Welcome to the Evolution! As we enter the fourth week of the future of professional wrestling, the World of Movie Magic in Orlando, Florida prepares for its fourth episode of EVOLVE High Impact just days before the first pay-per-view in EVOLVE history, EVOLVE Unleashed. In addition to the very best wrestling, and the very best entertainment, EVOLVE High Impact Episode #4 will continue to introduce you to some of the stars of EVOLVE Pro Wrestling, the future of sports entertainment.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Opening up the show will be two debutants, Jean-Luc Pascual of Canada and Brody "the Giant" of Hollywood. Both competitors are unranked, but with the champion not holding a ranking spot, this will be a great chance for one of these two men to stake a claim on the #10 spot that will open up after Unleashed.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

While Jean-Luc Pascual and Brody the Giant will be looking forward to seeing the rankings released in February, El Estandar and Fergus Storm are concerned with the rankings released immediately following this show, as this is the last chance to stake a claim on a position in the Division-X title match against Kris Phoenix. Fergus Storm is in the strongest position, as he currently holds that #2 slot, but with everything to lose and little to gain from the match, will Storm feel the pressure? And will the added incentive of a place in the title match be enough for El Estandar to secure the victory he must get to climb up the rankings?</div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After the huge rankings implications of the semi-main event, the headline match will not suffer from such trappings. The contest won't be any less hard-fought, however, as Unleashed opponents Roscoe Carmine and Hancock team up to take on the man everyone loves to hate, Sean Riley, and Mississippi's Luther Mack. As has been shown throughout the month, tag team matches can influence the way the Competitive Committee think, and a win for Mack and Riley may afford them an opportunity come February. The big question of this match, however - going into Unleashed and their title match, will Roscoe Carmine and Hancock be on the same page?</div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<em>Hard do go against guy who has the word giant in his name, espesially since the oppnent is an opener guy.</em></p><p> </p><p>

El Estandar (4) vs <strong>Fergus Storm (2)</strong></p><p>

<em>Storm has been getting more camera time so far so guess he´s going to be in that title match while El Estandar has to wait his turn.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Roscoe Carmine (1) & Hancock (2) vs <strong>Sean Riley (3) & Luther Mack (5)</strong></p><p>

<em>With Carmine and Hancock currently set to face in title match, this one could be a good spot to build some tension between them while Riley getting the win would help to set up him as likely contender for whoever will become the first heavyweight champion. </em></p>

</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><span>http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Other/SaulKeaton.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Aftermath was based on a similar idea I had tried with Hilite back in the early days. Back then, of course, trying to put shows out on the web wasn't quite as successful, and the TV networks weren't willing to give us the extra time to put it out that way, so eventually we had to stop it. To be honest, it wasn't a massive loss to Hilite - we were selling the fights, not always the fighters, so their character development, while useful, wasn't a primary concern.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In professional wrestling, however, we need to make sure the audience in invested in our roster. In all of our roster. They can't do that if they never see or hear them, which makes Aftermath a great tool. We have an hour of TV time and we need to get the big names out every week - not least because I'll spend the following week dealing with talent complaints if we don't - and that only leaves a certain amount of time for the rest of the guys. Aftermath might be short, but it gives each of those wrestlers on the level below a little kick. Online media is a massive factor in all forms of entertainment today but it's becoming a huge thing in professional wrestling - Los Angeles are constantly on social media, some smaller companies are trying out these iPPV deals, things like that. We're just going about it in a slightly different way.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

One thing I really like about Aftermath is that we're using different writing teams. Of course, they communicate about what sort of segments would work well, but at the end of the day the show writers have little to do with the Aftermath scripts. That's a positive thing in my book...it keeps everyone on their toes and out of my office!</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>

EVOLVE HIGH IMPACT EPISODE #4

READY TO BE UNLEASHED

Recorded Monday 22 January 2014. Aired Thursday 25 January 2014 on MVL2 [0.67
(down 0.05)
]

Filmed at the World of Movie Magic, Orlando, FL (4,454)

ANNOUNCE TEAM:
Russell Eaton & Chaperone

<hr>

EATON:
Hello everyone and welcome, welcome, welcome to EVOLVE High Impact! Welcome to the Evolution! This is, of course, the fourth ever episode of High Impact to hit Music Video Library 2 and we are just days away from pay-per-view history as EVOLVE gets Unleashed! As always I'm Russell Eaton and alongside me will be Chaperone. Tonight we have a packed card, but I've been promised Chaperone has a big announcement to make regarding the pay-per-view and my colour commentator is currently in the ring...

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Angles/Chaperone.jpg

CHAPERONE

IN-RING ANNOUNCEMENT

While Chaperone is primarily a colour commentator for EVOLVE, over the course of the first month in the company he has become an increasingly regular on-screen sight as well, and, as you would expect given his background, he clearly revels in the ovation he receives standing in the centre of the ring. Although Chaperone may be looking for the limelight in the eyes of some, his in-ring segments have all, so far, had a purpose. This segment was no different, although as with his previous promo spots Chaperone took as much time as possible to enjoy the reception before beginning.

Once the crowd reaction had died down a little, Chaperone began hyping the Unleashed pay-per-view that would be coming live on Old Glory PPV this Sunday. Reminding the fans that the two inaugural champions, those of the World Heavyweight and Division-X Championships, would be crowned in title matches featuring the top two ranked wrestlesrs – currently set to be Roscoe Carmine vs Hancock and Kris Phoenix vs Fergus Storm [although Storm's spot will be up for grabs later in the show]. Chaperone also revealed that the Competitive Committee had arranged for Buff Norton to face Sean Riley in singles competition, and there were plans in place for a number of other top quality matches that would be revealed on the EVOLVE website in the days leading up to the PPV event.

Chaperone then moved onto the prime reason for his being in the ring – his “big” announcement. Chaperone said that the EVOLVE Unleashed pay-per-view would be a history-making event, not just for the company, but for professional wrestling. And for that reason, the President and CEO of EVOLVE Pro Wrestling Saul Keaton had arranged for two very special guests to be present on the pay-per-view. Stopping short of revealing the identities of the two individuals, Chaperone said that they were big names in the world of sport, and would make a big “impact” on the pay-per-view. The fans were left clamouring for more information, but Chaperone was happy to leave some mystery in the air heading into the pay-per-view and after a minute or so standing in the ring soaking up the adulation, the big man headed back to the announce desk.
[b-]

EATON:
Two very special guests!? Nothing more informative than that?

CHAPERONE:
If people want to see who is going to appear on the pay-per-view, then they'll just have to watch the pay-per-view. They are not wrestlers, that much I can reveal. But big names all the same, and they'll definitely keep some of the more unruly members of the roster in line!

HEAVYWEIGHT SINGLES CONTEST

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/Jean-LucPascual.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/BrodytheGiant.jpg

JEAN-LUC PASCUAL (-) vs BRODY THE GIANT (-)

Jean-Luc Pascual and Brody the Giant were not only two unranked wrestlers heading into this match, they were also making their EVOLVE, and television debuts. The two men, however, are far from strangers with both training with the Black Label Combat Club camp. As such, it was no surprise to see the camp's agent, Sonny Carlton at ringside to watch the contest.

If Carlton was expecting to see something of a fight from Canadian Pascual then he would have been disappointed, as the big man from Hollywood was completely devastating from bell to bell. With shades of the great giants such as Colossus or Towerblock, Brody went straight after his opponent and didn't let up until the three count. The result was a one-sided match that didn't do much for the Canadian, but did wonders for the enormous victor. A
Silver Screen Chokeslam (Giant Chokeslam)
from Brody took less than four minutes to finish off Pascual.

Brody the Giant wins in 3:51 via pinfall [E]

EATON:
Dominating. Absolutely dominating.

CHAPERONE:
This kid reminds me of myself as a rookie. He's got the look, the charisma and the winning mentality. Can he push himself from the crowd?

EATON:
How did you do that?

CHAPERONE:
By any means necessary...

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Angles/ChadZuma.jpg

CHAD ZUMA

IN-RING PROMO

When the action returned, Chad Zuma was stood in the centre of the squared circle, pacing backwards and forwards as a murmur of recognition ran through the crowd. Zuma is not a complete stranger to American wrestling, but he isn't as well known as some of the company's top stars, and there were some in attendance who couldn't quite decide what they make of the South African.

His nationality was not in question, however, thanks to his flag-emblazoned wrestling tights, while his Fire & Honourt-shirt made it immediately obvious which of the four “camps” the wrestler belongs to. With a microphone in hand, Chad Zuma began by thanking the fans, and EVOLVE management, for allowing him the time to speak, and the opportunity to do the one thing he loves to do – wrestle. The #6 ranked heavyweight then revealed that he had been assigned a match at the Unleashed pay-per-view, and that he had been given the freedom to select an opponent.

Zuma said he had thought long and hard about who on the roster he would like to face, and that it wasn't someone above him in the rankings – that would be too opportunistic, too simple. No, Chad Zuma's chosen opponent would be someone with experience, someone who demanded respect, someone who would provide a real challenge, regardless of the rankings of the two. That someone...would be Sava!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Angles/Sava.jpg

SAVA

The huge Hawaiian-via-Samoa walked out onto the stage with a defiant look on his face. Apparently too big to wear a regular EVOLVE t-shirt, Sava's had seen its sleeves removed and looked more like a jersey than a t-shirt! Sava didn't have a microphone in his hand, but the big man didn't need one to get his point across. Having walked out with his head raised, staring straight at Zuma, Sava didn't move a muscle for what seemed like an eternity after he reached the top of the ramp. Slowly, however, his head began to drop...and rise...and drop. Sava nodded in agreement – he accepted the challenge for a match at Unleashed pay-per-view! Sava, his part complete, headed back through the circular curtain, leaving Chad Zuma to spend a moment with the fans to absorb the match that had just been booked

EATON:
Chad Zuma vs Sava! That's going to be a tough, physical match if ever I've seen one!

CHAPERONE:
I wouldn't want to be the referee that needs to get between those two. A very interesting contest I'd say – and too close even for me to call!

EATON:
Speaking of close matches, next up we've got Division-X action where the winner all but guarantees himself a place in the first ever title match in EVOLVE Pro Wrestling. It's El Estandar against Fergus Storm and it is up next...

DIVISION-X SINGLES CONTEST

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/ElEstandar.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/FergusStorm.jpg

EL ESTANDAR (4) vs FERGUS STORM (2)

Fergus Storm has already had to defend his #2 Division-X ranking once in EVOLVE, but in that contest two weeks ago the Scotsman was triumphant against the tattooed high-flier, Shannon Sorensen. He had a different type of wrestler to defeat in this contest, however, as “The Luchador Standard” El Estandar – “hailing” from Mexico City, Mexico – is not only a talented luchador, but he's also a pretty unusual individual.

As one might expect with these two competitors, the opening of the contest was lightning-fast, with momentum swaying back-and-forth as rapidly as Russell Eaton could call the varied high-flying manouevers and agile reversals.

While in his previous singles match Fergus Storm needed to cheat to get the advantage, for the opening of this match he seemed mostly in control, with El Estandar struggling to string more than a couple of moves together. Once the fans got behind the masked man, however, things seemed to switch and suddenly Storm was on the back-foot. Trying for a second time to gain an edge via illegal methods, Storm struggled to connect with anything other than an eye rake. Storm even attempted to rip the mask from El Estandar but managed only to undo a strap before the referee came in to break things up.

The match itself was solid in both heat and in-ring action, and with so much on the line it was an edge-of-your-seat encounter for much of the near-nine-minutes it lasted. However, while Storm tried and tried he couldn't bring the match to a close, leaving El Estandar to pull out a
Suuuupppaaahhkick (Superkick)
from out of nowhere that took Storm off his feet. The three count that followed was greeted by the “lucha” chants so familiar to fans of El Estandar!

El Estandar wins in 8:54 via pinfall [D-]

EATON:
El Estandar wins! Can we get any confirmation on that rankings change, Chaperone?

CHAPERONE:
One second...I can confirm that El Estandar has moved up to second place in the Division-X rankings and will go on to face Kris Phoenix at Unleashed this Sunday. Talk about a time to win!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Angles/ElEstandar.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Angles/KrisPhoenix.jpg

EL ESTANDAR & KRIS PHOENIX

POST-MATCH ATTACK

El Estandar made his way to the back following the match, understandably pleased with himself having secured himself a place in the Division-X title match at Unleashed in just a few days time. However, almost as soon as El Estandar stepped through the circular entranceway to the back he came flying back out again, crashing painfully onto the steel staging area. The announce team and fans alike were shocked at Estandar's sudden reappearance, but all was revealed when Kris Phoenix – the #1 ranked Division-X wrestler and El Estandar's Unleashed opponent – followed him through the gateway. Phoenix didn't need to follow up the attack that sent El Estandar through the curtain, as the masked “Mexican” was still rolling about in pain. Instead, the gothic oddball simply stood over his opponent, arms raised in triumph before pointing towards the big Unleashed banner draped over the far wall of the soundstage. The message was clear – there was going to be one hell of a fight at Unleashed!

EATON:
Kris Phoenix delivering a statement to everyone in EVOLVE Pro Wrestling with that surprise attack.

CHAPERONE:
Indeed. He's letting everyone know he's walking out of Unleashed with the Division-X title, and for my money he's probably right.

EATON:
Don't count out El Estandar just yet – not many had him down to defeat Fergus Storm so he has already caused one upset in EVOLVE. Can he make another? Next up our regular series of wrestler profiles looks at Hollywood icon, Buff Norton.

CHAPERONE:
Hollywood icon!? That's pushing it a bit...

Ranked #85 on the 2013 Power 500

Known affectionately as Buff “Effin” Norton by his legions of fans, Buff Norton is an experienced wrestler-turned-film-actor-returned-wrestler who made a name for himself in World Wide Wrestling Elite during the 1990s. Having debuted in the promotion in 1993, Norton became a World Champion in 1996 by defeating the legend Guy Lothario. Norton's reign lasted just over a year before he dropped the belt to Terry Thunder and while he would never hold the World title again in the company, Norton had won over the fans with his unique promo style and huge charisma.

Unlike many WWWE stars, Norton left the business following the closure of the WWWE in 2001 and starred in a number of Hollywood films, from emotionally-charged sci-fi flick CryBorg to race-against-time thriller Tiger In Manhattan. Despite a brief return to wrestling in 2008, during which time Norton won another World title, it wasn't until 2013 that Norton committed himself full-time to a wrestling return.

EVOLVE was his chosen location, and looking to add a third World title reign to his trophy cabinet, Buff Norton is certain to add Hollywood glamour to wrestling's evolution.

EATON:
A great look at Buff Norton there.

CHAPERONE:
Tiger In Manhattan? CryBorg? Seriously?

EATON:
They took great box office numbers, Chaperone.

CHAPERONE:
Seriously?

EATON:
That's what I'm told.

CHAPERONE:
Seriously?

ROSCOE CARMINE, HANCOCK & HANNAH GOLD

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW

With just moments to go until the main event tag team match, there was just enough time for the action to head backstage where Hannah Gold was stood alongside one of the two teams involved in that bout – Roscoe Carmine and Hancock. The #1 and #2 ranked heavyweight wrestlers in EVOLVE, who are set to face each other this Sunday at Unleashed for the World Heavyweight Championship, were stood either side of Gold, about as far away from each other as was possible while still keeping all three individuals on-camera at the same time. While the screens in the background alternated between the ending of the El Estandar/Fergus Storm match and the animated EVOLVE logo, Hannah Gold asked the two men at her side for their thoughts on both the upcoming main event, and their match at Unleashed.

Understandably, both men were more eager to talk about the Unleashed title match than they were the tag match following this interview, with both begrudgingly accepting that the other was a worthy challenger. Both man was confident in his ability to win the title, but both were willing to accept that the match would be a tough one.

When it came to talking the tag match, Hannah asked whether the two would be able to work together knowing they had a match against each other so soon afterwards. Hancock said that both men were professionals and both wanted to see Sean Riley and Luther Mack beaten in the centre of the ring. Any hostility or tension between the two surrounding the title match would be pushed to one side for the sake of kicking ass! Roscoe Carmine laughed in agreement and the two walked off – in opposite directions – as Hannah Gold handed the action back to ringside.
[C+]

EATON:
They don't look like the most comfortable tag team partners ever do they?

CHAPERONE:
No, but then I can't imagine Luther Mack and Sean Riley seeing eye-to-eye either. This is definitely going to be an interesting main event...

HEAVYWEIGHT TAG TEAM CONTEST

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/RoscoeCarmine.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/WilsonHancock.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/LutherMack.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Diaries/EVOLVE/Matches/SeanRiley.jpg

ROSCOE CARMINE (1) & HANCOCK (2) vs LUTHER MACK (5) & SEAN RILEY (3)

Any suggestion that a tag team match where rankings didn't mean anything (at least, not directly) would lack the fire and passion of a singles contest was proven to be wildly incorrect in this hard-fought main event. Neither duo had teamed together before, and the result was a disjointed affair from a tag team fans point of view, but a very entertaining wrestling match nonetheless.

Hancock and Roscoe Carmine really wanted to wrestle Sean Riley, whose intereference has plagued EVOLVE's first month, while Luther Mack wanted simply to get a chance in the limelight, with his first main event match for the company.

As expected, the heels did everything possible to break up the rhythm of their opponents, and everything from blind tags, double teams and trips to the outside of the ring were used to keep them on top. Carmine and Hancock, however, kept fighting back and despite some growing tension between the two ahead of their Unleashed pay-per-view match, they seemed to keep their focus on their opponents.

Unfortunately for Roscoe Carmine, all the focus in the world wasn't going to stop a brass knuckles shot from Luther Mack as the bout headed towards the twenty minute mark. When Sean Riley sent Carmine into Mack's corner, the Canadian distracted the referee by threatening to attack Hancock on the apron. Mack wasted no time in cheap-shotting Carmine with the brass knuckles, sending him crashing to the mat. When Riley ran over to make the pin, Mack raised his hands in mock innocence, and with Carmine over in the opposite corner, Hancock could make the save in time to stop a surprising victory for the heels.

Luther Mack & Sean Riley [w] win in 19:15 via pinfall [C]

EATON:
Confusion, and a shock victory for Sean Riley and Luther Mack! The two top-ranked wrestlers head into the first ever pay-per-view event having teamed in a losing effort and with both seemingly blaming each other...

CHAPERONE:
As well they should...

EATON:
….the tension is set to go through the roof. You won't want to miss this Sunday's extravaganza – EVOLVE Unleashed – where we will crown our inaugural World Heavyweight and Division-X champions, alongside a whole host of other top quality matches. Also, for what it's worth I may change up the style of writing for this diary ever so slightly after a couple more shows (which have already been written up). I'm enjoying the more detailed writing, but the problem with it is that as it takes longer to write I am stuck on the same show in-game for a long period of time. While I was initially very excited about booking the second PPV, as that was a few weeks ago it's not quite the same! The other problem being, that I have to play another game in the meantime, and inevitably get drawn into that more than writing!

I am still enjoying EVOLVE (and the diary) at this point, so I may make things a little less detailed in order that it can move along a little quicker (and so I don't completely lose motivation in playing the game itself and stop altogether!).

FREE TO VIEW: Shay Kinsella (4) vs Luther Mack (5)

Looking at the current heavyweight rankins, there seem to be bit more faces there than heels so I figure that Mack would get the win here in order to push second heel on top 4 espesially since champ will be face.

El Ardor (-) & Rubix (9) vs Schism (10) & Shotaro Amore (-)

Rubix and Schism are the two favorites here thanks to card position and rankings and since Rubix did win their first encounter I would go with Schism here to balance that out. That said, I do admit that I´m playing favorites here as I just like Schism alt and he´s one of my early favorites on this diary.

Chad Zuma (6) vs Sava (8)

I have same reasoning here than with Kinsella vs. Mack match as Sava is ranked 8th despite being your third most popular heavyweight heel in the roster.

Jean-Luc Pascual & Mike Frobel (-) vs Matt & Mike Gibson (-)

Gibson´s are midcarders and with neither Pascual or Frobel being that high, I must assume that they take the loss here.

LADDER MATCH FOR THE EVOLVE DIVISION-X CHAMPIONSHIP

El Estandar (2) vs Kris Phoenix (1)

Phoenix just feels lika bigger star to me and more likely first champ than El Estandar.

Buff Norton (7) vs Sean Riley (3)

I´m seem to be going heel heavy with my predictions but Riley seems to be the top heel and I see little reason to have him lose to Buff here with pair of faces ahead of Riley in the rankings.

EVOLVE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Roscoe Carmine (1) vs Hancock (2)

Could go either way but I give this one to Carmine.

<p>Hadn't realised I'd missed a show until I saw the rankings update <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Read as a solid show to lead-in to the ppv. I must learn to stop going against El Estandar in my picks... that and I wish to see Cryborg or at least have the plot explained!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Mack had the rub in the main event, so I think that momentum will carry him through here.</em></p><p>

El Ardor (-) & Rubix (9) vs <strong>Schism (10) & Shotaro Amore (-)</strong></p><p>

<em>Going with the indy vet to even out the score having lost out to Rubix earlier in the month.</em></p><p>

<strong>Chad Zuma (6)</strong> vs Sava (8)</p><p>

<em>I see a bigger upside to Zuma and the focus you've given him already makes me believe he'll go over.</em></p><p>

Jean-Luc Pascual & Mike Frobel (-) vs <strong>Matt & Mike Gibson (-)</strong></p><p>

<em>Just a hunch really.</em></p><p>

LADDER MATCH FOR THE EVOLVE DIVISION-X CHAMPIONSHIP</p><p>

<strong>El Estandar (2)</strong> vs Kris Phoenix (1)</p><p>

<em>Having said I wouldn't pick against Estandar, I'm tempted here because Sleaze's promo (although I thought the same last week) leads me to believe he'll involve himself at Estandar's expense.</em></p><p>

Buff Norton (7) vs <strong>Sean Riley (3)</strong></p><p>

<em>Hard to go against Buff, but I can't see him beating Riley here as it would torpedo the momentum of someone right in the hunt for your top title.</em></p><p>

EVOLVE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP</p><p>

<strong>Roscoe Carmine (1)</strong> vs Hancock (2)</p><p>

<em>Both are championship material, but I think Carmine fits the DNA of EVOLVE and would make the ideal inaugural champion, even though equally I could see Hancock as a great heel champion and Carmine chasing.</em></p>
