INTRODUCTION

 

Welcome, ladies and gentleman, to my first dynasty on the forum. All of you probably don't know me since I've essentially been a lurker on here for ages and while I've thought about posting a dynasty on here, I've never actually gone through with it. I decided to go ahead with it this time around however as I'm actually motivated to try and get deep with a game in TEW 2013. I've read a few dynasties (more like skimmed through the ones that I found most appealing, so that'll probably bear a heavy influence in how I write this project. I'm definitely no TEW 2013 pro, in fact, up until mid-last year, I'd never owned a TEW game besides dipping into the 2005 freeware and EWR. However, finally being capable of buying video games of my own, the first thing I did was apprehend the latest edition of TEW (and I can certainly see myself doing the same for the next iterations of this series). As previously mentioned, I've never gone deep with a file, I've tried Cornellverse and have touched alternate universes as well but this'll be the one I fully dig myself into.

 

THUNDERVERSE

For those of you who aren't familiar, I'll be using the Thunderverse instead of any real world mod or the default Cornellverse mod. It was made by 20LEgend, James0, jhd1, MichiganHero, MJStark, Sebsplex, Shmoe, and TheEnforcer. Although I'd heard about it, seen it around, I've never bothered with it but I finally checked out the history and the discussion thread and it was intriguing and different (while still feeling familiar) enough to try it out. , in case you wanna check it out. I believe that's as much as I have to say for now. I intended on giving the readers a brief look at Canadian wrestling in the ThunderVerse but there seems to be a mix up between the ThunderVerse and the ROTW ThunderVerse with Canadian history and being that I'm not exactly sure what's truly canon and what's not, I chose to simply brush that aside.

Western Canada Championship Wrestling

Western Canada Championship Wrestling was founded by Ricky Lionheart (pictured to the right). In hopes of mimicking the success of the Awesome Wrestling Federation and making a significant amount of money while he was at it. Of course, in reality, thing's don't go just as smooth, nevertheless, WCCW is widely recognized by the internet community as the Canadian AWF. WCCW features a similar kind of Sports Entertainment dubbed Canadian Attitude. Aiming for the demographic left open by the Canadian wrestling market, for those too young to care about Calgary Championship Wrestling's blend of old school wrestling and too old to be invested in Great North Wrestling's more family friendly product while regarding Montreal Hardcore Revolution as little more than a sideshow. WCCW presents a mature product, focusing more on reaching a cult-like fanbase while never actually reaching the level of hardcore wrestling presented by MHR. While the company originally featured Desmond Lily as its leading booker, after 2 years of a lack of success, Ricky Lionheart impatiently handed over creative power to veteran manager Louis Vincent (pictured left) in a bid to push for supremacy in the Canadian market.

<p>Great show. I really like the way that you mention some minors "backstage stuff" that occurs during the show, for example, when the staff covered the lights with a red towel, or when you express that "no one cares" for the opening match. Its like we get <strong>your vision of the show while you were watching it,</strong> and that's very interesting. Like a Director's Cut with comments.</p><p> </p><p>

JD Powers is a great character, he overshadows Redd with his promo in every single aspect. Its a real shame that he is and asshole backstage. BTW, I insists, the womens division is one of the most profitable stuff of this company. Dwaine Kai vs Carbon only getting an E+ is a shame, Kai is amazing!</p><p> </p><p>

Avalon for me is the "Next Big Thing" of this company, he needs to be pushed to the moon, but in a smart way, not the one that WCCW has been using him lately. I hope that you can lead him to be a true legend and the face of your company.</p><p> </p><p>

The main reason I'm posting now is that I can't help but laugh that Carbon was the focus of a B- angle but an E+ match.
