi stops Max's momentum and continues the Gen Me-HayaMoto feud by tossing Max out of the ring. A few seconds later, our next surprise entrant makes his way down to the ring.

Eliminated: Max Buck

Entrant 9: Eddie Colon

The former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion known as Primo (and Diego) makes his way down to the ring to a good reaction. He runs in and trades punches, elbows, and kicks with Hayashi before landing a Hurricanrana to send Hayashi over the top rope and to the floor. Kenny King runs at him, and he clotheslines him to the mat, then picks him up from behind and lands a Backstabber to a good reaction.

Eliminated: Hayashi

Entrant 10: Orlando Colon

Just off the heels of Eddie Colon's surprise entrance is his cousin, Orlando Colon (known as Epico/Fernando). Orlando gets a good reaction as well, joining Eddie in the ring. The two do a few cartwheels before landing a Double Backstabber on Sabin and eliminate the former multi-time X-Division Champion. They double team Kenny King and eliminate him as well.

Eliminated: Chris Sabin, Kenny King

Entrant 11: Sonjay Dutt

In The Ring: Consequences Creed, Eddie Colon, Orlando Colon

The Original Playa From the Himalaya comes down to the ring, cocky as ever. He assures himself he can take on the three new debuts, entering the ring and whipping into the corner. He does the same to Orlando but Eddie gets out of the way and runs at him with a shoulder block. This backs Sonjay up into Creed, who lands a neckbreaker to take Sonjay down. Sonjay gets up fast, and lands a headscissors take down on Eddie, and a running dropkick to Orlando in the corner. He trades kicks with Creed as the next entrant comes out.

Entrant 12: Yamamoto

The other half of HayaMoto, another former WWE competitor, meets the others in the ring. The evil Japanese worker lands a Roundhouse Kick to Creed and helps Sonjay keep the Colons down.

Entrant 13: Zema Ion

The Obnoxious Filipino heads down to the ring next and jumps in with a dropkick, with one foot hitting Sonjay and the other hitting Yamamoto. He stomps away at Yamamoto for awhile, with Creed recovering and attacking Sonjay Dutt. Eventually, the next entrant comes out.

Entrant 14: Trent Barreta

In The Ring: Eddie Colon, Orlando Colon, Sonjay Dutt, Yamamoto, Zema Ion

One half of Special Edition comes down to the ring. The Dudebuster starts fighting with Zema Ion, and the Colons recover to battle Yamamoto. Zema slips away from Trent and lands a random dropkick to the back of Yamamoto's head, sending the Japanese competitor clear over the ropes and to the outside.

Eliminated: Yamamoto

Entrant 15: Matt Sydal

The next surprise returnee is Matt Sydal. WWE's Evan Bourne receives a nice reaction as he comes down to the ring and jumps in with a springboard Shooting Star Press into a clothesline to take down both Eddie and Orlando Colon. Sydal then sends both of the Colons to the outside, and turns around to land a Headscissors on Sonjay, who tumbles to the outside as well. He lands an impressive standing Shooting Star Press to the back of the kneeling Trent Barreta as well.

Eliminated: Eddie Colon, Orlando Colon, Sonjay Dutt

Entrant 16: Paul London

In The Ring: Zema Ion, Trent Barreta, Matt Sydal

Trent Barreta's tag team partner makes his way down to the ring next. Special Edition double-team Zema Ion to keep him down, but Matt Sydal manages to take both of them down with various springboard moves.

Entrant 17: Amazing Red

Anyone of these men could be the next X-Division Champion as former X-Champ Amazing Red comes down to the ring, accompanied by Rosita. Red gets in the ring and starts trading kicks with Matt Sydal. The fans cheer like crazy as Red and Sydal clash, their styles being so similar. Red gets the advantage, being the X-Division veteran he is. He nearly eliminates Sydal, who skins the cat to get back in. Red waits in the corner for Trent Barreta to get to his feet, landing the Red Eye on Trent to knock him right back down. He bounces off the ropes and lands the Red Alert on Paul London who was still down.

Entrant 18: Shannon Moore

Zema Ion's tag team partner comes down to the ring next, sliding into the ring and taking it right to Red, who was on fire (no pun intended). Moore whips Red into the ropes, and Red comes back, jumping over Moore's head. Just as Red runs back at Moore, Zema Ion lands a dropkick to take him down. Red recovers fast but Moore runs up the corner and comes down with the Halo to Red. ZeMoore toss Red out now, and then turn their attention to the tag team on the ground. Special Edition slowly recover, only for Zema Ion to toss London out and Moore to toss Barreta out.

Eliminated: Amazing Red, Trent Barreta, Paul London

Entrant 19: Justin Lee Angel

Known as Justin Gabriel in the WWE, Justin Lee Angel runs down to the ring to an even bigger reaction than the four surprise entrants before him. He hops in and takes down both members of ZeMoore with nice corkscrew kicks and then lands a nice powerbomb on Matt Sydal, heading up top and landing the 450 Splash on Sydal to a great reaction. He then tossed Sydal right out.

Eliminated: Matt Sydal

Entrant 20: Homicide

In The Ring: Zema Ion, Shannon Moore, Justin Lee Angel

The X-Division Champion makes his way down to the ring, taking his time. The other three competitors simply way for Homicide, all wanting tonight to result in a new champion. Homicide gets inside and the final four is official. ZeMoore and JLA close in on Homicide, taking him down and stomping away at him. They try to toss the champ out, but he hangs on. He tries to jump back in with a Sunset Flip, but JLA kicks him in mid-air and then tosses him out for the quick elimination.

Eliminated: Homicide

The guarantee of a new X-Division Champion is a result, and Justin Lee Angel turns around to see a hungry tag team. Zema Ion and Shannon Moore bump knuckles before attacking JLA, knocking him down to the mat and stomping away at him. Zema grabs him around the back of the head and tries to toss him over, but JLA catches Zema's head with his legs and whips Zema to the outside. Shannon Moore runs up the corner and tries for the Halo over the top rope, but JLA sees the attempt and moves out of the way. Moore's back lands against the apron. The impact is enough pain for Moore to roll right off of the apron and onto the floor.

Eliminated: Zema Ion, Shannon Moore

Alex Shelley © vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Brutus Magnus vs. Joe Hennig vs. John Hennigan vs. Kofi Kingston

This match was a good one, with a lot of turmoil. Though the other four competitors stayed on their corners for a good majority of the time, tagging out was very frequent. Joe Hennig went for the tag to Alex Shelley, but Shelley jumped off the ropes instead. Hennig turned around to Trouble in Paradise from Kofi Kingston.

Eliminated: Joe Hennig

John Hennigan came in next and fought against Kofi for awhile, until Kofi tagged out to Brutus Magnus. Magnus came in like a house of fire, taking it to Hennigan and keeping him down. Magnus was caught off guard however, as Hennigan recovered quickly from a clothesline and landing a Flying Chuck to take Magnus down for the count.

Eliminated: Brutus Magnus

Hennigan tagged out to Cody Rhodes, who squared off with Kofi Kingston. These two fought back-and-forth for quite some time but it was apparent that Cody was much more focused. He landed the Cross Rhodes to take out Kofi.

Eliminated: Kofi Kingston

The final three was determined, as Cody Rhodes called for Alex Shelley to come in next. Shelley did so, but quickly tagged out to Hennigan. Cody Rhodes said 'fine' and landing a Disaster Kick to put Hennigan down long enough for the 3 count.

Eliminated: John Hennigan

All that was left was a very game Cody Rhodes and reigning champion Alex Shelley. Shelley climbed in and showed off how very fresh he was, though so far into the match. He and Rhodes both fought hard, with Rhodes landing the Cross Rhodes for the pin.

NO! KICKOUT JUST BEFORE THREE! Alex Shelley recovered and fought his way back against Rhodes, landing the Sliced Bread #2 for the win to retain.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Alex Shelley defeated Cody Rhodes, Joe Hennig, John Hennigan, Kofi Kingston and Brutus Magnus in an Elimination match in 11:56; the order of elimination was Joe Hennig first, then Brutus Magnus, then Kofi Kingston, then John Hennigan, and finally Cody Rhodes. Alex Shelley makes defence number 5 of his TNA Television title.

Sick & Twisted © vs. Kaged Animals

The best match thus far was the tag team match between the two hottest teams on the roster. The cunning and ruthless team of former Fall of Entertainment members up against the X-Division student and teacher duo. Best 2 out of 3 started with a great back-and-forth contest. Vince Kage slipped up, however, and was caught in the Torture Rack from the big man Rompo. He submit fairly quickly.

Score

S&T: 1

KA: 0

"Natural" Vince Kage tagged out to "Technical Lightning" TJ Perkins. One of the youngest veterans in the business, TJP took it to Rompo. The big man stumbled and struggled to slow down TJ's quick offense. TJP landed a Springboard Moonsault Press to take Rompo down, but Rompo crawled to the corner and tagged in Darren Rosser. D-Ross and TJP fought back and forth, and the technical prowess of TJ Perkins got the best of Darren Rosser, who missed a Rosserator attempt and was locked into the Figure Four Deathlock. D-Ross tapped, like Kage did before, to tie the score.

Score

S&T: 1

KA: 1

The comeback was real for the Kaged Animals, but the champions are not pushovers. Darren Rosser fought his own way back, working away at TJP and then tagging in Rompo to cut the ring in half and keep TJ away from his partner. Sick & Twisted used various tag team moves to keep TJ weak, slow, grounded, and on their side of the ring. Rompo went for a Powerbomb but TJ managed to backflip out of Rompo's clutches and dropkick him in the knees, taking the big man down to his knees. He quickly sprang back and tagged in "Natural" Vince Kage. The youngster quickly hopped over the ropes and locked in the Guillotine Choke in on the leaning Guyanese Demon. Rompo refused to tap, listening to the words of the screaming Darren Rosser behind him. Instead, the big man passed out, as declared by the referee. The third fall goes to the new tag team champions, with Kage scoring the first title victory of his career.

Final Score

S&T: 1

KA: 2

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kaged Animals defeated Sick & Twisted in a 2 vs 2 Two Out Of Three Falls match in 14:58 by two falls to one after losing the first, with the final fall happening when Vince Kage defeated Rompo by submission with the Guillotine Choke. Kaged Animals win the TNA World Tag Team titles.

This tag team match was the best thus far, and lived up to its hype.

Highlights:

-Matt Morgan landed the Carbon Footprint on Anderson in the first few seconds of the match, but Anderson kicked out.

-Rhino and Morgan landing stereo powerbombs on their opponents.

-RVD landing a running senton to take down both Morgan & Rhino on the outside.

-All four men brawling at ringside until the count of nine.

-Anderson landing what would appear to be a 3-Star Frog Splash per RVD's request, but Morgan broke up the pin.

-Matt Morgan landed the Hellevator on Anderson, only for RVD to hitting a Van Daminator kick to send him tumbling to the outside. The legal man Rhino landed a Gore on RVD as soon as he turned around, gaining the pinfall victory.

AJ Styles came down to the ring and talked about what the TNA World Heavyweight Championship means to him, and said he is determined to retain the belt here tonight, as 'Entertainment' guys seem to be taking over no matter what happens, and a champion like AJ prevents all of that. Nosux came out, stating he isn't an 'Entertainment' guy, he's an ass-kicking guy. He wants to beat AJ in AJ's own element, thus the ladder match here tonight.

"The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles © vs. Zane Nosux

Clearly the best match TNA has had in the past year of it's new existence. These two men left it all out in the ring in a great main event bout for the prestigious TNA WHC.

Highlights:

-The two men traded blows right in the beginning, and Nosux landed a cheapshot that caused AJ to take him down with a Pele Kick.

-Styles landed a Spiral Tap to Nosux, who was lying on a ladder.

-Nosux landed a powerbomb to Styles right into a ladder that was leaned against the corner. The ladder broke in half, and the fans started a 'Holy Shit' chant.

-'This is Awesome' chants at the 15 minute mark, with both men still fighting like in the opening minutes after all the damage.

-Another 'Holy Shit' chant after Styles landed a Sunset Flip on Nosux from one side of the top of the ladder to the other, and both men crashed onto a ladder that was leaning against the ropes, breaking said ladder.

-'This is Wrestling' chants as the men locked in different submission holds on each other, and broke them.

-'LETS GO STYLES/ZANE NO-SUX! LETS GO STYLES/ZANE NO-SUX!' chants as they trade punches and kicks.

-Zane Nosux landed a Package Piledriver and set up the ladder under the belt, climbing all the way up to the top and nearly unhooking it before AJ pulled himself up with the ropes and dropkicked the ladder over, with Nosux hanging onto the belt for just a second, before dropping down to the mat next to Styles. The previous chant started up once again as both men slowly tried to recover. Nosux somehow managed to get up first and as soon as he got the ladder in place, Styles landed a Pele Kick on him. Nosux fell face-first into the ladder, but simply leaned against it, not moving. AJ gained a running start and then sprinted up Nosux's back rather than the first wrungs of the ladder, and made it to the top. As Nosux reached for the wrung above him, Styles unhooked the belt to retain his championship.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, AJ Styles defeated Zane Nosux in a Ladder match in 30:19 when AJ Styles retrieved the item. AJ Styles makes defence number 2 of his TNA World Heavyweight title.

Rave & Shelley vs. Special Edition (pre-show)

Colon Coalition (Eddie & Orlando Colon) vs. Sick & Twisted

I think the new guys steal a win from the former champs

Sonjay Dutt vs. Justin Lee Angel (non-title)

Genesis Tourny: Abyss vs. Rhino

Genesis Tourny: Samoa Joe vs. Roman Leakee

This is tough but I'm going with Leakee because he has more promise

ZeMoore vs. Kaged Animals (non-title)

Rain vs. Velvet Sky

Genesis Tourny: Bobby Roode vs. Mr. Anderson

Genesis Tourny: Rob Van Dam vs. Tyler Black

Can't have both of Crazed Chaos advancing, right? :D
