Joe Rogan: "That has to go down as a 10-9 round to Miller. Chandler is quickly back up off his stool, psyched up and looking ready to look for the finish that he now needs."

Round 3

Mike Goldberg: And here we go, round three! Judging from what we heard from his corner, Chandler is looking to let his hands go in this round. Chandler steps back to avoid a one-two combination. Miller isn't drawn in by Chandler feinting to his left. Chandler throws a barrage of big right hands but Miller moves out of range. Chandler drops down as if looking to shoot, then withdraws, Miller not having fallen for the fake. Miller swiftly avoids a barrage of big punches. Michael Chandler is looking really tired. Chandler counters a wayward left jab with a couple of hard rights! Backing off, Miller looks very wobbly, I think he may be hurt! Miller regains his wits just in time to duck under the head kick that would have surely ended the fight. We move into the second half of this round. Chandler feints left, then right. Chandler drops his shoulder and fakes going for a single leg, but Miller isn't buying it. Chandler fakes a shot, but gets no reaction from Miller. Miller looks to move in and stand in the pocket. Keen to keep space between them, Chandler backs away. We move into the final sixty seconds of this round. A speculative right hand from Miller doesn't find a home. Chandler doesn't let Miller settle, stepping in closer to impose himself. Although visibly tired, Chandler looks to move in and stand in the pocket. Chandler and Miller get closer, both looking eager to engage at close range. Not comfortable in the pocket, Chandler steps back and creates some space. The fight comes to an end as the time limit expires.

Joe Rogan: "I think Chandler took that round, 10-9 on my score card."

Bruce Buffer:: "After three rounds the judge´s scores cards for decision. All three judges score the contest as 29-28. Declare the winner by Unanimous Decision Jim Miller!"

Rosholt springs back to his feet, albeit at the expense of a few punches to the body and head. There's under a minute left in this round. Silva comes in, looking for a quick takedown. He uses a single leg! Rosholt is too quick though, and as soon as he hits the ground he spins away, getting back to his feet. There's a takedown attempt from Rosholt. Getting underhooks, Riggs looks for a takedown. The takedown doesn't work, Paraisy blocked it and then takes control of the grapple. Paraisy tries to wrestle Riggs backward and up against the cage. Paraisy can't do it though, and ends up being out-wrestled in the grapple. We move into the second half of this round. Riggs tries to wrestle Paraisy backward and up against the cage. Riggs achieves it, pinning Paraisy to the cage. Showing how good he can be at controlling opponents, Riggs keeps Paraisy stuck against the cage for about sixty seconds. Riggs has gotten underhooks in and is looking to take Paraisy to the ground. Paraisy keeps his composure, and Riggs cannot get past his takedown defence. Paraisy creates a little bit of space, and that's enough for him to circle away out of the grapple and back to the center. We're into the final minute of the round. Round one is brought to an end as time runs out.

Round 2

And here we go, round two! Riggs gets suckered in by a feint, and is lucky to avoid the combination that follows. Paraisy slips past a left jab and fires back with a pair of nice shots to the body. Riggs tries to secure a ground position. Paraisy scoots backward as soon as Riggs comes in, initiating a scramble for position. We move into the second half of this round. The scramble fails to secure either fighter a dominant position, and they both end up standing. Riggs, who is visibly tired, looks like he might want to get in close and wrestle with Paraisy. Strikes from Paraisy keep Riggs from stepping in too close, and he is forced to step back. Norman Paraisy looks very tired out there. Paraisy avoids a series of wayward big punches and counters with a flurry of small strikes. From the looks of things, I don't think Joe Riggs has much energy left. We're into the final minute of the round. A straight left fails to land and Paraisy is able to fire back with a straight left. Slowed down by physical tiredness, Paraisy still looks to get in close and strike from the pocket. Seeing a takedown opportunity, Riggs goes for a single leg, but Paraisy is equal to it. The fight comes to an end as the time limit expires.
