WWE 2013 - Bringing Wrestling Back - A Plague Diary

On Sunday December 1st 2013, Vince McMahon declared that he would be making an announcement that would change the landscape of the WWE forever later in the day. Tons of speculation arose from the internet, was Vince going to finally announce the arrival of the much anticipated WWE Network? Did he sign a major talent? Maybe he finally bought out TNA? However, through all the speculation, no one saw this announcement coming. At 2:00 PM EST on December 1st 2013, the WWE held a press conference in which Vince McMahon declared that he would be officially retiring from the world of professional wrestling, and that he would be leaving his prized possession, the WWE, to his son in law, Triple H.

With Triple H now in full control of the WWE, a new era was ushered. The 13 time WWE Champion and future Hall-of-Famer stated that the WWE will be making some drastic changes – for the better. Hunter was quoted saying that he will be “bringing the wrestling back to WWE.”

Note: This will be a special kind of diary, a plague diary. What is a plague diary you ask? Well on the first of every month, one in ring worker will be selected at random (via a random number generator), and he/she will be FIRED. This will force me to drastically alter my plans, force myself to create new top talent, and should make for some fun experiences.

WEEK 1 DECEMBER – MONDAY NIGHT RAW 5 POINT PREVIEW

• In a great match at Survivor Series, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena managed to hold off Alberto Del Rio, injured arm and all, to retain his championship. Although Alberto has already lost the match he earned from his rematch clause, WWE COO Triple H has announced that Alberto Del Rio will face John Cena one last time on Monday Night RAW for the World Championship. However, this will be Alberto’s last shot against John Cena for the title; if he loses, he will never get a title shot against Cena again!

• In other news involving the World Champion, after Randy Orton defeated Big Show with the Authority’s help, an epic face off went down as John Cena and Randy Orton stared down to close the show. What will come of this face off? Triple H has come out saying that he will address what happened on RAW.

• At Survivor Series the Beard and the Best managed to take down the ever intimidating Wyatts. However, Punk and Bryan clearly aren’t satisfied, as they have requested another match, this time against all three of the Wyatt Family.

• Roman Reigns had arguably the greatest Survivor Series performance of all time last night, when he eliminated 4 of the 5 members on the other team. On Monday he and the rest of The Shield will have a chance to further build their momentum as they take on the team of Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust.

• Finally, Mark Henry shocked the WWE Universe when he answered Ryback’s open challenge at Survivor Series and came out victorious. Tonight on RAW, Henry looks to take on Ryback’s ally, Curtis Axel.

Newsflash, Triple H didn’t think I had the ability to be WWE Champion, hell, he didn’t even think John Cena had the ability to be Champion. Triple H is out here every week spewing nonsense about what’s “best for business”, when in reality all Triple H cares about is what’s best for Triple H. See, Hunter never wanted Daniel Bryan to be WWE Champion because deep down inside, he knows Daniel is better than he is, just like he knows I’m better than he is.
