Though official written contracts have yet to be signed, it looks like all three men are excited to work for the SWF, and have gimmicks drafted out for them for their television debuts in February and March, 2014. According to sources, Hernandez and Parker will be known as "Mainstream" and "Stevie", and will be launched as a tag team called the "24/7 Partay Dudez", before becoming core members of a five-man stable of the same name. "We don't know who the other two or three members (of the Partay Dudez) would be," said one person familiar with the negotiations. "But James and Steven are both very interested in what the SWF has planned for them." Hernandez is 27 and Parker 29, and both make solid additions to the SWF's undercard, and potential recipients of a bigger push in the coming years. As of the present, Hernandez is wrestling in Puerto Rico's Freedom Caribbean Wrestling (FCW), while Parker is one of the better workers in Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling (PSW).</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';">

Cage, on the other hand, is set to debut under his real name, with a pickup artist (PUA) gimmick. "Tentatively, they'll have Roger debuting on Supreme TV in or around Valentine's Day, to match his gimmick," said another insider. "We've heard the SWF will place him in a talk show on Supreme TV, much like what Freddy (Garcia) used to have, but he'll only be wrestling when (B-show) Uprising goes back on air this March." California native Cage, 31, is a veteran of the New York Championship Wrestling (NYCW) scene, and while not considered to be a great worker, he's nonetheless capable in-ring, and already thought of as "SWF-level" in terms of mic skills.</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';">

And as you'll see, those first predictions will be coming sooner than you think.</p><p> </p><p> Regarding Des Davids...I'm gonna have to agree with you there. By far, I prefer his render on E-V's diary, but his Dennis Rodman-esque look is far more suited for a heel. In the one I went with...he kinda looks like O.J. Simpson. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> As such, I am considering changing Des' look once the shows get posted.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, I think we're all good now; it's time to post the first card of 2014 for predictions! Coincidentally, the prediction format is now a hybrid between E-V's and angeldelayette's. Expect one backstage segment and maybe a news article prior to that show, but to give you an idea of where the storylines are going, I've included (hypothetical) recaps of the last two Supreme TVs of 2013...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="37670" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Banners%20Etc/RecentlyonSupremeTV_zps7636be51.png</span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>December 17, 2013</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Remo</strong></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> d. Thanks to those who've sent in their predictions so far! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Here's one more backstage segment ahead of the next show...and the first backstage incident!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

"I hope you understand, Pat. I just got here, and if you've been reading the dirt sheets, they say I've got heat. You haven't? PWH quoted some people, I don't know whom, and said I started something with Eric at the after-party following my press conference. Also claimed I didn't go up to everyone and introduce myself. I'll see what I can do, Pat, but I can't make any promises. They've already got a shortlist of guys they want for High Stakes. Okay, okay. High Stakes or no High Stakes, but it'll be their call, not mine. Talk to you soon, man, it was nice hearing from you again."</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';">

Making friends in the locker room, as it turned out, wasn't as easy as Des made it seem when he introduced me to the others. I knew newcomers had to make the first move, and I'm sure Des meant well, but since Des was an old friend trying to help by introducing me to some of the boys and girls, I was seen as this cocky interloper from USPW who didn't want to make friends on his own.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';">

So before I received that phone call from Patrick Cudelli, a.k.a. Patrick Cool and Happy Elwood, I made sure to apologize to everyone and be the first one to introduce myself. Some of the workers were all cool with it. Steve Frehley, for instance, said I didn't have to apologize, and so did Tom Gilmore. Christian Faith, an old-school sort who was tight with Richard Eisen, but not the curmudgeon and dictator he supposedly was, gave me a stern "Now you know" and shook my hand. The so-called Klubb, however, didn't seem impressed.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Lucida Sans Unicode';">

"Mmmm-hmp." With that, Jerry Eisen left me alone to continue walking on eggshells in my first SWF show. However, the excitement, if you could call it that, wasn't over. <p>Good segments. I don't think it was intentional, but you almost made me feel bad for Bear Bekowski. Almost.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, I like that you're holding the first show at the BJCC. That's where I saw my first (and only) live wrestling show, which was an episode of RAW if I remember right.</p>

<p>Hey there! Fellow kababayan here! Just finished reading the entire K.P. Avatar saga and it was AWESOME!!! But I expect this one to be even MORE AWESOME!!! I do hope K.P.'s still in this story though. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, here are my predictions:</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant (w/Hannah) vs <strong>Rogue (w/Emma Chase) </strong></p><p>

[semifinals, United States Title tournament]</p><p>

Comment: i think valiant's gonna be too busy with eisen to contend for the us title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The All-Americans (w/BJ O'Neill)</strong> vs Quadruple B</p><p>

Comment: I think quadruple b can only beat jobbers these days, and the all-americans are far from being jobbers.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lobster Warrior (w/Angel Fish)</strong> vs Enforcer Roberts (w/Eric Eisen) </p><p>

[semifinals, United States Title tournament]</p><p>

Comment: Enforcer Roberts is most likely to be used as a gatekeeper now, plus its fun to see lobby winning a title this time round.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Amazing Bumfholes</strong> vs The Pain Alliance</p><p>

Comment: the pain alliance are a big pain in the @ss.</p><p> </p><p>

Robbie Retro vs <strong>Squeeky McClean © </strong></p><p>

[Non-title match]</p><p>

Comment: squeeky's the midcard champ, so he shouldn't lose to a lower card guy.</p><p> </p><p>

Steve Frehley vs <strong>Rich Money</strong></p><p>

[semfinals, SWF Title tournament]</p><p>

Comment: I think the chase agency's gonna cost frehley this match</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> vs Brandon James (w/Emma Chase) </p><p>

[semifinals, SWF Title tournament]</p><p>

Comment: angry gilmore for the title!!! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Question #1 - Which tag team will appear in an angle between the All-Americans/Quad B and Lobby/Enforcer matches? <strong>The Pain Alliance</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Introductory Bonus Question (Worth 2 points, first person w/correct answer gets the points) - Which among the SWF Superstars on the yearbook-style collage (first post on thread) does not belong? <strong>Marc Dubois</strong></p>

Or someone like yours truly, the Cream of the Crop, the Mayor of Metal, POPULATION UMPTEEN MILLION Jack Motherbleepin' Bruce? Oh hell no, Constituents, especially not for someone like me. See, Barry Bowen hates everythin' about me...he hates my music, he hates my long hair, he hates the fact that he's a divorced dad of three who can't get no satisfaction in the singles bars while I've got a lady or two every night after every show...may it be a rock show...or a wrestlin' show. It was just too hard to maintain and my writing had suffered too much, IMO. But it's great to have you and all the other first-time predictors onboard for the new one!</p><p> </p><p> As usual, here are some random comments and observations about the first show...</p><p> </p><p> - Looks like everyone's clamoring for Gilmore vs Money for the new SWF Title. Based on initial observations, these two are still "money" when it comes to match grades, for the most part, and Money isn't in time decline just yet.</p><p> - In diaries I've seen so far, Marc DuBois is either portrayed as a cocky youth, one of Vengeance's "acolytes", or he's gone so soon (due to his little ganja problem) he doesn't make much of a mark, no pun intended. He's behaved himself well enough so far, and as you may have seen, I'm aiming for a Brian Pillman-esque "loose cannon" gimmick.</p><p> - Yup, we've got <strong>Occasional_Z</strong> with a "better than perfect" score in the prediction game, as he was the first, and only person to guess Big Smack Scott in the introductory special bonus. Yes, I deliberately set the collage up in such a way that the Smacker was the only one who didn't have an alternate render, so you're right on the reason as well. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Anyway, Des Davids is now using his stock render, by popular demand, so that makes two initial members of the SWF roster not using alts.</p>

If you said at the end of your last diary that you weren't planning on doing a brand split again, why are you introducing a second main event title at the first pay-per-view of this one?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Good question, actually. For me, it's more of a matter of personal preference. Even without the brand split in WWE, they still kept two main event belts (which were eventually unified) and two midcard belts, which remain separate from each other - that's something I actually like in concept, though execution is another story. (Prime example - Dean Ambrose not defending the U.S. Title for months on end; shouldn't each title be defended at least once per month?) Also, with the possibility of the main roster growing to a maximum 55-60 by midyear (expecting some high-profile guys from the other "big two" to be available by then), including 10-12 main eventers, it'd be nice if the top dogs had two main event titles to gun for. </p><p> </p><p> And I did say on the introductory OOC (slightly softening my stance) that I won't be splitting brands or going on a gung-ho hiring spree unless I'm absolutely ready...so while I don't have that in my long-term plans for this diary (unlike the first time around, where it was a long-term goal from day one), I haven't ruled out the possibility 100 percent. It just won't be happening in 2014, if at all.</p>

Greg, who wrestled under his real name in Japan's Golden Canvas Grappling, was first to be signed as of yesterday, inking a five-year deal with the SWF similar to what Mainstream Hernandez and Steven Parker had recently signed. "If TCW wasn't so hard-up financially, they would've signed Matthew a long time ago," suggests one of our insiders. "After all, his dad's still got beef with the SWF, and he was, to be honest, quite iffy regarding the deal. Sam really wanted his sons to go to Hollyweird (TCW), but since Supreme made the first move and signed Greg to a deal, that's what caused Matt to go, 'Screw this. I'm not waiting for (Tommy) Cornell to call. I'm going to New York!'" Matthew has yet to be signed to a written contract, but is reportedly close to doing so, having agreed in principle over the weekend.</div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rumors that Greg and Matt would be repackaged as a pair of masked jobbers called The Parts Unknown have been debunked by our sources; according to one of them, "It's been done before." Greg may, however, wrestle under a mask, with Matt joining him in disguise for a few weeks, but it will be in March when he officially debuts as himself, as one of eight rookies to take part in the first season of High Stakes, a reality-style "rookie search." Other High Stakes candidates from other organizations include rapper/GSW standout Fro Sure, MAW's Hollywood Bret Starr and Findlay O'Farraday, and a highly-charismatic youngster from Detroit called KP Avatar.</div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Another PSW worker was signed yesterday by the SWF, and this time it's name that's undoubtedly familiar to tag team wrestling fans. In the 2000s, </div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#4169E1;">Greg Black</span></span></strong></div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> was known as "Groucho Bling", one half of former World Tag Team Champions High Concept with Elmo Benson. With Benson having left to join TCW, Black remained in the SWF, started using his real name, but never quite got over as a bland midcard babyface without a gimmick. This time, though, Black won't be fighting in the main roster; rather, he will be focusing on training younger workers in RIPW. "We are pleased to have Greg Black back in Supreme," read the SWF's official press release. "As one of our trainers in our developmental promotion Rhode Island Pro Wrestling, Greg's vast experience, high-flying talent and positive attitude towards the business makes him an ideal mentor for our young athletes who continue to chase that dream of making it to the SWF someday." Black was reportedly tabbed as a trainer after efforts to hire Steve Flash from NYCW fell through, due to Flash's disdain for even the slightest bit of risque.</div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<p><strong>OOC</strong> - And we're on to Week 2, the go-home show for When Hell Freezes Over! New predictors can still join in, as the requirement to qualify for the January prediction game is at least four shows predicted out of five... <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> And in my excitement to post the first show I forgot to do some touching up on what I already outlined. My bad! <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Added a quick paragraph to Jack Bruce's last promo. It's important that he hypes his When Hell Freezes Over steel cell match against Remo and not just accuse Barry Bowen of taking so long to act on Remo's beatdowns. <p>Awesome first episode man! That Pain Alliance victory was a bit of a surprise. Here's hoping they get a push, cause they're actually kinda entertaining, though they are a pain to actually keep in the locker room. Same with Dubois, even if he's got a pretty good gimmick.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, here are my predictions:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hero Squad</strong> vs The Platinum Blondes</p><p>

[sWF World Tag Team Title Match]</p><p>

Comment: I don't think the blondes are gonna win the tag titles from an out of nowhere match without any buildup whatsoever.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Amazing Bumfholes</strong> vs Quadruple B</p><p>

Comment: Quadruple B == joBBBBers</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>?????</strong> vs Eric Eisen and Enforcer Roberts</p><p>

Comment: Eisen's not gonna get the upper hand this time.</p><p> </p><p>

Steve Frehley and ????? vs <strong>The Chase Agency (w/Emma Chase)</strong></p><p>

[six-Man Tag Team Match]</p><p>

Comment: A Chase Agency win could further continue the Frehley - James feud.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> vs John Darkness</p><p>

Comment: Angry Gilmore shouldn't look weak especially when he's headed for a main-event title match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christian Faith</strong> vs Joe Sexy</p><p>

Comment: They're both at the twilight of their careers and Sexy beating Faith wouldn't do much for him anymore.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Bruce vs <strong>Rich Money</strong></p><p>

[if Bruce wins, Barry Bowen will not guest referee his title match w/Remo at When Hell Freezes Over]</p><p>

Comment: If it wasn't for the stipulation I would have been torn to choose between the two. Barry Bowen's not just gonna let Bruce take away his role from the title match at WHFO.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Question - Which SWF Superstar will be involved in the backstage segment right before Supreme TV?</p><p> </p><p>

A) Bear Bekowski</p><p>

B) Brandon James</p><p>

C) Eric and/or Jerry Eisen</p><p>

<strong>D) Everest</strong></p><p>

E) Marc DuBois</p><p>

F) The Pain Alliance</p><p> </p><p>

And he'll HOPEFULLY get sent down to developmental till his contract expires. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p><strong>Hero Squad</strong> vs The Platinum Blondes</p><p>

[sWF World Tag Team Title Match]</p><p>

Comment: <em>The Blondes are stronger as a tag team (good chance of positive chemistry, as I've learned). Of the default teams, Jimmy P and Frederique have the best singles push, so I'm always torn between splitting them up or keeping them together. Pain Alliance is "feuding" with Hero Squad, and I think that show down is saved for When Hell Freezes Over. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Amazing Bumfholes</strong> vs Quadruple B</p><p>

Comment: <em>Clearly delegated jobbers do job. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>An Underwater Union</strong> vs Eric Eisen and Enforcer Roberts</p><p>

Comment: <em>Can't go with infighting partners. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Steve Frehley and The All Americans vs <strong>The Chase Agency (w/Emma Chase)</strong></p><p>

[six-Man Tag Team Match]</p><p>

Comment: <em>There is a good chance Frehley's partners are less over than the agency. A very good chance. I have a feeling this is going to end in Cage Wars at a future PPV. Of course, you could always pull a "Frehley doesn't need partners" again and have this be a 3-on-1 handicap victory for him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> vs John Darkness</p><p>

Comment: <em>Absolute Squash. Gilmore dominates, gets over for title match. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christian Faith</strong> vs Joe Sexy</p><p>

Comment: <em>This could go either way -- both characters are being pushed in angles. Christian Faith is prob. 5-8 years into his time decline by now -- his shelf life is limited. He's going to drop eventually. My hunch is that Faith gets put over here. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Jack Bruce vs <strong>Rich Money</strong></p><p>

[if Bruce wins, Barry Bowen will not guest referee his title match w/Remo at When Hell Freezes Over]</p><p>

Comment:<em> Money/Remo have a lose alliance, and Rich is going into a match with Gilmore for a title. Another schmooz opportunity. Plus, Guest Referees are fun. </em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Question - Which SWF Superstar will be involved in the backstage segment right before Supreme TV?</p><p> </p><p>

A) Bear Bekowski</p><p>

B) Brandon James</p><p>

<strong>C) Eric and/or Jerry Eisen</strong></p><p>

D) Everest</p><p>

E) Marc DuBois</p><p>

F) The Pain Alliance</p>
