In this eight-man tag match, Incognito managed to get the best out of Hawkins and Ryder, before beating their team by pinning Hawkins.

Main Show

Twilight Sparkle vs. Sara Del Rey

A bit into the show, this match got booked to keep the crowd entertained while they planned for later tonight. Twilight Sparkle KO'd and pinned Del Rey with the Busaiku Knee, which popped the crowd for being so vicious and a good finisher at that.

Rating: B+

Paul Heyman then addressed the crowd on the situation with the time/space portal he had found open, saying that he didn't tear open the universe, but that he discovered it in Brock Lesnar's locker room, and that there was a bit of madness going on, as some of the people who became a part of the roster didn't sit well in the same room as Lesnar and himself, and that there's nothing to worry about. In the middle of that, he mentioned that Bad Bones was not going to be here tonight, which relieved the crowd.

Rating: B+

Chris Benoit vs. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam was a little bit of a tough competitor for Benoit, even though they fought against each other before in the past, before Benoit's... uh, death. The crowd was really into this, even though there wasn't special chemistry going on, mostly because Benoit managed to carry RVD to an almost 4-star match, close to Twilight/Del Rey earlier tonight in terms of the professional technical clinic going on. In the end, Benoit made RVD tap to the Crippler Crossface, shouting to the camera mid-hold "This will happen to you, Warrior! This will happen to you and I'll make you tap!"

Rating: B+

Santino Marella and John Cena vs. Carlito and Epico

Cena basically squashed Epico and Carlito in this comic-relief match. One odd highlight was of Santino Marella getting a 2-count off a roll-up that he trapped Carlito into by rolling up into a ball Eugene-style. Cena pinned Epico with the Attitude Adjustment.

Rating: C

Rainbow Dash and Rarity came down to the ring, and Dash announced that she and Rarity wanted to celebrate her (Dash's) victory over Trish and Lita "in style", after a little bit of un-amplified discussion between the two of them, just before the promo began. Soon enough, the celebration was taken to the level of, and I must make this clear, "HLA" from back in Bischoff's tenure, as the two misfit Divas began to make out in the middle of the ring, with an odd absence of The Joker, who usually stood by with Dashie. The crowd was getting mostly excited for this happening, but all good things must come to an end, as Twilight Sparkle suddenly came down and decked the both of them at the same time with a single chairshot, obviously disgusted with the two of them committing such odd adultery. It was hard to tell if this was how the segment was supposed to end, or if it was unscripted, as Vince McMahon came out briefly to calm down Twilight, who seemed to fittingly be the one-woman representation of the 3 Minute Warning for that segment.

Batista vs. Finlay

Batista personally dominated Finlay in this match, decking him with a spear, a spinebuster, and lastly a Batista Bomb to finish him off for the 1-2-3 pinfall.

The Hardyz vs. Legacy - NON-TITLE REMATCH

The Hardyz were flying all over the place with high-flying moves in this match, but when Jeff and Cody, the legal men in the match, fought up the ramp, the referee ended up throwing the match out as a result of a double count-out.

Afterwards, in the ring, Edge and Randy Orton talked about how they dominated Bad Bones in the ring at Night of Champions, but then began talking about the finish, in which they both pinned Bad Bones, resulting in an indecisive finish, and revealed that the WWE Championship had been vacated due to that, and due to Bad Bones's shoulder injury. The two asked for Stone Cold (the Raw GM one, not the currently competing one) to come out, and they asked for a title match for the WWE Championship, between the two of them. Steve Austin obliged, giving them the match for tonight.

Rating: B+

The Ultimate Warrior and Sting vs. The Joker and Rainbow Dash

The odd tag team match had a Diva, who wasn't exactly 100% at that point, with three superstars. However, it didn't change much, as the decent match got thrown out after about 10 minutes when The Joker was caught using brass knuckles on Sting and got disqualified as a result.

Rating: C+

Stone Cold Steve Austin I came out afterwards and booked a match between Sting and Joker for Hell in a Cell.

Rating: B-

Stone Cold Steve Austin II, The Rock and Christian vs. Big Show, Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar

Stone Cold II defeated Brock Lesnar via pinfall after a Stone Cold Stunner, in an excellent match with a good crowd. All men had some good parts of momentum in this, and come out pretty well as a result.

Rating: B-

After the match, CM Punk attacked Stone Cold II, decking him with a Go To Sleep, before saying that he wants a shot at him one more time, to end this feud, and it will happen a week from Sunday, inside Hell in a Cell!

Rating: B

The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio had the most momentum going into this, but it was The Miz who got the victory, with a Skull Crushing Finale that resulted in a three-count, and Miz getting the pin on the Face of No Mercy Champion, despite not qualifying by having no face paint or mask on his head.

Rating: B-

WWE Championship

Edge vs. Randy Orton

These two guys had an all-out war in the ring, as they gave each other all they got in this match for the vacant top title in WWE, but after much of an attempted finisher-fest, Edge came out on top with a spear on Orton, getting the victory, and once again, the WWE Championship.

Rating: B+

Edge and Orton shook hands after the match, as a sign of respect for each other.

Post-Show

Applejack vs. Rarity

Applejack and Rarity fought to a draw, in a bit of a slow, but still steady match.

Rating: C

Alberto Del Rio won a 20-man battle royal.

Big Show and Luke Gallows mainly overpowered Cryme Tyme due to being about a hundred pounds heavier than the 400+ pound gangsters from Brooklyn. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Big Show and Luke Gallows defeated Cryme Tyme in 10:10 when Big Show defeated Shad Gaspard by pinfall with a Choke Slam.</p><p>

Backstage, Women's and Divas Champion Rainbow Dash and her... girlfriend (I guess?) Rarity were having a bit of a private discussion that I don't really feel like getting into detail about, when Twilight Sparkle briefly barges in to interrupt them... only to groan frustratingly and get the hell out of there a moment later. Dash and Rarity were a bit annoyed with what her deal was about all this.</p><p>

<strong>The Hardyz vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Hart Dynasty</strong></p><p>

Just a simple triple threat tag team match with action from all six men from all three teams. Nothing complex to say about this. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Hardyz defeated Motor City Machine Guns and The Hart Dynasty in 8:08 when Jeff Hardy defeated Tyson Kidd by pinfall with a Swanton Bomb after a Poetry in Motion manuever.</p><p>

To start off SmackDown, Shawn Michaels had a celebratory party in order to celebrate his fourth World Heavyweight Championship victory, putting him above people like Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio in the rankings of the most WHC title reigns in WWE history. However, this was interrupted by Triple H, who stopped by to bring the Heartbreak Kid a little "celebratory gift": a... sledgehammer? Yes, a sledgehammer, which HHH kicked into Shawn's face while he was distracted. Haitch then laid out Shawn with the Pedigree, and then trashed the party literally with the sledgehammer he gifted and kicked into Shawn's face, to pop the crowd.</p><p>

<strong>Rainbow Dash and Natalya vs. Beth Phoenix and Mickie James</strong></p><p>

The crowd was hot for this match, as they were still pumped from the HHH/HBK segment. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Rainbow Dash and Natalya defeated Mickie James and Beth Phoenix in 8:25 when Rainbow Dash defeated Beth Phoenix by pinfall with a Shining Wizard.</p><p>

<strong>Twilight Sparkle vs. Rarity</strong></p><p>

Twilight was especially aggressive, probably as a sign of some sort of tension, but it seemed to be for storyline, as it seems that outside of kayfabe, Twilight, Dash and Rarity are all still friends. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Twilight Sparkle defeated Rarity in 6:56 by pinfall with a Busaiku Knee.</p><p>

<strong>Kings of the Ring vs. Rollins and Jacobs</strong></p><p>

This was another match to show Daniel and Regal's strengths, this time against two indy stars in Seth Rollins and Jimmy Jacobs. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Kings of the Ring defeated Jimmy Jacobs and Seth Rollins in 7:12 when William Regal defeated Seth Rollins by pinfall with a Running Knee.</p><p>

<strong>Chris Benoit vs. Finlay</strong></p><p>

Chris Benoit is building his way back up to the main event, starting with the Intercontinental Championship, as he faces off against Finlay in a pretty decent match. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Benoit defeated Finlay in 7:26 by submission with the Crippler Crossface.</p><p>

<strong>The Ultimate Warrior vs. Drew McIntyre</strong></p><p>

In an extremely short match, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Drew McIntyre in 5:23 by pinfall with a Gorilla Press and Splash. This was mainly to build up Warrior as the strong superhero he was in the 80's and 90's in WWF and WCW.</p><p>

Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin II and The Rock cut a scathing promo on the Straight Edge Society, putting them down as the scum of the Earth, and that no one needs them at all, not even those who religiously <em>don't</em> drug out or drink.</p><p>

In a Highlight Reel segment, Chris Jericho hilariously belittled John Morrison, his guest, with witty insults that made fun of his choice of style, and his losing at Night of Champions. It seems Morrison was over the insults pretty well... until when he leaved, where when he grabbed onto the ropes, he suddenly sprang off them and struck Jericho in the face with a mean Flying Chuck Kick.</p><p>

<strong>Rey Mysterio, Mascarita Sagrada and The Hurricane vs. The Shadow, The Miz and Austin Aries</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Rey Mysterio, The Hurricane and Mascarita Sagrada defeated The Shadow, Austin Aries and The Miz in 8:51 when The Hurricane defeated The Shadow by pinfall with a Shining Wizard.</p><p>

In the backstage area, Shawn Michaels insulted John Morrison for being such a dick to Chris Jericho earlier, but Morrison held himself together, as he said "No wonder Bret Hart wanted to leave."</p><p>

Punk and RVD had a short and simple ROH-style battle, with a main focus on the MMA-style onslaught. In an extremely short match, CM Punk defeated Rob Van Dam in 4:35 by submission with an Anaconda Vice.</p><p>

<strong>John Morrison vs. The Rock</strong></p><p>

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, John Morrison drew with The Rock in 8:44 following a double count out, after we saw CM Punk run in and attack Morrison, and also attack The Rock.</p><p>

<strong>Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels</strong></p><p>

In a superb bout that had great wrestling and a sizzling crowd, Triple H defeated Shawn Michaels in 12:54 by pinfall with a Pedigree following interference from John Morrison. HHH and HBK had quite a PPV-calibur match on this night, which may have made this episode of SmackDown the best one of 2010.</p><p>

Post-Superstars news:

Jack Swagger injured at WWE Superstars

During his match at WWE Superstars, Swagger landed badly when he was slammed by Shad Gaspard with a back suplex, injuring his wrist, although the injury wasn't noticed until he performed the ankle lock on MVP, which led to him straining his wrist, and forcing Porter to end the match early by rolling him up out of the ankle lock. Swagger said he can work through the strain, but he was given a week off, just to be safe.

Jon Moxley Signs WWE Contract
According to some sites, CZW star Jon Moxley has signed himself to World Wrestling Entertainment, where he will be working under the name "Dean Ambrose", and is looking to get a midcard push in the future.

Pre-Show

Before the pre-show, it was announced on WWE.com that Vince McMahon will be facing off against Paul Heyman inside Hell in a Cell at the Hellish Pre-Show at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Main Show

In an episode of the Cutting Edge, Edge tried to interview Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar repeatedly insulted him and then swiftly laid him out with an F5.

Steve Austin came out and announced that Edge and Lesnar will face off at Hell in a Cell.

X-Pac vs. Booker T

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, X-Pac defeated Booker T in 7:27 by pinfall with a Sitout Facebuster.

Rarity vs. Angel Williams

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Rarity defeated Angel Williams in 6:43 by pinfall with a handful of tights. This was to build up Rarity's momentum for a later time.

Rating: B-

After the match, Twilight Sparkle hit the ring and took Rarity down in one swoop, tossing her all over the ring, and tearing some of Rarity's clothes apart in the process. Sparkle then continued the assault by smacking Rarity continuously with a steel chair.

Rating: C+

Vince McMahon books Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar tonight after he finds them in an argument, to give Raw an actual main event for tonight, for the fans to hopefully enjoy.

Rating: B+

Rey Mysterio vs. Mascarita Sagrada vs. Chavo Guerrero

Chavo surprisingly was a quite great worker in that ring, with two other Mexican superstars who have just as much skills. In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Rey Mysterio defeated Mascarita Sagrada and Chavo Guerrero in 5:46 when Rey Mysterio defeated Mascarita Sagrada by pinfall with a West Coast Pop.

Rating: B+

Kings of the Ring and Legacy vs. The Hardyz and the Motor City Machine Guns

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Kings of the Ring and Legacy defeated The Hardyz and Motor City Machine Guns in 9:44 when William Regal defeated Chris Sabin by pinfall by using brass knuckles to knock him out.

Rating: B-

10-Man Battle Royal to determine John Cena's United States Championship opponent at Hell in a Cell

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Sheamus won a battle royal in 9:51. The other members of the 'final four' were Montel Vontavious Porter, Mark Henry and Rob Van Dam, with Montel Vontavious Porter being the final elimination. Rob Van Dam got the most eliminations over the course of the match.

Rating: B

Rainbow Dash vs. Applejack

Applejack worked hard to keep up with Rainbow Dash's workrate, and it made for a good match between the two talented divas who may become Hall of Famers a lot farther down the line. In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Rainbow Dash defeated Applejack in 7:01 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard.

Rating: B+

Sting promised to knock The Joker back to Gotham at Hell in a Cell, before his match with Chris Jericho.

Sting vs. Chris Jericho

This match was actually a bit disappointing to say the least, in terms of ratings. In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Sting defeated Chris Jericho in 7:52 by pinfall with a Reverse DDT.

Rating: C+

A promo recapped Shawn Michaels' celebration ceremony and Triple H interrupting it.

Rating: B+

The Rock vs. Batista

I didn't expect a lot out of Batista in this match, but wow. Good work, Dave. In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, The Rock defeated Batista in 12:15 by pinfall with a Rock Bottom.

Rating: A

Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton

Orton and Lesnar don't seem to click as good as Edge does with Lesnar, which is saying something, considering the B+/A matches Brock and Edge have had. Lesnar was also off his game a bit tonight, which means he needs to build up his consistently. In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Brock Lesnar defeated Randy Orton in 11:42 by pinfall with a quick roll up to reverse an RKO attempt.

Rating: B

After the match, Edge attacked Lesnar with a championship belt shot and a spear.

Post-Show

The Joker defeated Johnny Curtis. D
Edge and John Cena defeated the Rotunda Brothers. D+

However, the only thing between these two DC Comics icons was a steel roof, which Batman had flown down onto from the rafters. However, Joker managed to deliver The Last Laugh onto Sting through a table on the outside, followed by a pinfall, to retain his championship.<br id=""><br id="">In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Joker defeated Sting in a Hell in a Cell match in 11:10 by pinfall with The Last Laugh. During the match we also had Batman run in and distract Joker. However, the oddest appearances were by Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, who, despite having a rough argument earlier after losing yet another match against The Hardyz, still wanted to come out on top of something.<br id=""><br id="">The Undertaker delivered some devastating eliminations to almost half of the superstars in the ring, including Jericho, Morrison, Miz, Colt Cabana, Matt James Michaels and both members of Cryme Tyme, which helped in his being in the final four with The Rock and both members of Legacy.<br id=""><br id="">The Rock was the first eliminated, by Undertaker, after the both of them took down Legacy for the moment.<br id="">The Undertaker was eliminated soon after by Cody Rhodes, after a double team assault by Legacy.<br id="">However, when Rhodes managed to get Undertaker over the top rope and out of the ring...<br id="">...DiBiase came up behind his Legacy partner and tossed him over, shocking the fans, not only because it seemed that Legacy was all but together in such a sudden bait-and-switch, but that Ted DiBiase Jr. might just accomplish where his father couldn't!<br id=""><br id="">In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Ted DiBiase won a battle royal in 14:07. The other members of the 'final four' were Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker and The Rock, with Cody Rhodes being the final elimination. The Undertaker got the most eliminations over the course of the match. An odd highlight was a referee bump in the middle of the match, in which Rainbow Dash took the time to clobber Twilight with several chair shots on the outside, outside of the sight of the knocked-out referee, and still Sparkle managed to kick out, even with a busted, bleeding nose. However, it took a Shining Wizard followed by a Swanton Bomb to finish off the Celestial Superstar, and for Rainbow Dash to retain her titles.<br id=""><br id="">In a match that had excellent in-ring action and a good crowd, Rainbow Dash defeated Twilight Sparkle in 15:37 by pinfall with a Swanton Bomb. Rainbow Dash makes defence number 1 of her WWE Divas title. The ending was the most notable, however, as Randy Orton busted his way into the cell and punted Lesnar in the skull to break up a pinfall Brock had on Edge after a second F5, which helped Edge turn the tables and pin Lesnar for the 3-count pinfall, proving that no one is safe from the Punt.<br id=""><br id=""><strong id="">No one.<br id=""><br id=""></strong>In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Edge defeated Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match in 13:53 by pinfall with a Spear following interference from Randy Orton.
