WWE 2010 - After The Summer, Begins Madness (fantasy diary)

“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... timey wimey... stuff.”
David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, Doctor Who, BBC America - "Blink", first aired 2007

People understand that there are theories of other universes, and that these theories have been explained since the beginning of civilization. In the WWE, somehow these theories happened to run further into the veins of others than normal, as it wasn't intended at first.

As mentioned before, the first to discover the gateway into other worlds was Paul Heyman and his main client Brock Lesnar, after a brief electronic outage occurred in an arena during an episode of SmackDown in July during a match in the middle of the show, caused by a thunderstorm that was happening at that night, that the WWE weighted out. Of course, due to taping, the black-out in the arena was cut from the Friday broadcast in the same week, in which only the people who were actually in the arena (the fans, announcers, superstars and other staff) were legitimate witnesses to this.

During the outage, the outlets of electricity made a path into one of the locker rooms, Brock Lesnar's to be specific, and caused a large disturbance all over the arena, one enough to get attention from perhaps other worlds, which led to the creation of the vortex that opened in various places in time and in various universes. The first to come out was Stone Cold Steve Austin, a version of Austin who came into 2010 from 11 years ago, where he was one of the top men in the Attitude Era back when WWE was WWF.

At this point, he first decided to prepare himself, and to examine his surroundings. After taking a look at the future he had stumbled into somehow, he received at least a bit of attention from some peers who believed that the Stone Cold passing by them was the Stone Cold they knew as the General Manager of Raw

From then, Vince McMahon ultimately decided to have the from-the-past Stone Cold be a legitimate employee with WWE after discovering what was happening, and had him work matches while being known as Stone Cold Steve Austin II ("II" being short for "The Second" as announced by commentators and ring announcers). Another thing to mention was the fact that Paul Heyman volunteered to be the "mastermind" behind the vortex, despite actually having nothing to do with it besides it being in the same locker room as a client of his, not long after the 1980's version of the Ultimate Warrior made his presence in this new world.

The newcoming Divas who have appeared over the last couple months, names of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Applejack, are humanized versions of their Equestrian selves from a universe in the far east of the galaxy that carried a continent known as Equestria, while comic book characters The Joker and Batman were from another universe nearby the Equestria one that based around the comic book legacies and stories that people read and enjoy on Earth.

Vince McMahon, during an interview on CNN relating to the "hole in the universe" that came up in the middle of the WWE backstage, said that there may be more people from anywhere in the world that will find themselves on Earth in 2010 and years to come.

"I didn't intend for something like this to happen, but now that it did, it may just change not only the http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080811031007/prowrestling/images/thumb/7/73/WWE-Logo.png/40px-WWE-Logo.png... but perhaps the entire world."
Vince McMahon during his interview on the subject of the gateway to new worlds.

The first few weeks, starting with the week of SummerSlam, can be seen here, if technical difficulties are making things tough for you.

To celebrate ten years since the invention of this match type, the top four of the tag teams in the division are set to compete for the tag team titles in the life-risking match type of Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Everybody is either in shock or absolutely estatic over what this could lead to, as the workers and staff in and around the ring are frozen in surprise. The Joker tells the Women's Champion that her time as champion is going to come to its end, but not entirely because of himself, but of a Diva who happens to be with him, who has the unusual hair color of... just about every color in the rainbow, it seems. In a continuation of a debuting worker's storyline, The Joker is once again backstage, not wanting to wait to make an impact as he reveals that he managed to get himself a match against the Television Champion Rob Van Dam tonight, and that his female protege, the rainbow-haired Diva who appeared with him the first time, will put the rest of the Divas Division on notice tonight as well. The "dark comedy" psychotic jokes of the meaningfully named The Joker, and the contrast between him and the leather clad Divas Division newcomer, who has barely any kind of facial or body paint on her unlike the Gotham criminal freak, seems to be something of an interesting beginning to the careers of two new stars in the WWE.</p><p>

The rookie soon reveals her name to be Rainbow Dash, and that her reason for showing up to the WWE, and with The Joker, is to teach the Divas a lesson about "ruthless aggression", before walloping the Divas Champion with her microphone, in both an ironic echo, and a comparison, to John Cena's debut 8 years before.</p><p>

WWE Announces More Contract Releases

In a recent meeting, WWE staff came to an agreement on the releases of several talent, including Jesse Ray (whose contract was going to expire in a couple of months anyway) and Rosa Mendes, who both have been riding on anti-momentum, along with Mana the Polynesian Warrior, who was released due to there being various other heavyweight stars like him, road agent Harvey Wippleman to cut some more prices, and Donny Marlow, who was considered one enhancement talent too much. Both Eve and Jillian were also considered to be released, but some workers considered that Eve had some potential for her future, and Lita and Santino Marella, who are close to Jillian, didn't want her to go.

Dirtsheets Based On The Rock/Warrior/Stone Cold backstories

Information from the backstage area has confirmed that Stone Cold Steve Austin II and the returning Ultimate Warrior are not portrayed by impersonators, as previous ridiculous rumors were in belief that Stone Cold II was actually portrayed by Will Sasso, which were confirmed to be false during an interview with the comedy star that can be seen on YouTube and Dailymotion currently. The storyline behind the returning legend is confirmed to be based on a true story that occurred inside the headquarters of WWE.

There isn't information yet on whether current Television Champion The Joker, who has a striking resemblance to Heath Ledger's version from The Dark Knight and divas Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Applejack are portrayed by athletes from the indies, or actors trained in the WWE Performance Center by several trainers such as Arn Anderson, Ricky Steamboat and Steve Austin.

More information to come...

The Rock was invited to the Chairman's office, where Vince and Stephanie are. Vince praises The Rock's work over the last couple of weeks, but asks why he decided to come back after so long. However, The Rock proclaims that it didn't really feel that long, as he says that he remembers only recently taking a loss to Evolution. Drawing confusion from Vince and Stephanie, The Rock seems to think he's a few years behind, as he questions how Evolution fell apart so fast (even though they split a couple of years after WrestleMania XX), and how drastic the change of the roster was. When Vince says that it's been 6 years, in the middle of 2010. The Rock oddly quips "2010? Damn, how long was The Rock asleep before SummerSlam?" before leaving, leaving Vince and Stephanie even more puzzled. Vince then tells Steph that something has really gotten things out of control, and that he needs to check things out before it's too late.
