BuddyGarner
Although perhaps the current 4 sizes bigger isn't enough for strikes. It doesn't make sense for a roundhouse body punch to be used by a midgit against a giant. Many moves do not seem feasible to be used by wrestlers of extremes in size. This also takes a lot from the high flying moves as most of the time using strikes is better. There is a possibility of limiting size universally for all standing/charging strikes but there are instances where strikes makes sense such as dropkicks. Blake Trask
This is why bracing exists though. It's built in that strikes are less effective against bigger opponents.

It's really not realistic for a midgit to be able to do a face rake or a side headlock on a giant.

But the issue isn't so much low level moves as flying double axe handle is a pretty good move.

The issue is more medium+ where bracing isn't feasible. There's no reason to use high flying moves over strike moves. However, this could change if striking moves became limited on size.
Blake Trask
iirc fewer high flying moves can be flat out blocked, they tend to have to be avoided or countered, which is an advantage to flying around right there.
